Fantastic little restaurant. Found it on the bots. I searched the internet for great local restaurants in Ulm, and it's almost unbelievable that this one wasn't among the top picks. Very clean and tidy place with an eye for detail. Very friendly welcome, smooth service. We had the suggested bavette, and it was perfectly prepared. High-quality meat, typically good flavor, ideally seasoned to enhance the meat's flavor. The kids' burger was also to their liking. The fries were rarely so good. Many restaurants in Belgium could learn a thing or two from this. Highly recommended.

Great staff, personalized service, a lovely atmosphere, and a fitting ambiance! I went in as a vegetarian, the other four were meat eaters, and we were all thrilled! Although the chef asked that vegetarians call ahead next time, he still conjured up a fantastic and highly recommended pasta dish. The other four all agreed that the meat was perfect and melted in the mouth, just as you'd expect!

A wonderful place with incredibly good food, attentive service and a great atmosphere. A real insider tip! The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, but the warmth of the hosts made our visits very special. Of course, products of this quality also have their price. But we never found it inappropriate and therefore go there on special occasions.

Wir waren letzten Freitag zu viert hier. Zunächst haben 2 von uns je 2 Austern gegessen und berichtet, kaum zuvor Austern in dieser Qualität auf den Teller bekommen zu haben. Danach aßen wir alle die unterschiedlichsten Steaks, vom Filet, über Flank etc. Wir waren alle 4 richtig begeistert. Das Fleisch war von ausgezeichneter Qualität, der Garpunkt, 2x medium und 2x medium-rare war perfekt getroffen. Das Grillgemüse knackig und wohlschmeckend und die Pommes und Kartoffelbeilagen perfekt. Vom Chef hatten wir uns noch einen Rotwein empfehlen lassen, der ebenso toll und gut abgestimmt auf die Steaks war. Es war ein deutscher Cuvee in der Preisklasse 65 Euro. Am Ende bezahlten wir zu viert 380 Euro, was es definitiv wert war. BRAVO!!! Wir kommen gerne wieder. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Four of us were here last Friday. First of all, 2 of us ate 2 oysters each and reported that we had rarely had oysters of this quality on our plates before. Afterwards we all ate a variety of steaks, from fillet to flank, etc. All four of us were really excited. The meat was of excellent quality, the cooking point, 2x medium and 2x medium-rare, was perfect. The grilled vegetables were crisp and tasty and the fries and potato side dishes were perfect. We had the boss recommend a red wine, which was just as great and went well with the steaks. It was a German cuvee in the price range 65 euros. In the end the four of us paid 380 euros, which was definitely worth it. BRAVO!!! We'd love to come back. Highly recommended!

Very nice shop with top service. You feel really well served and given great advice here. In terms of price, the BeefAtelier is generally too expensive, but otherwise we were very satisfied.

Two stars for the food (see below)! The service was polite and fairly quick – nothing to complain about here. Food If you've ever traveled to France and eaten at an average brasserie (and I'm sure many of this restaurant's guests have), you'd find the meat dishes mediocre at best. The food may be okay for a German restaurant, but honestly – why can't German chefs learn from the French? -- The steak tartare was simply a piece of minced meat, barely seasoned. It seemed as if the meat had been thawed just before serving, making it impossible to enjoy the flavor. It was also surprisingly fatty, which is quite untypical for steak tartare. -- The burger was a disaster. It was overcooked (why?) and reminiscent of McDonald's – or worse, Hans im Glück – only drier. Beyond that, it was simply bland. Try ordering a burger in France: you'll get a feast, not just a piece of meat between two buns. -- The steaks were good, but nothing exceptional. They were served alone on the plate—no sauce, no side dishes—just a lonely piece of meat. It felt more like consuming food than the culinary experience you'd expect from a steak in this kind of restaurant. -- Interestingly, the side dishes (mushrooms, artichokes, leaf salad) were fantastic. Perhaps the restaurant should go vegetarian? In summary: The meat dishes deserve two stars, mainly because of the poor value. For the same money, you could travel to Strasbourg and enjoy a meal that's two to three times better and cheaper. Service The service was good, but I have one comment. We tried to reserve the restaurant online several times, but each time our request was declined. However, when we called directly, the reservation was immediately confirmed for the same date and time. There couldn't be better service: even if I had my eye on a much more expensive steak, I received PERFECT advice on what exactly suited my taste. The Flat Iron Beef was some of the best meat I've ever tasted!!! The side dishes (potato gratin - perfect creaminess, green salad - crisp and fresh with a perfect dressing that wasn't too sweet or sour) and the wine rounded off the meal PERFECTLY. The only improvement would be the telephone service, where you couldn't get through even after several calls and weren't called back. However, I went there afterward by chance and still got a seat, and as I said, service, food, ambience, PERFECT!!!

The steak (Iron Flat) was the best meat I have ever eaten. Super tender on the inside and crispy on the outside. The side dishes were also delicious. We live in an affluent society. That's why we were very surprised to find a restaurant in Ulm with very simple, intelligent stylistic devices, which surprised us positively. A great atmosphere, a very motivated, honest, non-intrusive team awaited us. The advice was excellent. I'm certainly not a consummate gourmet. However, we can say that the food was fantastic and we will definitely come back.

Among all these steak restaurants, it is the only one we can return to without hesitation. Many thanks to the chef and his team, they made us happy again with the menu offered.

It really makes you appreciate quality meats

Very professional staff restaurant. At times an elitist atmosphere with constant friendliness arises. The employees are happy to help you choose the right meat. Much emphasis is placed on the original taste of each dish. The side dishes are all reduced to essential taste aspects, which does not confuse the palate with unnecessary impressions, so that the meat takes center stage. The drinks are also very fine and cocktails are well coordinated. Of course, the all-encompassing, clean and professional atmosphere has to be paid for accordingly. But it's worth it. 😌

The meat was really very tender and fine. You can hardly get enough of it. I found it a shame that the waitress was very young and inexperienced and knew neither the wine nor the meat. Furthermore, at this price level you should pay more attention to the guests, especially since there was really nothing going on. We had to refill our wine glasses ourselves and we also had to order other requests after intensive eye contact because everyone was busy with themselves. As the new managing director, I would also try harder to attract new guests. Ergo: Good food but the subtleties that make up the exclusivity still have a lot of room for improvement. Rarely have I been so satisfied with the overall experience of a visit to a restaurant. So everything is really right here. (Steak from the photo was a "large bavette" from the weekly menu. Fantastic!)

Reserved an appointment online, got a confirmation for 6 p.m. and then we were excited to go there. This restaurant gets a clear recommendation as a steakhouse. The two very nice waitresses are not only very pretty, but they also explained to us about the steaks and were able to give us recommendations. The steak was great and the fries were great. A clear compliment to the kitchen. It was the first and last time we were there, which is very unfortunate, but that's definitely not the fault of the restaurant, it's more the distance to Ulm. It's a shame, we would have liked to come by again.

Bin heute zufällig durch die guten Bewertungen auf dieses Restaurant gestoßen. Und was soll ich sagen, meine hohen Erwartungen wurden übertroffen. Service und Beratung zum Thema New Cut waren sehr gut. Schon das Baguette mit Olivenöl zu Beginn war erstklassig. Das Petite Tender mit Artischocken war sehr gut, auf den Punkt medium gebraten. Gebratene in Scheiben geschnittene Artischoken kannte ich so noch nicht, waren hervorragend. Dass mir dann zum Abschied auch noch die Restauranttür aufgehalten wurde, war fast schon übertrieben ;-)

Great food, rare cuts, service and boss very friendly

I've driven past it several times and this was the first time I was in it with my girlfriend. And what can I say...: That was really an incredibly great evening. The service was incredibly friendly and accommodating and answered all of our questions comprehensively. The steaks we ordered... Simply unsurpassable... Really to the point and simply sensational in taste... We will definitely come back and I can only recommend it to everyone.

For me the BEST beef house in Ulm and the surrounding area. A dream for steak lovers.

My husband and I are regulars at Beef Atelier. Always consistently excellent quality, always a warm welcome! I don't know of any other Ulm restaurateur who cares about his guests like Bobo does!

An absolute recommendation! The boss loves meat and proves this with every dish that comes out of the kitchen! The service is exceptional, you feel comfortable from the first minute! In summer you can sit outside in the middle of Ulm and spend a wonderful evening with delicious food! We'd love to come back again and again! PS: Our dog loves it too, gets a delicious portion every time and is warmly looked after :)

War neulich im Beef Atelier und habe das Hanging Tender medium probiert. Einfach klasse! Genau richtig gebraten und super lecker. Und die Pistaziencreme war ein echtes Highlight. Komme sicher wieder und kann’s nur empfehlen!

Wer Fleisch liebt und wer ausgesucht gutes Fleisch essen möchte, der ist hier richtig. Ein kompetenter Chefkoch der gerne individuell berät, eine sympathische Servicekraft und ein tolles Ambiente. Einziger Fehler: wir hätten die Fleischstücke einzeln hinter einander bestellen sollen, dann wären sie heiß geblieben...

Mein Mann, meine kleine Tochter und ich waren begeistert von dem Ambiente den super freundlichen und zu vorkommenden Bedienungen und nicht zu vergessen von dem hervorragenden Essen , ich habe schon lang kein so leckeres Steak mehr gegessen und das Room ist uns bekannt. Saftig zart auf den Punkt gebraten - die Qualität des Fleisches spricht für sich. Der Koch selber war bei uns am Tisch um nachzufragen wie es war ( das fand ich super ) die Beilagen und die Jue waren ein Gedicht. Wir kommen definitiv wieder! In diesem Restaurant stimmt wirklich alles! Auch das kuschelige Eck hinten war perfekt für uns ausgesucht da wir unsere kleine Tochter dabei hatten.
