Do not order tortillas. They come fried. Bad service. Crap. No guacamole, no fresh onions, no cilantro. Oily and deep fried.

If you don't know this market hall, you'll be a little surprised at how small it is. I think there are four "restaurants" there. A burger shop, a Peruvian shop and a Mexican place, a small bar and this ramen shop. All of this without guarantee ☺️ We ate ramen. The ramen, three times garlic was really great, the atmosphere was like in a canteen. There is no service there, you have to pick up your own food. Nevertheless, tips are requested at the beginning. The ramen isn't exactly cheap, I think we paid €16 per ramen, I can't say anything about the other restaurants but give it a try.

Loud, dirty, insufferably hot and humid – absolutely horrible place with amazing food though.

In this place you can try many different cuisines, my attention was caught by Senõr Ceviche, for which there was no queue like in other places. I've never eaten this dish, but I've heard a lot about it and I'm very glad that it was a debut here, it was a real culinary adventure! An amazing taste that I fell in love with and after returning from Berlin this will be one of the things I will talk about :)

Ordered ONE margarita for €11. The price is shocking and unfathomable. I got sooo sick after the margarita I was shaking, barely could hold on to myself and ended up vomiting everything. I never had an experience like this from ONE margarita it was one of the most horrible experience I had in years. Absolute sheer terror of an experience.

A great place for tacos and margaritas!

Gully Burger.. is supposed to be the flavors of Kerala all wrapped up in a chicken burger.. BUT, I paid 19euros for a chicken burger, and some fries - which were both drenched in sauces and mayonnaise and mustard and other stuff which was simply indiscernible.. A taste explosion, that my tastebuds could just not figure out.. I'm sure there was a piece of chicken in there somewhere, but god knows I could not taste it. Instead my mouth was infested with a cacophony of acidity and mind numbing sensations, that I totally forgot about the pleasure of eating and the experience of taste.. I was forced to drink 4 beers afterward just to right my palette.. If youre looking for a good burger, don't go here - however, if youre looking to bath in mustard and citric acid this is the place for you.. shame.

Great atmosphere. We are at El Oso (Mexican food), strongly recommended! The music fits, even the color of the walls is well thought! Looking forward to our next visit.

The Bar is terrible: The market bar is really bad. A tall, blond, muscular guy treated us terribly. We were celebrating and we went out to smoke a cigarette, it was almost closing time and the guy came out and yelled at us in front of all the people not to come back. Then I came in to understand what the problem was and offer to help clean up (since we had put up balloons because we were celebrating a birthday) and he told me that we were behaving like dogs. He did not accept my help nor did he have the chance to apologize. If you read the comments about the bar, they are all very bad. We shouldn't support a business that treats people like excrement. The truth is, I can't say for sure that the blonde guy is a person who works on his five senses, he is too aggressive and arrogant.

It was super delicious!!!! Everything was perfect, pretty warm inside in the summer but you can also go outside 👍🏾😍super deliciousetacosss 🤗😍

Our experience at Markethalle left much to be desired. A simple oversight led to a disappointing encounter. We missed the notice about outside food not being allowed, and when one of us reached for a drink we had brought along to cool down from a spicy taco, things took an unpleasant turn. The bar owner's reaction was unexpectedly rude, accusing us of being asocial and demanding we leave immediately. Despite our apologies, their behavior was disproportionate. While we understand the importance of upholding rules, there are better ways to communicate them. Unfortunately, this incident overshadowed what could have been a pleasant visit. I cannot recommend Markethalle following this disappointing encounter.

Disappointing Experience at Markethallle. Our visit to Markethalle was marred by a disappointing incident. We missed the poster indicating outside food wasn't allowed, which was our oversight, and we acknowledged it. However, when one of our group members reached for a cola we had brought to cool down after biting into an unexpectedly spicy taco, a bar owner approached us rudely, accusing us of being asocial and demanding we leave immediately. Despite apologizing for our mistake, the owner's behavior was incredibly harsh and uncalled for. While we understand the importance of supporting the businesses within the hall, the message could have been conveyed in a more respectful manner. Sadly, this encounter overshadowed what could have been a pleasant experience, and I cannot recommend this place following this incident.

The tacos were really good. My second try of tacos, a more convincing experience.

I had some nachos and salsa here with some work colleagues with vegan tacos, the best part is the assortment of salsas they have is quite good and so many to choose from.

Yesterday afternoon (Sunday) we made a trip to Kuma Ramen and it was worth it. The food came quickly, the market hall wasn't overcrowded around 4 p.m. and you didn't have to wait any longer at the bar.

Super fun spot with delicious margaritas and tacos. We got 3x3 Vegan Tacos, for 10€ each, so 30€ in total. We loved the salsa selection and mixing them together on our tacos. We also each got a classic margarita - it was superb and would looooove to go back and try more of the margarita options. Classic margarita was 11€ per drink. Card only, no reservations, but excellent vibes 🙌

That's fun! I was there on a Tuesday evening with 2 friends, February 2024. Quite full, but if you wait a bit at one of the tables or at the bar, you can get a seat (otherwise go after 8:30 p.m.). Patience is also required at the Mexican stand. but it's worth it. Pork tacos were already out. We then tried the beef tacos, chorizo ​​tacos and the vegan option. The chorizo ​​option was a blast - juicy, well seasoned and with a squeeze of lime a culinary delight. Beef was also nice and the guacamole with the tortilla chips was delicious. Plus a pisco sour (round and good!) and a magarita (too much sweet)! At the Indian stand we ordered a veggie bun with potatoes and cheesy fries. The bun wasn't very exciting, but the fries were surprisingly crispy and tasty - addictive! The pizza or ramen stand wasn't open - but we didn't miss it either ;) All in all, a nice, lively place (especially the front part up to the oyster bar) to glide from everyday working life into the end of the day!

Came here with a friend for lunch and instantly liked the vibe of the place. It’s like a modern hip food court with plenty of different foods to choose from. We had Mexican and some cocktails and I would come back.

Amazingly delicious special ramen!! The best ramen I've had in Berlin, by far. Unfortunately, this was a special ramen week for @kumaramen_. Keep an eye on their Instagram handle to see when they offer special ramen. Everything was on point: broth, noodles, cashu, pork belly fat etc. Perfection!

Leider stickiger, stressiger Ort und man steht eine Weile an. Das maxikanische Essen ist lecker und Preis-Leistung ist o.k. Wir wurden leider von einem der Mitarbeiter kommen Kopf bis Fuss mit Soße bespritzt, aber keine Entschuldigung oder irgendwas bekommen. Es hieß nur wie sollen auf die Toilette gehen und es da halt weg machen.

Eine Markthalle ist ein Marktplatz innerhalb eines Gebäudes. Habe etwas anderes erwartet.

Es gibt zwar auch ein Stand mit Ramen und einen mit Burgern, aber es wirkte alles eher mexikanisch peruanisch angehaucht. Sehr schöne Food Markthalle mit kleinem mexikanischen Lebensmittel laden die aber alles für ein mexikanischen Abend da hatten. Wir hatten die tacos al Pastor die sehr lecker, saftig waren mit einer großen Auswahl an salsas zum toppen. An der Bar gab es neben dem üblichem auch südamerikanische Limonaden und richtig geil und zu empfehlen michalada Orginal mit Salz chilli Rand. Geschmacklich war alles top die Mitarbeiter waren freundlich, und sprachen mehrere Sprachen fliesend sowie geduldig für Erklärungen. Schon zu empfehlen hier. Danke das es euch gibt 🤗

Leute, der Laden ist der Hammer ! Nehmt ein bisschen Geld in die Hand und genießt einfach ! Ich kann die Einsternerezensionen nicht nachvollziehen. Der Service war professionell . Sehr kompetent und engagiert. Die Möglichkeit anschließend in die Bar geführt zu werden und weiter betreut zu werden, mit Live DJ und kleinem Chemielabor, war sensationell. Die Gäste sind international , das Essen saisonal und die Lage außergewöhnlich. Kleiner Tipp: als Nachtisch Popcorn Eis !

Markthalle war klein, süß und charmant! Waren gestern bei "Humblepie" zum essen. Hatten jeweils ein southern Chicken Sandwich, alles spitze. Besonders hervorzuheben war das Bun. Schärfegrad konnte gewählt werden - war eine Stufe über normal - hätte schärfer sein dürfen; beim nächsten mal. Ich nehme an der Homeboy an der Kasse ist der Mann hinter dem Konzept? Sehr authentisch. Bierpreis beim Kollegen nebenan war bisschen knackig…

Been to filthy pleasures bbq popup. The best brisket I’ve had in Europe so far. Forget about Lino’s, markthalle Neun or Chicago Williams-This is the real deal. Come early and hungry. Starts at noon but you should arrive no later than 11:45am.

Hat den Prenzlauer Berg als Bezirk komplett nach vorne gebracht. Die Zusammenstellung stimmt. Alkohol und Kulinarik unter einem Dach… und alles mit Kartenzahlung. Wahnsinn

there is a nice place to try some mexican wine&mezcal. the colleague was really friendly and provided with some helpful information regarding mezcal, as it was my first time to try it. I can measure my time in Berlin as pre- and post- Markthalle Pfefferberg. They've unlocked a lot of talent with their pop ups—continually impressed with the team there.

Wunderbares Ambiente und super soziale Stimmung. Ein schönes Konzept, dass sich mehrere Restaurants die Räume teilen.

Aus unserer Sicht funktioniert das Servicekonzept hier in Bezug auf Getränke nicht. Die 'Cocktail-Theke' an der es auch die allermeisten anderen Getränke gibt ('Weintheke' gar nicht erst besetzt) ist an einem Feiertag nur mit einer Person besetzt, die neben Kassieren, normalen Getränken auch die Cocktails macht... das zwar recht souverän und flott, aber dennoch ist ein Schlange von 10+ Personen und eine Wartezeit von über 20 Minuten unserer Meinung nach inakzeptabel...

Stark overrated. Eigentlich ein cooles Konzept mit viel Potential aber leider viel zu überlaufen, nichts ist wirklich geil und absolut überteuert. Die Tacos schmecken alle gleich und die für alle zugänglichen Soßenbowls sind absolut unhygienisch und auch etwas widerlich. Pulpa Tacos viel zu stark gewürzt, so kann man auch ne Schuhsohle statt Oktopus anbieten. Insgesamt eine typische, random Prenzlauer Berger Location welche mehr Schein als Sein verkörpert.

Zur Halle selbst gibt es nicht viel zu sagen außer, dass dort am Wochenende die Luft brennt. Es war sehr voll und eng und man muss definitiv reservieren, wenn man einem Sitzplatz möchte. Wir waren dort bei der Taqueria El oso und die war ausgezeichnet.

Die Tacos waren sehr lecker und der Preis mehr als gerechtfertigt. Es kommt alles frisch an und auch wenn man etwas warten muss, lohnt es sich definitiv!

This place has a huge variety of Mexican stuff, including Oaxaca cheese, chillies, candies, molcajetes, etc.

the mitte market hall is mostly about tacos and latin american products, but features pop ups, with Japanese, Indian Italien and more. there’s a latino produce shop and a bar that serves beer and cocktails. This place gets pretty packed on weekends but is still chill compared to the streetfood market in xberg on Thursday’s.

Die tacos waren sehr lecker obwohl wir leider die falschen bekommen haben. Das bestellen an der Theke war etwas schwierig, sie Bedienung war sehr gestresst und es war extrem laut. Die Margaritas waren viel zu stark - der Barkeeper meinte das wäre Mexican style. Konnte ich leider nicht trinken. Für die 9 tacos haben wir 29€ bezahlt.

Interessantes Konzept. Ich war Vorort wegen eines Pop-up Food Events. Gute Stimmung, gute Leute. Es gibt irgendwie eine Bar und verschiedene Food Spots, wie ich es verstanden hab. Sehenswert. Muss da unbedingt Mal wegen dem berühmt berüchtigten BBQ hin,an erzählte mir - legendär.

What to say about this place? don't think they need any endorsement ever. Taqueria El Oso headlines this magnum opus, with the most authentic tacos money can buy in this maximum city (no way for me to judge as I've never been to Mexico but I am assured by sources that this establishment is as close to the real deal as possible). What i truly find amazing is that every outlet here tries to be their most genuine self, be it Fabio's kitchen for the most amazing Italian food or the bar. All i can say is that every time I am here, i feel happy and satiated. I miss gullyburger though and I hope they will return soon. Nevertheless, I will keep going back for my share of indulgence and thank my stars that i could witness them blossom from the death and despair of a fantastic steak restaurant called "Tauro". This place is what makes you believe that change is sometimes progress. I invite you all to experience this legend of a place and have the opportunity to thank your stars as well.

Es tipo un mercadito. Al fondo está la Taquería El Oso. En la entrada hay una tiendita con muchos productos mexicanos: Salsas, Tortillas, Harina para Hot Cakes, Boings, Jarritos, Cervezas, Frijoles, Achiote y muchas más cosas!!!

Over-hyped and over priced. The prices are more expensive than eating in a proper restaurant or bar. To make it worse there's limited seating, really long lines, dirty toilets and zero service. Obviously, no one can expect service at a markthalle but there's a request for a tip if using the card machine. Vendors have a choice to show tip option or not so it's strange to ask for a tip for service that isn't provided. Food is nice but very expensive for what you get. The bar itself is disappointing. Combined with limited options, overall it's not worth it. The other Markthalles have better options for food, drinks and vibes.

Unreal birria tacos from the Mexican place in the back of the market. Most other vendors were closed so can’t speak to them but the bar was also nice and the mezcal margaritas were great. Would def come back.

Bloß nicht vorher was essen !!! Wer alles kostet erlebt eine Geschmacksexplosion. Das war soooooo lecker das man einen gepflegten Schnaps zum verdauen brauchte. Natürlich gab's den gleich am Service in der Mitte der Markthalle.
