Que Pasa in Berlin

Service was friendly and the food looked good at first, but less than an hour after leaving we both got severe stomach issues that lasted over 24 hours – clearly food poisoning. Very disappointing and honestly unacceptable.

Great place! We were coming from out of town and this restaurant and bar was recommended to us, and we were so pleasantly surprised. The prices are generally very reasonable, and the ambiance and atmosphere are fantastic. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

That was the most disgusting taco ever! First of all, it was completely falling apart. The sauce stank, and the taco itself smelled like a mixture of chemicals and rubber. I immediately threw it in the trash. I've ordered the exact same thing at other locations – and it was incredibly delicious. I'm never going to that place again!

This was a horrible experience. I went here two times, both times with groups around 8-12 people. The first time everything went fine. Mediocre food (but like what did you expect in Germany?) but very affordable drinks (they’re $5 cocktails and oh boy are they packed with alcohol.) The second time though, wow it was messed up. We went for drinks again and everything was going well until they brought us our 3 pina coladas. Just smelling them you could tell the cream had gone bad. Then we tried them and instantly peoples tummies starting being upset. One of us had to go home because they needed to throw up. We told the waiter but they said all they could do was make us more pina colada’s. We asked if we could just change it to a different drink of the same price and they said no. We started arguing with the manager, saying we either wanted 3 different drinks or we weren’t going to pay for them. Mind you, we had paid for all the other drinks they had brought us, and we had been there 2 days prior no problem. Despite this, they made us pay for those 3 drinks. Actually mind boggling how they treated us after giving us spoiled drinks. I would never recommend this place to anyone

Drinks are very cheap and the selection is wide, but both cocktails were quite unpleasant. Bitter yet watery if I had to describe them. The service was lovely and attentive. They did not have an item on the menu we intended to order. We ended up having some chicken tacos and fajitas. The salsas were not tasty at all, except the guacamole which was neutral and pleasant in comparison. The chicken tacos were acceptable. The fajitas had nice tortillas but the chicken was very dry (in both dishes) and the overall dish wasn't very appetizing. We ended up not being able to eat most of it and ended up having the tortillas with guacamole, not touching the other salsas. The atmosphere is not too bad, the tables were clean but the sofa chairs look stained.

I had nachos topped with chicken and cheese. There was so little chicken on the nachos that I'm still trying to figure out where the rest could be. 😂 The nachos tasted good otherwise. What bothered me, however, was the consistently bright lighting in the restaurant. This made the atmosphere cold and uncomfortable. The noise level was also very high. The server was very nice, though. But unfortunately, there's no improvement overall, as I was already disappointed years ago.

Even six years later, the chili con carne is truly feel-good food and very reasonably priced (around €6, 05/25). The enchilada was also good and surprisingly authentic for a restaurant that usually seems rather kitschy. It came with an original Mexican habanero sauce, without any added flavor enhancers or sugar; I was completely surprised! With two beers, we left the place just €26 poorer and full, great! The service was good and friendly, despite the very late hour (1 a.m.). It's usually loud, though, because it's frequented by partygoers and hostel guests.

Prices for cocktails are unbeatable, the quality is not top tier but it’s ok. The food was ok too. Card payments are available starting from 15€

The food is about as Mexican as a sausage, but the "cocktails" get you so drunk that when you get home you kiss the dog and walk your wife.

We ordered the Chicken Nachos with melted cheese, and Quesedilla. Both of the dishes were good. I also tried the drink Guava Maria which was okay. The prices are on a higher side, but a good restaurant to visit for a date or catch up with friends.

Went there spontaneously today. The meal without meat was very good. However, the enchiladas or the meat are seasoned with a spice that tastes absolutely harsh and is not edible for us. The service was 👍

An absolute highlight! Que Pasa impressed me across the board. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the staff super friendly and attentive – you immediately feel at home. The food was simply fantastic! The dishes are prepared with love, full of flavor, and perfectly seasoned. I can especially recommend [insert your favorite dish here], but actually everything we tried was excellent. They also served great cocktails and a really nice selection of drinks. The value for money is absolutely top-notch, and I will definitely be back. If you're looking for [suitable cuisine, e.g., Mexican or Spanish] specialties in a relaxed atmosphere, you should definitely try Que Pasa!

My expectations were probably Too high

A very nice Mexican restaurant with cheap cocktails. We have always been there in a larger group and unfortunately there were occasional misunderstandings when ordering, but these were always sorted out in a very friendly and uncomplicated manner.

An odd experience, lukewarm, flavorless cheese nacho plate and weird dim lighting that makes you feel tired. The burger was okay but had a lot of sauce or mayo on it. The waiter was very impolite, insisted we pay in cash while not doing the same to other tables and actually throwing the bill at us. And getting attention by physically nudging. Will never be back.

We ended up in this restaurant by chance and absolutely loved it. Attentive service, large selection of authentic dishes, the food was ready quickly and really tasty. Our daughter was also thrilled. The children's meal was unique in terms of taste, large portion and didn't seem like a "typical children's menu".

The place is not Mexican. The waiting staff was clearly not Mexican, the food had nos of Indian spices. They served us old cheese on the nachos, the Jamaica water was just sparkling water with zoom hibiscus tossed in. Some of the worst food I've had in a long while.

Everything was fine. Good start to the evening.

There were 2 of us and we went to eat. Super abundant dishes and not a bad price for the quantity that came. The meat burrito is delicious. We ordered churros for dessert to try to see how they were and they surprised us quite a bit, for the better. Be careful with asking for a large bottle of water, we didn't look at the price and then they charged us €6.70 for a bottle of water!!!

Been there twice and it's solid. However, I prefer other places when I want to eat burritos or tacos. The portions are huge and we didn't wait forever either time. The cocktails were okay and the waiters were friendly. There is only a deduction for service because we were overlooked to pay (we then went to the front).

This is definitely not a traditional Mexican restaurant. There is nothing close to being authentic about the food. 1 year later. I revisited this restaurant Que Pasa after a year and the food quality had actually gotten worse. There was no seasoning on the food whatsoever. The chicken quesadilla was just a chicken breast with cheese on top wrapped in a Tortilla. The chicken was not separated. It was actually just a breast with no seasoning whatsoever on it. I highly recommend that no one goes to this restaurant. It's absolutely horrible for food, I would say it was the worst Mexican food I've ever had in my life. If all you want is drinks it seems like their drinks menu is very nice.

I do not recommend this place for foreigners and tourists. The staff told us to ‘go back to our country’, because we had only card to pay. This kind of behavior is absolutely unacceptable! If you expect hospitality and respect, it’s better to choose another place.

I went to this restaurant with a local Mexican friend who recommended it. Sopa Azteca soup is quite easy to eat, you say this is an appetizer, but I see it as a main portion for Asians (or Vietnamese), very large and heavy on the stomach. The main dish is Swiss Enchiladas, the chicken filling is very good. The cheese-like sauce on top is quite strong so I can't eat it, but for Mexican friends, it feels familiar so it's very good. Delicious, fresh salad. The rice is greasy, the grains are loose, but the taste is very nutty. As for the black bean dish served with it, it is rich in beans and mixed with rice. The portion is quite large, for Asian women, it's ok for two people to order together. Good space, good music, beautiful and romantic decoration, suitable for dating in Berlin. Clean restrooms, nice lights. Price from 20eu/person. New restaurant opened in Berlin, not too far from Hbf, should try.

The food was excellent, as were the drinks. Cocktails tasted delicious and didn't cost much money. The service was nice and always attentive when a glass was empty. The only drawback, please make sure that you can lock the door in the women's toilet. A small lock in front of it would be enough. We would still like to come back!

Drink one cocktail there and you'll never want another one. For €5.50 (no matter which one is on the big menu) they are mega, mega good... My tip: Long Island Ice Tea :-) The food is also great... I recommend the chicken burrito 🌯 Complete recommendation at the end or beginning of the busy Bergmannstrasse.

In itself a very nice bar, very nice service, food is also good. But what is totally unacceptable is that there is no lock in the women's toilet to lock the door with. It shouldn't be a problem to install a simple sliding lock. If that changes, I will change the rating to be more positive.

Yesterday I had dinner at Que Pasa with my friends and it was amazing! The food was delicious and the waiters were super funny, they had a sense of humor and were always smiling. The restaurant was really nice and the Latino music was BELLING.

We came with a large group and were helped very quickly. Great music and vibe. The food was delicious and came in big portions. Definitely a must in Berlin.

Super friendly staff, great selection and a nice atmosphere. We came by at around 10:45 in the evening after a concert and there was still warm food. Very reasonable prices for really large portions. Also recommended in terms of taste.

On our trip up to Berlin from Spain, we fell in love with Que Pasa on Bergmannstr. this summer, after a delicious and authentic enchillada dish that was so tasty and filling, and affordable (unlike many other places round there). We went back a few times, enjoyed the huge burrito, Nachos, more cocktails 🤭 and were always greeted by the main man Rami who had everything running smoothly. The low-priced cocktails were great quality, especially my faves White Russian and Watermelon Man and the atmo on Bergmannstr. very special. Food and drinks came quickly and the service, and value for money, was excellent. Highly recommended and see you next year guys!!!

I had the pleasure of visiting Que Pasa Restaurant and all I can say is: Wow! I would particularly like to highlight the tacos and homemade guacamole – absolutely delicious! The drinks menu also leaves nothing to be desired, with a variety of tequilas and creative cocktails. The service was consistently friendly and attentive without being intrusive. You can tell that there is a well-coordinated team at work here that really cares about the well-being of the guests. All in all, a perfect place for a relaxed evening with friends or a romantic dinner for two. I will definitely come back and can highly recommend Que Pasa!

The food is, no offense intended, suitable for tourists. Not bad but not so good that I would come back. The drinks are ok, as are the prices. What doesn't work at all, even to the point of being sickening, are the men's toilets. No flush button, a sink you don't want to touch and paper everywhere you don't need it. All in all, well-intentioned 3 stars.
