Horrible restaurant, I don’t even know where to start…rude staff; we ordered a sparkling water that had no sparkles, and when we told them, they said we were lying. Twice. The food came, the beans were rotten (very sour taste). It was clear to us, this place is not run by people that are actually from Mexico, because they don’t pronounce their dishes in the right way. Frisales in their world means beans, but it’s actually Frijoles…which we adressed, but then they said that in Germany they call it “Frisales” uhhmmm no. When the bill came (which we had to ask 4 times for) there were drinks on there that we didn’t have and they argued with us that we most certainly had them. All of this nonsense was accompanied by loud techno music that was blasting throughout the evening. At 6pm on a Sunday. We had to shout to have a conversation. Will not come here again.

We were excited to try this Mexican spot, located just a street away from Mauerpark, but it did not quite meet our expectations. We had to wait an hour and a half for our food, which turned out to be average in quality. The flavors were underwhelming, and the high prices did not justify the experience. Despite our love for Mexican cuisine, we won’t be returning.

When we put the water bottle on the table to take our seats before sitting down, the waiter asked us to put the water bottle away immediately. We had already sat down to have a drink. When we placed the order, he said that they do not accept orders under 20 euros. It's a terrible business.

Haven't eaten here yet, but sitting relaxed and having a drink or two is very possible. Service was quick and friendly, but (at least during the week) it is no longer allowed to serve outside after 10 p.m.

THE RESTAURANT PAYS TO REMOVE NEGATIVE REVIEWS. TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! After visiting this restaurant and being treated poorly, I left a 1 star review complaining about the treatment I received. I was surprised that there weren't many more reviews like that since we weren't the only dissatisfied ones of the night. Some time later I received an email from Google saying that the restaurant had hired lawyers to withdraw my opinion and that if I wanted to maintain it I had to provide proof that I had been there. Since I didn't pay the bill, I didn't have the dinner ticket, so my review was deleted. But here's another one ;) If you want, pay €100 again to have it removed, but it won't be the last.

Store bought nacho chips, wheat tortillas playing the role of a taco, weirdest chicken/beef stew served as filler, canned guacamole, margaritas made with sirup and served with lemon slices. But that wasn’t actually the worst. The worst is probably the service which is so non-caring that it isn’t even rude. Come on guys. Have some pride. Even my kids didn’t like the nachos.

Great service excellent food. The menu offers a huge selection of dishes, drinks and cocktails. The service was friendly and quick. We would only have to wait 20 minutes for the food. The atmosphere seems cozy. Price performance is good for the excellent quality you get.

Closing time was 11pm, we arrived at 10pm, we asked if it was still possible to eat there, they promptly said yes. When we place the order they respond that it is no longer possible to choose what we want. They only gave an option for nachos. While we were choosing, they pressured us to hurry up. Food was well served (nachos), but the service was terrible. I regret choosing this place for my birthday dinner.

Any resemblance to Mexican food is completely coincidental. Iceberg salad and green beans in the burrito? the restaurant gave poor service. The waitress was nagging with cocktails that we did not order and they kept playing the same song over and over again.

False mexikan. the tacos are not tacos, the tortillas are far from a tortilla, not made of corn. Meat is not Mexican style is any grilled meat and is over cooked.

The steak was not medium rare but raw and cold. Fries ok nuggets tasted like they came from McDonalds, the baked potato was way too small. The cocktails were ok so far.

Stopped in for some refreshing beers and a snack before dinner. Service was great and helpful with selecting items off the menu. Beer was great and our nacho platter was very tasty.

Nice restaurant with a large selection of drinks. There is a lot of staff during the week who are very attentive, although some seem to have language problems. The drinks were very good! But at 10 p.m. during the week, while there were still guests present, they were cleaning up and setting up chairs, even though they were supposed to be open until 1 a.m. From the point of view of the atmosphere and the actually nice ambience, one could have at least waited for the guests who were still present. Unfortunately it was very uncomfortable at the back...

In relation to bar operations: Ambience destroyed by the staff as they swept and turned off the lights during the stay. (We were there until 11 p.m., according to Google open until 1 a.m.) Service was attentive, but unfortunately unfriendly and not fluent in German.

Music was unreasonably loud, food was just below average. The Spire rips are tough, potato wedges are fried on top. The waitress clears the table and wipes the table, even though not everyone has finished eating yet.

We had a great experience, good food and good service. The staff on Saturday evening were very attentive and did everything to ensure that we 6 guests had a good time - and they succeeded 👍. Everything we ate was fantastic. For us old people, the music was perhaps just loud enough, but not something that can spoil the overall assessment.

For me, an oasis of professional service, good food and fair prices. Even if you're a large group, you can get a spot at peak times without a reservation. And of course the cocktails are nothing to sneeze at either. Keep it up!

Terribly bad! I'm surprised that such bad gastronomy even survives! The starter salad was bland, consisted almost entirely of iceberg lettuce, poorly seasoned, and the beef strips were dry. The chicken breast in the main course as well. The service was also slow, inattentive and listless. The premises should be renovated. The toilets complete the bad overall picture. A pity! Hosting and cooking can be so great! Unfortunately not here 🤷‍♀️

We always enjoy coming here. It doesn't matter whether it's winter and you're sitting indoors or outdoors in summer. The cocktails are super tasty and really strong. The food is really good too. The store is always full, so it's sometimes difficult to get a seat.

Manometer! Cocktails are cheap, but that's what you can taste: pure alcohol. The service doubts an ID card as a method of identification, so there is theater. Not recommendable!!

After countless visits to various restaurants, we have finally found a restaurant with excellent food, including an excellently equipped bar, which we have come to know and love after all this time. This mixture of restaurant and bar stood out from the rest of the boring establishments in the area. The drinks are incredible for the excellent price-performance ratio, but you can still taste the love and dedication with which the soft drinks were mixed and prepared. The food, on the other hand, tastes better than in restaurants with much higher prices and gives the feeling of having Mexico on your plate. Gladly again, worth every cent! 🔥

I haven't had such a bad evening in a long time. Despite reservations, we were seated at a table where there was no room for any of us. It was incredibly cramped, the music was way too loud and the toilet was in a hallway. The communication only in English, the service and customer friendliness left a lot to be desired. The food was OK, the cocktails were OK too, but for the price you save on the quality. I don't recommend this restaurant at all. I'd rather sit in the one on the opposite side of the street.

Very tasty food and incredibly quick on the table. Prices are quite expensive and unfortunately a terrible atmosphere. Deafeningly loud, like a club, you can't hear the person next to you, you have to shout at the waiter. YouTube plays in the background, including irritating commercials, from tin boxes. I can only advise everyone to only eat outside (weather permitting). Once inside, we left as quickly as possible because it was so unpleasant.

Ambience was fine. Unfortunately the service and the drinks were totally bad. The waiter was super unfriendly and my basil smash only tasted like cheap gin and not a bit like basil.

First time visit on weekday during lunchtime/early afternoon. It was very quiet. The food tasted nice, the portions were ok. Now if I wanted mexican food I am not sure I would call this authentic, TexMex maybe, also Burgers and Nachos. Basmati rice just does not belong in mexican cuisine and there are too many mexican restaurants in Berlin that are not run by Mexicans. My dish 'chickenstrips with mint, mushrooms in tomato sauce tasted fine but I wouldnt call it mexican. The location is quite nice, just off Kastanienallee in Prenzlauer Berg, it has outside seating, so I guess it would be nice to meet up with friends, have a cocktail...

I have rarely experienced such a lousy restaurant. The food was okay, but the price-performance ratio was below average. Cocktails were okay for the price. The service and ambience were really bad. Were put in the last corner, hardly any room to sit, right next to the toilet. Everything was incredibly loud and you could hardly understand yourself. The toilets… a nightmare. A waitress accidentally cleared away a half-full cocktail. When we brought this to her attention, she asked for our number because she probably had to transfer the money for the cocktail privately. Please what? Strangely enough, payment at a table further up was by card; the waiter in our case was extremely rude and said that it was only possible in cash. In general the service was anything but good. No hello, no goodbye.

War gerade hier mit einer Freundin essen und wir fanden es zwar lecker, aber die Portionen etwas zu klein, auch wenn der Preis angemessen war. Auch fanden wir es etwas kühl hier, obwohl wir weit weg von Eingang saßen. Der Nachtisch war heiß und lecker und würd ich auch empfehlen, jedoch habe ich schon besser mexikanisch gegessen. Kellner und Ambiente waren gut.

Cooler, ungezwungener Laden mit jungem, internationalem Publikum, leckeres frisches Carlsberg. Tolle Cocktails und Shots. Service sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Ambiente eher gewöhnungsbedürftig und sehr laut. Rippchen satt ist ganz ok, die Grillplatte für 2 lecker ,aber insgesamt zu teuer. Rumpsteak ist ein Geheimtipp, und die Fajitas ist sehr empfehlenswert. Also einfach mal durchprobieren!

Great food. Loved the tortilla soup, and pollo quesadilla. The server was also very prompt and taking care of all orders and guests, despite him being the only guy working on Christmas Day (25-Dec-2023).

We only came in for a little drink but stayed here for about 2 hours and ended up with an appetizer too🤣 cocktails after 5pm are around €5.50 on happy hour and a massive range of choice. Mozerella dippers lovely too
