It's ok, but just ok. Carnitas were a bit too dry, Tacos de Lengua were tasty but only a small portion of meat. I think they should have self made sauce.

I saw this place on my way to the boxie flea market. Their sauces looked so fresh that i walked in to try the place. So glad i did! One of the best Mexican places in berlin - hits to spot!

One of the best and real Mexican food in Berlin. I really like the tostadas, they taste like in any food market in Mexico. Cochinita Pibil is also very tasty and the sopes are good too. They have more vegetarian options than other Mexican restaurants but the offer is still limited. However, my vegetarian friend is still dreaming about some of your food! Definitely coming back!

Wow, if you want to eat traditional Mexican food, this is the place for you. Relaxed atmosphere and really extremely good food and drink (we basically tried out the menu, chicano de mescal best cocktail ever……)

Cute quaint little shop. A bit cramped but okay. Super quick to prepare the food. Food was OK. I've had better tacos but I think that's a matter of taste. Good portions.

My absolute favorite Mexican in Berlin. In contrast to many other Mexican restaurants in Berlin, this one is really super authentic - so if you're longing for the beloved tacos or aguas frescas from Mexico City, you should find them here. In terms of taste, the dishes are simply a dream and there is a large selection of sauces from which you can choose the level of spiciness. The service is also really nice. There are lots of options for veggies too!

Great tacos and cocktails, everything moved pretty quickly and the prices aren’t outrageous for Berlin. Everything on the menu is gluten free and there’s also vege options, so great for catering to dietary requirements.

Food was very good ⭐️ and it seemed authentic. Fresh and juicy. Self-service is a bit stressful. We had to queue a bit. Since everyone is running around in the room, it feels like an airport. 3 tacos fill you up quite well but you can fit more. Fairly priced too. Would come again 👍

Hands down one of the best taco joints in Berlin. Super laid back atmosphere with Corona’s on tap and plenty of salsa options.

Nice Mexican restaurant. Not the largest place, but good for nice food. No larger items (burritos) but focused on very nice tacos. Very friendly staff and fair prices. Watch out is any parking around that area. If you can take the public transportation. Cheers

I like the place and go there frequently. The food is good, not this hard shell taco gringo nonsense people try to sell you as “Mexican food” elsewhere. The only thing I don’t like too much is how small the place is, it feels a bit crammed, but there’s not much they can do about that. The staff is always quick and very nice too!

Delicious food and child-friendly atmosphere. Finally a toilet with a changing table and even diapers that are available! A dream!

Nice, small, authentic-looking Mexican restaurant. You order at a small counter and are then served at the table by friendly staff. The quesadillas were also very tasty. Everything is bright, colorful and the Caribbean background music is also appropriate. The colloquial language is often English, but people also try to speak German and hear some Spanish (the cards on display are in three languages). Overall, a very pleasant visit

Simple place with very good food AND atmosphere

Food Quality: quesadilla is quite the disappointment. Guacamole was nice but just a spoonful of it. Tacos were nice. Portions: very irregular. Some things were ok, guacamole was a joke of a portion. Drinks: Drinks were definitely not something to visit here. Frozen margaritas are from a slurpee machine but charged like freshly made. No softdrinks available, only house lemonades or beers. Price: $-$$ not expensive, but some items are over prices for what you are getting. Service: mostly counter order, and then food brought to you. Atmosphere: cozy nice place, colourful, and a bit of mexican feeling. Things to improve: the items mentioned above could use some serious attention. Payment Method: CC, cash

These are 100% authentic Mexican tacos. The staff, vibe and food are absolutely amazing. Try out the cochinita pibil quesadillas or for vegetarians the Jamaica tacos. Can’t recommend this place enough.

As someone who travels through Mexico often, I can only say the food here is as authentic as it gets. No wonder since this restaurant is owned by the same owner as the famous Taqueria El Oso. A must visit for all lovers of good Mexican food

my new favourite mexican! i am from latinamerican background and i totally love your tastes and style. so so so delicious. had a great michelada and some sopes with carnitas. tried the tostadas con pollo and the pork belly. full recommendation from my end

Food was good, but maybe a sauce without so much spicy would be great and maybe some combos to take tacos with friends would be fire.

The price/performance ratio is not okay. And what I find very discredited. I can not speak English. They only speak English and these people can't speak German. They work in Germany

Unfortunately we all got food poisoning. Tacos don’t hold, they just get soggy. The tamale looked like it came out of the microwave. It wasn’t a soft masa but hard and stale. A bit sad cuz my son loves tamales and this was not really a tamale. The margaritas are good

¡Sí! Yes! Ja! Absolutely amazing! I’ve tried several Mexican style restaurants around the city and this one takes the cake. I had the Jamaica Tacos, my friend had the Chicken Tacos and we shared a Guacamole. So yummy, so much flavor, and it was filling without being too uncomfortable. I also had the hibiscus lemonade and it was refreshing but more like a tea than lemonade. There is indoor and outdoor seating, the were was friendly and the food came fast. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back. 🌮🥑😋

If you want an authentic taqueria experience, you have to come here! However, it can get crowded and loud at times. It's self-service so order at the counter and pick up. Sometimes you have to wait a bit until a spot becomes available, but it's worth it. Don't be afraid of the 5 chili peppers on the salsa sign. It's a 5 for Allmans 🤭 I could have bathed in the delicious habanero salsa cruda

As a Mexican I don't recommend them at all!!!!! Nie wieder! The tortilla is not taco, it is chalupa size (much smaller) and they left it on the grill longer than normal because it seemed toasted. The carnitas and cochinita pibil tacos are based on beans, something I have never seen in Mexico (they are not authentic tacos). The quesadilla is served with lettuce on top (not at all Mexican), and the cheese is a slice of some common cheese from the supermarket ( I didn't like it at all) and the tortilla ended up wet because of the lettuce they put on it, very bad. The michelada tastes just like beer with a lot of tajin chili (I don't think the girl who made it has tried the original Mexican michelada yet). Very expensive for what it is. I would pay the price if the food was quality. And the attention of the girl who helped us was not friendly at all. I recommend you better go to Taqueria el Oso.

They recently opened a taco truck at Ostbahnhof with the other food stalls on the north side of the station. Cochinita and carnitas were both amazing. Overall, great experience - delicious food, excellent deal for three tacos plus agua Jamaica for 10€, kind and generous service.

Tacos were nice but I didn’t like the quesadilla. Service is really fast but try to be there before 9PM otherwise you might have to wait in the line since it is really small.

Best Mexican I've had in berlin

A small, cute restaurant with a small, good selection of delicacies. I like Mexican food and have eaten it many times, but this was something completely different. The selection was small but sufficient, everything was freshly prepared. There wasn't the usual Mexican food, but there was a different selection. Tacco with hibiscus flowers, shepherd's cheese, braised onions and avocado were delicious. The other tacco creations also tasted good. The dips are really spicy and spice everything up. The hibiscus lemonade wasn't quite a hit. The atmosphere doesn't seem quite as inviting due to the small rooms, and it's also very cramped outside. The service was friendly. My conclusion: it's nice to try it out once, try something new on your next visit. There are many options in the area. Price-performance ratio is ok.

At first glance it's a small, inviting shop. Unfortunately, the outside area is very cramped and almost directly on the sidewalk. The food isn't bad, but it's far from a highlight. However, in my opinion it is too expensive for that.

I love the place and whenever I'm around I have to eat the quesadilla there with spinach and feta and all (!) the delicious fresh sauces. The refried beans are also very good. Depending on your hunger, the portion could be larger, but the taste makes up for it. Addictive. Today I also had the Thursday pop-up ceviche with the delicious Leche de Tigre. Simply tender and delicious. Thank you, you great people. Authentic, friendly, with flair and ambience. Always well attended and clean.

I don't know what happened to my meal b8 ordered pulled pork and got chunky dry square pieces of meat. I could tell the meat was quite old due to the chewy texture and it not being fresh. The quality of the meat was bad. To simply substitute the main dish of an item and not give me the choice to say, no thanks, is quite unfair and bad business. The pictures clearly show what I mean. I see that pulled pork was on the menu for other people, but that's not what I got today. Really disappointed.

As a Mexican, I can say that this restaurant (more like a snack bar) would have no chance in Mexico. I would even feel sick from the taste and consistency. Never again

Unsure why the rating is so good - the vegetarian options are basically iceberg salad with cream, no flavor, and quite sad. The meat in the quesadillias was cold, portions are small, self-service, the drinks are pricy, and overall, the place lacks atmosphere. The location next to boxi is great, but I can't imagine they get many repeat customers.

On Sunday they didn’t have anymore chicken. So we couldn’t order what we wanted tacos or tostadas. Instead we ending up having some very boring veggie version tacos/ sopes. With Way too much salad on it. It Didn’t taste tasteful or anything particular. Especially the little tacos/ sopes weren’t worth the 10€! Plus there is often a bad street musician coming to bother you while eating. Will I go back ? No.

Excellent, authentic Mexican food. Self service and pay beforehand. Tacos with pork belly and tostadas are excellent, tamales are good too. Great side sauces avaliable too. Excellent for the price. Micheladas weren't quite what expected. Cocktails looked great but didn't try.

The best tacos in Berlin in a family atmosphere - super tasty!

One of the few good Mexican food places in Berlin. We got some tacos (vegetarian with hibiscus) and some with pulled pork and another with chorizo. Also had to try the quesadilla and as drink the homemade lemonade: all was delicious and fresh including the homemade salsas (usually three different types with different intensity in spiciness). The prices are ok for the quality and quantity of food. One note: The service is fast but sometimes the spot gets crowded so the waiting time can be long and there might be no place to sit.

I remember Sabor a mí back when it was a food truck near my place and it singlehandedly pulled me out of the darkest times during COVID isolation, thank you! Now that it's a full restaurant I am beyond excited to be living close-by because the food is just as beautiful as I remember! The pulled pork tacos are my absolute highlight ('a poem' as we'd say in German). Staff are very lovely and the restaurant is so beautifully decorated, it has an especially cosy corner inside. You really taste and feel the love they put into this place and I'm grateful for it all. Thank you for EXCELLENT TACOS! 🌮

Overpriced portions that are relatively small. The taste is okay, but not outstanding.

The food is a joke for the price. I ordered two quesedias and received one. The tequila is served warm and the toilets are just dirty.

Great tacos, cold stiff and tasty drinks, quac is a bit on the sour and mushy side, but overall an amazing place!

Just personal opinion like any other reviews. There are no special stuffs or tastes with their dishes, which are at least I’ve ordered and tasted. But they have a friendly server. There were many kids, who were very loud and not really organized and with pinch of happy energetic Latein music. Maybe I’ve visited here at wrong time(holiday lunchtime).

Good taqueria close to Boxhagener Platz. The tacos were delicious and very fresh. The sauces available made them even better. One big advantage here is the possibility of mixing the taco options in one portion (of 3 tacos), so you can try the different ones. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was great.

We stopped by here during our visit to Berlin. We knew the team from a collaboration with a mezcal bar in Berlin, which unfortunately no longer exists today. The team regularly facilitated Taco Tuesday with their food truck. The tacos in particular are really recommended and continue to be top class. Just like before. Try especially lengua, pollo and carnitas when available. Sauces can be freely added as desired. From hot sauce to salsa rojo and salsa verde, everything is included. Coriander and lime pieces round the whole thing off and ensure an authentic experience. Keep it up and see you soon!

Mexican food in Berlin, all very good

Tacos are very good, albeit a bit more expensive than elsewhere in the hood. Order process is super quick, you'll get the drinks (like a delicious frozen margerita ir even have a Hazy Pale Ale by Fuerst Wiacek) right away and food delivered to your table. Try to go not too close to closing time, while the kitchen is usually open 'til the last minute, the Margerita or some of the Salsas tend to be gone by then.

This place is incredible... A friend took me and I thank her very much because I love Creole flavors and this place meets all my expectations... It would be interesting if it offered more vegetarian variety but I think that will happen step by step because It is a relatively new business. Very good, I highly recommend it.

The pork taco is the best in Berlin. The meat is juicy, full of flavor and just perfectly seasoned. Pepe makes sure everyone is well taken care of and the drinks are a must!

So far they are the most delicious tacos I have tried in Berlin and the cochinita toasts are delicious, good music, it is very attached to the traditional flavor of Mexico, I recommend it🙌🏽
