Marché Mövenpick in Düsseldorf

Absolutely outrageous. Prices are beyond belief. It's okay that airport restaurants are a bit more expensive, but what about this? Also, only halal dishes and the like. Chicken currywurst with fries for €15.90. I've rarely eaten such a disgusting currywurst. Apparently, Marche is trying to undercut the standards of airline catering here!

Of course there is a difference, but €7.20 for a liter of water is really absurd.

I told the cashier I needed a receipt to submit to the airline due to a flight delay. I realized after two minutes that I hadn't received a receipt. I was annoyed because I had announced it beforehand, and I'm not used to not receiving one. The cashier told me it was too late and eventually shoved the entire basket of receipts into my hand, telling me I could look for them. He also thought I hadn't asked politely enough, and he and other customers discussed whether I even deserved the receipt. I left because the whole thing had become a farce.

I remember Mövenpick from back then. It was something special. Today it's very dirty, the food is very bad, and overpriced. It's a shame what it's become.

Got yelled at for asking more info on the allergycard. The burger was listed glutenfree, which would surprise me. They had to go look for someone who could understand one word English (difficult in an airpoirt)? To then proceed that surely yes it has gluten and they couldnt tell me what was actually correct on the allergy card and what not. I answered that that is kind of dangerous, could lead to people going to the hospital (other than me) and that it’s something to get checked because I don’t trust the allergy card at all anymore. The guy then screamed at me in German “THEN YOU DONT EAT” -and I didn’t cause I saw then cooking without gloves on so no thanks. He tried to talk himself out of it with a fake excuse that he just ‘wanted to help’ and was trying to say that i pick something else.’ I had to ask them to leave me alone and stop following me to the table to discuss it all more. Gross behaviour and tbh looks like unhygienic cooking.

The food itself was delicious but very expensive (airport prices, that's what you get). The staff were friendly. The atmosphere was fine. The time was around 8:30, and it was clean.

The food is a joke; everything is frozen and then served warm. It tastes accordingly. The worst thing, however, is the way the staff are treated. They are scolded in front of guests and then loudly "lectured" in front of the dishwashing area.

The service was good. The food was decent, but the prices felt too high considering the quality.

Because of three consecutive flight delays, we were given vouchers that, according to the airline and airport staff, could be redeemed anywhere at the airport. This didn't work everywhere except with the Asian lady at the cashier. So we decided not to bother.

Just there...the only nice thing is the glass booth for watching the baked goods being prepared. A croissant falls onto the disgusting floor, sits there for almost five minutes, and the employee picks it up and puts it in the display...just disgusting. And then they want 5 euros for it...

It was a delicious tuna sandwich for a quick snack. However, you have to wait a long time for your turn. Therefore, I don't recommend boarding beforehand. The plane was still tidy and clean.

i was scared by the average rating on google Maps, and i expected the worst. but it was actually quite nice. i ate a tuna fish sandwich here, i am happy with it.

March 2025: 3.5 stars and same experiences as last time August 2024: 3.5 stars. Very positively surprised by the cleanliness. Maybe it's because of the time at 4:30 in the morning. Friendly employees who even had the time to respond to special requests. The prices are crazy high, hence the point deductions. 16 euros for cheese rolls and 2x cappuccino. October 2023: 3 stars: Looks clean and well maintained, but it is not. Very dirty, lots of crumbs everywhere. Extremely overpriced. Currywurst didn't taste good, fries are fine. Baked goods can be better because everything is homemade. Nice ambience

I order a sandwich, the cashier puts it on a plate, and while he's handing it to me the sandwich slips from the plate onto the counter. He laughs and puts the sandwich back on the plate. I ask for another sandwich. He puts the one that fell on the counter back for sale, grabs another one for me and puts it on the same plate. I took it, was too shocked to comment further 🙃

Strong prices and the quality is mediocre. And if you don't want to eat too much, you don't get anything. I just wanted a beef burger. But it is only served with fries and if you want it without fries, you have to pay full price. That doesn't work. We are in the airport and not in captivity, paying expensive prices with no choice. Hopefully the owner will change it. But the team is friendly.

You processed the same payment twice from my credit card! Even though I provided my identity at the cash register and there was no problem, it seems that the same payment is not appearing twice from my credit card.

As in all airports, the prices here are a bit high. Please pay more attention to the cleanliness of the tables. Otherwise everything is ok.

If there was any competition at gate c37 for food business, this terrible product and service would not exist

Unfriendly woman in the kitchen I ordered Beff Burger 5 times and waited 20 minutes. Naughty and unpolite never again 0 star for the kitchen woman!!!!

If you are hungry at the airport, you should definitely stop by. The coffee and dessert varieties are good. The pizza varieties are many and delicious. I definitely recommend stopping by and trying it. You won't regret it. The prices are reasonable.

Amazingly fresh and delicious. I would have expected less here at the airport. Huge selection of vegetarian dishes. The price is also quite fair. A small plate 9€ a large 16€ - all in all we paid almost 33€ for a large plate, a small plate, a latte macchiato and a water. The ambience is more reminiscent of a cafeteria - airport. Definitely highly recommended for eating at the end in Terminal C!

I wanted to grab a coffee, but unfortunately my experience was anything but pleasant. At first the saleswoman made me wait a long time because cleaning the counter was obviously more important, even though there wasn't much going on. There was no greeting, just a quick glance. When I told her that I wanted to pay by card, she didn't seem to hear me properly and asked me again how I wanted to pay - in a rude tone. I repeated that I wanted to pay by card. Her rudeness and the way she spoke to me were really ugly. She said I was in a bad mood 🤭 Since I had already opened the bottle of water, I didn't get any more coffee and decided to order from another, friendlier saleswoman. When I told the first saleswoman that I was going to complain to her boss about her rudeness, she claimed to be the boss. Dear Marché Mövenpick team, that's not how you make sales. This experience took place on July 25, 2024 at 6:30 a.m.

Their pasta is of poor quality and the plates and trays are unclean. In addition, the prices are inflated. I regret the situation of the employees.

So honestly, almost €20 for a currywurst, more like a Meika Brühwurst with small fries and a beer, the “cleanliness” has already been reported on. As a good eater, I'm actually very annoyed that I could practically count my fries and at the tables next door even small children get a lot more fries, unbelievable🫣🤧 n. Sometimes I'd rather spread myself 3-4 rolls and save myself that.. .

It was a very bad experience trying out work there. They take a lot of people to work for free, then no one gets a job offer. I paid 80 euros for parking twice and worked for 9 hours, but in the end they didn't give me an employment contract. I don't recommend anyone to work there.

The soft drink price you can choose for the airport is the same as the vending machine, butter croissant 2.50, drink 3.55, shop fee 0.25 and a nice snack for a total of 6.30.

It's just so incredibly dirty in this area. Prices of course as expected (small beer 4.5, sparkling wine 8€), but then not even clean. The waiting seats in front of the gate are even cleaner. And pizza was no longer available at 7:45 p.m....

Had the chili noodles with chicken. Portion size okay. Lots of sauce, little flavor. Almost no chili at all. Other spices were missing. Ambience was good. Nice places to sit and also space, not so tight, with a view of the runway. Service was good, food was ready after about 10 minutes.

It's dirty. It's a shame that the staff, who have nothing to do, don't clear and clean the tables. I'm missing someone to coordinate here

I can't understand the negative comments. We ordered two tuna pizzas and it was ready in 10 minutes. The price is also justified for such a large portion. The taste was also very good. Would recommend it to anyone.

Unfortunately the omelette roll was not OK. Shortly after arriving at the holiday destination it broke out again and the first few days of the holiday unfortunately fell through.

You wait ages for the pizza, no system of first ordered, first delivered. The lady at the checkout says "take away" several times and of course the lady who prepares the food doesn't serve it to take away. Then you ask where the salami pizza is and the answer is "it's in the oven, 2 minutes left"... only to take a tuna pizza out of the oven. Oops, that was probably wrong... Disaster of the store

The coffee at Marche used to be good, today people look for the bean. A gas station level bun for 6.90. My fault: if I had read the reviews :) Supply and demand..... I hope that they don't advertise with satisfied customers. That would be presumptuous...

So for a restaurant in the airport, I'm really pleasantly surprised. The pizza was really well topped and tasty. The scissors are funny for cutting. Certainly a little more expensive because of the airport, but I think it's justifiable. I've definitely eaten worse, and relatively more expensively. OK, there’s no need to talk about the ambience….

Erg prijzig (zoals vaak op luchthavens) maar wat je er voor krijgt is echt teleurstellend lage kwaliteit, en ook weinig en door de manier van werken (in batches) sta je echt lang te wachten en krijg je lauw eten mee. Half gevulde schaaltjes friet, een "crispy chicken burger" van bijna 15 (!) euro waarbij je je echt wel een beetje gefopt voelt. Als je hier gaat eten, kies dan de pizza, die zagen er nog wel uit alsof je enigszins waar voor je geld krijgt.

So super schlecht! Ein Kassen und Bestellsystem was zum schreien ist und sicherlich nicht gemacht für einen Flughafen . Sehr kleine Portionen für einen unverschämten Preis ( selbst für Flughäfen). Qualität lässt zu wünschen übrig und zum guten Schluss ist kein Wechselgeld vorhanden um einem den Pfand für eine Plastikflasche zurück zu geben…. Uhhh last time.

Sitze gerade hier und genieße meinen kleinen Cappuccino für 3,60 Euro. Egal was man sieht, ob Getränke oder belegte Brötchen. Alles maßlos überzogene Preise. Aber das ist ja schon Standart im Flughafen. Aber das die Tische und der Boden total verdreckt und versifft sind Ist nicht normal.

…schon lange nicht mehr so schlecht gegessen… Bestellt war ein Rumpsteak mit Grillgemüse. Das Rumpsteak war Medium bestellt, wurde aber durch gegrillt. Nun gut, nörren auf hohem Niveu. Das es aber halb/halb war, also halb Fettrand/halb Fleisch und das gesamt unter 200Gramm geht gar nicht. Sorry, hier leider nicht nochmal, schade!

Mitarbeiterin war sehr unfreundlich! Ich habe gefragt ob man die vegetarische Pizza vegan machen kann, indem man den Käse weg lässt, dies hat sie sofort mit den Worten: „ sowas machen wir hier nicht“ abgelehnt. Absolut keine Gastfreundliche Art gegenüber den Kunden vorhanden!

Poor service, spend your euro elsewhere. Asked for a cappuccino, they asked if I want a cup or a take away then gave it in a take away paper cup anyway. Then when I reminded thrm kindly, they poured the coffee in a cup, but messily and unhappily of course. If you are not going to listen, then don't ask. Also taste of the coffee was poor. Also they sell water at 3.5 while same brand water is sold for 3 euro at machines.

Cashier accused us of not paying in front of a line of 20 people, in reality we were using an American card that required a signature which the cashier did not ask for until we left to sit.

Tables not clean. I was told it would take 45-60 minutes for any warm food to be ready. I ordered anyway and the pasta dish was ready within a couple of minutes.

We enjoyed our pizza margarita. We ate a much more delicious pizza than we expected. The price is quite reasonable. This pizza costs 10,90€ and quite satisfying for two people. Tomato sauces are incredibly delicious. The smells coming from the bakery are appetizing. The view and the ambiance in the restaurant is really great. The staffs are very meticulous and friendly.

Super liebe Mitarbeiter, welche mir mit Hafermilch ausgeholfen haben die ich für mein Kleinkind brauchte. Eine andere Lokalität verkauft sie zwar, aber nur mit Kaffee. Hier bekam ich eine komplett volle Babyflasche und das auch noch GRATIS! Viele Lieben Dank an das tolle Personal

One of the best burgers I have ever had! I was blown away as I was expecting a rubber 'lips and toenails' burger! But no! It was delicious!

Heerlijke pizza's! Lekker krokante bodem en vooral die met gegrilde groenten 'veggie lover' is een aanrader. Ziet er uit alsof het mer zorg is klaargemaakt, niet zo over je pizza gegooid.

Waren positiv überrascht von unserem Frühstück. Sicherlich war es etwas teurer als in einem Bachshop der City, jedoch waren die Brötchen groß und gut belegt und haben geschmeckt. In der offenen Bachstube kann man sich einen Eindruck von der Herstellung machen, leider habe ich die kleinen Törtchen, welche gerade auf der Zielgeraden waren, nicht in der Auslage gefunden. Bei dem heutigen immer weniger werden Service der Airlines on Board, denke ich hoffentlich beim nächsten Mal daran, mich einzudecken.

Ich habe mir ein Getränk beim Getränkeautomat am Gate A80/85 gekauft. Die Klappe schloss sich innerhalb weniger Sekunden wieder, als ich das Rückgeld entnommen habe. Das Getränk blieb im Automaten. Keine Telefon Nummer am Automaten. Im Internet eine Nummer rausgesucht und die Info bekommen, dass ich mich bei einem einem Restaurant melden sollte. Um dort hin zu kommen hätte ich falschrum durch die Passkontrolle gemusst... 3€ für die Katz... Abzocke

Der Gedanke und das Design sind gut. Dafür gibt es einen Extra-Punkt. Der operative Ablauf und die Schulungsqualität des Personals sind unterirdisch. Gäste, die angeschrieen werden. Eine leere Salatbar, die schon lange leer sein muss glaubt man der Trockenheit des Inhaltes. Wartezeiten >30 Minuten für einen einfachen Burger.

Solide. Die Pizzen waren echt lecker und groß, die Nudeln Bolo ok. Klar war es teuer, aber das sind halt Flughafenpreise… würde nochmal hier hingehen (und Pizza essen, das restliche Essen kommt in den Bewertungen ja nicht so gut weg).

Very bad organisation at peak hour in the airport. One cashier working , total chaos in delivering the orders. Very few food options in Terminal C , so lines were very long at the staff not sufficient to serve everyone with an acceptable amount of time.

Pizza jest przepyszna. Lekka, delikatna, chrupiąca. Mi bardzo smakowało.

Herrn Dr. Alexander Kaiser gefällt dieses Lokal nicht. Die Gründe hierfür sind: 1. Die Preise: Die Gerichte/ Sandwiches sind bis zu 3 Euro teurer als im Flugzeug, schmecken jedoch nach deutlich weniger. 2. Die Sandwich Brote: sie sind bisweilen steinhart. Wenn Sie kraftvoll zubeißen, benötigen Sie hinterher möglicherweise teuren Zahnersatz. 3. Das Salz: Herr Dr. Kaiser fragt sich, wie man es schafft, versalzene Käsebrote herzustellen.

Ich bin erschüttert! 27€ für einen Kaffe und 2 Brötchen! Das Brötchen war so trocken und zäh das mir der Kiefer nach der Hälfte weh tat und ich es nicht mehr essen konnte ( und das zu dem Wucherpreis ) . Ich meine wenn doch eine kleine Bäckerei vorhanden ist warum sie nicht nutzen !! Leider war das Personal mit der Menschen Menge auch absolut überfordert. Meine Meinung, marché raus - Kamps o.Ä rein !! Nie wieder !!

Der Standort von Marche am Flugsteig C nimmt den Gutschein vom DUS Parkhaus P3 nicht, obwohl sie auf dem Gutschein gelistet stehen. Keine Begründung, einfach nein.

Keine der beiden Mitarbeiter in dem Temporären Pop-up Laden auf Flugsteig C trugen hier heute Masken! Undenkbar im Lebensmittelbereich!!

Das Flughafen teuer ist, sollte ja jedem bewusst sein. Aber sich Mövenpick nennen und dann so einen lauwarmen 250ml Schlabber für 4, - EUR als Cappuccino zu verkaufen ist echt grenzwertig (bezieht auf das Outlet in Flugsteig 'C'). Das kann MC Donalds besser. Da verzichtet man gerne auf die grosse Variante.
