With less than 30% of the tables occupied, we (really) had to wait over 40 minutes for 1 salad and 1 club sandwich. Had anyone in this airport restaurant ever heard of the term "I have a plane to catch"? The staff were quite friendly but visibly inexperienced and completely incomplete. After politely insisting twice (after already waiting 30 minutes), our order finally arrived. Quality: very mediocre, greasy, and limp. As "compensation" for the long wait, we were given an extra bag of mayonnaise to go with the fries. Hilarious. p.s. The first bag, which came with the mealy fries, cost €1.60. Great pasta bologna! Huge portions!

The food was tasteless, just like the service. I asked the manager, presumably the manager, for salt and pepper so I could season the pasta. He sent me, as a guest, to search for something because he was constantly on his phone, so he had more important things to do. It's absolutely outrageous to let someone like that work in a service business. I've rarely experienced something so unpleasant, and I'll definitely never be back.

Incredibly unfriendly and disrespectful service! I was just on my way to the checkout to place my order when the employee impatiently called out to me from a distance, asking what I wanted – even though I hadn't even reached the checkout yet. On the way there, I sent a WhatsApp message, which he obviously didn't like at all. It seemed like everything wasn't moving fast enough for him. Instead of letting me place my order normally, he simply let the customer behind me go ahead and tried to serve her. When I asked him what he was doing, he immediately became rude. In the end, he actually told me to "shut up" – and his manner was almost threatening. This kind of behavior is absolutely unacceptable, especially at an airport, where guests are already under stress. An official complaint to the airport is already being prepared. I will definitely never go there again!

Professional welcome, fast service. Hot and plentiful products. The premises were cleaned and tidied immediately. A pleasant afternoon break.

The cashier, who was actually very nice, told us we could choose something. We took a table, but then the second employee came over and tried to force us to sit at a table for two, even though the restaurant was empty. 0 Service

Was here to have dinner but apparently the kitchen closes at 7pm?? :) I find the fact that an airport restaurant close their kitchen at 7 pm very strange.

The food was decent, nothing more. However, the service was quite poor. Our waiter didn’t speak English and became visibly annoyed when we struggled with German. We received the order meant for the neighboring table along with our own. When we tried to ask which dish belonged to whom, the waiter simply threw a stack of receipts on our table and left us to figure it out ourselves.

The food wasn't really tasty, to put it mildly. The service was pleasant, but the penne all'arribiata wasn't spicy at all and the sauce was really lame. The fries were okay, but the food was generally very overpriced.

It's clear that the food here isn't cheap. It's about 100 percent more expensive than usual. But that's normal at an airport. But a tiny portion of mayo for 1.60 is pretty tough.

Really cool location, clean, aesthetically appeasing. Friendly staff. Price ok for an airport. A pity that it was not possible to make a Mimosa as a result of a pricing issue. The alternative would be to purchase an orange juice & a glass of prosseco/Sekt separately. For an international airport this was rather disappointing.

Personell are so unfriendly! After waiting for 15 minutes, when we asked the a waitress to please take or order, she sent her other colleague to us, who was super angry, didn’t even said hello, acting in hurry for no good reason!

We ate two pastas and a hamburger and paid 53 Euros. In general, the hygienic staff was friendly. I am adding the prices as names.

The restaurant before departure is located in security area B at Düsseldorf Airport. Service is OK, and you're shown to your table. Drinks and food are OK, nothing special. Pizza is a bit pricey, but it's tasty. You can also get burgers and other things here. I'd definitely go back.

Possibly the worst pasta ever. Avoid.

The bistro in the security area of ​​Düsseldorf Airport offers you the opportunity to eat or drink something before departure. We had an Aperol Spritz, an espresso and a medium cappuccino for around €20. The staff is friendly and the counter with the crossaints, sandwiches, etc. looked appealing. Everyone has to decide for themselves whether they want to or can afford it. The coffee and the Aperol tasted good. The dishes look a bit "worn" in parts, but for the price you can certainly think about replacing the dishes. :)

Confusing billboard. Only in German. A cappuccino with a soggy dry croissant costs €8.60. You have to get the spoon and a cloth yourself from the other side of the counter. So according to the motto lo and behold... it's all there...

To be honest - the food was tasty and the sales person was extremely friendly. Really lovely! However, it is very pricy and the ambience is really nothing to be proud about.

Even though it was declared as pizza, it definitely wasn't pizza and wasn't worth €17.

The pizza was very tasty and crispy. The salad was fresh and the fries tasted great. The staff was attentive and friendly. Gladly again!

I actually think one star is too much for this place. Ordered a ceasar sallad, the sallad is drained in sauce and it is not tasting anywhere close to Caesar dressing/sauce. I complain and ask for a new one without the sauce but they could not make that happen since I have tasted the food. I then ask what they put into the sauce since it is not ceasar sauce, the lady assures me it is since it says so on the bottle they buy. Any more comments are not necessary but obviously didnt eat anymore since i dont want to risk getting food poisoned from a ”restaurant” like this.

Burger Federation follows the trend of “burger joints” that are currently sprouting up everywhere. The window to look at the flight operations is great, the staff is friendly but unfortunately that's almost where the good things end. At 19.90 euros for a burger with fries and a 0.33 bottle of cola, I found the meal to be rather expensive, although that would be justified for a good meal. Unfortunately that's not the case here: The fries taste exactly like frozen fries at home - no seasoning or anything that made them special. They were served in an impractical net shaped like a fryer basket. Absolutely impractical: Where should the sauce, mayonnaise or ketchup go? In any case, this little tip doesn't stay online. The burger looked really great! Unfortunately the onion rings on the burger were fried to death... They were impossible to chew and rock hard. Unfortunately the bulletin was bland and lacking in ideas. Even though I love burgers, next time there will be pizza next door.

Top food, top staff, fair prices

Sat at the counter and wanted to order 2 drinks. The employee made it clear to us that you have to buy the drinks at the checkout. Then he comes to the counter and chats with a colleague without even glancing at the customer. It's a shame that you break a spike out of your crown when you pour two beers. Unfortunately, skilled personnel are difficult to find.

Monopoly after the security check - a green salad with hardly any extra for €15 plus a bottle of water for €6. Only bad reviews can stop something like this in the long run.

A never again experience. We ordered a hamburger and a sandwich. It was the most expensive value for money meal in my life. The hamburger was small acompanied by fries which were as dry as the Sahara dessert. But hang on, no ketchup nor any sauce on the tray...So asked the server who promptly brought a 1,60 € ketchup dose...Oh my...The sandwich was damn small again acompanied by fries again as dry as hell so...In all it cost to us almost 50 €. It is to mention that my partner asked a bottle of water but the server just ignored it (maybe she just didn't hear it) but 50 € for not so good food, it made the experience frustrating and annoying.

A pleasant bistro in Terminal B with a relatively varied selection - including burgers, sandwiches, pizza and pasta. You sit quite well and it's not too busy. The service is very nice and quick. The food was delicious. It is not recommended to order ketchup or mayo with the fries.

A very nice restaurant in Terminal B, but it is advertised then it only says from 4:30 a.m. then the advertised order via app doesn't work. Unfortunately, by the time you've had the food you're already annoyed. The food itself is okay with very salty prices.

CAUTION ! I then had to throw up several times on the plane and then spent the first day of vacation in bed with a fever of 39 degrees. I ate the avocado sandwich and drank a cappuccino.

It is possible to order and pay at the table, very convenient. For an airport there is good coffee from the portafilter here.

After I waited in line for 10 minutes, all the cash registers closed unannounced and an Asian employee stated that they would now take a break every 30 minutes. Outrageous!

The burgers were good and the price was okay for an airport - but the waiting times to order and eat were far too long for an airport. The mobile ordering is nice, but many dishes are missing there.

Thought it was expensive, but maybe it made sense to eat something before my flight. I ordered the pasta Napoli. Terrible! Sad! I only ate the soggy, unsalted penne because I was hungry. For €13 you can expect more, maybe at least a plate. Instead, you get the trash served in a paper cup. I heard the whole of Italy screaming as I choked down that food. A “sauce” made from tomato powder, probably. Cheap and easy to process. Inexcusable! Don't make the same mistake as me!

Unfortunately, fries from the microwave

Our salad bowl was already covered in mold. - super disgusting! The waitress said she would make us a new salad. Great lie. She went to the back then came out, got another bowl out of the front window, went back to the back and then came back to us and put the lid on it. - true to the motto “freshly prepared”. Let's see if we can have the money back on our debit card.

Haben hier etwas getrunken um die Wartezeit zu überbrücken. Das Bistro war mäßig besucht, unsere Bestellung wurde schnell und freundlich serviert. 15€ für zwei Bier und eine Brezel ist für Flughafen Verhältnisse in Ordnung. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt war die vorhandene Rauch Lounge im Lokal.

Das Croissant mit Pistaziencreme war sehr enttäuschend für den Preis. Ein kleiner Klecks Pistaziencreme und das wars. Und dafür mussten wir 30 Minuten warten, und als es dann endlich ankam war unser Kaffee schon kalt.

Sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal. Ja die Preise sind gehoben, aber dafür schmeckt es und jede Speise wird frisch zubereitet. Da habe ich an anderen Flughäfen für mehr Geld schlecht gegessen. Sehr gerne beim nächsten Flug wieder. Danke für den guten Start in den Urlaub!

Einen Punkt für die Sauberkeit und Service Freundlichkeit. Die Preise sind überaus unverschämt. Frühstück für 2 Erwachsene und 1 Kleinkind 55€. Da fühlt man sich abgezockt schon vor dem Urlaub. Schade Autogrill

Super freundliche Mitarbeiter, leckeres Essen, Service ist auch top, sauber und aufgeräumt. Bin beim nächsten Flug von dort wieder da. Kann es nur weiter empfehlen.

Relativ angenehmes Bistro im Flughafen, aber leider auch dort die hohen Preise. Bei den Bäckern, z. B. Gegenüber A49 kostet das ganze genau die Hälfte.

Sieht recht neu und sehr stylisch aus. Großes Angebot an Broten, Bagel und Croissants sowie alle möglichen Kaffeevariationen. Freundliche Bedienung auch am frühen Morgen. Natürlich Flughafenpreise aber alles frisch und lecker und wird auch warm gemacht.

Was delicious. Exactly what I needed now. I'm wondering why the average review is so bad. I had a Cappuccino and Carbonara. Also the waiters are welcoming you with a big smile and are very kind. Price wise is it like in a normal restaurant or even a bit cheaper (I'm from Berlin, wasn't in Düsseldorfs City) Was almost about to try the carbonara pizza but I wasn't sure about it :D. Definitely interesting!

Veggie burger was cold, soggy and not cooked through in the middle. Overpriced, for example 1.20(!) for a tiny sachet of ketchup that even in the other terminal of the same airport costs 60 cents, and on the outside world is usually free.

Zwei mal umsonst angestanden, weil unklar war, wo man sich für einen Kaffee anstellen sollte.

Habe eine Bratwurst bestellt. Die hat er dann auch auf den Teller gelegt. Mit Pommes. Und mit Ketchup übergossen. Gefragt ob ich Curry haben möchte, dachte ok gerne. Gekostet hat’s dann statt 5,40 insgesamt 10,50 weil Currywurst teurer ist und Pommes ja auch kosten. So kann man auch Geld machen ;) Geschmeckt hat’s so lala, Pommes waren kalt und Currywurst war nicht durch…

10,50€ für eine Currywurst mit tiefkühl Pommes. Das spricht für sich selbst…

Sortiment SEHR teuer, Bedienung offensichtlich lustlos und Kaffee etwas appetitlich und 90% teurer als normal.

Lieber nicht, ansonsten müsste endlich mal der Flughafen aktiv werden. Haben uns einmal anpampen lassen und schnell das Weite gesucht. Bier gab's auch nebenan und das sogar mit freundlichen Service.

Extrem langsam, die Preise sind überteuert, und dann steht man ewig in der Schlange, um es zu bestellen und erfährt plötzlich, dass die bestimmte Sachen erst ab 11 Uhr anbieten, obwohl sie alle schon längst fertig in der Teke stehen und kalt werden. Und übrigens, Bistro schreibt man ohne T an Ende!

Dieser Saftladen hat eigentlich noch nicht einmal einen Stern verdient! Überteuerte Preise und miserable Qualität. Dies wird dann noch durch unfreundliche, arrogante und unmotivierte Mitarbeiter ergänzt. In der freien Marktwirtschaft könnte man den Laden nach zwei Wochen dicht machen.

Kalte Pommes, lauwarme Bockwurst, lauwarme Bratwurst, 2 Bier......knapp 30 Euronen. Der Flughafen macht sich hier keinen guten Namen in der Gastronomie in der Zone für innereuropäische Flüge. Jede Pommesbude an der Strassenecke bekommt das besser hin. Deshalb einen Doppeldaumen down👎👎

Totaal ongeïnteresseerd personeel. Lange wachtrij en dan loop je langs een pot goulash en chilii con carne met een uitgedroogde dikke laag erop. Er is niks anders op gate B maar anders was de tent gisteren al failliet.

Heel onvriendelijk personeel. Niet professioneel. Echt niet aan te raden!!!!

2 Kalte Suppen für 20€ der Mitarbeiter hat es leider nicht geschafft die Super in die Mikrowelle neben ihn zu stellen. Nach 20min warten habe ich dann 2 schlechte Baguettes für 20€ genommen. Frechheit

Sloppy, filthy and poor service.

Lasagne und Pommes sieht optisch gut aus aber sind alt und kalt und ungenießbar. Lasagne Soße schmeckt und sieht wenn die äußere Künstliche Käse weg ist wie kotze aus . Ketchup und Majo ist extra pro Beutel 1,20€.

Schlechter kann man es nicht machen. Sowohl Zutaten, als auch Zubereitung und Abwicklung der Kunden schlecht. Zudem ist alles kalt. Wir hatten Lasagne, die sehr gut aussah (nicht täuschen lassen) und Pommes. Beides war lauwarm, was bei diesen Gerichten schon ekelig schmeckt. Die Pommes haben dann eine Konsistenz wie Pappkarton. Das Gehackte der Lasagne war knorpeliges Fleisch. Der Käse wahrscheinlich Käseersatz, da man keinen Eigengeschmack feststellen konnte. Fad gewürzt. Man sucht alles aus und bekommt die Gerichte, geht dann zum Zahlen. Danach ist endgültig alles kalt. Besser: Aussuchen, zahlen (in der Zeit wird alles in den Garer getan), dann bekommt man das heiße Essen.

Erg lekker gegeten, pizzastukken waren goed van smaak en vers. Zeker een aanrader om tijdens het wachten op je vlucht nog even wat te eten. Wel duur..

Absolute Katastrophe der Laden. Es fehlt hier definitiv an Führungskraft. Die Pommes waren aber lecker.

Cappuccino war ungenießbar,Milch war schlecht.Von überteuert und der Menge will man gar nicht sprechen.Schlimm genug.

Mit ein paar Tagen Abstand dieses Bewertung! Absolute vollkatastrophe! - Ewige Wartezeiten - das es im Flughafen teurer ist; klar! Aber dieses Preise entziehen sich jeglicher Rechtfertigung! Das ist schon Wucher! - Mega schlechte Qualität! - keine Alternative, daher totales ausnutzen der Monopolstellung! - unfassbar ignorantes Personal, dem alles egal ist! - lediglich die Dame am Ende, welche Kassiert hat, war freundlich! Ich mache das ungern, aber hier muss der AirPort als Betreiber zwingend einschreiten bzw. für Alternativen sorgen!

The place looks nice, the sandwich was dry and without taste, stuff did not speak proper English (would be expected in airport). Prices are as at the airport (6.9 € for a sandwich). Couple of tables had chargers.

In tempo di Coronavirus, il locale non dispone di tavoli per poter sedersi e mangiare. Caffè ottimo preparato al momento ma i panini sono leggermente cari per la qualità offerta.
