Das Kriminal Dinner in Düsseldorf

The price/performance ratio is completely out of this world. People, it's better to go somewhere decent to eat and then go to the theater before or afterward; you'll get more out of it that way. The whole thing was extremely tedious; sitting for over four hours was torture. I was glad when it was over. I did find the food very tasty, though, even though it wasn't very much.

The play was very entertaining and the two actors entertained us incredibly well and made us laugh a lot. Big praise! But unfortunately we expected a much better menu for just under 100€ per person - the starter soup was much too cold, and for the main course we (4 people) only received a previously registered vegetarian dish after being told several times and only when the other three people at the table had already eaten. We observed the same thing at the next table. The dessert tasted like it had been thawed and overall the quality of the menu was more comparable to what you get in a canteen. We only ordered something to drink at the beginning, after which no one came to take any further drink orders. Unfortunately, the staff seemed anything but service-oriented and attentive. The drinks are not included in the price and so we paid a total of €114 p.p. for the evening. Despite the really great performance of the actors, the price-performance ratio is not appropriate and the event was unfortunately absolutely overpriced. It's a shame about the really great performance of the actors.

The play was simply fantastic. The performers were fantastic. But unfortunately, that was it. A waiter came twice in 3.5 hours, so we each only had two drinks throughout the evening. We seemed completely overwhelmed. The food wasn't great either... considering we paid almost 100 euros per person (not including drinks), it was an absolute no-go! The play alone made up for everything... The hotel where it took place was a complete flop. What a shame.
