Der Name des Restaurants spricht für sich. Giancarlo ist sehr freundlich und schafft es, die italienische Küche nach Deutschland zu bringen. Ausgezeichnetes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Köstliche italienische Küche zu einem guten Preis, große Portionen. Gemütliche Atmosphäre. Der Besitzer ist Italiener, ein Original, genau wie das Lokal. Das Badezimmer ist etwas heruntergekommen, aber das stört mich nicht. Wir, eine fünfköpfige Familie, waren danach völlig erschöpft.

Hervorragendes Essen zu einem erschwinglichen Preis! Der Service war schnell.

Sehr cooles kleines Restaurant mit wirklich freundlichem Inhaber :) das Essen war sehr lecker, die Atmosphäre dort ist sehr lässig und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt auch. Wir waren heute da und haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Achtung: die Portionen sind wirklich ordentlich groß, man merkt, dass da Männer am Werk sind 😉

Wir sind spontan nach dem Naturkundemuseum hier zum Essen eingekehrt. Der Chef war super freundlich. Das Essen sehr gut. Authentische Küche. Das Ambiente ist eine interessante Mischung aus Italiener und Rocker Laden.

Five stars aren't really realistic. But it's so authentic, so welcoming, and the food is absolutely fantastic. Cooked with love, incredibly delicious. We highly recommend it, we'll definitely be back.

Pizza is so delicious that even being full I tried not to leave anything on the plate. Workers are super nice and welcoming. Atmosphere is cozy.

A great little Italian restaurant, perfect for lunch before visiting the neighboring Natural History Museum. The food was incredibly delicious and good value for money. Bonus points for the metal ambiance :). Too bad: the restroom is out of service, hopefully it'll be fixed soon. We'd love to come back on our next visit to Berlin.

We were very satisfied. Friendly, clean, and delicious. Very unique decor. It rocks.

We accidentally discovered that there's a fantastic restaurant next to Hotel Adina! The Italian owner creates delicious dishes that are also a feast for the eyes. Don't be fooled by the rock cafe decor; enjoy the fantastic food and the music of old rockers. When we return to Berlin, this will be our regular spot!

Excellent just excellent pasta Yummi What a casual gem right next to the central station. Food lovers look no further!!

We visit family in Berlin once or twice a year and often stay next door at the Adina Apartment Hotel. We always eat here at least once during our stay and enjoy it so much. It’s some of our favorite food in Berlin - don’t let the unassuming appearance fool you!

Very traditional dishes with the best ingredients. Super family friendly and clean. Warm service.

A small Italian restaurant with that special something. The food was very tasty and the price-performance ratio was good. The service is great, you can take your own drinks from the fridge. And the special something is the ambience. Anyone expecting a typical Italian restaurant will be surprised with paraphernalia from rock history. The guys from Deep Purple are immortalized on the wall. Various record covers by Rainbow, Jimi Hendrix and others. are also on the wall. The advertising lettering also suggests that the chef Giancarlo is an Iron Maiden fan. All in all, delicious food with a special charm.

Giancarlo makes great food and always makes you feel so welcome in his restaurant! Plus how can you not love a restaurant with Deep Purple and Iron Maiden painted on the walls! Up the Irons Giancarlo!

We had an excellent lunch here, the design inside is really appealing for any rock fan.🙂 Friendly staff, tasty food and cool design. Can only recommend.😊 Update from 2025 Feb: still excellent food and nice atmosphere. We've been in Berlin again and went back to enjoy a nice meal and a good wine and were not disappointed.

Ate carbonara once on site and took a pizza with us once. Ordered the spicy salami on recommendation. Both times were super tasty and I can only recommend this restaurant. Unfortunately further away from Dortmund ;-)

Great pizza and great linguine with pulpo. It tasted very good and there was a lot. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back. An Italian to love.

What a great experience when we spontaneously stopped in there as guest Berliners and were immediately won over by the friendly, child-friendly nature of the owner. The food came very quickly, tasted wonderful and the portion was generous. The ambience is wonderful, a rocking, Italian restaurant with obviously changing daily offerings, they still work with chalkboards, wonderful. And every good Italian meal includes drinking a can of orange soda or lemon soda, which is also available there. Absolute recommendation.

The best place where me and my friends could stop to eat after the 3 hour visit to the natural science museum!!! Absolutely Italian in every way, right down to the coffee!! This restaurant is definitely abbreviated by Italians!!!!!!

Maiden Italy! Gian Carlo is from Basilicata and it shows. Pasta pomodoro delicious w/fresh cheese, ditto Penne Arrabiata. Great, friendly service. Good vibe.

If you are planning a visit to a conventional restaurant, this is the wrong place. Cool shop, you order at the counter. The owner, a rocking Italian, takes the orders, cooks, bakes, serves, collects and does the washing up himself. The food is great, the best bolognese and pizza in a long time. The owner is friendly, unless you order too much, although he points out the large portions and then gives food back. Then it can get loud 😅 Wastage isn't well received here, which makes the store even more likeable. He even left out a pizza with us today and when everything else was on the table he asked if he should finish the last pizza... Of course he was right, it was completely enough as it was 🙃 The greatest respect for that, after all, it's his sales! We will be back definitely!

Pleasant lunch with my son after the Naturkunde museum which is just a stone's throw away... Nice atmosphere especially for rock music lovers like me, Giancarlo is very nice and helpful, the choice of dishes is rightly limited... A little is better but done well.. fresh and good quality ingredients... Good prices considering the area... Well done Giancarlo!

I ordered spaghetti with tomato sauce and basil for 10€ and it was tasteless. I don’t know what kind of spaghetti they use, but it is not good.

I wanted takeaway. The owner didn't exactly explain to me in a friendly way that he didn't have anything to pack. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time this has happened. It's better to keep an eye on your inventory of take-away boxes... Long waiting times are also on the agenda.

Absolutely recommended. Rarely have I had such a good pizza. Our two children also loved the food and the friendly staff. It's a shame that we only visited Berlin for one day, otherwise this restaurant would become our new regular restaurant.

I wanted to take a pizza with me for dinner half an hour before work on Friday evening. Standing at the door when the boss came? puts a chair in the door and makes a dismissive gesture for me to go away. Was chased away like a stray dog. Truly beneath anything you can imagine... The owner's reaction shows that you shouldn't go there. You can also tell someone in a nicer way that you don't want to earn any more money 30 minutes before the end of the day...

You may try pasta with octopus. Pizza with salami is also great.

A very nice place run by the owner, who was also there that day. Fettuccine with octopus is delicious (perfectly cooked pasta - al dente). The kids also liked the pizza. The prices are most acceptable. Good rock music;) greetings to the entire restaurant team!

Cuando entras en un restaurante y està a rebosar de gente local, sabes que has acertado. Esto es lo que paso en esta trattoria ambientada en una mezcla de rock y cine clàsico con toques italianos. El dueño, con su amabilidad italiana sirve buena comida a precios màs que razonables. Si andas por esa zona, es muy recomendable

Super leckeres Essen. Sehr sympathische Mitarbeiter. Wir haben bei besten Sonnenschein ein sehr leckere vegetarische Carbonara zubereitet bekommen. Mit einen herzlichen Lachen und einer fröhlichen Art macht es das Mittag für alle angenehm!

Waren zum Essen hier, uns hat es sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Portionen und Preise sind gut. Der Besitzer ist ein sehr angenehmer Zeitgenosse, bei dem man sich sofort wohl fühlt. Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen und wir kommen gerne wieder.

Easy going place, perfect during the day. Giancarlo is a great man, great chef and great taste in music! Pasta or Pizza are best in the house. It is also a nice place to book for parties or just to hang for a beer. Bravo!

Un ristorante italiano davvero carino! Pur non avendo una vasta scelta di pietanza, la qualità dei piatti si sente. Buoni gli spaghetti alla bolognese. Locale spartano, semplice e genuino. A pranzo si può anche ordinare pizza dalle ore 14 00. Prezzi in linea con l'andamento economico. Il proprietario Giancarlo è stato accogliente e disponibile.

Très bon restaurant italien en plein Berlin et bien trop peu fréquenté à mon goût, les plat sont très bon et pour un prix plus que raisonnable (11-13€ pour un plat de pâtes), le restaurant est bien tenu et propre, en bref je recommande surtout avant ou après avoir fait le musée d'histoire naturelle de Berlin qui est à deux pas du restaurant.

Einen Geheimtipp gefolgt mit dem ich jetzt auch anderen Freunden eine Freude bereiten werde. Alles was das Buffet zu bieten hatte war super lecker und da es sonst kein Buffet hier gibt bleibt mir lediglich die Qual was ich beim nächsten Besuch dort verzehre. Besser wird wohl sein einfach öfter hier vorbeizuschauen! Danke für den bereiteten kulinarischen Ausflug in die italienische Küche und das Gefühl ein paar Stunden in Italien 🇮🇹 gewesen zu sein :-)

Absolut Empfehlenswert! Super Antipasti vor allem die Artischocken und eingelegte Tomaten, auch der Octopussalat und erst das Vitellotonnato ein Gedicht. Komme gerne wieder und für Giancarlo und Team „quindi rimani perfetto con la tua cucina“ Grande 😃

Ich bin irgendwann zufällig hier eingekehrt und seit dem öfter zu Gast, nun habe ich eine Feier mit 25 Personen hier gefeiert. Ich kann nur sagen : TOP ! Leckeres Buffet, individuell zusammengestellt, freundlicher Service. Alles in Allem ein gelungener Abend!
