Trattoria Toscana in Berlin

We had a wonderful evening with our family. Alberto had a perfect sense of things and came up with the right suggestions at the right time. Delicious food! The wine was also fantastic and when we wanted another glass, but not a whole bottle, Alberto solved that very smoothly. Thanks! When leaving the restaurant we also had a very nice conversation and a grappa with the owner (Alberto's father). Great atmosphere and great food!

It appears reservations count for nothing. I had a table booked for 2 people on Saturday 5th April (confirmation of this received via email) got there on time for the waiter to say they are fully booked and have no tables for me and weren’t accepting reservations?? I had the half marathon the next day and had specifically booked this restaurant as it was close to my hotel and had carb rich food which is what was required. It’s not often I write bad reviews but having to wrote this, to make others aware in case the same thing happens to them.

We were welcomed very kindly and we ate very delicious food.

No card only cash restaurant. We sat at this cute litte table where I had the black pasta with salmon and shrimps in a tomato sauce. The dish came out piping hot and was nice. Nothing too special, but it had nice chucks of salmon and two fairly big shrimps. Service was ok, could be a bit more friendly, but it was a very crouwded night. Staff speaks English.

The price-performance ratio was great! We got large portions, the service was nice and the ambience was nice.

Visiting Berlin had reserved a table for us online. Yesterday we were informed on site that online reservations have no longer been technically working since September. There was no apology. We then went to another restaurant.

It's a cozy place. The service is arrogant and unfriendly. The food is bad. The carpaccio was stale and dry. The tagiatelle with porcini mushrooms and beef fillet had a uniform sauce and the fillet consisted of two slices of carpaccio that floated in the sauce like pieces of cloth. I don't know why it's so popular, there are definitely many better alternatives.

We have been coming here for many years and it is always nice. The service is super friendly, even towards children, and the food is great.

2024 ---> only cash 😱 2024 ---> Berlin is so full of Italians that you can have the menu rewritten correctly. Pasquale is a name and is written with the letter Q and not C. We cannot comment on the quality of the food and service because, not having CASH, we had to leave. Classic red herring.🤷🏼‍♂️

Food was so-so, but really bad was that staff didn't bother to tell us beforehand that credit cards weren't accepted, no notices were displayed either. One of us was sent off to find a cash mashine. Deplorable.

Attention, of course, no card payment is possible here!! Staff could no longer find or print out the outstanding invoice. Instead, they looked for another (higher) bill from the trash can with the note that they could deduct even more from their taxes. Delicious food with a really bitter aftertaste!

Very tasty restaurant with moderate prices. What is unacceptable these days is that card payments are not possible. When will innkeepers learn that we are in 2024? Otherwise very nice staff and the toilets are clean. Because of the lack of card payment, I only give it three stars.

We sit outside under the awning on this warm summer evening and are pampered. 😍 Flambéed beef, sesame-crusted tuna, children's spaghetti and beef tagliatelle. The charming gentlemen serve us extremely quickly and in a friendly, genuinely friendly manner. We came twice during our 4-day visit to Berlin and would love to come back. Attention: take cash.

We really enjoyed it here! Without a reservation, a table was prepared for us as a group of four and we were served very well. Attentive and charming, we were able to enjoy a perfect dinner, with reasonable portions and deliciously prepared, despite the European Football Championship broadcast. I'd love to come back!!

We found the Cucina Italiana-Trattoria Toscana very inviting. We sat outside and ate antipasti, side salad and lamb fillet in red wine sauce. The food, especially the lamb, tasted excellent, and there was also a limoncello from the house or alternatively a grappa. We recommend.

Very nice restaurant in Prenzlauer Berg, food very tasty, service very attentive. The only point of criticism is that no EC card payment is possible, there is no mention of anything, neither in the menu nor from the staff. Which led to a problem during a long evening with my friends: we had to get cash from the ATM for a high fee.

Unfortunately it's not as tasty as it once was. Pizza with white sauce simply had no sauce at all. Ingredient quality dropped significantly. This was the third negative visit and our last. Service was super unfriendly and that was also different. We had an additional €2 on our receipt for other food, probably for bread and olives that we didn't even get. The cheapest drink on the menu is an alcoholic one for €4. Apple juice paragraph doesn't matter.

Impeccable food and atmosphere - which includes a hand written menu! The portions are excellent - very well served pasta and wine. Would definitely go back, even taking forever to make our orders. The place lacks staff. If you want to eat here, make sure you have a reservation. Unfortunately I forgot my thermic bottle there and couldn’t talk to anyone in the place to keep it safe for me until I get back to Berlin…

God mad (pasta) men et minus at de ikke tager mod kortbetaling. Det sidste kostede en længere gåtur for at finde en ATM plus et urimeligt hævegebyr. Det forstyrrede en ellers god oplevelse. Et råd til restauranten kan være at gøre opmærksom på det inden kunderne sætter sig.

Ein Kellner hat dort eindeutig seinen Job verfehlt. Ein sehr unfreundlicher Mensch, der insbesondere Familien abweist. Das Essen ist allerdings phantastisch. Falls also der Koch ein eigenes Restaurant eröffnet mit freundlichen Personal, dann unbedingt publik machen;-)

Seit einigen Jahren treffe ich mich hier mit meinen Freundinnen 1-2 im Jahr. Wir sind immer eine größere Runde. Und wir verbringen jedes Mal einen wundeebaren Abend hier; mit schmackhaften Essen, tollen Wein und sehr netten Gastgebern.

Leider sehr unfreundlicher Service. Pampig Ansprache, gedrängelt um zu bestellen, genervte Blicke. Italienische Küche - Fehlanzeige. Mein Fischgericht war eher Ostseestyle in Sahnesoße und Kräutermischung. Erstes und letztes mal da.

Отличное заведение с приятной атмосферой! Моя паста и десерт были просто волшебными. Размер порции тоже впечатляет. Муж кушал рыбный суп, для него он был немного солоноватым. Сервис очень приятный — сотрудники дружелюбные и очень итальянские, на мой взгляд. Нас угостили оливками с хлебушком, а в финале предложили попробовать лимончелло, но мы были уже очень наевшиеся 😄 Обязательно вернусь в тратторию с друзьями. Важно: берите наличные, оплаты картой нет.

Großartiger Kellner, sehr schönes Ambiente Dieses Restaurant ist bei mir nun als „Favorit“ eingespeichert.

Der Kellner hat uns direkt sehr nett empfangen. Wir wurden schnell bedient und auf das Essen mussten wir jeweils nicht lange warten. Das Essen war wirklich lecker! Vor allem Tiramius und Panna Cotta zum Nachtisch waren noch mal super 👍🏼 Empfehlenswert 🙈

Super Italiener!!! Lecker Essen, authentische Küche und toller Service!!!

Over all ein sehr solides italienisches Restaurant. Sehr zu empfehlen sind die Tagliatelle mit Steinpilzen, Carpaccio und Trüffel, fand ich wirklich sehr lecker. Das Ambiente fand ich ganz nett. Für meinen Geschmack war es etwas laut und relativ eng, zumindest wenn das Restaurant gut befüllt ist.

Tolles Essen, nette Bedienung…. Etwas eng,…. Macht aber auch den Charme dieses Restaurant aus … Berlin heißt : Trattoria Toscana…. Muss dann sein. :)))

Wir haben spontan einen Tisch fuer 7 bekommen. Es war gut besucht. Essen war ok, Service kam es drauf an, wer bediente. Der eine Kellner hatte scheinbar nicht sehr viel Interesse an uns. Wir waren mit Kindern da & es musste mehrfach nach einem Malbuch gefragt werden. Essen an sich war ok, aber nichts ueberraengendes. Aber was garnicht geht ist, dass Essen weggeworfen wird und in der Kueche sortiert wird, obwohl man ausdruecklich sagt, was man eingepackt haben moechte. Egal ob es fuer jemanden noch “essbar” aussieht oder nicht. Auch wenn da ein Pizzastueck angeknabbert ist(weil Kinder dabei waren), ist das nicht die Entscheidung der Bedienung die bezahlte Ware wegzuwerfen. Deshalb gibts auch Sterne Abzug. Finde das unnoemglich.
