Undoubtedly the best Italian restaurant in town. You're not just a customer here, you're a friend. The food is impeccable and the atmosphere perfect. Great wines. I'll definitely be back.

Made a reservation for dinner and when I got there my reservation was not honored. The waiter wasn’t even polite about it. I would not recommend this place.

Funny: The waiters start off speaking Italian, but when you speak Italian to them, they switch to German. Too expensive for the menu offered, but the wines are very good.

We had the best sea wolf, the best vittelo tonnato, and the best sole we've ever eaten. Along with that, we had wonderful wines and unbeatable service. When we had questions about the wine, the waiter proved to be extremely competent, something you don't often find even in upscale Berlin restaurants. One final criticism: dessert doesn't seem to be the chefs' focus. The crème caramel is much better, and my rather stale-looking almond cake with amaretto cherries and cassata ice cream was a disappointment, especially since the ice cream was 95% chocolate. It was carelessly sliced ​​from the slice. Nevertheless, the restaurant is a truly wonderful discovery and definitely highly recommended.

The room has a strange smell when you enter. The stuff apparently overwhelmed and stress out so quite unfriendly. I ordered a fish dish which composed of fish, baby squid and mussels. The dish arrived without any squid and after I complained the waiter replied in a very annoyed way that he passed it to the kitchen but he cannot do anything without it. The taste was quite good though. But I will never come back

Our meal got off to a wrong start when I asked a question about the truffle fettuccine, and was met with arrogance by the waiter ("we do not offer menus with pictures"). No bread plates provided for the bread. The pasta while truffle flavored presumably with truffle oil, the truffle flakes were flavorless. I was left questioning what was placed on the pasta. The pasta was fresh and well prepared, however. The veal osso bucco was bland. Our overall experience was noteworthy only because the blandness of the food perfectly matched the surly service received. I would not return or recommend this restaurant.

Had dinner tonight. Waited 30 min for the entree after finishing appetizer. Asked them to check with the kitchen, and was told they would come out soon. But kept on waiting. Something must have gone wrong. If they had apologized, we would have forgiven, but there was no apologies for what happened. Food quality was OK, but price was way over priced. Anyone who is reading this review, go to Ja Niko Ja, a Greek restaurant 200m away, and you will really know what good quality food, great service and reasonable prices mean.

Avoid the truffle spaghetti, which is seriously lacking in truffle and therefore flavor. Very disappointing for a dish costing over €40.

There were four of us. While taking an evening stroll, we randomly decided we wanted to eat there. A glass of beer cost 0.37 euros. We paid 170.90 euros for four people. We think it was a rip-off. The price/performance ratio is not justified. For us vacationers, this is a rip-off. We were shocked.

As a Greek with a love for good food I can guarantee that this restaurant serves not only delicious dishes- but also traditional Italian food. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the food and everything was more than satisfactory!

I visited this Italian restaurant for dinner before the Berlin Marathon and was impressed to see they offered a special menu tailored for the event. My friend chose the pasta with mushrooms and couldn’t stop raving about how perfectly cooked it was. I ordered the salmon with lentils and a side of mashed potatoes, and it was genuinely delicious—flavorful and fresh. One thing to note: the salmon is prepared medium rare to medium by default, so if you prefer it well done, just let them know in advance. Overall, a great dining experience that’s perfect for carb-loading before the big race.

Great atmosphere, the food was delicious, I will definitely come back again. They serve a delicious dessert. The sweetness was just right, which was the cherry on the cake... the drink was cold, just the way I like it. A cozy and sophisticated atmosphere in a great location in Berlin.

We are/were in town for the cup final. For dinner, we stopped at the Sorisso Ristorante and enjoyed the family-run atmosphere, the good wine, and the exquisite food. We finished with an outstanding four-course meal with a matching bottle of wine and other drinks. The service was truly fantastic. It's rare to experience such attentiveness these days. We were able to experience the humanity and loyalty to service, as well as the closeness to the guest, firsthand, during a pleasant conversation. We would therefore like to express our sincere gratitude once again for the hospitality and send our warmest regards to la Familia (including the extended team as a family). Best regards from the one who never reviews. May one brother be pleased that the other brother is so pleased with this review!

Delicious and friendly. It wasn't a special taste, but it was nice that everyone was friendly. I ordered a single menu and was given an amuse bouche. The taste is average but it feels good.

After a long last day of our trip to Berlin we made a stop at Sorrio to eat dinner. The reception of the staff was warm and welcoming and so was the service during the evening. The food and desert was also outstanding; this restaurant became my favorite one on our 4 day visit in Berlin. If you're in the area, make sure to stop by for dinner.

Good, high-quality food, but I think the prices are a bit high for the really fine, but really small starter (Vitello Tonnato) and the plate of Amatriciana pasta for around €20 each (one star deducted for that). What surprised me (1 star deducted for that): in the wine list the open wines are shown with prices for 0.1L glasses (6€) and I guessed that too and actually ordered 0.1. While I was still happy that the 0.1 glasses were generously filled, I received the bill for 0.2 glasses for €12 each. I found that to be quite exaggerated. Update: the operators are trying to delete critical reviews on Google. I don't understand why people think this is necessary, because the cuisine is really good - that's why I deducted more stars.

Fairly average experience. The Tortelli di barbabietola dish was very successful. On the other hand, for the rest it is disappointing: 1) High prices especially for water which is clearly at an abusive price, bottle of less than 1L at €9! 2) Unpleasant behavior of the server: - Comes back to me several times to ask me if I chose my dish (I should point out that it was 2:30 a.m. before closing!) - I tell him several times that I want classic/normal water and he deliberately does not understand by asking “carbonated or not carbonated” 3) Restaurant almost deserted on a Sunday evening so no atmosphere.

Been a regular there for years! For me the best Italian in Berlin! Best quality and very good wine selection. Of course quality has its price. But only the best products are bought here, for example from Frischeparadies, and you can taste it too.

This is a very good and very nice Italian restaurant. The food is classical but excellent. The prices are very fair for the quality. There's a fantastic wine list with very good affordable wines (and a lot of amazing unaffordable ones 😅) It's quiet and elegant in an old world way. I went one night and it was so good I went back again the following night. The service is absolutely perfect.

This was an absolutely wonderful sing g experience. The food was beyond phenomenal, the service was just perfect, and the overall atmosphere is wonderful. We had the truffle pasta and the arugula pesto pasta. I can’t find the words to describe how good both of these dishes were. The waiter was wonderful. I wish I had his name to mention specifically how good he was. I’d give more stars if I was allowed.

Estábamos buscando un buen restaurante, ya que estábamos en la zona y Il SORRISO tenía comentarios decentes. Desafortunadamente no estuvo a la altura de las calificaciones o reseñas que habíamos leído. El restaurante no estaba ocupado para un sábado por la noche, pero estábamos sentados en una esquina escondida. Nuestro servidor no era muy amable y casi volcó los menús en nuestra mesa. Tomó nuestro pedido de bebidas y regresó con una cesta de pan, que no sabía muy fresco. Nuestros negronis eran bastante pequeños por el precio pero bien hecho. El menú tenía una variedad de opciones, pero en el lado caro. Mi marido no podía decidirse y preguntó a nuestro servidor lo que recomendaría? Su respuesta - ¡No lo sé! Pedí los ravioles de salmón y mi marido pidió las gambas con espaguetis y aceite de oliva. Nuestra comida llegó y yo estaba agradecido de que teníamos el pan! ¡Tres raviolis en un plato hondo por 39€! ¡El de mi marido no fue menos impresionante! 3 gambas reales con un remolino de espaguetis (tampoco caseros) por 47€ . Después de que nos quitaron los platos, nuestro servidor nos dejó sentados allí durante al menos 15 minutos sin oferta de postre o café. Mientras esperábamos llegó una mesa más grande que parecía ser conocida por el personal. ¡Cuando llegó su cesta de pan, iba acompañada de una botella de aceite de oliva! Lo que esperaría en un italiano auténtico. No lamento pagar por la comida excepcional, pero era promedio y el servicio no era genial. Cuando la factura llegó, tenía en letras grandes en la parte inferior del recibo ‘propina no incluida’!

We reserved a table yesterday and were looking forward to a lovely evening. Unfortunately, our joy was thoroughly spoiled. The waiter who served us, a tall gentleman with a bald head and a mustache, was arrogant and unfriendly. He doesn't seem to like children at all. There is no children's menu. We would also have been happy with a small pasta dish as a suggestion. The waiter was so unfriendly that we got up and left the restaurant. Anyone who employs such waiters doesn't seem to need money. We didn't feel welcome at all

Not great for the price The spaghetti vongole was not seasoned properly, and the ravioli had a fishy smell. The cream pasta was the best. Steak is just so-so The wine list is quite extensive.

Tengo muchas alergias, pero estas se trataron bien. Se puede recomendar encarecidamente el minestrone verde, aparentemente el pan es delicioso. Personal amable y alegre. Realmente genial con mi hijo que tiene problemas de aprendizaje.

The food tasted good. We had two pasta dishes. Not exactly cheap for €21.00 or €22.00, but still okay. I find a glass of red wine (0.1l) for €7.00 to be overpriced. The crowning glory was the greeting from the kitchen (5 white beans, some canned tuna and two onion rings). The taste was fine. O. But if the amount of €8.00 is shown on the invoice, I think it's a rip-off. Since when do you have to pay for something in Germany that you didn't even order? It's a shame actually. In the future, when I receive greetings from the kitchen, I will ask whether this greeting will cost me anything. I'm glad that this place doesn't also charge copperto. We'll let zns get ripped off somewhere else in the future.

Beautiful sitting area with great service, especially the handsome guy with tattoos. Food was good, but it crossed that line of being more fancy than appetizing. Also the drinks menu suffered in the same way. Was nice to try but wouldn't go again if I'm honest.

Der Inhaber persönlich und sein aufmerksames Service Team kümmern sich um alle Gäste mit Bravour. Die monatlich wechselnde Empfehlungskarte sowie die Weinkarte mit Raritäten bestückt sollten auf jeden beachtet werden.

The food wasn't worth the money. In the carbonara (German version with cream - that alone is a shame) there were only a few pieces of ham. It wasn't seasoned either. Price-performance absolute impudence.

The restaurant was recommended by the Hotel Palace concierge and we were looking forward to the meal. Unfortunately we were disappointed because the decor was the only really positive thing about the whole evening. The demeanor of the staff was just about correct. Unfortunately there was no sign of friendliness and hospitality. Was it because we were walk-in customers? Isn't it good to avoid alcohol? I don't know it. We felt unwelcome and dismissed and thank God this is the only time we had to have that feeling in Berlin. Now about the food. The minestrone was okay, nothing more. Rather mediocre and colorless. The grilled scampi was slightly charred, detracting from the tender meat. I would have been happy with a nice sauce. Salmon and monkfish were without complaint but unfortunately also without pizzazz or sophistication. The dessert (tiramisu and pannacotta) were also okay. In summary, in our opinion this restaurant cannot play in the top league. It probably still lives from the splendor of earlier times. I would recommend a little more appreciation to the staff (even towards non-regular customers).

Amazing service! we came 30min to closing and they still accommodated us which was nice. Food was good! Ordered steak with balsamic reduction, unfortunately, though it didn’t come with potatoes which would have completed the meal for me. The ravioli noodle was good but lacked what I was looking for, felt it needed to be simpler with mushroom and cheese only, was too fishy for my liking as it overpowered the meal. Overall not a bad place to try but a bit pricey.
