The staff got really shirty about us using pepper (there was a table full of pepper grinders). It was bizarre.

Everything we ordered was delicious! Anchovy pizza, lasagna, chicken salad, liver salad, bruschetta 😍🇮🇹 and they even treated us to limoncello at the end. We loved everything! We highly recommend it!

Tourist trap! Don't go there under any circumstances! My lamb chops took an hour to arrive, and when they finally arrived, they were old and tough as rubber. It was extremely poor quality and the price was outrageously high at €34. The worst Italian restaurant I've seen in Berlin so far!

Beautiful location near the subway station. The food was delicious, and the staff, despite the busy schedule, were friendly and attentive. It's probably a good idea to reserve a table, especially on weekends. There were plenty of tables inside and outside. We'll be back!

Service was ok, but not very attentive. I ordered a lasagna and it was cold, literally cold. I asked to get it warm and they didn’t like I asked. It took quite long to get our food and some plates were missing. It was very busy, as it was a day before the Berlin marathon, which I can also understand was overwhelming for them.

There's a marathon in Berlin this weekend, and the restaurant is packed. The gentleman at the door is very friendly and assigns seats; everything is very relaxed. The service staff is extremely hard-working and friendly, as always. We love coming here.

Awesome food. Bad service. After being seated 30 minutes and asking six times to have someone provide a menu. Have to stand in front of manager for 10 minutes to get a bill. Table next to me had the same issue. Great food. Please fix your service. Several mistakes misses also made by waiter.

I ate at the restaurant, and everything was very good, except for the waiter, who kept making bad jokes while we were ordering. When I finally wanted to pay, he said you couldn't pay by card because the card payment machine was apparently broken. I wouldn't recommend it! Everything, except the food, was substandard.

Unfortunately, the lasagna was only lukewarm. It wasn't served fresh from the oven, but was obviously poorly reheated. The pizza tasted good. Unfortunately, the pizza knife they brought afterward was blunt.

The carbonara was okay, but not carbonara. The sauce wasn't creamy, but rather oily with flakes of Parmesan cheese. And the bacon had a distinct smoky flavor, so it couldn't have been guanciale or pancetta. I've eaten carbonara many times, whether in Rome, Naples, Hamburg, or at home when I make it myself. But this wasn't a good carbonara here, I'm sorry to say. There was no binding in the egg and Parmesan sauce, and the bacon didn't taste of guanciale or pancetta. The servers were nice, and the prices were good, though. The portion was also quite large, so you'll be filling. We were served a salad first – unfortunately, the pasta arrived a minute later. So that didn't make much sense. Overall, a nice atmosphere with good servers, but not Italian carbonara.

The Lungomare restaurant offers excellent Italian cuisine. The spaghetti and pizzas are delicious. The location is recommended, with a beautiful view.

Food was okay, not upto the mark. Plus they don’t accept the card and do not tell you in advance. Do not know how they have all those 5 star reviews.

Highly recommended. There were four of us. Each of us ordered a different dish. Each one was more delicious than the last. The waitress was very personable, friendly, always attentive, and always in a radiant mood whenever she was at our table 😁 The antipasti starter was incredibly good 🤩

Delicious pasta dishes, good and very large pizzas, and an equally extensive selection of meat and fish dishes. A good central location in the city center, close to Checkpoint Charlie.

The Italian restaurant Lungomare is located in Berlin Mitte, in the Checkpoint Plaza apartment building. It's a typical Italian restaurant with typical Italian dishes. Lungomare started about 20 years ago with a very small dining room. Then another dining room was added. After that, there was another room, which is primarily used as a private area for celebrations. They offer delicious desserts. The prices are relatively reasonable for this location. What I find unfortunate is that the menu (feels like) hasn't changed in 15-20 years. The staff is friendly and service-oriented. There's also an outdoor area.

Food okay. Waiter was pleasant except … only when I asked for the wine list (and therefore looked like I was going to spend more money) was I told by another more senior staff member that their card machine wasn’t working and I would have to pay cash. That would be okay except that I then watched four other tables paying by card. I asked to do the same and had a ten minute pretence of the card machine not working and I had to get properly angry before it suddenly worked. I felt a little sorry for some of the staff, who are all required to play the game. But sad that it ruined an otherwise nice evening.

I would especially like to highlight the service: incredibly friendly, attentive, and authentically warm, without seeming forced. You feel welcome from the very first moment. If you want to enjoy top-quality Italian cuisine, this is the place for you. I will definitely be back!

Overpriced wine and a very long waiting time for food. They sell a 9€ price worth Vernaccia Di San Giminiano for 39€, which is considered very overpriced even for good restaurants. The waiting time for food is extremely long, even for the bread basket you have to wait a very long time. Overall a nice place, but I don't recommend because of the extra long waiting time and the ridiculous wine prices.

The prawns in pasta were smelling awful, they were not fresh at all. Once we told the waiter about the smell, HE TOOK THE PLATES FROM US, so that there’s no proofs about the prawns smelling bad and told us that IT WAS DELIVERED TODAY, so not possible it is not fresh. Never coming again and never recommend anyone to visit this restaurant.

I came here spontaneously on a business trip. I got a table right away. The waiter was friendly, but also eager to clear the table. A bit disorganized at times. One waiter asked what I was having and then laid down cutlery. During the meal, another waiter came and said, "I'll get you a different knife for the pizza." First, bread and oil. That was good. Pizza was delicious. The base was nice and thin, but the crust was relatively thick. Decently topped and tasty. I recommend it!

We were there as a larger group – with a reservation. They were well prepared for us with sufficient staff. Orders were taken and the food was prepared quickly. My "Insalata Pollo" was a bit thin for €16.90, however: various leaf salads, two shaved slices of cucumber, two pieces of tomato, and six strips of (tasty) chicken breast. That was it... – no peppers, no onions, no carrots, no olives – nothing. The price was a bit too high for that, in my opinion. Overall, though, a worthwhile visit.

Unfortunately it is too warm inside the restaurant and the service is not particularly friendly.

We needed a place to eat last minute for a large group and they were able to accommodate us. Host was attentive although the server got our foods mixed up several times. Some food items were a miss, some were a hit. I ordered medium well, and it was completely pink and bloody inside. I was however very impressed with their wine collection, several of which had worn awards and were largely exclusive.

As of my Italian Cuisine experience in general, here is almost the best taste I have ever had, but compare to the other Italian restaurants in Berlin, here is the best in town I guess. If you have a chance to once to Berlin, you should visit for this taste and a great service with a great staff.
