The food was very tasty. Large selection. The atmosphere is okay, not very cozy, but spacious and friendly.

We ordered tortellini to take away. I was really happy, wanted tortellini and was really hungry. When I opened the can at home I almost lost faith. There were a total of 6 (!) tortellini in the can and that for a whopping €16. Really a bottomless impudence. Also completely over salted. I was really close to going back and returning the stuff. Next time we'll have a kebab. There's more of it.

The ambience is modern, tidy, chairs without upholstery. My calzone was just warm not hot. Service friendly but only moderately attentive. Reacted to criticism in a friendly and accommodating manner.

This was the second time I was in the restaurant with my friend. This time a table was reserved in my name. When you entered, however, you weren't asked whether you had a reservation. We therefore had a free choice of table. Coincidentally, the table behind us was reserved for two people.. When I asked after paying, it was confirmed that the table was reserved for me. Please, at restaurants where you can make reservations, always ask the guests whether they have reserved a table or not, so that such rookie mistakes are not repeated. The dishes were good, but not so good that you would want to order the same thing next time. Service was basically okay. Nice service. Co-worker was apparently new, but a co-worker was always with her.

The service came across as unsympathetic, somehow listless. However, the one who cashed in was super nice. Eating spaghetti carbonara was pretty tasteless. I had to put a lot of salt and pepper on it as well as sprinkled cheese until it tasted good and there wasn't any toasted bread either. It's a shame, I was hoping for more, but look for yourself, it's just my opinion.

Only recommended to guests who have ZERO expectations of good food. Maybe you'll get full. But at a very low level. Has nothing to do with Italian cuisine. Ready-made spaghetti Bolognese from Rewe “best choice” tastes even better!

We didn't have high expectations since it's a well-known chain, but the positive reviews made us curious. Unfortunately, the hope of a surprisingly good experience was not fulfilled - the food tasted more like it came from a diner than authentic Italian cuisine. The staff consisted mostly of students who were friendly but seemed clearly inexperienced. It would be desirable to have at least one experienced adult on site to better manage operations and optimize service. Given the good reviews, I'm a little surprised about the culinary landscape in Wellingsbüttel. Unfortunately for us, the food here was rather disappointing and did not live up to the expectations raised by the reviews.

Der Lärmpegel war unerträglich. Es wurde anscheinend ein Kindergeburtstag gefeiert, bei dem die Kinder (mindestens 12 Stück) das Restaurant wie eine Freizeiteinrichtung genutzt haben. Es wurde getobt und geschrien wie auf einem Spielplatz. Gesessen hat niemand, auch nicht die erwachsenen Begleitpersonen. Diese haben mit Getränken im Hauptgang gestanden und sahen keinen Handlungsbedarf. Das Servicepersonal hat diesbezüglich auch nichts unternommen. Ich möchte nochmal klarstellen, dass ich im „Mama“ kein romantisch, ruhiges Ambiente erwarte. Wir selbst waren mit 3 Kindern im Alter von 10-14 Jahren vor Ort. Das aber ein Restaurant wie ein gemieteter Raum zur freien Entfaltung genutzt wird, fand ich befremdlich. Man konnte keinen normal gesprochenen Satz am Tisch austauschen, sondern musste sich gegenseitig „zubrüllen“. Wir werden das Restaurant nicht mehr besuchen und auch keinem einen Besuch empfehlen. Schade….

The mama trattoria restaurant opened at exactly 12 p.m.; I stood in front of the door and was greeted in a friendly and unobtrusive manner. I decided to have lunch there and the friendly waitress gave me good advice about where the most pleasant places were. Further back there is even a fantastically beautiful outdoor area; I sat inside, but the fresh air was wonderful. The food is excellent, the waitress is very nice, the atmosphere is very pleasant, and I will definitely eat there again with friends.

Sitzplätze sind sehr ungewöhnlich. Für junge Leute eher, Hocker also keine Lehne. Kaffee gab es zum späten Abend nicht mehr,was sehr schade war. Essen war sehr gut.

Mama Welligsbüttel was convincing with his concept, although there is still room for improvement in practice. The antipasti was impeccably and freshly prepared. But the price is excessive given the small quantity. The Four Seasons pizza with a strange topping and the thick zucchini slices in contrast to an ultra-thin base. An Italian would hardly call this pizza, whether from Rome or Naples with their very different pizza bases. The service was friendly, but hardly trained, unfortunately this was an isolated case. The environment is very loud. Unfortunately it was already too cool on the terrace.

It was extremely warm, the ambience was not classic Italian. Very modern. Very nice service. Starters top. The prawns were discount products with no taste, the canned tuna, the pizza dough was ok. The sophistication of spices was saved, the topping was good average.

Wir haben draußen, hinter dem Haus gesessen. Man hört dort nichts von der vielbefahrenen Straße. Das Essen war lecker und der Service aufmerksam. Gerne wieder!

In my opinion, mama is an insider tip in Hamburg. The pizzas are thin and crispy and generously topped. Above all, they taste heavenly. A spot in the beautiful, quiet garden area is a must in warm weather.

You can definitely see that something has happened in Wellingsbüttel. Good service, great ambience, delicious food! I will definitely come back.

I have known Mama Trattoria since 2019 and worked in the kitchen myself back then. The cuisine is really good. Unfortunately the service has deteriorated significantly. Today we were there around 8:00 p.m. and asked a waiter to sit outside. After we waited 20 minutes, the waiter came out, served the table next to us and asked: "Don't you have any tickets yet?". After another 15 minutes of waiting, without drinks or bread, we got tired of it and got up and left. The waiter simply said goodbye to us with a “bye”. I recommend just getting the food to go or skipping it altogether. Wellingsbüttel has much more to offer.

Wieder einmal wurden wir nicht enttäuscht. Personal freundlich.

Nette Bedienung, geht auf individuelle Wünsche ein. Vielversprechende Speisekarte. Qualität des Essens aber mäßig. Für den Preis eher kleine Portionen. Die Tiefkühltruhe war bei unserem Besuch kaputt und es konnte für die Kinder kein Dessert bestellt werden. Hätte man vorher deklarieren können. Ambiente laut und hektisch, Kantinencharakter. Für einen Drink mit Freunden oder schnelles Essen mit Kindern ok. Hochwertig ist es aber nicht.

Wir haben zwar nicht den bestätigten Tisch bekommen, aber trotzdem mit 5 Personen gemütlich gesessen. Die bestellten Gerichte waren wieder vorzüglich !

Der Service hat leider oft nicht alles im Blick und es dauert zum Teil ewig bis mal wieder jemand kommt. Das Bestellen eines Nachtischs hat dadurch extrem lange gedauert. Aus diesem Grund saßen wir auch lange Zeit vor unseren leeren Tellern. Wir saßen draußen und mussten dann irgendwann jemanden von drinnen holen, damit wir etwas bestellen konnten.

It's a shame that, as a couple who seem to be dressed too casually, you are ignored for 5 minutes despite entering the store and are neither spoken to nor given a glance. We then ran away and were warmly welcomed somewhere else. Unfortunately, such an experience ruins what has been a really good meal. Two less loyal customers from the neighborhood.

In itself a nice, child-friendly restaurant, but be careful of the low-carb noodles. Tiny portion of overcooked zucchini floating in oil...

A very family friendly restaurant. Our three children love it and want to eat here again and again. The children's meals are very good and great value for money! The service was very nice including pens and coloring pages for the children. And there is always something delicious on the menu for us adults too. In summer, the terrace with garden is a real place to feel good.

I regularly come here to eat with my disabled resident. It is important to my residents and me that warm and attentive service takes care of us. Since this topic has unfortunately become much less common in this society, I'm almost shocked that something like this restaurant still exists. Not only is the food excellent, the service is too. However, I noticed that despite this unusual treatment, people complain loudly here. They leave behind a miserable condition that cannot be expressed in words. These people still have a lot to learn. Thank you mama trattoria for being here. At some point these people will understand it too!!!!!

It was delicious. Tomato-based pasta is exquisite. Good fresh feeling. There are many types of pizza.

Essen war sehr gut, aber wir mussten über eine halbe Stunde auf die Rechnung warten, obwohl wir mehrfach bescheid gegeben haben.

Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, da gibt es nichts zu meckern. Das Essen war OK, aber Preis-Leistung passt nicht ganz. Es war nicht viel los, aber trotzdem war es recht laut und nicht wirklich gemütlich. Und zu guter Letzt wurden wir quasi rausgeschmissen und das nicht gerade freundlich. Wir kommen definitiv nicht nochmal wieder!

Kinderfreundliches Restaurant. Da dürfen die Kleinen auch schon mal lauter werden! Aber sonst alles prima - Buntstifte und Malblätter bereits am Tisch! Essen war prima und kindgerecht!

Zuerst , das Personal ist sehr nett, die Räumlichkeiten sind ok , leider einwenig zu laut, Kantinen ähnlich. Das Essen ist nicht besonders , einfach und recht simpel gestaltet. Wer eine Pizza möchte sollte lieber in eine Pizzeria gehen. Die Pizzen die hier angeboten werden sind eher Flammkuchen. Hart wie Kekse und geschmacklos. Es ist halt eine Restaurantkette , mehr auch nicht.

Ein wahres Juwel in Hamburg Wellingsbüttel! Das Restaurant Mama Trattoria hat mich von Anfang bis Ende beeindruckt. Das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich und herzlich, was meinen Besuch zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis gemacht hat. Das Essen war einfach fantastisch! Die Spaghetti Bolognese waren perfekt zubereitet, jede Gabel war ein Genuss. Der Geschmack und die Frische der Zutaten haben meine Erwartungen übertroffen. Außerdem habe ich den Caesar Salat probiert, und er war köstlich! Die perfekte Mischung aus frischen knackigen Salatblättern, aromatischen Dressing und knusprigen Croutons – ein wahrer Gaumenschmaus. Die gemütliche Atmosphäre und das authentische Ambiente trugen dazu bei, dass mein Besuch hier wirklich ein Highlight war. Ich kann Mama Trattoria jedem empfehlen, der nach exzellentem Essen und einem herzlichen Service sucht. Ich werde definitiv wiederkommen!

Empfang war nicht so wie es sein sollte. nachdem wir eine Platz gefunden haben, Mussten wir feststellen das die Plätze noch dreckig und zum Teil noch benutztes Geschirr herum lag, obwohl da bestimmt seit 20 min. Kein Gast mehr saß.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal in der trattoria mama und haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Essen war reichlich und ausgesprochen lecker 😋. Die Bedienung hat einen guten Job gemacht und die Atmosphäre im Lokal war sehr gut 👍. Wir werden sicher bald wieder zu mama kommen.

Es war so GUT und entspannt, dass wir 21uhr55, freundlich darauf hingewiesen wurde, dass gleich geschlossen wird. Es war sehr nett und wird sicher wiederholt.

Mega nettes Personal und extrem leckeres Netten ich kann das nur jedem Empfehlen. Wir sind zwei Tage vorher aus Italien gekommen. Und ich muss sagen das essen ist genauso lecker wie aus Palermo.

Das MAMA in Wellingsbüttel mag ich besonders gern. Das Ambiente ist schön, das Personal ist immer aufmerksam und freundlich und das Essen ist immer sehr lecker. Etwas schade finde ich, dass das Essen mittlerweile teilweise wirklich teuer geworden ist.

Fui a cenar con un amigo. Comida estaba rica, personal atento y amable. Solo que los lavabos estaban lejos, abajo en sótano (como muchos en restaurantes alemanes!) , pero había ascensor....

Tolles Ambiente, aber Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht. Die Gerichte sind teilweise unvollständig und zu klein. Das Personal ein bisschen überheblich und somit ist auch die Servicequalität ausbaufähig.

Ich wurde herzlichst empfangen, wurde umfänglich bedient und habe das Essen sowie Ambiente genossen.

Wirklich sehr leckeres Essen im modernen und hellen Ambiente, auch das Personal war freundlich, nur war es auf Grund der Raumgröße ein wenig laut. Parkmöglichkeiten waren etwas schwierig, dafür ist die S-Bahn-Haltestelle nicht weit entfernt.

Wir waren hier am Abend, ohne Reservierung einen Tisch erhalten um 18 Uhr. Wir hatten alle Pizza, ich mit Dinkelmehl, Schmand, Salat, etc. Hähnchen. Die Kombination war sehr gut und interessant zugleich. Kann ich nur empfehlen. Bedienung freundlich und schnell.
