Great good, great service! I recommend.

A really nice, cozy restaurant in which absolutely nice and helpful employees ensure the well-being of the guests. The memory card is small and the dishes taste very good. The prices are adjusted to today's times.

At first we didn't want to go because of the bad reviews, but then we decided to go. The food was really good (pizza as well as bruschetta and vitello tonnato), but the room/atmosphere is quite loud and all the tables and chairs are quite close together. Still highly recommended to go there! :-)

The two of us ate pizza here. The food is quite expensive for what you get. The vegetarian pizza was very sparsely topped with some red onion, mushrooms, peppers and zucchini. We noticed that some tables received bread and dip in advance, which is probably distributed according to the order quantity, we didn't get anything, which is a big minus. The atmosphere is not particularly nice, the restaurant was almost completely empty, but we were only allowed to sit at the small tables. Overall the food was okay but for the price you could have expected more. The service was also OK but not exceptional. You can forego the view of the Elbphilharmonie. We won't come again.

Wir waren zu fünft hier zum Mittagessen. Das modern eingerichtete, luftig und helle Restaurant war ausgebucht ( was ja schon eine indizielle Bedeutung hat). Es liegt in bester Lage für touristische Tagesbesuche in der Speicherstadt ( u.a. Miniatur Wunderland, Speicherstadt Museum und Gewürzmuseum in kurzer fußläufiger Entfernung). Relativ kleine -aber feine- Speisenkarte sowie eine zusätzliche separate Karte mit ca. 10 Mittagstischgerichten für jeden Geschmack. Wir haben 4 unterschiedliche Gerichte bestellt und die einhellige Meinung war : sehr lecker, sehr schnell serviert und preiswert. "Normales" Getränkesortiment ( einschl. Bier vom Fass und sehr leckerem Grappa). Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die Servicekräfte. Schnell, sehr bemühlt, sehr freundlich und wenn´s passt auch humorig. Moderate Preise. Eine echte Empfehlung!! Grazie mille !! So es dem HerrGott gefällt, werden wir gern hierher zurückkommen!!

We only came here by chance and were completely satisfied. The service was very quick and extremely friendly. The food was very tasty and didn't take long. The spaghetti carbonara was plentiful and very good.

The food was okay, not the best Italian I've ever had but tasty and big portions. The service on the other hand was horrendous. Server was rude, at our initial greeting upon finding out that we were not German he told us that we must pay in cash as the card machine was broken, we later watched as everyone else paid with card and after asking him about this he still insisted that we pay with cash. He placed the hot dishes in our hands instead of on the table and when we were ready to pay he tried to force a tip out of us and was extremely unpleasant the entire time. The food isn't worth the bad service.

Food was okay. Was put off the place when the manager was rude and tried to force us to tip and became very disrespectful after we didn't (we obviously were not gonna tip if the servers are rude). Another weird thing was the manager told us cash only. Even though we saw 2 other customers paying by card. Again we felt that he was just pushing us to tip by paying cash.

Perfect food. Simple and cozy place, had a pizza and pasta with my husband, and then a delicious tiramisu, we loved the food.

Freundliche Atmosphäre, freundliches und sehr gut gelauntes Personal mit italienischem Flair für Groß und Klein sowie Alt und Jung. Eine echte Alternative für Nicht-Fisch-Esser ! Sehr schmackhafte Gerichte, die auch optisch sehr ansprechend sind - das Auge ist ja schließlich mit und erfreut sich ebenfalls an den italienischen Berühmtheiten aus Film Noir Zeiten, die die Wände zieren. Einfach nur „Guten Apetitt“ bei normalen Preisen !

Not friendly in terms of misgendering. This happened several times, even when my partner corrected the server. Also, we waited for a longer time to be able to pay, even though restaurant wasn’t super busy. One pizza was great, the other okay. Atmosphere okay, nice that they have outdoor seating and prime location.

You got a place quickly. We were 2 adults and 2 teenagers and we were served the wrong food. When I pointed out that I didn't order this, the service person wanted to discuss it with me. When she realized that she wasn't getting anywhere, she sent her boss🤦😡 there was no apology or anything. The prices are overpriced for the size of the portions. Our food wasn't served at the same time, my noodles came much, much, much later and that Portions were for 3 year olds. If I had to estimate, there were 100g - 150g of pasta on the plate, 1 asparagus chopped into small pieces and 1 mini tomato for 13€. My family's portions weren't any larger. Never again ! You spend around €75 to drink there and go on your tour hungry.

We came from the Elphi and were a bit hungry. Ciao Mamma was on the path and despite the construction site in front of the door, we found our way in. Unfortunately there were no children's pizzas, so there was a slight deduction in the rating. The pizzas are thin and crispy - exactly how they should be. They are bigger than the plates. So price-performance is completely okay. Highly recommended!

We came here after visiting the Elphi and felt very comfortable. The food was great - the pizza from the lunch menu was so big that at some point the three of us ate it. The pasta dishes were also really good, the service was in a good mood, and the prices were surprisingly normal for the location. Clear recommendation.

I wanted to eat in this restaurant, my wife asked for a children's chair and the waiter immediately told her "No children's chairs, no children's food" in an extremely unfriendly tone. Thank you for that, we definitely won't eat there!!! Absolutely not suitable for families !

Italian food was great. It has a hospitable and very polite manager.

We were visiting Hamburg. We thought, “Let’s go to Ciao Mamma and have a bite to eat.” The reception was okay. We sat down at the table outside and were immediately asked for drinks. We got these quickly. So everything is okay so far. We then placed our order and it came relatively quickly. The spaghetti carbonara was cold and not yet cooked through. The Caesar salad was very little for 14 euros - but tasted okay. The lasagne tasted good, but there was quite a lack of meat. The extra plate for a child costs 2 euros - cheeky. As we started to eat, the boss asked if my sister was single. She would be an option for his brother, who would arrive there shortly. Absolutely no one found it funny. He left for a moment, but then came back a minute later with a cookie. The child should eat a lotus cookie first instead of the noodles. Then we had 5 minutes of peace until he came back and texted us again. Eating in peace was apparently too much to ask. The table was cleared while some of us were still eating, which is definitely not appropriate. We paid just under 85 euros for 4 hearty dishes, which was too expensive in my opinion. Never again.

Sehr schöne Location, gut zu erreichen und mit bestem Blick auf die Elbphilharmonie. Angenehme Atmosphäre und gemütliches Ambiente. Überaus zuvorkommender und freundlicher Service. Köstliche italienische Gerichte und grandios leckere Pizza in allerlei Varianten. Ein absolutes Muss für jeden Pizzaliebhaber. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist schon in Anbetracht der Lage und der qualitativ guten Küche mehr als in Ordnung. Einfach ein klasse italienisches Restaurant. Wir kommen in jedem Fall das nächste Mal wieder !!!

The truth is that they are a little disrespectful. We went to eat at 1:52 and as they saw us they told us no, we couldn't eat there. These people have not yet learned to treat people well.

Attentive service, tasty food and not too expensive for the restaurant's location

We were there for lunch and the place was almost empty. 6 employees stood around bored and talked about their tips and their expectations. We were served half-heartedly. The food was mediocre and the place was dingy. There was dust, dirt and dead flies in every corner. The walls in the toilet are full of streaks and dust. The tables were clean. The highlight was when an employee went to the toilet without washing his hands. Thank you, we won't be coming back. Ciao mom!

The German/Turkish guy who looks like an Italian was great, very cool service. Tiramisu was delicious, but there's definitely something more that could be done. It was too watery for me, without alcohol. Otherwise highly recommended.

Very tasty food within sight of the Elbphilharmonie. The prices, considering the location, surprised us positively. Everything is perfectly fine and appropriate. After our visit to the Elbphilharmonie, we were able to see the Harry Potter play 🤗.

Pizza triefte vor lauter Fett, man konnte den Belag (Salami) nur sehen, aber nicht erschmecken...angeblich lag es an dem "guten original Käse" der auf der Pizza verwendet wurde..nur der Teigrand war knusprig...die Pizza ungeniessbar...mir wurde als Ersatz ein bunter Salat gebracht, berechnet wurde der volle Preis der viel teureren Pizza...Fazit: nie wieder....normal esse ich ziemlich alles, bin nicht empfindlich mit dem Essen...aber man kann auch nicht alles hinnehmen, schon gar nicht für den Preis

Absolutely catastrophic! I've honestly never had such a bad experience in a restaurant. Change requests within the order were mixed up/not accepted. When the waiter came to me with the pizza and I (kindly) wanted to take it from him due to lack of space, all I got was a cheeky “Don't be so greedy!” and no, that wasn't said jokingly. The bill was €37.40 for 2 pizzas and 2 small cokes, which in itself is a good price. However, I didn't want to leave a tip due to dissatisfaction. The waiter asked what he should enter and was told “€37.40”. The waiter made a typo and entered €31.40. Only then did he notice (despite being informed) that €6 was missing. He told us you can only pay with the card from €10 onwards (maybe he wanted to negotiate a tip). Since we didn't have any cash with us and had emphasized this several times, all of a sudden we were able to use the card! We also noticed that pizza to take away is not packaged in a normal box, but in aluminum foil. I don't think there's much more to say about it. The lady next to us at the table was also visibly disappointed. Quite a strange place. It's a shame that you have to have such a bad experience on a short trip to Hamburg!

The food was delicious. The service was a bit intrusive. Clearing up while others at the table are still eating is not an option. The Aperol Spritz was very good.

A restaurant that seems quite large from the outside but is a bit tight on space inside. The service was friendly and on point. Every table that became free was immediately cleared and tidied up and immediately occupied by guests. The food was super tasty.

Sehr fades, geschmackloses und fettiges Essen. Pampige Nudeln ohne Geschmck, sehr fettig. Den Belag auf der Pizza musste man suchen. Pizza triefte vor Fett. In der Nähe der Elbphilharmonie wohl eher Touristennepp. Auch bei Schutz vor Regen würde ich vorbei gehen.

Eat good. The service lied to us. Small food and drink orders were taken and confirmed. I got a large portion and had to pay for it.

Since I'm in a wheelchair, I couldn't eat there. Lots of stairs to the restaurant. Wanted to combine it with the Elbphilharmonie. A pity.

La comida no tiene nada especial pero el colmo es que se equivocaron en la comanda y nos pusieron un plato más caro y, pese a que nos lo cambiaron por el correcto, nos dejaron el precio del plato caro (4 euros más) y no del que habíamos pedido y nos comimos. Realmente triste, nos quejamos y dijeron que era lo que había en la máquina y adiós… no peleamos por 4 euros pero no volveremos nunca ni lo recomendamos a nadie.

Essen war sehr lecker & die Preise auch super. Je nachdem wo man sitzt kann man auch gut auf die Elphilharmonie schauen. Personal auch sehr freundlich.

Wir waren heute mit einer 21-köpfigen Gruppe und kleinem Budget vor Ort zum Mittagessen. Trotz der großen Gruppe wurde das Essen fast zeitgleich aufgetischt. Der Service war wirklich toll und zuvorkommend. Die Pizzen wurden am Tisch für jeden geschnitten der wollte, einfach top! Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl. Vielen Dank dafür!

Das Essen war sehr gut und frisch zubereitet. Der Service war ausgezeichnet sehr freundlich und das Essen hat schnell bekommen. Die Portionen waren aufkeden Fall groß genug und haben vom Preis verhältnis gepasst. Wir werden wieder kommen.

Wir wurden freundlich empfangen. Die Kellner waren freundlich und hatten immer einen Witz auf den Lippen. Das Essen kam schnell und war sehr lecker. Die Paste für mich genau richtig portioniert und die Pasta für meine Freundin zwar zu groß, aber auch von wirklich guter Qualität. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hat auf jeden Fall gestimmt.

Leckere Pizza, toller Service - hektisches, italienisches Ambiente. Wir waren zum Konzert in der Elbphilharmonie und das Restaurant war voll; das Personal hat alles möglich gemacht. Für‘s nächste Mal eine verlässliche Adresse!

Kurz vor einem Konzert dort gewesen als der Laden sehr voll war, mit Glück noch einen Tisch ergattert. Trotz Stress ein extrem freundliches, aufmerksames Team. Essen kam schnell, war frisch und lecker. Absolut Glücksgriff und jederzeit wieder gerne - grandioser Service!

Great location in trendy Hafen(=Harbour) City area. When we left from nearby, real interesting Miniatur Wunderland towards stunning Elbphilharmonie building, it started to rain. So we decided to drop by to Ciao Mamma's terrace, which has roof and views towards that building. Friendly and fast service and prices were surprisingly reasonable, considering their prime location
