A very friendly and quick welcome at the entrance. The interior is modern and rather minimalist in a Nordic style. The menu offers a wide range of vegetarian dishes, which is very commendable. The homemade lemonades are delicious. The food arrived after a normal preparation time and had its ups and downs: the pizza and salad were very good. The pasta with vegetables was good, the pizza bread turned out to be just a pizza without any toppings (we had expected meatballs), the gnocchi were unfortunately tasteless, and the minestrone was quite greasy. The goat cheese was flavorless… The prices are reasonable, and overall we had a pleasant evening. The cheerful and professional service saved the day, creating a good atmosphere.

The food is delicious, and the restaurant is very quiet, allowing you to sit in complete peace and quiet without being disturbed by your surroundings. The only downside is that you are completely cut off from the outside world (no cell service available), and you can never be reached by mobile phone.

Great for families, very friendly service and good pizza, also gluten-free

I went to this restaurant with my grandson for the first time today. Unfortunately, it was a very disappointing visit. Although the restaurant was almost empty, our food arrived at different times – first, only my grandson's food was served, and my own came much later. Drinks weren't brought until the food had already arrived. I had to get cutlery and sauce myself because there was no waiter in sight. In the end, I was overcharged by €10 on the bill – unfortunately, I only noticed this after paying and tipping. When I confronted the waiter about it, he became loud and rude and denied everything. Only after I told him that I'm a restaurant worker myself and don't find this kind of thing very nice did he offer me €4 and keep saying I can correct it! I didn't take the money and told him it wasn't about the money, but about the way they treated guests.

I wasn't impressed. The atmosphere was rather cold and, in my opinion, soulless. The mozzarella pizza wasn't baked for long enough and tasted bland. At least the service was nice.

Very nice staff, they speak English and always ready to help or recommend anything. The restaurant itself is clean and cozy, but the connection is bad and they don’t have WiFi As for the food, I was pleasantly surprised by the zucchini noodles option instead of regular ones; they were delicious. But to be honest, the Bolognese sauce was a bit lacking in meat. My mom had regular spaghetti with shrimp, and there wasn't much of that either. But overall, it's great to have so many options for vegetarians and those watching their diets. :)

Unfortunately, our last visit was disappointing. My pregnant sister's dish contained a beetle – an absolute no-go in any kitchen. Apart from that, the food here is more cafeteria-level, but at significantly higher prices. Many of the dishes could be prepared more cheaply and better at home. The wait times are consistently long, both when ordering and paying. You really have to make yourself known, as the service staff often seem inattentive. Given the quality, it's surprising how this restaurant can even survive in this area.

Nice outdoor seating. Service is sometimes very friendly, but often overwhelmed, even though there are usually only a few guests. Unfortunately, the portion sizes have also changed this year; it tasted better before. It's a shame.

Food was good, but not that special.

I ordered a pizza (gluten-free, mushrooms, salami, €19.90) to my home. It was expensive, tasted okay, but above all, it was TINY! Any kid's pizza shop would have laughed at this one! I've never eaten a whole pizza and usually give half away. I was still hungry after this one! I never write reviews, but in this case, I was so offended that I uploaded it to Google.

The food itself is good. We were there in a larger group; some people got their pizzas after just a few minutes, while others took 1.5 hours. Unfortunately, the staff serving us at that time didn't speak German very well.

Unfortunately, our visit was marred by a small but significant disappointment: There is Wi-Fi in the restaurant, but the password isn't provided to guests—only to the staff. We had ordered food and drinks and wanted to discuss a project in a relaxed atmosphere, but without internet, that was hardly possible. For a modern restaurant in this location, this is truly unusual and not very customer-friendly. It's a shame—we would have liked to have spent more time here. Hopefully, this policy will be reconsidered in the future.

The pizza bread was just a baked pizza without anything else, just the dough baked like a pizza without any dip, nothing at all, which is pretty harsh for the price. You have to buy the dip, and then the side dish costs way too much for a main course.

A super delicious restaurant with a wide variety of dishes. We received a very friendly welcome and were quickly offered a suitable table. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. We really enjoy eating here.

Very nice and cozy interior and friendly service. The food was amazing! For starters, I had Bruschetta al Pomodoro, very crispy and fresh. Then came the Pizza Diavola, with the perfect spice from the chili and spicy salami. The pizza was also very tasty and highly recommended. I will definitely eat there again when I'm back in Hamburg!

I would prefer to give 0 points! I pre-ordered dinner for Saturday at 9:15 p.m. last week. I was at the restaurant at 8:45 p.m. and strangely enough, my 2 pizzas were already ready. Well, when I got home, I noticed that there was meat on a pizza. I called straight away & was assured that I would get my money back as I had to throw away the pizza. On Monday I received an email saying that I would get a free pizza on my next visit. I declined because I didn't find the other pizza tasty at all. The pizza bread was so hard and unfortunately not tasty either. When I wrote that I was promised that I would get my money back, I didn't receive any more messages! Why should I pay money for something that I had to throw away? How can a pizza be ready 30 minutes BEFORE pickup? How can you promise a customer something that you don't follow through with? Very disappointing and you will definitely never see me again :-)

Friendly staff, unfortunately the food is rather average

Food Quality has changed a lot over the last year. But what really matters in a negative way is the size of some dishes. The low carb zucchini noodles for instance are now more like an appetizer and for sure not a main dish. And hey, we are talking about zucchini. Not scampi. Speaking of: the spaghetti with scampi should come with a magnifying glass… still we paid 60,- Euro for a dinner. Not nice… will put Mamas out of my favorite go to places.

It was quick, it was tasty and the service was friendly. Recommended.

This is exactly the case when you eat out and feel sorry for the money and calories spent. The risotto was more like a rice porridge like in a kindergarten, coffee was not great, pizza was just a mess and also didn’t have any great taste. Minestrone was ok but also nothing to be excited. Would definitely not come back. Service was good and fast, but when all our dishes were finished half only, the waiter didn’t ask why and what happened, as I guess this is a usual situation for him when guests are not finishing the food. Shame as they are located in such a good place but the quality is just bad.

Unfortunately it's getting worse and worse, there are always new faces, unfriendly service staff, and the food tastes different every time. There's also a lot of playing and talking on cell phones behind the counter instead of greeting and seating the guests. They speak very loudly in another language, I think it was Arabic or Afghan, definitely very disturbing if you want to eat in peace.

Ich bin ein Liebhaber von italienischem Essen und einer Reise nach Deutschland mein Mann und ich gingen zum Abendessen in die Mama Trattoria, wo wir sehr gut vom Personal betreut wurden und das Essen ist lecker und mit großer Sorgfalt zubereitet, ich kann es nur empfehlen.

Italian flavours with a distinctive German twist....

Unfortunately the quality is declining. We order there often and go there every now and then. Today it took a long time for the food to arrive. We waited over 50 minutes for 2 pizzas, while other guests who came later were almost finished. They apologized for the wait, but of course didn't say that a mistake had obviously been made - it would have been nicer to just say it. The pizza was good, unfortunately smaller than before. Additionally, one of the pizzas had no crust. Having to reduce the size of the pizza when prices are higher is doubly annoying. Note for the cold days: the door doesn't close properly, there is a draft everywhere. We were made aware of the door problem. Glad you recognized the problem. Please have it repaired.

Noodle in mushroom cream sauce was not seasoned at all. There were maybe 3 mushrooms. The food was also served very carelessly.

I would never recommend going to this restaurant in the evening, especially on weekends. There were only 2 waitresses in the restaurant, the food took 1.5 hours to arrive and the pizzas were cold. If there are so many tables, why aren't there more waitresses? It's not the staff's fault, they can't keep up!

They were just two waitress who were working on Saturday. We waited for a pizza aprrox. 1 hour even the restaurant was not full. At the end, we got a cold pizza and was tasteless. Never again…

The restaurant yesterday was super busy and there was only one waitress trying to run back and forth to serve customers. That's not possible on a Saturday. Been there several times. Service is zero. We had the feeling that there was no value placed on the customer at all. Cutlery arrived late, order was taken too late. Nobody cares about customer concerns.

I ate here for the first time yesterday. There are seats in front of the restaurant and both the decor and the ambience are very nice. For dinner I chose the spaghetti Bolognese. Unfortunately that was a mistake. You had to look for the Bolognese with a magnifying glass. It was basically just a bunch of spaghetti, which also only tasted mediocre. It's a shame, I think it's questionable to compromise the quality so much given the prices.

First time there and never come back. Simply no customer service and the food was not spectacular and very little seasoned.

We ordered 2 pizzas via Lieferando over an hour ago. Since the status in the app still hadn't changed since then, we called. The unfriendly lady on the phone just said that all hell was breaking loose with them, that they had actually turned off “the device” and that nothing at all should be able to be ordered via Lieferando. There was 0% effort made to find a solution, just no interest. We then asked her what would happen next. She said she would turn the device back on and then it should work. All statements were very cryptic and hardly helpful. Shortly afterwards, a message appeared in the Lieferando app that the order had been canceled. So we called again, she had zero interest again, we asked if they could make pizza now if we ordered again: “no, all hell is going on here and I don't even know if there will be a driver "We said it was a shame because we couldn't do anything about the whole situation. She said: “Yeah, that’s not possible”. We said that she was really very unfriendly and that we really don't feel like ordering from mom anymore, then she just hung up on us 😃 Service level -100, we will definitely not order here again.

Good location, ok service, bad food. Probably one of the worst pizzas in my life: sloppy watery tomatoes, mozzarella only on top of half of the pizza, burnt crust and for another EUR 1.20 exactly four small slices of chilli…

Lunch was expensive and portions were small. The spaghetti carbonara was prepared with onions, cream, bacon and lots of oil. This is not the traditional way to make spaghetti carbonara. The dish was far from what you would expect in Italy.

The Caesar salad was super tasty and filling. The service was very friendly and quick. Only the location of the outdoor dining area on a busy street is suboptimal. And someone smoked cigarettes and the disgusting smoke often wafted over to us. But the restaurant can't do much about that.

I went to the restaurant a few times and enjoyed it and was happy with the price/performance. Today I ordered caprese as a small snack...I got a small bowl with a bunch of cold tomato slices that tasted like nothing, three small(!) mozzarella balls and some pesto. I had to season it myself, which is difficult when the tomato slices are on top of each other. I think it's cheeky to pay €10.90 for this. The service was slow but nice.

I have already eaten at several “moms” in Hamburg. The food here was again very tasty, but the staff could be friendlier.

Nice atmosphere, service was very nice and professional. Unfortunately, the food disappointed us; the pasta dishes were only lukewarm and tasteless. We had to season it properly. Pizza was lightly topped but nice and thin and tasty. In my opinion the prices are a bit too high. Ambiance is very cozy. The service itself was nice, but it is beyond my understanding how one can offer gluten-free pasta when the dish itself, according to the waiter, is not gluten-free.

We always like to come back here every 1-2 years. Among other things, we come because of the Pizza Bianco - instead of tomato, the topping is made with cream cheese. Extremely delicious. There is a lot of organic produce here, which you rarely find in restaurants. Also many vegetarian dishes. Service was nice and attentive. It's hard to find a parking space there, but the restaurant generally can't help that.

Very tasty pizza in a cozy atmosphere. We'd love to come back. The large selection of pizza bases is also impressive. There is e.g. B. also gluten-free versions. And almost every pizza always has a vegetarian version.

This was the best pasta I've eaten in a long time: Penne con manzo: Organic beef, rosemary, zucchini, braised onions, red wine, rocket, Gran Padano! Cool. Although I didn't need the arugula and didn't understand it either. The small Caesar salad lived up to expectations. The ambience is rather bright and sober, not really cozy. Overall, definitely recommended.

Wir waren von dieser Filiale der Restaurantkette positiv überrascht. Die Einrichtung ist schlicht modern und trotzdem sehr gemütlich. Die Bedienungen waren einfach super. Man fühlte sich jederzeit umsorgt, aber nicht belästigt. Die über knob Aubergine war geschmacklich einfach nur unbeschreiblich toll. Die Nudeln mit Garnelen waren solide und sehr lecker. Das Risotto war auf den Punkt gegart und großartig abgeschmeckt. Wir kommen wieder.

Mama‘s Billo Konzept geht leider nicht auf. Unqualifizierte Servicekräfte und selbst die einfachsten Speisen (Nudeln und Pizza) bekommen die Mitarbeiter nicht in einer Qualität hin (da arbeitet sicher kein ausgebildeter Koch oder erfahrener Pizzabäcker) das man dafür in eine Nachgestylte Ikea Kantine gehen muss. Sorry Mit Essen wie bei „Mama“ hat das nix zu tun.

Lecker, aber nicht ganz günstig

Wir waren sehr lange nicht mehr hier, weil Service und Essen so stark nachgelassen hatten. Dieses Urteil konnten wir revidieren. Das Essen war wieder sehr viel besser. Der Service wirkte angestrengt, war aber sehr freundlich. Auf der Karte viele unterschiedliche Pizzen und Pasta. Teilweise vegan oder glutenfrei. Das Angebot ist vielseitig und die Preise sind erstaunlich fair geblieben. Auch die Einrichtung ist gepflegt und sieht super aus, wenn man bedenkt, wie voll es hier oft ist. Wir kommen jetzt sicher häufiger wieder.

Sieht aus wie ein Italiener Schmeckt wie ein Italiener
