Saw this place on YouTube. Boring menu and restaurant. Nothing on the menu looked at all interesting, so I left. I noticed that of the 10 other customers there, no-one was eating, they were just chatting and having tea.

The food was very tasty, but very overpriced: a starter plate for 4 people costs 30 euros, but the portions are far too small. For hummus and baba ganoush, this is very expensive. The same applies to the main courses: it tastes very tasty, but somehow the price for a main course is already expensive. Overall, a very nice shop, but I think 7-8 euros for a little hummus is very overpriced.

Absolutely incredible food! This Syrian restaurant brings back memories of my trips to Aleppo and Damascus 😍👉🏼the flavors are so authentic, it’s like being back there. Every dish is full of love and tradition, and you can feel the family spirit in the way they run the place. I’m also so proud to support small family businesses like this💗💗💗they truly deserve it! Highly recommend for anyone looking for real Syrian cuisine!

A fantastic restaurant! The food was of the highest quality and simply delicious. The place is quiet, beautiful and has a distinctive Syrian charm. The welcome and service were excellent and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. A small note: the prices are a bit high, but the experience is totally worth it! I can recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a special culinary experience.

The main courses were super tasty and I found the portions to be okay. On the other hand, the appetizer platter was about incomplete in terms of price. The service was very nice and friendly, everything went smoothly. One star was lost because there is no heating.

We've eaten there several times and it's always been very good. You sit comfortably in the living room like you would with friends. Unfortunately there is no heating here in winter. We had to eat in our coats. Maqlube was very tasty though. I tried that myself at home...unfortunately Fateh Makdush didn't exist. My favorite dish...We'd love to come back, but only in warm winter clothes...:-)The waiter is very friendly though.

It’s great seeing a Syrian restaurant with such variety, as opposed to the 5 basic dishes that every Levantine restaurant offers. The food was good, definitely room for improvement, but I can imagine myself coming back many times in the future.

Not cheap, but the food is really very good, fresh and tasty. The atmosphere is very cozy and invites you to linger. The service is very friendly, ordering on the tablet works perfectly and the number of dishes is sufficient and not overwhelming.

One of the best syrian restaurant in berlin. I was thete with my friend snd orderd different dish. All of them were great. My favorite one is Fattoush salad. Restaurant vibe and service was great also. I'll back there again and can recommend it to evetyone who like to test syrian food.

The atmosphere at the restaurant was lovely, and the service was good. The waiter was very polite and friendly. The food was tasty but not particularly special, and I found the prices to be quite high. Although I was tempted to try more dishes from the menu, the high prices make it unlikely for me to return.

When we sat down in the restaurant and took a first look at the menu, we were a bit taken aback by the high prices. 20€ is quite a lot of money, especially compared to similar restaurants in the city. However, since the reviews were good, we thought we could do that... Without asking, we were given a good-looking starter plate with a bit of bread and hummus and thought that was where the price of the main courses came from. In the end it turned out that the starter was charged a whopping €20. We don't think that's fair and we're disappointed, especially because the food was actually delicious...

We had the most delicious lunch here - everything was outstandingly tasty, especially the mezze, and everything was so well spiced and deep in flavour. The restaurant is pretty, cosy, and you can feel the warmth of the people who work there in the place and in the food. Can't wait to go back!

Gratt Syrian restaurant. I really miss my grandma's cooking and I received a warm recommendation to visit Malakeh Restaurant and I'm so happy I found the time for dinner there during my vacation in Berlin. The food was full of flavour, big portion and I really enjoyed every thing I ate.

A real delight! This restaurant was a real culinary discovery for me and I was not disappointed. The atmosphere is warm, which makes the experience even more pleasant. The service is impeccable and I particularly liked the possibility of ordering partly via a tablet. This allows you to order at your own pace, without feeling rushed by the waiter. The staff is responsive and very friendly, and the manager is really friendly. The dishes were tasty and delicious. I highly recommend this place for a successful Syrian culinary experience!

Very friendly staff, delicious food and reasonable prices. There is a small vegan selection for vegetarians and vegans - this could be more extensive. I had a very tasty lamb tagine with dried fruit. A visit is worth it

Malika Restaurant has changed a lot from the old days. Even the service has become a lot worse than we used to have in the old days. If we wanted good food or if anyone came to visit Berlin, we would come to you. Unfortunately, about a year ago, almost everything went downhill in the store. Yesterday, 02/11/24, we came to the restaurant at 9:30 pm, knowing that the restaurant was full at 11 o’clock. We still wanted to miss the restaurant. The guy told us that we would not miss it as long as they finished or got drunk. I can understand that there are no meals or all tables reserved, but respect the person who is coming for a few, let him leave, and apologize to him if he does not leave the door. Before he opens the door, you signal to him with your hand that you are finished. Before it's too late.

The great place for sharing food with your family and friends! Everything was excellent! It worth your visit!

Amazing food although a bit expensive

Average food, nothing special. The dish has a few pieces of meat, a piece of eggplant and everything else is rice. Cold meatballs. They do not accept credit cards, which is simply unacceptable in the 21st century.

That was just bad, I ate better in takeaways. I don't understand how this place has gotten such high ratings so far because it definitely doesn't deserve them. My dish was almost cold - absolutely unacceptable. The prices are far too high for such poor quality.

I've been wanting to eat with you for a long time, especially since I follow you on Instagram. I thought this time it would work and I would find delicious and filling food. But it was a disappointment. The grape leaves are so salty😌😌that they could give you high blood pressure. If someone has high blood pressure. The meat is well cooked, but it's not even enough for a small child😑. The Maqluba is not even what we can call Maqluba🤔. The portion is not appropriate for such a restaurant and I know the prices are high but that doesn't justify what we were served. We also paid a decent amount and stayed hungry.

Great food and lots of vegetarian options too. However, ordering with a digital menu and only one tablet per table is a bit complicated and the tables are also a bit too close inside. Nevertheless, the overall quality of the food deserves 5 stars!

Gutes essen . Schönes location. Personal sehr freundlich. ein bisschen teuer im Verhältnis zur portiongröße. Und leider steht nirgendwo, dass fast alle Gerichte etwas sharf sind was natürlich für Menschen mit allergie oder magen Probleme ungünstig ist.. Nur bar bezahlung möglich aber das kann man shon lesen beim reinkommen.. Kann man auf jeden Fall machen wenn man was neues auszuprobieren möchte.

The dish I had tasted like tomato sauce, more reminiscent of spaghetti sauce. But if you like it you can try it, for me it only tasted like tomato sauce. The portions of rice were a bit too small. Salad was good. Try a different dish next time. 30€ without drinks.

I think it's always nice to take the opportunity to find out something about the food and ask questions, especially at such an excellent restaurant. The price is a bit too high for the fact that the service has been partially replaced by digitalization. Nevertheless, the food is worth it and the atmosphere is very cozy

The food was very good, unfortunately the usual current trend: small portions at high prices. Each main course starts at 20 euros - at least you shouldn't save on the quantity. Unfortunately it will. I also ate the most expensive starter hummus - 8 euros for a small bowl with a few triangles of dry bread. Since, thank God, there are enough alternatives of good quality, this wasn't an advertisement for a repeat visit. Too bad.

Malekeh es un restaurante sirio. Comimos afuera. Las mesas estaban sucias. La decoración de flores artificiales y bombillas desnudas en la pared no era de mi gusto. Pides un IPad que es impersonal. Tengo arroz vegetariano con berenjenas. El arroz era aceitoso. Había dos rondas de berenjenas sin pelar en la parte superior. En el arroz había hebras de cáscaras de berenjena que me parecieron poco apetitosas. La salsa de yogur de pepino estaba bien. Había abejas zumbando en nuestra comida. Sólo tienes que pagar en efectivo.

Delicious Food especially starters, Maklobeh was really good and highly recommended 😋. Mansaf was enjoyable, but it leaned more towards a Syrian flavor profile rather than the traditional Jordanian taste. Good service and friendly staff but they need to work more on welcoming part. Keep it up 👍🏻

Unfortunately, it is a very bad restaurant. I came with a group of Janes from Canada, and there is no lettuce or fattoush in the salad. Unfortunately, the food was cold, and the bathrooms did not have any washing paper. Unfortunately, it has to come back.

How can you rate that, it was a disgrace, how can you if I make a reservation and ask almost an hour in advance then don't give out any more food on site... Pathetic!

Great, very tasty oriental cuisine! The price is a bit high at around 20 euros per main course, but that's completely okay for the quality and taste of the dishes. We had Kufteh and Fakharet Malakeh, both of which - like most of the dishes on the menu - were previously unknown to us, but absolutely recommended. The service was friendly and quick and the decor is cozy in an oriental style. We felt very comfortable. I was told that cash payment was only possible at the moment when I made my reservation by phone, so I was able to prepare for that. We'd love to come back!

Extremely disapointing. We went here due to the high reviews and wanted to get some nice Syrian food in the area. A starter consisting of three small dips for 20 euros has to be gourmet level for that price. Well it wasn't. The tabouleh was extremely sour and uneatable. The bread was boring and the aubergine-starter was very soggy as the "crisps" were put under the heavy sauce. Comparing the high prices at this restaurant and the high quality level of middle eastern restaurant in Berlin (for a cheaper price with better quality), we were very disapointed. Will not visit again. As someone else mentioned, it seems like the owner is deleting low ratings from Google review.

Very wonderful experience at Malakeh! They have an authentic touch of Syrian food which comes with nice decorations and wonderful taste. Really good service! It serves Halal meat, and you have vegetarian options as well. We ordered Mandi and Kebab both were extremely delicious!

Very authentic cuisine with a large selection of dishes that are not available everywhere else

tender meat, tasty cooked rice , well and balanced cooked-through stew, thick and tastful ayran, well steeped tea, nice ambient, friendly staff, good service. Although the meat was lamb, the gamey smell of it has been fully taken without the meat texture is gone. The meat rsult was tender with pleasent odor. Those picky on kicky meat smell of lamb would really appreciat it. All what one can expect from a restaurant is met here at Malakeh Restaurant. I fully recommend this place and happy that I found it in Berlin.

Cozy place with a very good atmosphere and delicious cuisine.

I didn't understand all the positive reviews. The food was just meh, not really so remarkable. There are plenty of much better middle eastern restaurants in Berlin. And they only take cash and paying the bill was a pain.

On vacation in Berlin, we let ourselves be tempted by the recommendations of the backpacker's guide and some positive reviews on the Internet. Syrian cuisine, great! We didn't know... Unfortunately, our experience was not as conclusive. If we ignore a very simple restaurant, we were especially doubtful about the cuisine. We have taken : - a dish called Dawood Basha, really not great: 5 meatballs in an acidic tomato sauce served with vermicelli rice. - a dish called Chish Belfakhara with chicken, mushrooms, cheese, lemon, garlic sauce under a layer of bread. Our opinions were divided for this dish but we emphasize its originality. Still worth testing. The more than minimalist service, the high prices for what it is, count 25€/person main course + drink (be careful: don't take the menu) and the heavy atmosphere: it's anecdotal but if we are mixed on the Syrian cuisine, we are now certain that we do not like Syrian instrumental music. Sorry. It's too heavy and borderline depressing when eating. Having no knowledge of Syrian cuisine, we have no possible comparisons. What is certain is that we will not return to this restaurant. The best thing is to have your own experience.
