You open the door and walk in, you feel like you've walked into your own home, you sit by the dining table, you close your eyes and say what is your mother cooking today, the food comes and you start eating, you can't believe that you're in a restaurant... I'm really not exaggerating... the food is so delicious and no different from the food your mother eats at home... grape leaves are something indescribable and delicious... unfortunately I live in Frankfurt... next time I come to Berlin, the first thing I'll do is run to you... and the prices are very reasonable... but we, guys, are single young men who are deprived of such delicious food 😅😅 I advise you to come and eat at Malika Restaurant, by God, five stars is not enough, we want to demand that Google give it 10 stars ⭐️

We were there with my wife for my birthday. We arrived 5 minutes to break the Ramadan fast. Nevertheless, the food arrived on our table very quickly. One star for that! And the restaurant gets the remaining stars for the very delicious food! I ordered Kufteh and have never eaten anything like it! The portion was great, the taste was unique and I enjoyed eating it. I will definitely go there again and try the other things too. Yes, the prices are a bit higher compared to Sonnenallee, but the customers are much smaller and you can chat in peace. My wife's leg of lamb was cooked to perfection and the rice with it was very tasty. OK, I've already commented too much!! A MUST GO!! DON'T FORGET TO RESERVE!!

They have awesome appetizers. Extremely welcoming crew. Main dishes were not according to our expectations especially after the awesome set of appetizers served. We would definitely visit again if we were to pass by Berlin.

Disappointing Iftar experience We had reserved half an hour before breaking the fast and were there on time, but the organization was incredibly chaotic. We had to ask for water and dates several times - in the end we didn't get any at all, while other tables were served with dates. The drinks didn't arrive until 10 minutes after breaking the fast. Our lentil soup was served with a delay, we waited 25 minutes for the main course, only to be told that it was no longer in stock. Shortly afterwards it was served to us - extremely disorganized. The food itself was okay, but not worth €18-20. It was really just rice with broccoli and cauliflower. There were hardly any sauces and despite asking for yoghurt we were told there wasn't any - but some was served at the next table shortly afterwards. The store was full, but only two waitresses were on duty. I think during Ramadan you can assume that the restaurant will be overcrowded, which was the case in the end. At the end there was also an incorrect bill and we had to wait forever for our actual bill. Overall the experience was disappointing and the €61 was not worth it.

Food was great!. Beautiful atmosphere and all. The only thing was the way the waiter wanted to make us leave so other customers would sit in our place, even tho we still had food in our plates plus we had a reservation…

I went again for the mandi rice. Last time I ate it with lamb and it was delicious. This time I used vegetables instead of meat and that was a big mistake because the vegetables came out of the bag. Wave-cut carrot slices and broccoli and cauliflower tops. So if this isn't homemade, what about the other stuff? It's too expensive for that. I left pretty disappointed. What a shame!☹️

The idea of ​​the restaurant is good as a café, but it is very crowded and uncomfortable to sit in, due to the small space, the noise, and the large number of pictures on the walls in an attempt to present an impression of contemporary Syrian culture by hanging pictures of famous actors in the world of singing, singing, and acting who were famous under the Assad regime, such as Youssef Al-Azma, Duraid Lahham, and others... The owner of the restaurant succeeded in combining the idea of ​​an exhibition of famous Syrians and contemporary Syrian food, while putting her own special touch. This makes the guest feel that he is in one of the cities of Syria, with its alleys crowded with people to the beat of contemporary Syrian music. The service is great, as is the food, with a penchant for the sour, quiet flavour, as the Syrian Aleppo restaurant is known for. In my opinion, it is a youth restaurant rather than a restaurant for the whole family...and it is an example of the integration of a contemporary Syrian restaurant into Berlin, which is culturally diverse and rough in its life and sensibilities.

Delicious food, but very small portions and therefore poor value for money, as most dishes cost 20 euros. However, service is already included in the prices... We definitely weren't full! Service friendly but inattentive and slow. A bit run down inside, tables are very close together. Card payment not possible 🙄

We had both the vegetarian and meat Mandi rice. The rice was nice, but some of the whole spices, like cardamom, were unpleasant to eat, and I had to spit them out. Maybe it's because it's authentic—I’m not sure. We also had hummus, which was decent, but we wished the bread had been warm rather than room temperature. The price was also on the higher side. Overall, the meal was delicious, but i probably wouldn’t go again because of the price.

The menu was quite clear, we expected more choice. The food came relatively quickly, the taste was okay, but not necessarily satisfactory for the price. The service was very nice, but was probably slightly overwhelmed by the crowd in the store, so you had to pay more attention than yourself.

In this restaurant I missed the generosity that is characteristic of Syrian cuisine and culture, especially in the food. The portion sizes were disproportionate to the price and were not enough to fill you up. I felt uncomfortable inviting my two colleagues there because we all didn't get enough food and had to reorder. I hope that my feedback reaches the manager and that he takes into account that generosity is an essential characteristic of Syrian gastronomy.

The restaurant is located in a central area of ​​Berlin and is easily accessible on foot (about a 12-minute walk from Potsdamer Platz). The meals taste great and the atmosphere of the place takes you back to Syria, whether with the hanging pictures of celebrities, Syrian art and politics, and even the carefully selected songs to add joy and calm to the souls of expatriate Syrians... It is a piece of beautiful Syria that we left planted in the heart of Berlin.

Unfortunately, the first impression was already negative: the table wasn't wiped clean, the iPad case was completely worn out and when you look around: battered furniture with stained cushions - the whole atmosphere was rather hideous and uncomfortable. I don't care about that when it comes to good food, but the next disappointment followed: The salad was ok - the stuffed grape leaves straight from the can onto the plate. The bread-topped chicken looked great, but actually just tasted like sour lemon with gooey cheese. The fatty lamb with rice tasted like nothing at all... I have been to many Arab countries - the food here has nothing to do with it - this was also confirmed by my companion, who is Arab himself. Did they season it “German” to avoid any complaints? Where were the famous Arabic spices? The service - which was alone - was of course completely overwhelmed: No menu at first, the drinks came in the middle of the main course and they were probably only served after you had left - we did that pretty quickly, because nothing invites you to linger here. Disappointment is the result of false expectations. Ours was clearly too high - prices like in a middle class restaurant (only cash payment of course) but it is more of a better snack bar. Conclusion: No recommendation!

Schon der erste Eindruck war leider negativ: Der Tisch nicht abgewischt, eine völlig verschlissene iPad-Hülle und wenn man sich dann umsieht: ramponierte Möbel mit fleckigen Kissen - das ganze Ambiente eher scheußlich und ungemütlich. Bei gutem Essen ist mir das egal, aber es folgte die nächste Enttäuschung: Der Salat war ok - die gefüllten Weinblätter direkt aus der Dose auf den Teller. Das Hühnchen mit der Brothaube sah toll aus, schmeckte eigentlich nur nach saurer Zitrone mit zahem Kase. Das fettige Lamm mit Reis schmeckte nach überhaupt nichts ... Ich war in vielen arabischen Länder - das Essen hier hat damit nichts zu tun - das bestätigte auch mein Begleiter, der sellost Araber ist. Hat man es „Deutsch" gewürzt, um keine Beschwerden zu bekommen? Wo blieben die vielgerühmten arabischen Gewürze? Der Service - der alleine war - natürlich völlig überfordert: Erst keine Karte, die Getränke kamen in der Mitte des Hauptgangs und abgedeckt wird wohl erst nachdem man gegangen ist - das sind wir ziemlich schnell, denn nichts lad hier zum Verweilen ein. Enttäuschung ist das Ergebnis falscher Erwartung. Unsere war eindeutig zu hoch - Preise wie in einem Mittelklasserestaurant (natürlich nur Barzahlung) aber es ist eher ein besser Imbiss. Fazit: Keine Empfehlung!

A fantastic experience! My first time in a Syrian restaurant and this one didn’t disappoint. We shared a starter platter for two and a main course and it was plenty enough for both of us. Excellent quality and absolutely delicious. Similar to Lebanese cuisine but better. No wonder that former Chancellor Merkel apparently once ate here, too! No alcohol, no coffee and no desserts but that didn’t bother us. A nice service and good prices, too. Definitely worth the visit!

The lamb shank dish was SO good. Very tender, fall off the bone, rice was deliciously seasoned, and the side sauces completed the meal. The chicken pot pie was ok. The white cheesy sauce is yummy but the chicken is dry. Good but wouldn’t get it again. Appetizer of eggplant hummus was decent. CASH ONLY !!! ATM machine is a block away and quick. Super friendly host/server.

Saw this place on YouTube. Boring menu and restaurant. Nothing on the menu looked at all interesting, so I left. I noticed that of the 10 other customers there, no-one was eating, they were just chatting and having tea.

The food was very tasty, but very overpriced: a starter plate for 4 people costs 30 euros, but the portions are far too small. For hummus and baba ganoush, this is very expensive. The same applies to the main courses: it tastes very tasty, but somehow the price for a main course is already expensive. Overall, a very nice shop, but I think 7-8 euros for a little hummus is very overpriced.

We've eaten there several times and it's always been very good. You sit comfortably in the living room like you would with friends. Unfortunately there is no heating here in winter. We had to eat in our coats. Maqlube was very tasty though. I tried that myself at home...unfortunately Fateh Makdush didn't exist. One of the best syrian restaurant in berlin. I was thete with my friend snd orderd different dish. All of them were great. My favorite one is Fattoush salad. Restaurant vibe and service was great also. I'll back there again and can recommend it to evetyone who like to test syrian food.

When we sat down in the restaurant and took a first look at the menu, we were a bit taken aback by the high prices. 20€ is quite a lot of money, especially compared to similar restaurants in the city. However, since the reviews were good, we thought we could do that... Without asking, we were given a good-looking starter plate with a bit of bread and hummus and thought that was where the price of the main courses came from. In the end it turned out that the starter was charged a whopping €20. We don't think that's fair and we're disappointed, especially because the food was actually delicious...

The food was tasty but not particularly special, and I found the prices to be quite high. Although I was tempted to try more dishes from the menu, the high prices make it unlikely for me to return.

We had the most delicious lunch here - everything was outstandingly tasty, especially the mezze, and everything was so well spiced and deep in flavour. The restaurant is pretty, cosy, and you can feel the warmth of the people who work there in the place and in the food. Can't wait to go back!

Gratt Syrian restaurant. I really miss my grandma's cooking and I received a warm recommendation to visit Malakeh Restaurant and I'm so happy I found the time for dinner there during my vacation in Berlin. The food was full of flavour, big portion and I really enjoyed every thing I ate.

A real delight! This restaurant was a real culinary discovery for me and I was not disappointed. The atmosphere is warm, which makes the experience even more pleasant. The service is impeccable and I particularly liked the possibility of ordering partly via a tablet. This allows you to order at your own pace, without feeling rushed by the waiter. The staff is responsive and very friendly, and the manager is really friendly. The dishes were tasty and delicious. I highly recommend this place for a successful Syrian culinary experience!

Malika Restaurant has changed a lot from the old days. Even the service has become a lot worse than we used to have in the old days. If we wanted good food or if anyone came to visit Berlin, we would come to you. Unfortunately, about a year ago, almost everything went downhill in the store. Yesterday, 02/11/24, we came to the restaurant at 9:30 pm, knowing that the restaurant was full at 11 o’clock. We still wanted to miss the restaurant. The guy told us that we would not miss it as long as they finished or got drunk. I can understand that there are no meals or all tables reserved, but respect the person who is coming for a few, let him leave, and apologize to him if he does not leave the door. Before he opens the door, you signal to him with your hand that you are finished. Before it's too late.

That was just bad, I ate better in takeaways. I don't understand how this place has gotten such high ratings so far because it definitely doesn't deserve them. My dish was almost cold - absolutely unacceptable. The prices are far too high for such poor quality.

Average food, nothing special. The dish has a few pieces of meat, a piece of eggplant and everything else is rice. Cold meatballs. They do not accept credit cards, which is simply unacceptable in the 21st century.

But it was a disappointment. The grape leaves are so salty😌😌that they could give you high blood pressure. If someone has high blood pressure. The meat is well cooked, but it's not even enough for a small child😑. The Maqluba is not even what we can call Maqluba🤔. The portion is not appropriate for such a restaurant and I know the prices are high but that doesn't justify what we were served. We also paid a decent amount and stayed hungry.

Gutes essen . Schönes location. Personal sehr freundlich. ein bisschen teuer im Verhältnis zur portiongröße. Malekeh es un restaurante sirio. Comimos afuera. Las mesas estaban sucias. La decoración de flores artificiales y bombillas desnudas en la pared no era de mi gusto. Pides un IPad que es impersonal. Tengo arroz vegetariano con berenjenas. El arroz era aceitoso. Había dos rondas de berenjenas sin pelar en la parte superior. En el arroz había hebras de cáscaras de berenjena que me parecieron poco apetitosas. La salsa de yogur de pepino estaba bien. Había abejas zumbando en nuestra comida. Sólo tienes que pagar en efectivo.

Delicious Food especially starters, Maklobeh was really good and highly recommended 😋. Mansaf was enjoyable, but it leaned more towards a Syrian flavor profile rather than the traditional Jordanian taste. Good service and friendly staff but they need to work more on welcoming part. Keep it up 👍🏻
