Eine in Potsdam gut versteckte Perle der Gastronomie. Sehr nettes Ambiente, aufmerksame Bedienung und hervorragendes Essen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt, Qualität hat eben ihren Preis! Ich war nach 2 Jahren wieder im Maison Charlotte, das Restaurant hat sein hohes Niveau gehalten.

Was für ein schönes kleines Juwel in der Altstadt in Potsdam, sehr gutes Essen, freundlicher Service und sehr schönes Ambiente! Empfehlenswert

Ich hatte heute Abend ein absolut köstliches Abendessen dort. Das Essen war wunderschön angerichtet, schmeckte fantastisch und wurde von einem hervorragenden Wein begleitet. Auch der Service und das Ambiente waren erstklassig. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Das Essen war sehr lecker, die Suppe allerdings nur warm. Der Aperitif und der empfohlene Wein zum Essen sehr gut. Die Bedienungen war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, die Eine aber zu laut. Die Toiletten werden dem ganzen Ambiente und der Preisgestaltung nicht gerecht, leider einfach unterirdisch.

Dieses Restaurant kommt dem französischen Flair sehr nahe. Es gab sogar Chartreuse….absolute Empfehlung!

Ein wirklich hervorragendes Erlebnis – das Essen war absolut köstlich, die Weinbegleitung perfekt und insgesamt eine entspannte Atmosphäre, die ich am Ende des Abends mit diesem überglücklichen Geburtstagskind genießen konnte.

Exzellenter Service, hervorragendes Essen (allerdings zu einem entsprechenden Preis). 10/10, ich würde jederzeit wieder hingehen.

Eigentlich in einem anderen Lokal, was aber der Mehrheit nicht zusagte, warum wir dann spontan ins „Maison Charlotte“ ausgewichen sind. Zu 7 ist das eigentlich nahezu unmöglich, aber das Maison Charlotte verfügt neben den eigentlichen Räumlichkeiten auch einen durch einen kleinen Garten erreichbaren Raum der für bis zu 10-12 Personen Exklusivität verspricht. Das Team hat den Raum extra für uns hergerichtet und uns herzlich aufgenommen. Freundlicher zuvorkommender Service, exzellente Küche und schönes Ambiente. Ein gelungener Abend. Es ist wirklich ein sehr gemütliches Restaurant, die Atmosphäre ist sehr angenehm. Einzig die Speisen haben uns nicht vollständig überzeugen können, so war der Fisch recht durch und die Ochsenbäckchen nicht zart.

Ein hervorragendes Abendessen in einem wunderschönen Ambiente. Die Foie gras als Vorspeise mit ihrer originellen süß-herzhaften Beilage, ein köstliches Stück Rindfleisch, perfekt gegart mit jungem Gemüse, und zum Dessert eine Crème brûlée mit etwas Zimt – einfach köstlich. Die Speisen waren exquisit angerichtet, und der Service sehr zuvorkommend. Ich kann dieses charmante Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen.

Mein Geburtstagsdinner - welch ein schöner Abend! Aufmerksamer und super freundlicher Service, sehr gutes Essen und ein perfekter Cremant Rose. Gerne wieder!

Das Essen ist durchaus zu empfehlen. Ein gemütliches Abendessen ist nur im hinteren Raum möglich. Im vorderen Raum wird man geräuchert und gleichzeitig gelüftet. Schade, ich hätte mir einen entsprechenden Hinweis bei der Reservierung gewünscht.

Ich war sehr begeistert vom Ambiente,als ich eintrat und noch mehr, als ich begrüßt und bedient wurde - extrem angenehm, aufmerksam und feundlich. Die Speisekarte war sehr spannend und die gewählten Gerichte ausgezeichnet. Ich werde in jedem Fall wieder kommen!

Wir waren 6 Personen, haben ohne Probleme Plätze bekommen. Der Kellner war sehr freundlich und lustig. Das Essen, schnell und auch gut dargeboten. Geschmacklich hätte es kräftiger sein können. Es lohnt sich hier mal ein Essen zu gönnen.

We were there as a family of four for lunch at 2:30 p.m. The staff was very friendly, the waiters were genuine and remembered our order. We had excellent service. Cider served in an original hand-painted Brittany ceramic mug, first-class Breton fish soup, and a truly delicious tarte flambée! Highly recommended!

For us, it's a must-try on every visit to Potsdam. They also offer tarte flambée and other snacks from lunch to dinner... Highly recommended!

A restaurant with bistro charm in the Dutch Quarter. Very French cuisine (lamb, rabbit). The seating is a bit cramped, but that's part of the charm. The food is very good, the service very friendly – ​​a small deduction, however, for the slightly hectic atmosphere – the service was actually rushed – guests at the neighboring table had to wait 90 minutes for their food. The two of us visited on Sunday evening. It was a very successful evening in an exceptionally good and relaxed atmosphere. For starters, I had the Breton fish soup with garlic baguette and rouille. The main course was the Atlantic char fillet with Beelitz asparagus, La Ratte (a kind of char), and nut butter. Both dishes were incredibly delicious, a true delight. The advice on matching wines was very competent, and you could tell the owner is a connoisseur. Overall, the service was very good and everyone extremely friendly. The decor is cozy and you feel at home. We'd love to come back! !!! Thanks to the team.

A beautifully decorated French restaurant with a winter garden and courtyard. The service was friendly and spoke German. We drank a glass of Crémant, ate gratinated oysters, Breton fish soup, and pasta with mushrooms. Everything was good except for the pasta.

At 7:30 p.m. I was inside with my wife and wanted to order something to eat and drink on the terrace, the waitress told me they were no longer taking orders. Opening hours are until 11 p.m....that's why only one star...the female waiter apparently decided for herself who she wanted to serve and who she didn't...

You can also order individual dishes from the menu offered. The food was first class, the service was nice 👍 and funny 😄! The ambience is great, I suspect it's even better if you can sit outside in the summer.

We are often in Potsdam and look forward to the beautiful ambience and good cuisine at Maison Charlotte. Same thing last night. The well-known Breton fish soup as a starter was ok. But the main course - duck leg with red cabbage and dumplings had probably waited too long for guests: it appeared burnt and tough, the red cabbage was swimming in an indefinable sauce, the dumplings tasted like they came out of the bag. The Café gourmand dessert was tasty. We've eaten here every time we've visited Potsdam, but after having a disappointing experience for the second time, we'll be turning to alternatives. Too bad.

The ambience is pretty French, but the kitchen exhaust in the middle of the restaurant doesn't work well, so there's too much smell of frying in the room. The cheap lunch menu is good. However, the prices à la carte and the menu are unfortunately overpriced.

Wonderful French place in Potsdam - Go into the backyard and sit under the trees! Been there now twice. Enjoyed the hummus, the duck breast as well as the lup de mer. Would go again!

Made a reservation for our anniversary dinner while visiting family in Potsdam. Requested outdoor seating. As we walked up we were skeptical of what that would mean. All fears were immediately alleviated as we were shown to the courtyard in the back. Absolutely beautiful. The service was on point and the food was spectacular. Did one of the set menus and couldn’t have been happier. If we ever get a chance to make it back to Potsdam this will definitely be a stop again. Thank you.

Actually, the Holländerviertel is known more for its mediocre tourist restaurants. The Maison Charlotte is a pleasant contrast. Went there at short notice on a Tuesday and ordered the poached pulpo and the eggplant lasagna. Very well prepared. The evening ended with a Cafe Gourmand. You should just go there more often, uncomplicated but good food.

The two of us had dinner in the green courtyard. Two different 3 course menus. The service was friendly, attentive and humorous. The food was classics from French cuisine, which were very good and aromatic. My three wines were very tasty and suitable. A great evening according to our taste!

We came on the recommendation of friends. A small, cute restaurant. The food was good. Which is what I expect given the prices. What didn't convince us was the dessert, but that's a matter of personal taste. We didn't like the wine accompaniment. We personally didn't like two wines (we had different wines). Which of course can also be attributed to personal taste. However, we are used to being told something about the wine when we order a wine pairing Of course, this is the only way to get to know the wine world better. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. What we didn't like was the temperature. As a woman, I found it really uncomfortable and even my husband found it too cold. We found the atmosphere to be restless and too loud. It was a nice evening, but we wouldn't visit the restaurant again. In this price category there are other restaurants that can better meet our expectations of perfect service, a quiet, romantic and warm atmosphere. But this can only be attributed to our personal expectations and feelings.

Vorneweg: das Ambiente ist toll, man sitzt sehr sehr nett nach hinten raus, auch der Innenhof ist sehr lauschig, zum Wohlfühlen! Nur: das Essen leider kein Highlight. Wir waren enttäuscht.Die Vorspeise ( Spargelsüppchen und Foie gras) machten Lust auf mehr, beides war sehr gut. Danach ging es bergab: Der Spargel zum Hauptgericht war so knallhart, dass man ihn kaum mit dem Messer schneiden konnte. Das Filet de boeuf war recht zäh… unklar, ob es wirklich Filet war? Dazu gab es auch nicht die passenden Messer-das bekommt ja jede Pizzeria besser hin- in Frankreich wäre das ein absolutes No Go!! Der Nachtisch, Törtchen mit Rhabarber schmeckte dann wirklich wie in der Kantine. Vielleicht hätte man dort den Rhabarber wenigstens ausreichend gezuckert… Auch kam das Ganze sehr lieblos daher, der Rhabarber grau… einzig die zwei Mini Mini Kugeln Zitronensorbet waren lecker. Dazu ein nicht unsympathischer aber irgendwie fehl am Platz wirkender Kellner. Ob es geschmeckt hatte, wollte er gar nicht wissen. Nach dem Nachtisch habe ich es ihn dennoch wissen lassen. Darauf auch keine Reaktion. Vielleicht sind wir noch nicht ausreichend an die schroffen Brandenburger Verhaltensweisen gewöhnt. Aber: normalerweise wird auf eine Reklamation irgendeine Reaktion gegeben und sei es nur, dass es einem leid tut oder er es an die Küche weitergibt. Hier: nichts davon. Auch für Trinkgeld wird sich nicht bedankt, es ist wohl klar, dass man es gibt. Fazit: wir kamen mit großen Erwartungen, werden so schnell wohl nicht wiederkommen. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt nicht. 200 Euro haben wir gezahlt, das geht angesichts des Gebotenen besser!

The prices are beyond good and bad, compared to the size of the tarte flambée for the price and the long waiting time, it is not justified!

I ordered a classic tarte flambée to take away. It was ice cold and not freshly prepared, which is why I was worried about the reduced price. They just wanted to get rid of it and gave it to a customer. Impossible.

Absolutely fantastic French restaurant! The service was impeccable and the food was fabulous! It's not cheap but it's worth it! Ideal for a romantic lunch. I highly recommend !

Colour (Race) unfriendly! They ruined my night! I am writing this while sitting right in the restaurant. Am standing write at the counter asking the waiter (Sven Richter), if I would get a reservation for one, and the waiter shows me with his head towards unset table ,( the pictures attached )being am a patient person I asked him again, still , he points with his head towards the place he showed me earlier meanwhile a paar (two white ladies) comes with no reservations too and he shows them other direction where other white are sitting! I got no patience called the waitress and asked her why was I given the seat where am the only person of colour, whereas others are put on the other side, moreover I was dining on my own expense! after sitting for a while, the female waitress comes to pick my order I ask her if my table can be sett she goes and brings the serviette and the knife and a🍴 then puts them on the table, while I was still waiting for my order I could see them chit chatting with a glance towards me then laughing! I got furious look at them then the lady stop and moves aside , I even got afraid to eat my food!

Unser aktueller Besuch eine absolute Enttäuschung. Das frühere hohe Niveau haben wir nicht mehr vorgefunden, Weder Küche noch Service erreichen die ehemalige Qualität. Bei einer Rechnung von über 200 Euro darf man mehr als das Gebotene erwarten. Sinnvoll wäre vielleicht eine getrennte Mittags- und Abendkarte.

The tarte flambée is soooo super thin, crispy and delicious; My friend said it was the best tarte flambée she had ever eaten. I had a salad with brown bread and goose rillettes. delicious. The small restaurant becomes a permanent point in Potsdam for us.

Lovely "French" cafe and restaurant in the Dutch Quarter... We ended our Easter trip here with a wonderful menu. Everything was just right: Nice ambience, friendly service and excellent food.
