Very tasty food. In my opinion, the best Indian in Nuremberg. Unfortunately the service is not very attentive. The food is brought after a reasonable time, we also ask again whether everything is OK, but that's it.

The midday lunch Buffet ist probably one of the best valued food offerings in the City. The food is amazing and there ist a good amount of different Options.

Four of us went there for dinner relatively spontaneously on a Thursday evening. We got a place straight away. The food was good. There is a very large selection. The service was super friendly and accommodating :) Vegetarian dishes could easily be made vegan upon request. You can also order great here. Overall great restaurant.

Food is still very tasty. The prices are also okay. But it needs to be renewed a few times. Tablecloths without stains, closing the junk room door on the way to the toilet, etc. would do the impression well. We also waited a long time for food. We ordered 2 biriyani and it tasted like sambar rice mixed with chicken pieces.The biriyani didn't have any components of an actual biriyani.It was very disappointing.

Ordered Dumm aloo, dal makhan and veg. Biryani over Liferando. Though the food was delivered on time, it was an utter disgrace in the name of food. Both the curries had the same base with lots of artificial color. It tasted like uncooked tomato puree. Biryani was also tasteless, with uncooked vegetables. Had to throw most of it away, and whatever eaten was only to fill up the hunger. Please avoid such restaurants if you value your health and money.

Indian copy, no taste, butter chicken = tomato sauce, naan: elastic tortilla, rice without salt ??? I don't understand where these 4 stars come from?

We enjoyed an excellent meal here. We had a Korma and a Tikka Massala. Both dishes were full of flavor with thick, rich sauces. The server was very polite and took great care of us.

The location is good. Easy to spot the place , difficult to find a parking spot if u r by a car ! Although the food is average , but still worth it. The staff could get more trained to deal with customers.

Had very bad diarrhea and stomach cramps after eating. Had pieces of cardboard in the rice.

Parts of the delivery were missing (paid via PayPal), the supplier supposedly knows nothing about it and then makes an absolutely outrageous comment. Restaurant not accessible. It was my last order and I won't let myself be cheated. Food wasn't good this time either, chicken was cooked far dry, tasteless sauce. Only the lassi was very good, as always.

The Maharaja Place has been one of our favorite restaurants in Nuremberg for 15 years now. Whenever we pass by here, we can't avoid stopping here and eating the delicious food. The price/performance level is great, the food is super tasty. As always, we'll be back 👍

Update July 2024 The lunch menu now costs €11.50. Otherwise not much has changed. It still tastes very good. At the moment I can only say something about the lunch buffet. I wasn't there in the evening yet. The lunch menu is really above average. The typical Indian classics are offered. From mild to spicy. If you want it spicier, you can add more seasoning. I've been there several times for lunch and tried everything. Every dish tastes really good. Each guest also gets fresh naan bread. The buffet is always kept fresh. However, it may be that one or the other runs out at 2 p.m. and is no longer refilled. But then, if requested, a portion of what was missing was prepared separately. Class service. For €7.50 you can't eat better. Top!

I ordered food through online delivery app. The delivery was quick but the food was not all good. The food doesn't taste like Indian food at all and lacks flavors. The chicken was undercooked and bland. Not recommended.

A terrible experience: I had called the restaurant before ordering to make sure my chicken curry wasn't spicy and had ordered for pickup. When I picked it up everything was fine. The next day the manager called me rudely and claimed that I had ordered twice - once by phone and two minutes later again with Wolt - . That didn't make any sense - It is clear that this is a misunderstanding on their part. He had been extremely rude and made the argument worse instead of apologizing. The food was okay, but the service gets 0 stars.

I have eaten at many Indian restaurants, but Maharaja Palace is the only one that has delivered excellent, consistent quality for years. Definitely worth every visit!

I was very disappointed when I ordered from Maharaja Palace - the naan bread was rubbery and the butter chicken only tasted like tomatoes.

We've been here off and on over the years and it's always been good. But when we were there today and had naan, butter chicken, lamb biryani, a lassi and a marinated cheese as a starter, I have to say TOP. We eat Indian food often and a lot but Maharaja is now our number 1. Good food has become even better for us here. Thanks for that.

I only tasted Butter Chicken - I liked it, but it is a spicy dish, the level of perception of spiciness is an individual thing. The portion is very large. I ordered another salad, but the waiter forgot about this order, and when I saw a portion of chicken + a lot of rice, I decided not to remind, because 2 dishes for one person is too much. Prices are moderate.

I've eaten there again for probably 15 years. It was - just like back then - very, very tasty! This time it won't be that long until we eat here next time!

Dear Maharaja team, thank you very much for the great food and the quick delivery (approx. 30 minutes). Absolutely recommended, I order from you more often, consistent quality, not everyone can do that either.

We had to wait quite a long time (about an hour) for our food even though it wasn't particularly busy. Food was OK, but nothing spectacular. But the Mango Lassi is recommended. Service is pretty inattentive, rarely if ever stopping by.

Well I have to say it's pretty impressive that you can make a reservation there and then when you get there they tell you that the reservation doesn't exist. I don't know how this can happen logistically. Ok, we still got a table but then had to wait almost an hour for our food. The staff did not ask us about any concerns we may have. You have to say the food wasn't bad, but it wasn't really spectacular either. Overall, I'm disappointed and the only tip I can give is that the restaurant needs to adapt better

We are a little divided on this. I had the chicken mango curry and a mango lasso which were both great, my friend had a tandori mix where unfortunately some pieces were tough or gristly. We also ordered a butter naan as a starter. I know starters so you get them BEFORE the main course. The menu said that you get naan and basmati rice with the tandori and curry. We also got this with the main courses When we asked about the bill because the butter naan was listed as an extra 3.50, we were told rather rudely that we got it with our meal. We didn't feel like discussing things, but we didn't give a tip either. We probably wouldn't come back

Bread was okay. The rice didn't taste like anything, the chicken didn't taste fresh at all, nor did the sauce. Sauce was very sweet. Everything tasted like frozen food. Wouldn't order again

The Indian I trust, I order here monthly. I can particularly recommend the Karahi dishes and the Lassi Mango. The two Lieferando awards for the best delivery service in Nuremberg in recent years are absolutely justified, always high quality and consistently good delivery times.

I had ordered online - it was delivered on time - roti we’re burnt 🥵 which was disappointing and not eatable. - the rice was undercooked and curry wasn’t worth the price .

Despite delivery across half the city, we stayed under the specified hour and delivered an excellent lamb curry, baked cauliflower and fruit salad, a very tasty overall package, many thanks to this kitchen team, keep it up.

The food was fine. The best dish we ordered was baingan bharta. Bhindi was also fine but the chana masala I don't recommend. Chana masala was a bit bland. Also, the waiter who served us couldn't speak English 😵‍💫 I wonder how they handle only English speaking customers. Not really recommended but for cheap food and fine service, you can go.

Leckeres Essen, netter Service und ein gutes Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Große Auswahl an vegetarischen Gerichten. Auch beim Mittagsbuffet gibt es einen getrennten Bereich für vegetarische Gerichte. Es war zwar nicht immer alles gefüllt, wurde aber dann aber zügig nachgeholt. Besser so, als Lebensmittel zu verschwenden.

Malgré une arrivée tardive, nous avons été bien accueilli. Le service est à votre écoute et est au petit soins pour vous sans être pesant. Après avoir passé la commande grâce à une carte à l'offre très variées, vous pourrez commencer votre voyage culinaire, les plats sont délicieux, généreux et plein de saveurs.....et tout cela pour un très bon rapport qualité-prix. Lors de mon prochain séjour à Nuremberg, une visite dans ce temple des saveurs s'imposera d'elle même.

The mango lassi and chai was really good, we had butter naan, chilli naan and keema naan(take out). It tasted good, but probably dine-in will elevate it. The owner was Kind and the whole atmosphere was inviting.

Leider kann ich zum Essen und Service im Maharaja Palace nichts sagen: ganz einfach weil wir nicht hineindurften... Als ich dort anrief und zum Glück noch einmal nachfragte, ob wir mit unserem kleinen Hund kommen dürften, wurde mir gesagt, das sei "verboten". Da etwas so Selbstverständliches wie ein Restaurantbesuch mit vierbeinigem Familienmitglied dort nicht zugelassen ist (warum eigentlich?), kann ich leider zunächst keine bessere Note geben. Sollte das Restaurant seine Politik ändern und tierfreundlich werden, werde ich ihm gerne noch eine Chance geben.

Also das Essen war wirklich wirklich lecker ohne Frage. Die Auswahl war auch ausreichend genug, egal ob vegetarisch oder nicht. Der Service war auch wirklich nett und hat einen auch gerne bedient. Zum Ambiente muss ich sagen, die Sitznischen waren auch sehr gemütlich und die Gemälde haben eine schöne kulturelle Atmosphäre geschaffen. War mit meiner Freundin zum “All you can eat - Buffet” da und würde es auch gerne nochmal tun. Überzeugt euch selbst.

Der Koch ist verliebt :-) Selbst für mich als salzliebenden Menschen war das Essen doch recht salzlastig. Das galt auch für die anderen bestellten Gerichte und haben meine Freunde unaufgefordert so gesagt. Das ist recht schade, weil ich glaube, dass damit eine große Geschmacksvielfalt übertüncht wird. Ansonsten: Die Portionsgröße sind üppig. Das zusätzlich bestellte Naan war ebenfalls ausreichend und sehr lecker, das Fleisch war gut zubereitet. Vielleicht war der Tag, an dem wir dort gegessen haben, ein salziger Ausreißer. Bei der Vielfalt an anderen guten indischen Restaurants, werden wir das aber vermutlich keiner Übrprüfung unterziehen.

Sehr leckeres Essen zu fairen Preisen. Sehr freundliche Bedienung, komme gerne wieder. Tandori kann ich sehr empfehlen, das Hühnchen kommt dampfenden und mit einer sehr leckeren Soße dazu.

Kenne dieses Lokal lediglich über Lieferando und muss sagen, Absolut verdiente 5 Sterne. Preis Leistung Stimmt einfach und der Kundenservice ist prima. Wenn mal etwas nicht passt, kontaktieren Sie dich um eine Lösung zu finden und sind stets bemüht und freundlich. Bestelle dort auch regelmäßig. Kann nach über 10 Bestellungen in den letzten zwei Monaten nur sagen, probiert es einfach mal :) PS: Vegan, Vegetarisch und auch Butter-Chicken waren köstlich.

Sehr gut zu recht später Stunde gegessen. Chicken Curry/Mango Lassi kann ich empfehlen. Wurden äusserst freundlich empfangen und bedient.

Bis jetzt wiederholt das Mittagsangebot genutzt. Besteht aus drei-vier Gerichten zu denen man sich nach Lust und Laune Reis, Salat, gebackenes Gemüse mit verschiedenen Dipps nehmen kann. Es gibt auch immer auch Nachtisch, bis zu den ich es bis jetzt noch nie geschafft habe. Dieses Angebot und auch die gebotene Qualität finde ich sehr ansprechend. Update von 03.05.2023: Ursprünglich hatte ich an der Stelle Mal die Polsterung moniert die langsam in die Jahre gekommen ist. ABER ... Der Gastraum wurde wirklich hübsch erneuert. Besonders praktisch ist nun auch dir Nische in der das Buffet für den Mittagstisch aufgebaut ist - diese ist inzwischen ebenerdig zum Gastraum und damit um eine kleine und gemeine Stolperfalle entschärft, die kann nur zu gerne übersehen ist wenn man nur Blicke für das weiterhin extrem leckere Essen hat. Habt Ihr wirklich top gemacht und freue mich, dass Ihr weiterhin Euren guten Geschmack so aufrecht erhalten könnt!

Ich habe das Essen per Lieferando bestellt. Lieferung war pünktlich und sogar schneller, als die angegebene Zeit. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Ich kann das Butter Chicken zusammen mit Naan sehr empfehlen! Ich werde dort bestimmt nochmal bestellen. Für Indisch-Liebhaher ein muss

Ich hab 30 Jahre lang indische die Küche vermieden, weil ich kein Curry mag. Nun hat mein Freund mich überredet, das mal auszuprobieren. Und ja es gab in dem riesen Menü auch Gerichte ohne Curry 😂 angefangen habe wir somit mit der indischen Tradition Butter Chicken und dem Damm Chicken Biryani, dazu gab's als süßes Gulab Jamun und Lassi Mango. Also das essen war echt top! Super im Geschmack und kam warm hier an. Die Gulab waren für mich leider nix aber die Mango Lassi waren auch super lecker 😋 also nun konnte mich MAHARAJA PALACE für die indische Küche begeistern und wir bestellen safe öfters

Endlich mal wieder hier gegessen, oder vielmehr Essen abgeholt. Mittagsgericht M8 Lammcurry. Fantastischer Geschmack. Schnell zubereitet. Günstiger Preis. Portion reicht für 2. Fleisch fast durchgängig zart. Parkplatzsituation schlecht.

Ich habe mir eine als "knusprige Ente" deklarierte Ente bestellt. Dass das Gericht lauwarm war - naja - konnte man in der Mikrowelle heiß machen. Jedoch war die Ente alles andere als knusprig. Leider wurde ich das Gefühl nicht los, dass das Gericht evtl. schon ab und zu erhitzt wurde und dadurch die Qualität gelitten hat. Die Hälfte dieses Gerichts habe ich der Mülltonne "übergeben". Jedenfalls habe ich hier das erste und letzte Mal etwas bestellt. Ich habe das Essen über einen Lieferdienst liefern lassen, so dass ich zum Restaurant keine Angaben machen kann.
