There is extremely delicious Indian food here. The service was friendly and on point. In terms of price, the restaurant is sometimes a bit upscale, but the quality also matches. We'd love to come back.

Something beautiful, the decor itself creates an unforgettable atmosphere. The best Indian cuisine I have ever eaten. In Poland, nothing was even close.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience here. The service and food was exceptional! They have staff that speak English and are happy to recommend delicious options on their menu to suit your dietary needs.

It's good Indian food and friendly staff, but nothing outstanding. As almost every Indian restaurant in Germany is "Northern-Indian inspired" dishes that are considerably adapted to local ingredients and local taste. It all tasted good though and I especially liked that the Naan was not overly oily. When in Nürnberg, this is a solid option.

The food is super tasty, very Indian, something that almost doesn't exist in Munich anymore. The prices are very fair for the quality and quantity. The staff very attentive, quick and nice.

Amazing food, One of the best Indian food I had in Nürnberg. The karahi paneer, garlic naan and butter naan were amazing. I also had dal makhni but it wasn’t that great but still good.

An authentic Indian experience! I have rarely visited such a good Indian restaurant! The food was absolutely amazing - every dish we tried was full of flavors and seasoned to perfection. You can simply taste that there are chefs at work here who have their roots in India and know what traditional Indian cuisine should taste like. The service was extremely friendly and attentive, we felt welcome and comfortable from the first moment. Our questions about the dishes were answered patiently and special requests were fulfilled without any problems. Even the small details, such as regularly asking whether everything is OK, show that the guest is really being taken into consideration here. A real highlight for lovers of Indian cuisine! If you're looking for authentic food and excellent service, this is the place for you. I'll definitely be back!

We were there shortly after opening time and were immediately warmly welcomed. The waiters were very nice and accommodating. Our food came quickly and tasted very good 👍🏼 We had mango chicken and the lamb korma. Both dishes were well seasoned and had a very subtle spiciness. The price-performance ratio is good! Highly recommended.

It is a high quality restaurant for its price. The service is fast and the waiters are courteous. Toilets are extremely clean. The ambiance is perfect. Tea is great. Localization is very good. Hauptbahnhof is 100 meters away. I would recommend it to everyone .

It was my first experience of Indian food and i am very happy about that. So visited them again during my visit. Very delicious food, very friendly people working. Chicken tikky masala and mango cream are awesome! Others are also very nice!

Best Indian food we found in EU 🇪🇺 .Whenever we are on a holiday and we pass through Germany, we especially take a detour towards Neurenberg to have a little taste of India in this restaurant. Whenever I'm in Goa even then I have trouble finding the typical North-Indian & Punjabi flavours. But this restaurant definitely gives the feeling of being back in North India 🇮🇳. I highly recommend this place! ❤️

Excellent service and the food was spectacular each time. I had the tandoori chicken and the tikka masala another time. Finish with a mango lassi and everything is perfect.

Gave 1 star for the food quality. The chicken was not properly cooked. Even with knife couldn’t cut the piece properly. Mango Lassi was very watery. Good thing: the staff was responsive in correcting the issue. Gravy was good.

Ambience reminded me of fancy food streets with classic seating. Receiving was great and Service was super fast. The restaurant guys are polite and friendly. I expected a bit more taste but the food was decent and the quantity was good.

It doesn't look great from the outside, but once inside you are welcomed by wonderful spicy scents. We tried three different dishes, the tandoori mixed grill is definitely recommended, wonderfully seasoned. They also have dishes that are less spicy but are also very tasty. Service was fast and attentive.

Bin heute Mittag spontan zum Essen eingekehrt. Ich wollte mir etwas empfehlen lassen und habe den Fehler gemacht zu sagen, dass ich sehr gerne scharf esse, obwohl mir klar geworden ist, dass die Karte eher nordindisch mild angelegt ist. Für mich würde daher in der Küche gezaubert und ein Lammgericht verschärft. Das ganze war für mich perfekt gewürzt, dennoch war das Fleisch nicht würzig mariniert und ist daher ein bisschen untergegangen und hätte darüber hinaus etwas zarter sein können. Für den außergewöhnlichen Service gibt es ein Sonderlob, das Essen war, zum Großteil selbstverschuldet, nicht ganz perfekt.

We went to Kohinoor for dinner based on a recommendation from our hotel. Since we were there relatively late, there wasn't much going on, but the food was sensational! Service was super friendly. We will come more often.

Well you need a break from pasta pizza and bratwurst and so why not a curry! Yes and a very nice curry. A curry that actually had some heat to it. Not very not but still enough to produce a bit of a sniffle. Service very good and a quite quaffable white wine. Enjoy

The restaurant doesn't look like much from the outside and the somewhat dated but well-kept ambience may seem slightly kitschy a la Bollywood - but the food is sensational. Basically, we don't use ready-made products here; every sauce is prepared in-house, which is clearly visible in the dishes and, above all, clearly tasted. A pleasant alternative to the x pseudo-Indians, where "chicken korma" etc. almost always taste the same. Definitely not here. The picture shows the dishes 50+51.

We has to wait for a few hours to take our next flixbus to Hungary and we were very hungry, could not make a better decision to have dinner at this place. A lot of choice, vegan options, and a white housewine I would recommend. Very friendly staff also which made our evening complete.

American friends if you're tired of sausages just someplace is a good stop. Pretty decent Indian food. Full of spices and flavors. The atmosphere was actually pretty cool and cozy. Drinks are very very nice as well. The only issue that I had was the server asked the gender of my daughter.

Very good Indian restaurant right on the hotel mile by the train station. Air-conditioned, which we really liked when the outside temperature was 29 degrees. A menu that is not too extensive and the service provided is really extremely pleasant. I can highly recommend the chili chicken and the lamb dhansak, and the garlic and butter naan were also great. The chili chicken was too spicy for us and was taken back without hesitation and served back less spicy. When we asked for some yogurt, the waiter said that we had ordered chili chicken and not yogurt chicken, which we found very friendly and accommodating.

I have really eaten an incredible amount of Indian food and often. In many big cities, in Germany, abroad, etc. But what I was able to experience here today beats everything... it was the best Chicken Vindaloo I have ever eaten. Spicy, spicy, the chicken tender and just a dream. Unfortunately, we don't have this restaurant in Berlin, but if you want to eat out here in Nuremberg in a great ambience, with great service and authentic Indian cuisine that is second to none, this is the place to be. Mega recommendation!!! 👍👍👍 and 10 stars!!

Chicken was not cooked properly in the biriyani. Chicken soup was good and we had namkeen lassi which was good.

Excellent Indian cuisine, unfortunately we had someone with us who misjudged the spiciness of the food and it was taken straight to the kitchen and brought back milder, we then got a free drink as compensation, generally very attentive and polite. The ambience is very typically Indian and appears to have been furnished with love. The food was great and if you can't make it, they give it to you to go. Personally, I would recommend checking out the Tangaroo.

Good food, great service & atmosphere! Stopped for a quick dinner on our way & was never disappointed! Food was very good but be sure to ask what compliment comes along, like rice/naan. The ambience was very great & friendly service. The Briyani was good but could have been bit more spicier(we ordered medium spicy). Definitely worth trying & you would not be disappointed!

Great dinner - friendly staff who spoke reasonable English and the menu is in both German and English. The Chicken Karahi was good and they are fully licensed including offering a dark wheat beer. For some reason though, the restuarant address is correct and it's at the corner of Bahnhof Str. and Kate Strobel Str. The Trip Advisor map shows it some hundred yards away incorrectly in Sand strasse. Beware.

Very bad service. When I arrived at the half-empty restaurant late on Saturday evening and wanted to choose a free unreserved seat myself, the waiter insisted on giving me one himself. It's not necessarily a negative point if a proper reason is explained politely, but the manner was a bit unsympathetic. When I asked if I could have more or double sauce with my chicken tikka masala, I was told that it would cost €7.50 extra. I think I'm falling off my stool. €7.50 for a bit of extra tomato gravy. The masala itself was mediocre compared to other Indian cuisines or not necessarily the tastiest Indian food, but not the worst either. I had to wait a long time to get someone's attention again. I thought I was already forgotten. Then at some point I had to get up myself to ask for the bill. I wasn't offered dessert, which is another minus point.

A very nice restaurant! The atmosphere is very inviting, the service staff were courteous, very friendly and patient (although it took us a long time to decide on food and drinks). The food itself was a poem, the taste was really fantastic! The cocktails had lots of mint or orange, were very tasty and also visually eye-catching. I can definitely recommend Kohinoor.

Last Saturday, five other people and I visited your restaurant and I would like to share a few points regarding our experience. First of all I would like to emphasize that the ambience is outstanding and we ate inside. Service overall was pleasant, although some service staff gave the impression of being bored and slightly annoyed. Unfortunately, I personally wasn't impressed with my butter chicken. In terms of taste, I found it to be rather boring and the meat didn't seem fresh. I have worked in the butcher industry for over a decade and think I am a good judge of quality. My colleagues at the table were also not enthusiastic about the food. Another point is that the food sat in my stomach for quite a long time and it became unpleasant for the remaining hours of my evening. Others in our group also shared this feeling. Personally, I cannot understand the high ratings for your restaurant and it would be interesting to know why this particular restaurant is rated so positively, as this was one of the reasons for our choice. I hope this feedback is considered a constructive contribution.
