A fantastic restaurant. We stayed in the hotel next door. Even though we arrived with a small dog, we were allowed to bring them inside in the AC. Delicious food, great service, and friendly staff! It's also child-friendly, as the 4-year-old got ice cream 😉 Fantastic!

Quite busy at mealtimes. We made a reservation by email, as there were six of us. It worked out great. The service was very friendly. The food was delicious. The meat (lamb) was very tender. A tip: if it says it's spicy, it's spicy inside. And it's not suitable for Europeans. I highly recommend the restaurant.

The Indian restaurant Kohinoor is a real insider tip for anyone who loves authentic, aromatic cuisine. The service was impressive... our waiter was not only attentive but also really funny and created a great atmosphere at the table. An all-round successful evening... we'll definitely be back!

Excellent food, friendly staff, and air conditioned! Tried the following: Chicken Tikka - moist, and nice flavour. Comes with 3 different dipping sauces and they were all tasty Lamb Curry - generous portions of lamb, and the sauce is very tasty Butter Naan - fresh and soft I really enjoyed the food, and the staff were very friendly. The only odd experience was the vacuuming of the restaurant while we were eating. It shows they like to keep the place clean, but hopefully they can do it when customers aren’t present. I recommend coming here and enjoying the great food

I entered the restaurant and saw and smelled the aroma in the air. The Indian spices created a sensation I had never experienced before in my life. I had a dream about how I, as a boy, walked into an old Indian restaurant and ate and was enchanted. This was my experience, and I hope the same awaits you, too.

We were there spontaneously. We got a table without any problems. Everything was very clean. The service was excellent. When I ordered, I was informed that my food would be very spicy. I appreciated this warning. I really enjoyed the spicy food. The spiciness was just right. We'll be back when we're in Nuremberg again.

Last night, three of us spontaneously dropped by the restaurant. The atmosphere was great and we got a table right away. The very friendly, humorous waiter first asked for drinks and then immediately asked for our meal. Three drinks, three dishes, and a few extras. Both arrived within 10 minutes and were fantastic. The sauce and rice were served separately, the meat was juicy and tender, the sauce was perfectly seasoned, and the price was absolutely reasonable.

This is a fantastic I dian restaurant with a very authentic, comfortable interior. Highly recommend it!

After reading all the positive reviews, we decided to visit Kohinoor yesterday, which we'd only ever known from driving past. A fantastic experience! Great and attentive service, fine food, and a new approach to drinks. Warm Indian rum as an aperitif and a mango-coconut cocktail were real highlights. A traditional samosa as a starter, served classically with various sauces/dips, followed by main courses (lamb, duck) with the usual rich spices – we felt like we were in India. Subtle background music, the decor, as always, is a matter of taste; we found it too over-the-top, hence our "deduction." We happily agree 100% with the positive recommendations we've read.

Stopped here on our way to Prague and decided to Satisfy our tastebuds with some home like Indian food. I must say that this place did not disappoint at all. We ordered the lunch menu and enjoyed every bit of it. Being four of us we each ordered a separate dish and were surprised to find each dish having its unique taste which reminded us of food back home. Also loved the presentation as you can see in the pic..Additionally the host attended to us very well and we had a lovely chat regarding food taste back home in Punjab… Cheers and keep on doing well

I ordered Korma to-go. Huge portion, but tasted totally like mango. I had imagined it differently. The chicken meat was very firm, I didn't like it either. Naan bread was very tasty. Staff was very nice. Price in my opinion too high for the quality.

Hello friends, very pleasantly delicious curries. Well seasoned and not weak in taste. Butter the bread and just smack it into the curry with your right hand...it was fun. I was at the zoo and on the way back I thought I would eat something different. The guys and girls in service...really on the ball and friendly. It probably doesn't get any better than this, even if they really try to! Very friendly and attentive service, wonderful ambience with unobtrusive, subtle music, and the food was always on the table very quickly. And of course it tasted fantastic too! Thank you for the wonderful time at Kohinoor!

I head one cappuccino cafe it’s was not good i don’t know why but not testy for me and mango juice was good .

Kahinoor Indian Restaurant directly opposite Nuremberg Central Station really surprised me positively! Rather inconspicuous from the outside, a cozy atmosphere and extremely friendly service await you inside. The staff was attentive, warm and quick - you immediately feel welcome. The food was excellent: authentic, freshly prepared and wonderfully seasoned. I can especially recommend the butter chicken and the freshly baked naan bread. A real highlight for lovers of Indian cuisine and definitely 5 out of 5 stars for me! I'd love to come back.

1 escocés, 2 ingleses, y 4 colegas chinos, todos de acuerdo, esta fue una de las mejores comidas indias que hemos tenido en mucho tiempo. este restaurante de gestión familiar sirvió comida india adecuada (a diferencia de Bangladesh o Pakistán). El mango lassi era súper. Los entrantes eran muy sabrosos, y la red vino con la variedad de calor justo. El servicio fue ejemplar, el personal era muy amable y eficiente, y todo eso contribuyó a que fuera una noche fabulosa. Muy recomendable.

The restaurant is close to the rail station. The atmosphere is very great and the indian setting is amazing. Food is very good and stuff very friendly and nice. The prices are really okay compared to other places in the city. A great choice if you are around.

I had lunch here with the company. We were 9 people and received a very friendly welcome. The restaurant is nicely decorated. The food is freshly prepared and was needed after a short wait and presented very attractively. The taste was better than expected for a lunch menu. Unfortunately you have to order and pay for the naan bread separately. Everyone enjoyed it. That's the main thing.

I recently visited Kohinoor Tandoori Restaurant in Nürnberg, and it was a delightful experience! I ordered Mango Lassi, Chicken Tikka, and Chicken Karahi with Garlic Naan. Everything was absolutely delicious! The Mango Lassi was refreshing, the Chicken Tikka was perfectly spiced, and the Chicken Karahi was full of authentic flavors. The Garlic Naan complemented the meal perfectly. The service was excellent, and the ambiance made the experience even better. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Indian cuisine. A must-visit restaurant!

Recientemente visité el restaurante Kohinoor Tandoori en Nuremberg, y fue una experiencia encantadora! Pedí Mango Lassi, Pollo Tikka y Pollo Karahi con Ajo Naan. Todo estaba absolutamente delicioso! El Mango Lassi era refrescante, el Pollo Tikka estaba perfectamente condimentado y el Pollo Karahi estaba lleno de auténticos sabores. El ajo Naan complementó la comida perfectamente. El servicio fue excelente, y el ambiente hizo la experiencia aún mejor. Recomiendo encarecidamente este lugar para cualquiera que busque disfrutar de la auténtica cocina india. I stayed near this place during a business trip. My plan was to quickly grab something to eat there, maybe to take away. But immediately after getting there, I wanted to stay there. The atmosphere is inviting and nice. All clean and neat. I had 2 side dishes and a main course, all vegetarian, so I can't tell you anything about the quality or taste of the meat dishes. But what I had was superb. The waiters where very hospitable and the service was on top. The Kohinoor will see me again for sure!

The Kohinoor is always on the agenda for my colleagues and me when we are in Nuremberg for a trade fair and stay in one of the hotels opposite. The food was always great and the service was very hospitable and accommodating. I remember one visit where I tasted a very hot pepperoni that was obviously only on the dish for decoration. The attentive staff immediately noticed the predicament I had gotten myself into and that I wasn't feeling well. She rushed over with a glass of mango lassi to literally defuse the situation and I immediately felt better again so that I could enjoy the rest of my meal and the evening again. If I remember correctly, this emergency mango lassi wasn't even on the bill at the end. That was really great. We will definitely come back whenever we visit Nuremberg.

If I can give minus points, I write -10. Already at the door the waiter asked us - to eat or drink? If only drinking then only 20 minutes, with an explanation that we had taken a table. OK. The restaurant was absolutely empty. Very unfriendly and nasty excuse, we were incredibly disappointed and excited. I don't particularly like Indian cuisine, not much at the moment.
