I recently visited Kohinoor Tandoori Restaurant in Nürnberg, and it was a delightful experience! I ordered Mango Lassi, Chicken Tikka, and Chicken Karahi with Garlic Naan. Everything was absolutely delicious! The Mango Lassi was refreshing, the Chicken Tikka was perfectly spiced, and the Chicken Karahi was full of authentic flavors. The Garlic Naan complemented the meal perfectly. The service was excellent, and the ambiance made the experience even better. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Indian cuisine. A must-visit restaurant!

Recientemente visité el restaurante Kohinoor Tandoori en Nuremberg, y fue una experiencia encantadora! Pedí Mango Lassi, Pollo Tikka y Pollo Karahi con Ajo Naan. Todo estaba absolutamente delicioso! El Mango Lassi era refrescante, el Pollo Tikka estaba perfectamente condimentado y el Pollo Karahi estaba lleno de auténticos sabores. El ajo Naan complementó la comida perfectamente. El servicio fue excelente, y el ambiente hizo la experiencia aún mejor. Recomiendo encarecidamente este lugar para cualquiera que busque disfrutar de la auténtica cocina india. Of 4 different dishes, each one was delicious. Absolutely attractively presented, fresh, vegetables had a perfect bite, spices were wonderful. We absolutely loved all the lassi and desserts. Very nice people who helped me choose. Best Indian place I have ever visited. I hope I have something to do in Nuremberg again :-)

The food is magical, with a very tasty and special flavor... The waiters and waitresses are very helpful and attentive... The food arrived at the table very quickly and that made me feel more comfortable... The restaurant is cozy and very warm in the European winter... I recommend it, it is one of the best Indian restaurants I have ever had the honor and pleasure of eating and visiting... Thank you all!

I stayed near this place during a business trip. My plan was to quickly grab something to eat there, maybe to take away. But immediately after getting there, I wanted to stay there. The atmosphere is inviting and nice. All clean and neat. I had 2 side dishes and a main course, all vegetarian, so I can't tell you anything about the quality or taste of the meat dishes. But what I had was superb. The waiters where very hospitable and the service was on top. The Kohinoor will see me again for sure!

The Kohinoor is always on the agenda for my colleagues and me when we are in Nuremberg for a trade fair and stay in one of the hotels opposite. The food was always great and the service was very hospitable and accommodating. I remember one visit where I tasted a very hot pepperoni that was obviously only on the dish for decoration. The attentive staff immediately noticed the predicament I had gotten myself into and that I wasn't feeling well. She rushed over with a glass of mango lassi to literally defuse the situation and I immediately felt better again so that I could enjoy the rest of my meal and the evening again. If I remember correctly, this emergency mango lassi wasn't even on the bill at the end. That was really great. We will definitely come back whenever we visit Nuremberg.

Very good service and food. We received our drinks within 10 minutes and the food came in less than 20 minutes. The waiter was very attentive. Food was excellent. We had lamb and chicken. Highly recommended.

We found the restaurant by chance as we were staying nearby. It was such a wonderful surprise - the food was delicious and presented beautifully. We ordered three different dishes, we loved all of them. The staff is really attentive and took care of our special allergy- related request.

If I can give minus points, I write -10. Already at the door the waiter asked us - to eat or drink? If only drinking then only 20 minutes, with an explanation that we had taken a table. OK. The restaurant was absolutely empty. Very unfriendly and nasty excuse, we were incredibly disappointed and excited. I don't particularly like Indian cuisine, not much at the moment.

Very authentic taste of dishes. It was our second visit to Nuremberg and looked forward to dining in again at Kohinoor, was not disappointed. The naan is thin and soft as it should be. Upon request they prepared the dishes as per our spice level. The location is great! Hospitality is amazing.

Good ambience, friendly staff, clean facilities. Strangely each dish eg daal/curry came with a rice portion but we could not swap with a roti. Good veg options and tasty food! Spice levels were exactly as promised! Highly recommend!

Vriendelijk ontvangen, menukaart in Duits en Engels. Ruime tafels. Bediening en keuken zijn vlot. De wijn uit India was oprecht goed te drinken. Voor-, hoofd-, en nagerecht waren gewoon goed.

Personally, I think Kohinoor and the other branch, Ganesha, are great. The food is super delicious! The staff pays attention to everything and also takes care if you cannot tolerate gluten. Takeaway is also possible.

I called the restaurant to complaint regarding an order. The owner of the restaurant received the call. He was very impolite and rude throughout the conversation. Instead of listening to the issue he started shouting and swearing on the call. Very bad customer service

Me and my friends went to eat in this restaurant last night. This guy give us cold food when we told him the food was cold. He got very aggressive said he was going to put us through the window and he hit my friend a punch in the jaw. My friend had to go to the hospital please do not go to this restaurant very aggressive people

It's good Indian food and friendly staff, but nothing outstanding. As almost every Indian restaurant in Germany is "Northern-Indian inspired" dishes that are considerably adapted to local ingredients and local taste. It all tasted good though and I especially liked that the Naan was not overly oily. When in Nürnberg, this is a solid option.

The food is super tasty, very Indian, something that almost doesn't exist in Munich anymore. The prices are very fair for the quality and quantity. The staff very attentive, quick and nice.

An authentic Indian experience! I have rarely visited such a good Indian restaurant! The food was absolutely amazing - every dish we tried was full of flavors and seasoned to perfection. You can simply taste that there are chefs at work here who have their roots in India and know what traditional Indian cuisine should taste like. The service was extremely friendly and attentive, we felt welcome and comfortable from the first moment. Our questions about the dishes were answered patiently and special requests were fulfilled without any problems. Even the small details, such as regularly asking whether everything is OK, show that the guest is really being taken into consideration here. A real highlight for lovers of Indian cuisine! If you're looking for authentic food and excellent service, this is the place for you. I'll definitely be back!

We were there shortly after opening time and were immediately warmly welcomed. The waiters were very nice and accommodating. Our food came quickly and tasted very good 👍🏼 We had mango chicken and the lamb korma. Both dishes were well seasoned and had a very subtle spiciness. The price-performance ratio is good! Highly recommended.

It was my first experience of Indian food and i am very happy about that. So visited them again during my visit. Very delicious food, very friendly people working. Chicken tikky masala and mango cream are awesome! Others are also very nice!

It is a high quality restaurant for its price. The service is fast and the waiters are courteous. Toilets are extremely clean. The ambiance is perfect. Tea is great. Localization is very good. Hauptbahnhof is 100 meters away. I would recommend it to everyone .

Best Indian food we found in EU 🇪🇺 .Whenever we are on a holiday and we pass through Germany, we especially take a detour towards Neurenberg to have a little taste of India in this restaurant. Whenever I'm in Goa even then I have trouble finding the typical North-Indian & Punjabi flavours. But this restaurant definitely gives the feeling of being back in North India 🇮🇳. I highly recommend this place! ❤️

Gave 1 star for the food quality. The chicken was not properly cooked. Even with knife couldn’t cut the piece properly. Mango Lassi was very watery. Good thing: the staff was responsive in correcting the issue. Gravy was good.

Ambience reminded me of fancy food streets with classic seating. Receiving was great and Service was super fast. The restaurant guys are polite and friendly. I expected a bit more taste but the food was decent and the quantity was good.

It doesn't look great from the outside, but once inside you are welcomed by wonderful spicy scents. We tried three different dishes, the tandoori mixed grill is definitely recommended, wonderfully seasoned. They also have dishes that are less spicy but are also very tasty. Service was fast and attentive.

Bin heute Mittag spontan zum Essen eingekehrt. Ich wollte mir etwas empfehlen lassen und habe den Fehler gemacht zu sagen, dass ich sehr gerne scharf esse, obwohl mir klar geworden ist, dass die Karte eher nordindisch mild angelegt ist. Für mich würde daher in der Küche gezaubert und ein Lammgericht verschärft. Das ganze war für mich perfekt gewürzt, dennoch war das Fleisch nicht würzig mariniert und ist daher ein bisschen untergegangen und hätte darüber hinaus etwas zarter sein können. Für den außergewöhnlichen Service gibt es ein Sonderlob, das Essen war, zum Großteil selbstverschuldet, nicht ganz perfekt.

The restaurant doesn't look like much from the outside and the somewhat dated but well-kept ambience may seem slightly kitschy a la Bollywood - but the food is sensational. Basically, we don't use ready-made products here; every sauce is prepared in-house, which is clearly visible in the dishes and, above all, clearly tasted. A pleasant alternative to the x pseudo-Indians, where "chicken korma" etc. almost always taste the same. Definitely not here. The picture shows the dishes 50+51.

We has to wait for a few hours to take our next flixbus to Hungary and we were very hungry, could not make a better decision to have dinner at this place. A lot of choice, vegan options, and a white housewine I would recommend. Very friendly staff also which made our evening complete.

Very good Indian restaurant right on the hotel mile by the train station. Air-conditioned, which we really liked when the outside temperature was 29 degrees. A menu that is not too extensive and the service provided is really extremely pleasant. I can highly recommend the chili chicken and the lamb dhansak, and the garlic and butter naan were also great. The chili chicken was too spicy for us and was taken back without hesitation and served back less spicy. When we asked for some yogurt, the waiter said that we had ordered chili chicken and not yogurt chicken, which we found very friendly and accommodating.

American friends if you're tired of sausages just someplace is a good stop. Pretty decent Indian food. Full of spices and flavors. The atmosphere was actually pretty cool and cozy. Drinks are very very nice as well. The only issue that I had was the server asked the gender of my daughter.

I have really eaten an incredible amount of Indian food and often. In many big cities, in Germany, abroad, etc. But what I was able to experience here today beats everything... it was the best Chicken Vindaloo I have ever eaten. Spicy, spicy, the chicken tender and just a dream. Unfortunately, we don't have this restaurant in Berlin, but if you want to eat out here in Nuremberg in a great ambience, with great service and authentic Indian cuisine that is second to none, this is the place to be. Mega recommendation!!! 👍👍👍 and 10 stars!!
