The staff will make you sit at a specific table ( always tge one that u dont want to sit on ), even when the restaurant is empty.

We were VERY satisfied with the food, the quality of the dishes, and the service. We ordered three different dishes. My wife found the "mildly spicy" dish a bit too hot. The waiter immediately responded and offered to tone down the spiciness. In the end, we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We ended up at the restaurant by chance. The ambiance is also lovely. I was just a little surprised that the restaurant wasn't more crowded, given its prime location. The price-performance ratio is fair. In my opinion, it's excellent value for money.

There were a few communication difficulties at first, but that was quickly resolved. I've been there four times now and it's always absolutely delicious 😍

Dropped by to get some nice Indian food to go: the atmosphere was calm and very welcoming to begin with. The staff was so nice and friendly that they even gave me a seat to wait for my order. Not only that, I was able to get some lovely mango drink upon waiting for my food. And speaking of food; food was absolutely delicious. No words can't describe how good it is to get good and authentic Indian cuisine. Can't recommend it enough to go there. They also can speak English too if German and Hindi if that makes you worried.

The food tasted good, however, something was missing from the order. I pointed out several times that I have an almond allergy, and yet almonds were still used as a topping. As a result, I couldn't enjoy my meal and couldn't finish it. Please be careful next time.

We ordered Chicken Karahi, Butter Chicken, Garlic and regular Naan, Kheera Raita, and Vegetarian Kofta online. The food, absolutely everything, was delicious and very flavorful, much better than at other established Indian restaurants. An absolute recommendation!

We just entered Nuremberg from Prague. Being hungry and looking for lunch we went to Kohinoor which is at a very prominent location. Excellent food and very authentic Indian delicacies we had. The taste of the food was simply outstanding. Plus the hospitality from Ketansingh made us feel very homely. Great dine in experience !!

A fantastic restaurant. We stayed in the hotel next door. Even though we arrived with a small dog, we were allowed to bring them inside in the AC. Delicious food, great service, and friendly staff! It's also child-friendly, as the 4-year-old got ice cream 😉 Fantastic!

Quite busy at mealtimes. We made a reservation by email, as there were six of us. It worked out great. The service was very friendly. The food was delicious. The meat (lamb) was very tender. A tip: if it says it's spicy, it's spicy inside. And it's not suitable for Europeans. I highly recommend the restaurant.

The Indian restaurant Kohinoor is a real insider tip for anyone who loves authentic, aromatic cuisine. The service was impressive... our waiter was not only attentive but also really funny and created a great atmosphere at the table. An all-round successful evening... we'll definitely be back!

Excellent food, friendly staff, and air conditioned! Tried the following: Chicken Tikka - moist, and nice flavour. Comes with 3 different dipping sauces and they were all tasty Lamb Curry - generous portions of lamb, and the sauce is very tasty Butter Naan - fresh and soft I really enjoyed the food, and the staff were very friendly. The only odd experience was the vacuuming of the restaurant while we were eating. It shows they like to keep the place clean, but hopefully they can do it when customers aren’t present. I recommend coming here and enjoying the great food

I entered the restaurant and saw and smelled the aroma in the air. The Indian spices created a sensation I had never experienced before in my life. I had a dream about how I, as a boy, walked into an old Indian restaurant and ate and was enchanted. This was my experience, and I hope the same awaits you, too.

We were there spontaneously. We got a table without any problems. Everything was very clean. The service was excellent. When I ordered, I was informed that my food would be very spicy. Last night, three of us spontaneously dropped by the restaurant. The atmosphere was great and we got a table right away. The very friendly, humorous waiter first asked for drinks and then immediately asked for our meal. Three drinks, three dishes, and a few extras. Both arrived within 10 minutes and were fantastic. The sauce and rice were served separately, the meat was juicy and tender, the sauce was perfectly seasoned, and the price was absolutely reasonable.

After reading all the positive reviews, we decided to visit Kohinoor yesterday, which we'd only ever known from driving past. A fantastic experience! Great and attentive service, fine food, and a new approach to drinks. Warm Indian rum as an aperitif and a mango-coconut cocktail were real highlights. A traditional samosa as a starter, served classically with various sauces/dips, followed by main courses (lamb, duck) with the usual rich spices – we felt like we were in India. Subtle background music, the decor, as always, is a matter of taste; we found it too over-the-top, hence our "deduction." We happily agree 100% with the positive recommendations we've read.

Stopped here on our way to Prague and decided to Satisfy our tastebuds with some home like Indian food. I must say that this place did not disappoint at all. We ordered the lunch menu and enjoyed every bit of it. Being four of us we each ordered a separate dish and were surprised to find each dish having its unique taste which reminded us of food back home. Also loved the presentation as you can see in the pic..Additionally the host attended to us very well and we had a lovely chat regarding food taste back home in Punjab… Cheers and keep on doing well

I ordered Korma to-go. Huge portion, but tasted totally like mango. I had imagined it differently. The chicken meat was very firm, I didn't like it either. Naan bread was very tasty. Staff was very nice. Price in my opinion too high for the quality.

Hello friends, very pleasantly delicious curries. Well seasoned and not weak in taste. Butter the bread and just smack it into the curry with your right hand...it was fun. I was at the zoo and on the way back I thought I would eat something different. The guys and girls in service...really on the ball and friendly. Kahinoor Indian Restaurant directly opposite Nuremberg Central Station really surprised me positively! Rather inconspicuous from the outside, a cozy atmosphere and extremely friendly service await you inside. The staff was attentive, warm and quick - you immediately feel welcome. The food was excellent: authentic, freshly prepared and wonderfully seasoned. I can especially recommend the butter chicken and the freshly baked naan bread. A real highlight for lovers of Indian cuisine and definitely 5 out of 5 stars for me! I'd love to come back.

1 escocés, 2 ingleses, y 4 colegas chinos, todos de acuerdo, esta fue una de las mejores comidas indias que hemos tenido en mucho tiempo. este restaurante de gestión familiar sirvió comida india adecuada (a diferencia de Bangladesh o Pakistán). El mango lassi era súper. Los entrantes eran muy sabrosos, y la red vino con la variedad de calor justo. El servicio fue ejemplar, el personal era muy amable y eficiente, y todo eso contribuyó a que fuera una noche fabulosa. Muy recomendable.

The restaurant is close to the rail station. The atmosphere is very great and the indian setting is amazing. Food is very good and stuff very friendly and nice. The prices are really okay compared to other places in the city. A great choice if you are around.
