Große Auswahl, super frische und authentische indische Gerichte und dazu noch sehr günstige Preise. Die Portionen sind großzügig und der Service freundlich. Absolut empfehlenswert, wir kommen gerne wieder!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Auf dem Rückweg zu unserem Hotel sind wir zufällig auf das Maharadsch in Berlin-Moabit gestoßen – und was für eine tolle Entdeckung! Das Essen war einfach hervorragend: unglaublich lecker, frisch und die Portionen sind wirklich großzügig. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist kaum zu glauben – so gutes Essen zu diesen Preisen findet man nur selten. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den jungen Kellner. Er war sehr freundlich, sympathisch und äußerst aufmerksam. Man fühlt sich sofort willkommen und merkt, dass hier Gastfreundschaft großgeschrieben wird. Wir kommen bei unserem nächsten Berlin-Besuch auf jeden Fall wieder. Eine absolute Empfehlung für alle, die authentische indische Küche in gemütlicher Atmosphäre genießen möchten!

Es war das beste indische Essen, das ich in Berlin gegessen habe. Der Reis war köstlich und hat hervorragend zum Curry gepasst.

Der Preis war super, und Geschmack und Portionsgröße waren hervorragend. Das Essen kam schnell, und die Bedienung war so freundlich, dass ich sehr zufrieden gegangen bin. Das Hühnercurry war köstlich, und das Butter-Naan war auch fantastisch! Ich komme bestimmt wieder!

Ich war kürzlich im indischen Restaurant Maharadsch und bin wirklich begeistert. Schon beim Betreten wurde ich freundlich empfangen und habe mich direkt wohlgefühlt. Das Ambiente ist gemütlich, authentisch und lädt dazu ein, den Abend entspannt zu genießen. Das Essen war hervorragend: frisch zubereitet, aromatisch gewürzt und geschmacklich absolut überzeugend. Besonders die Currys waren unglaublich lecker und perfekt abgestimmt – weder zu mild noch zu scharf, sondern genau richtig. Auch das Naan-Brot war frisch, warm und richtig fluffig. Der Service war aufmerksam, freundlich und schnell, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Man merkt, dass hier mit Herz gearbeitet wird. Insgesamt ein tolles Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und definitiv ein Restaurant, das ich wieder besuchen werde. Wer indische Küche liebt (oder sie kennenlernen möchte), ist hier genau richtig. Absolute Empfehlung!

Es war ein rundum gelungenes Abendessen. Die Gerichte schmecken sehr gut, die Portionsgrößen sind sehr gut und die Mitarbeiter sind wirklich aufmerksam und schnell. Es wurde u.a. gefragt ob ich noch etwas mehr Reis möchte was ich sehr positiv fand. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut. Zum Abschluss des Essens gab es noch einen Mango-Shot und Täfelchen After Eight. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder!!!! Das Essen und der Service waren fantastisch. Ich hoffe, ihr trefft den Besitzer, Abbas, bei eurem Besuch. Er war unglaublich aufmerksam und hat uns so freundlich bedient (selbst als wir mehrere Änderungen an unserer Bestellung vorgenommen haben)! Wir haben uns dann mit ihm und den Leuten am Nachbartisch unterhalten und neue Freunde in dieser Stadt kennengelernt.

Seit Jahrzehnten mein liebstes indisches Restaurant, komme auch immer wieder hierher, obwohl ich nicht mehr in der Nähe wohne. Das Essen ist immer hervorragend, Service und Freundlichkeit hervorragend und man fühlt sich in dem schicken Ambiente einfach wohl. Auch unser indischer Besuch, den wir einmal hierher geführt haben, war sehr angetan. Man sitzt im Sommer sehr schön draußen mit Blick auf die sehenswerten Gründerzeitfassaden der gegenüberliegenden Altbauhäuser. Ich kann das Maharadsch zu 100% weiterempfehlen!

Ich komme schon seit über 30 Jahren in das Restaurant. Es bietet eine herausragende kulinarische Erfahrung. Das Ambiente ist einladend und geschmackvoll, während das Personal freundlich und aufmerksam ist. Die Preise sind super, hatten das Butter Chicken und das Chicken Korma - beide Gerichte perfekt zubereitet. Der Mango-Lassie und die Coctails waren win erfrischender Genuss. Gerne wieder :)

Anyone who really wants to enjoy Indian food should definitely go to Maharaj's. Hygiene and cleanliness are top-notch. The food is, as always, delicious.

Original authentic Indian food and the Kellner was super friendly and professional.

Worst place ever! They sell pizzas etc. through delivery services in the background. The bartender is nice and polite, but the owner or someone like that is arrogant, disrespectful, and rude.

The appetizers, Samosa and Gobi Pakora, had no flavor! The main course, two Subji dishes, were completely tasteless, and all the salads, side dishes, and sauces were simply unseasoned. What's going on with you guys? That was 35 euros down the drain! 😤 The owner should check the food coming out of his kitchen!

Fabulous Indian restaurant. We had dinner there on New Year's Eve, escaping the hustle and bustle of the city center, and it was a great choice. Food, service, value for money… everything was fantastic. We recommend it 100%!

I've been a regular customer for over 20 years, and the quality and service have always been wonderful. None of those somewhat dubious "Indian" restaurants with sticky tables. I hadn't been here for a while, and today I remembered I could come again. And as always, the quality was outstanding, the service absolutely delightful. Quick, uncomplicated, and friendly. And the prices really aren't high. I think it would be reasonable if everything were two euros more. But that's just my opinion. I'll be coming more often now. Thank you to the team for the delicious food and the lovely service.

The food at Maharaj is consistently delicious and boasts authentic flavors. The fresh, large Bahtura breads are a particular highlight and highly recommended. It's also very convenient that you can pick up your order directly on-site. A big plus is the bonus point system on the website, which offers regular customers a great discount on future orders. Unfortunately, one point is deducted for the ambiance. The decor looks a bit dated, and the lighting isn't particularly cozy. However, if you primarily value excellent Indian food and are willing to overlook the aesthetics, this is the place for you!

I went there to have Veg Briyani. Literally the worst Briyani I have ever had in my life. It was not even a briyani just stale rice mixed with some semi cooked vegetables. They didn't even served the raita with briyani. And the irony is I had the best briyani in a nearby restaurant located just a building away 2 days back. Seeing the cheaper pricing of foods I thought about giving this restaurant a try. But it was a mistake. Don't see 2-3 euros you will save. Just go to Lal Haweli which is situated just beside the restaurant. The difference in quality of food is just incomparable.

Nice restaurant on Gotzkowskystr. Perfect to eat in the summer evenings and watch what's going on. Delicious food - and special requests are also possible.

I've been here many many many times! I always come for the most amazing butter chicken I've ever had - like EVER! The cocktails are amazing as well and at 5,50€ such a good price! The mango lassi is also so good. I always come back because the experience itself is so lovely. The staff is amazing and very attentive. The owner is so sweet and kind. I came here with family, friends, dates, ... even the smaller children love it here even though they are picky eaters. The staff make everyone feel so welcome and happy. The atmosphere is so special, lovely and you feel right at home. Now that I've been thinking about the butter chicken I'm hungry... if that doesn't say it all...

Super delicious food! I've eaten there a few times and every time it's been delicious and I've always left full and satisfied. I can especially recommend the naan. I've ordered there from time to time and it always comes with a free salad and a papadum, that's really great service! Plus, always on time! Don't be put off if the restaurant is sometimes quite empty. Moabit is not a nightlife district, so there aren't many guests there. But that has nothing to do with the quality of the restaurant. It's also very inexpensive, you can get away for under €20. Definitely try it out, it's worth it!!

I recently visited this restaurant with high hopes of enjoying some authentic Indian cuisine, but my experience was far from what I anticipated. This is not authentic Indian, bangaldeshi masquerading as Indian. To start, I ordered the samosas, which were touted as a house specialty. Unfortunately, they arrived lukewarm and lacking in flavor. The filling was bland, and the pastry was soggy rather than crispy, making for a disappointing first impression. I expected a burst of spices and warmth, but instead, it felt like I was eating a poorly made snack that was far from traditional. Adding to the disappointment was the service. The staff appeared disinterested and dismissive. When I politely mentioned my concerns about the samosas, I was met with a rude response that felt more like an annoyance than an attempt to address my feedback. It was clear that customer satisfaction was not a priority here. Overall, my experience was underwhelming and frustrating. With so many fantastic Indian restaurants out there, I wouldn't recommend this one. If you're looking for great food and good service, it's best to look elsewhere.

I didn't visit the restaurant myself, I ordered through Uber Eat. The order was canceled without any reason or warning, so I couldn't find any information about this hotel. Still contacted through customer service. It's really unimaginable.
