The food was very delicious, I visit first time here and my experience is very nice with madras, highly recommend!!

Food was not so tasty , mostly masala dosa . But service was fantastic with india girls . She was very polite and helpful. We will try again.

There was a sweetness in the dosa and idli. The food was ok. Maybe it’s my taste buds.

Found a piece of chicken in Matar Paneer ⚠️🚨 We were frequent in this restaurant until we found a piece of Chicken in the Paneer. It happend in our online order and they refused to acknowledge their fault, which was even worse.

Super delicious Indian food in Berlin! We had the lunch special including soup, rice, and salad at a great price! The food was more than plentiful and absolutely delicious. We'll definitely be back 🌞

There's a strong fecal odor coming from the toilets, unbearable. They should renovate the toilets.

I really liked this place for the quality of Indian food. If I have had authentic indian food after India, it is here. Liked the service and atmosphere too. Totally worth the money.

Not good for south Indian food. I had idli vada and Mysore masala dosa here. Idli was not soft and dosa was very souring and I couldn't take a second bite. I will not recommend for south Indian food though the restaurant is named madras cafe. I liked the tea very much. I ordered twice and they gave me a complimentary tea as well. But I have to be honest in my review that are not good for south Indian food.

I went there to try Kulcha that they had on their menu before but is now removed to had to settle for masala dosa, cheese dosa and uthappam. I had masala dosa and the dosa was good, chutney was good but the sambhar was totally un-eatable, it was the opinion of me and my daughter as well. Kids can't lie or pretend to enjoy the food when it is not well done, she enjoyed the cheese dosa but could not stand the sambhar, which was also bad for the uthappam and overall a bit too pricey. Also at the end of the meal the waiter asked if we wanted tea, having drinking coca cola large with our meal tea is not something i would like but the waiter insisted that it is complimentary as if i could not pay for it if i wanted to drink it. Plus they have kept nice plates on the table but serve food in cheap Langar quality metal plates with little dents to put sambhar and chutney, at least put sambhar in katoris. Avoid this place for dosa, a much better dosa and sambhar awaits you at masala imbiss at weisensee.

Food here reminds you of home, maybe even better. Great hospitality. Dosas and tandoor dishes are worth it. Must try. Everything tasted fresh. I got served ginger milk tea (adrak vali chai) which hit the correct spots.

As Indians we recommend this place. Authentic cuisine, best dosa and idli. Better than any other restaurants in Berlin. Service was on point, staff very friendly and kind.

Recently went to this restaurant. Worst experience. We saw the rating and assumed as stated , authentic South Indian . Please don’t try there South Indian at all. They don’t know how to make it. Dosa was sour . Sambar was not even closer to sambar , it was proper arhar dal with Daniya on it. Dal which you normally have it with rice. If someone says , it’s authentic south food then it’s a surprise as a basic sambar Also they can’t make. Vada full of oil. Didn’t look or tasted fresh at all. Won’t ever go here again.

I felt very comfortable and the food was delicious. The portion sizes were perfect.

We were in a bit of a hurry a while ago and asked them to be as considerate as possible. They were very cooperative and provided friendly and considerate service despite a busy room. The food was good, but for me, the excellent service was the most important thing.

If you really want to eat Indian food and don't want to fall victim to the same old menus at regular Indian restaurants, you can't go past the Madras Cafe. Here you can find interesting, original South Indian dishes, with variations and spices that you're not used to (as a tip for something less familiar, I can recommend the Pani Puri starter). Everything is super fresh and absolutely delicious, vegetarians get their money's worth here too, and the staff are super friendly. We've been here a few times now, and every time it's something special. Highly recommended!!! Update: The incredible chefs simply deliver a masterpiece every time. Yesterday I had the Chennai Birjani, it was so good, I don't understand at all why there are always more people sitting opposite when the food is just the same as everywhere else.

Come here quite often with my love and we both love the food SO MUCH and people working here are so lovely… the biryani is mind blowing , everything is good !

I have rarely met such nice service, the friendly waitresses often asked us if everything was OK. The food was tasty and there are South Indian specialties that are rarely found, such as Uttapam. I wanted to try this and wasn't disappointed, delicious, hot, seasoned, mmmh. Matar paneer was also amazing. If you want to eat real Indian food you have come to the right place!!!

We ate authentic south Indian and surprisingly north Indian dishes too tasted good which is not the case with many other south indian restaurants in Germany.

Very nice resturant. We tried dosa, kathi roll, and papdi chat. Everything was delicious. Staff was very friendly and sweet.

The food is inexpensive and very tasty. I tried curry chicken and garlic naan. Cocktails and beer (draft and bottle) were also quite good. There is a seating area outside on the street and an indoor area with nice interiors.

The food wasn’t that great. But really appreciate the service and the feedback taken into account. The food sure needs a lot more improvement, it wasn’t the South Indian food I have had in Berlin itself. But like I said full marks on the service.

Friendly and quick service. Unfortunately, we couldn't eat the food we ordered due to the spiciness and we informed the waiter about this. He took our criticism into account and looked for a solution (substitute food, etc.) Thank you for your courtesy. As a starter we had samosas which were really tasty 😊.

Recently I visited to Madras Cafe with my friend. We ordered Masala Dosa and Gobhi Manchurian which was extremely delicious . Moreover, Mosquito and Coconut kiss was also tasty. Service was also too good 👍

I recently had the chance to try Madras, a South Indian restaurant in Berlin and happy to say , I was really impressed! They offer a lovely lunch menu that both affordable and satisfying. The food was warm and delicious, packed with flavors that made me feel like I was enjoying a home cooked meal. The atmosphere was cozy and the staff were friendly, making it nice spot to relax for lunch.If you’re in the area and craving some authentic South Indian food, I definitely recommend checking out Madras.it’s a delightful experience!

We come here every week. The staff is so friendly and attentive, the atmosphere is chill with a gentle buzz and the food totally hits the spot. The dosa is sumptuous and the curries full of flavour, and we always get the Gobi Manchurian. Off the scale cauliflower dish with a pan-Asian twist. Great neighbourhood local where they always throw an apertif in to send you happy into the night. Thanks Madras Café, see you next week.

Wow 🤩 Very delicious here! The best Dosa Masala and Lamb Madras I had in Berlin! The lunch offer menu is from 12h-16h and comes with a soup and a salad! Everything was spiced exquisitely! Prices are great! Very healthy authentic South-Indian cuisine, I especially can recommend for vegetarians. But also meat and fish lovers find what their heart desires 😊 The restaurant has a modern, fancy and stylish design 🤩 and is very clean. The Indian music in the back brings you in the mood and the very polite and friendly staff makes you feel so welcome 🙏🏻!!! I am dreaming of the food since I was here and will definitely come back soon😅 This dear people is THE PLACE to eat healthy food in Berlin with great atmosphere ! Go and try it 🫶🏻🥰😋

Very friendly service and advice on the menu, food very good and not the usual Indian food that you can now find on every corner and in every mall. Unknown dishes invite you to try them. Really a good choice! The waiters are extremely nice and accommodating. A place for 3 people was also possible without a reservation. The food was super tasty and for around €60 we were all completely full - we'd be happy to go again! PS: Vegans will also find something good here :)

After trying so many Indian restaurants, my journey ends here. The best indian food they have the authentic taste and service is too good the staff is friendly. I tried mysore masala dosa with masala tea the best combo.

Dosa was decent but the chutneys were too bland and very less in quantity. The potato filling was also so-so. Till now the most authentic dosas I found was only at saravanabhavan.

Everything was great, tasted delicious, very friendly environment and very friendly staff!

I had a Masala dosa and a Tea. The masala dosa was quite sour and the Sambhar was dull as well. The dosa was not crispy at all. Tea was fine. Service was good overall. Except noone came to ask if I need anything or how is the food after my food was served. The atmosphere was good. Pretty good vibe and the place was clean as well. Maybe I'll try once again in the future but today the experience was okayish.

Great! The food was delicious and the service was very friendly. You can also get great cocktails there and occasionally you'll be offered a few mango shots to digest while a banger playlist plays in the background. I can only recommend it to anyone who likes Indian cuisine and good restaurants!
