This is one of the worst service I had. The people didn't care about service . THere was a broken door which fell and the people were not even sorry. THey were what we can do. We asked why don't you even put a sign and they just said they will think about and didn't ask if you are fine etc.

For those looking for an extraordinary experience and authentic Indian taste, there is only one address: this shop! The people here really care about every guest with heart and respect. I am dependent on a wheelchair and it is really difficult to find a place that suits me here in Berlin. On a really cold day I sat outside and wanted to enjoy my meal. One of the team came up to me and we started talking. I told him about my difficulties and without hesitation he said that next time they would get a ramp so that I could get in with my wheelchair without any problems. That alone is enough to show what great people work here.

Very good restaurant, pet friendly and calm

Everything is great here. For me the tastiest Indian. I come here regularly for lunch with work colleagues. Very nice service.

The restaurant impresses with authentic flavors and a welcoming ambience. The curries are intensely spiced and the selection of vegetarian dishes is impressive. The fresh naan breads are particularly recommended. The service is warm and courteous, which makes the visit a pleasant one. A wonderful place for Indian food lovers!

Very tasty food and top cocktails, very good service, special requests (birthday greetings from the kitchen) are easily accommodated. From 6 p.m. happy hour for the (large) cocktails. Unfortunately, it's not a nice place to sit on the street and people passing by ask you for money (scrounger) several times.

Ate here on our first day in Berlin and wow it was great! Definitely one of the best Indian restaurants I've ever been to. Very tasty food, cheap and lots of it! The service was also very friendly, we stayed here afterwards to drink various cocktails (after 6:00 PM it is happy hour). Pay in cash only!

They keep making fake false complaints to Google that my review is "libel" however it isn't, and I will keep reposting this review because it is real and I've had food there many times, and it's always not fresh and tastes like a cheap copy of most Indian restaurants in Berlin. And the fact they eliminate real authentic reviews with these dirty tactics shows you what kind of establishment they are.

Freshly prepared Indian dishes with selected ingredients. We ordered several curries, as well as a fresh salad and great garlic naan for delivery. We can recommend the restaurant. The delivery time is approx. 1 hour.

Our friends who live in Berlin dragged us (metaphorically speaking) across the city to eat at Avatar. And it was worth it, absolutely fantastic food and service!

Addicted to this place I swear. It's been my go-to for 2 years and is def the best indian restaurant in town. I often go with different friends and everyone is always super happy with everything. The staff is very welcoming and nice. One of my friends is allergic to cheese and they took it really seriously, making sure her food didn't get in contact with any cheese. The meat is always fresh. The food is as spicy as you want it to be (just ask for it). 1000% recommend.

A very nice restaurant. The menu is very varied, there is something for every taste. The food is served hot. The service is super nice. We found this restaurant by chance. And we were really impressed. We will definitely be back

War ein Versuch wert. Für mich musste ich aber feststellen, das es nicht mein Favorit wird. Das Essen ist Ok und das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis auch. Wir saßen eine ganze Weile dort, aber zwischendurch wurde nicht mal kurz nachgefragt, ob wir noch etwas wünschen....ok. Das Restaurant liegt zwar in einer Nebenstraße, aber um erstmal dort hin zu kommen, musste ich mich regelrecht durch Menschenmassen am Hermannplatz kämpfen.

Had visited for dinner with friends. The main course was decent not so good nor bad. The starters which we took didn't taste well. The Onion rings and Gobi pakoda had a sour taste of flour and were sent back. Staff didn't make a great effort to replace / reduce despite knowing it after they tasted as well. They served the main course. Would not recommend !

양고기커리와 탄두리치킨을 시켰는데 양고기커리에서 양고기맛이 강하지는 않았어요 그래서 처음에 닭고기인줄 알고 직원한테 물어보니 양고기가 맞다네요 양고기 향을 좋아하시는분은 양고기커리시키면 실망하실수도있어요~ 하지만 맛은 좋았어요 진짜 맛있어요 갈릭난도 마늘향이 쎄서 맛있었어요

Food did not blow us away but we ordered a pickup and the food was ready fast. The butter chicken sauce was almost soupy and the naan was hard and dry.

This is my staple when coming to Berlin. They have a happy hour offer, when its every cocktail for 4,9€ and the drinks are legit ) My only complain tho is they removed a statue of Buddha from next to the entrance, i think it looked pretty cool and caught eye of a passing by. Nevertheless, the staff is cool too shout out to them guys.

We had the Mixed Pakora for 2, Chicken Avatar, Chicken Mango, and garlic naan. The main dishes were full of flavor, although the Chicken Mango was way too sweet. But overall it was a nice experience.

Essen: Kein 100% Fleischspieß, das sieht man… aber auf jeden Fall ein guter Anteil reines Fleisch. Sehr leckere Röstaromen, gut gewürzt und auch Salat und Brot waren sehr gut 👍🏼 Außer dem Spieß hätte ich hier nichts zu verbessern. Fazit: Lange keinen Döner mehr in Berlin gegessen… aber es hat sich gelohnt. 5,50€ für das gute Stück und am Ende gab es nur Kleinigkeiten zu optimieren. Wenn ich wieder hier auf der Ecke wäre, würde ich mir hier erneut einen holen.

Wir gehen hier regelmäßig hin, weil das Essen vorzüglich schmeckt, die Bedienung ausgesprochen nett ist und die Räumlichkeiten typisch indisch gestaltet sind. Auch die Musik ist sehr typisch gefällt uns gut.

Amazing food and super friendly staff! Every dish is delicious and the portions are big. Garlic naan is a must try side dish. The decoration style of the restaurant is also gorgeous.

Ein schönes indisches Restaurant mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Das Essen war sehr reichhaltig und genussvoll. Auch die gemixten Cocktails haben uns gemundet. Alles in allem ein Besuch wert, wenn man großen Hunger hat.

Restaurants wie dieses sind in Berlin schwer zu finden. Es ist schön zu sehen, dass es immer noch Orte gibt, die den Kunden als Geschenk und nicht als Problem sehen. Das Essen ist ausgezeichnet und der Service ist großartig. Tolles Personal zum Wohlfühlen.

Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder! Essen war sehr lecker und der Kellner auch sehr nett. Wird definitiv eines meiner Lieblingsrestaurants in Berlin.

First time we eat here and we ordered chicken korma, okra masala. They both was amazing 🤩 and service was outstanding ❤️ we will surely come again.

Super leckeres Essen, heiß und absolut frisch zubereitet, sehr freundliches Personal und ab 18.00 Uhr alle Cocktails für je 4,90 €. Also wir haben den Besuch dort nicht bereut und können dieses Restaurant guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen. Wenn wir mal wieder in Berlin sind, werden wir dort wieder essen gehen.

Wir waren jetzt schon 5 mal in den letzten 4 Monaten dort oder haben essen abgeholt. Uns schmeckt es immer super 😊 alles frisch, gute Mengen und sehr nettes Personal. Danke!

Exzellentes Essen, angemessene Preise und guter Service. Das indische Bier hab ich eher aus Neugier probiert und war positiv überrascht. Da kann sich manch Bayerisches Helles verstecken.
