Lütt & Lecker in Hamburg

We asked for the vegan meatball, which unfortunately was out. When we then said that unfortunately we would have to move on, we were stupidly asked whether we wanted the cappuccino with cow's or pig's milk. Really unnecessary!

The herring rolls are particularly recommended. The mango sauce on top was a delicious surprise :)

Actually the best fish sandwiches in town. Warm rolls and very tasty sauces, not the usual remoulade from the tube. The menu is very reduced and the quality of the fish is top notch. Not a tourist hotspot, you feel more like being welcomed and looked after in your living room in St. Pauli.

Went there with a group for the first time today. Fish sandwiches and scrambled eggs with salmon were awesome. It certainly wasn't our last visit.

I ate a fish sandwich right at the port of Hamburg for €5 and it was a perfect choice. The roll was warm and fresh, the fish pleasantly cool - the ideal combination that tastes simply great. I would particularly recommend securing a spot right by the window to enjoy the beautiful view of the harbor. A great place for a short break and a delicious, authentic fish sandwich!

A restaurant that pushes simplicity to perfection – or perhaps beyond? It has to be said that the bun, perfectly baked, promises a lot. A real moment of hope just before you bite into the meatball. But then, the surprise: a meatball that probably still has the coolness of the fridge in it, as if it had decided to brave the summer. A refreshing dining experience, you might say if you're polite. Of course, I don't want to do any injustice to the restaurant. It could well be that my teeth were simply not at the right temperature for this type of food. A case of “personal calibration” perhaps. But who knows? You never stop learning.

The fish sandwiches were very tasty. I had a cod meatball herring fillet roll.

Rarely have I experienced such unfriendly service. You come in, greet you in a friendly manner and there is no reaction from the waitress. Receiving the order with no response. Matjes fish rolls ok. It was warm (toasted) which I didn't like. But that's a matter of taste.

Something inconspicuous and not immediately found at first. However, a reward came: Mega delicious fish sandwiches to take away too. The tartar sauce on the cod meatball roll is unique and tastes fantastically good. The fish is fresh and the bread is briefly toasted. Plus a local beer. A clear recommendation and a must for anyone who wants to eat the tastiest fish sandwich in Hamburg. The service is just as cool and cool. Top price-performance!!!

Great spot for fischbrochten, I took the Bismarkt Brochten and it was delicious! The owners don't speak English but are so friendly. There are mostly regular in this place, and they gave great advices

Lütt & Lecker was recommended to us by Hamburg residents as the best place for fish sandwiches. I can only confirm the recommendation 100%. Very tasty, absolutely good price, individual requests are catered for and the staff were super nice, friendly and helpful. When we come back to Hamburg we will definitely stop by again.

Been there for the second time as a tourist. Discovered by chance on the first visit and always worth a detour! Very tasty rolls that simply round off the classic fresh fish. Again at any time and if there weren't 500km in between, I would also be happy for an extra trip.

The food here was better than the food in the hotel opposite. We recommend. Upon prior arrangement, a multi-course menu can even be prepared for you. The atmosphere is rather rustic and could use a little spice. But that is secondary.

A hidden gem at the Fish Market in HamburgI recently had the pleasure of visiting a wonderful restaurant at the Fish Market in Hamburg and all I can say is that it was an exceptional experience. We were there at 10:30pm on a Friday evening and despite the late hour, the service was first class and the ambience was incredibly inviting. The atmosphere of the restaurant was simply magical - a real "old building" feel with a cozy charm. The interior design combines historical elements with modern comforts, creating a unique and cozy space that immediately makes you feel at home. The food was excellent and demonstrated the highest quality and creativity. Every dish we tried was not only impressive in terms of taste but also beautifully presented. The ingredients were fresh and the flavors perfectly balanced. Particularly noteworthy is the main course, which was an absolute highlight both visually and in terms of taste. I can highly recommend this restaurant - it's a real insider tip at the fish market. Yesterday during the fish market we went to “lütt und delicious” for breakfast because we wanted to sit down. Marie made us a delicious scrambled egg with crabs and a delicious coffee. We were convinced that it was so delicious because everything was made with love. Thank you for this great service!

Unfortunately, I can't recommend the fish roll on hand: old roll, cold cod meatball (industrial with little fish), some salad with mayo, briefly grilled and then €6 please. 🤨 I totally understand the price, but I still have to taste it.

Hello, I was just at Lütt and Lecker. My friend bought a Bismarck roll and I had a Matjes roll :) The rolls tasted a little different than a classic fish roll, but were still extremely tasty. They are simply the best fish rolls you can get in Hamburg, period ✌️ Authentic shop, hidden from all the tourist shops, where the fish sandwiches are just dry and disgusting. So definitely avoid these shops and get fish sandwiches here!

Small place (kiosk) right in front of the fish market. Excellent quality and affordable prices. A sandwich with herring and side dish for 5 euros and a beer for 3.50. Simple and effective.

Nice little place with a lot of Hamburg flair and really nice employees. We felt very comfortable here and ate very tasty :) Particularly worthy of mention is the delicious hazelnut schnapps as a goodie

Vom Oktoberfest in den Fischauktionshallen kommend und noch auf der Suche nach einem leckeren Fischbrötchen, stießen wir auf das ‚Lütt & Lecker‘. Obwohl bereits geschlossen war, öffnete man uns freundlich die Tür und bereitete uns auf unseren Wunsch hin Fischbrötchen für den Weg zu. Die beiden Damen des Ladens waren supernett und offen. Die Lachsbrötchen waren außerordentlich gut.

Kaffee war köstlich. Das Lachsbrötchen frisch und knusprig. Netter Service, alles perfekt.

Mega leckere Fischbrötchen - die Dorschfrikadelle mit Sylter-Soße (das Brötchen schön warm gemacht) einfach klasse. Nettes Lokal 👌🏻

Ein kleines Lokal, von außen unscheinbar, mit schlichtem Mobiliar, vielleicht nicht penibel sauber, aber annehmbar, dafür authentisch, hat mir gefallen einfach mal etwas länger sitzen zu bleiben und auch noch nen Cappuccino zu trinken. Das Dorschfrikadellenbrötchen mit Sauce war einfach klasse, richtiger panierter Fisch, keine gepresste Masse, ich dachte man müsste das Essen am Tresen abholen, aber ich wurde am Tisch bedient. Flaschengetränke nimmt man sich einfach aus dem Kühlschrank und zahlt am Schluss alles zusammen, Kartenzahlung geht. Besonders nett fand ich den Umgangston, kumpelhaft locker, dabei aber freundlich und nett. Alles in allem 10,50 € bezahlt und voll zufrieden.

Beste Fischbrötchen! Die Brötchen selbst wirken selbstgemacht und sind unglaublich lecker. Auch die Bedienung ist jedes mal unschlagbar nett und freundlich. 10/10
