Lütt & Lecker in Hamburg

We were treated extremely rudely when we bought two fish sandwiches around 11 p.m. We were denied a seat even though the shop was empty. One of the fish sandwiches was also frozen inside. However, my companion didn't dare go back and complain because of the owner's silly comment. Unfortunately, the fish ended up in the trash.

The girls do a fantastic job and are super friendly. A small but fine menu! The food is excellent!

Apparently very popular, the food looked good, and the shop seems nice. The manager, however, doesn't make any special demands on the rolls—you'll just get laughed at, even if you have children with allergies. It could also be that the rolls are already filled when they arrive at the store from the wholesaler; otherwise, I can't imagine why the yogurt sauce is already stuck between the fish cake and the roll. It's a shame, really!

We just returned from Scandinavia and are on our way to the Ruhr region. Whenever we travel north in our motorhome, we always try to stop at the fish market in Hamburg to eat a delicious fish sandwich at Lütt & Lecker. The sandwiches are truly exceptionally delicious. My favorite is the sandwich with cod meatballs, a real sensation. And the fridge has a huge selection of drinks, which almost overwhelmed me.

They have the best fish sandwiches here. A nice little place with reasonable prices. You can order directly at the counter and watch the fish sandwiches being prepared. I really enjoyed it here and would love to come back.

İf you get at least two sandwiches I think you can count it as a meal. Although the ingredients inside were a bit limited, the taste and quality more than okay. They said that their pos machine was broken so I had to find an atm to draw some cash and make the payment, this was a bit bummer for me.

We stopped by spontaneously. I had a roll with Bismarck cheese for €5. The roll is toasted again, making it deliciously crispy and warm. Combined with the fish, it was simply delicious and truly filling. I hope I can make it there again this week while I'm on vacation. It's really worth it.

Perfect food for winners - best fish sandwiches at good prices

I happened to be passing by here and suddenly got a craving for a fish sandwich. So I bought a cod fish cake and sat down by the harbor. The sandwich is toasted again in the grill, which makes it nice and crispy. For €6, it's a decent portion. Very tasty and highly recommended! The employee was also very friendly. I'll definitely be back.

Fish sandwiches ok, beer amazing

Unfortunately, unfortunately, the fish rolls are no longer what they used to be: large, creative and lovingly topped in a crispy roll. Now they are just little baked rolls with careless toppings and not worth the price. The nice service and the charmingly grubby atmosphere don't help either. We'd love to come back for a beer in the sun, but we'll get fish sandwiches elsewhere in the future. What a shame! 🙁

We celebrated a birthday there on Friday! The service was excellent. The owner and her employee constantly provided us with drinks and sandwiches. The bread, fresh fish and cheese were simply heavenly and were obviously prepared with a lot of love. We felt completely at home and can only recommend this little gem of a store!

They should rename themselves “Cheap and Delicious”! Because that's exactly how it is.

You used to have much cooler rolls. That's why I actually like coming to eat your fish sandwiches. Now you also have these 815 cheap 29-cent rolls. Too bad. I guess I'll have to find another place. Still, it wasn't bad. The price/performance ratio is just about okay.

Surprisingly good. The sandwich is really basic, it’s literally white bread, spread and fish, but hey it’s pretty tasty not gonna lie. The bread especially was crazy nice

Here you can get one of the tastiest fish sandwiches in the city. There is a cod meatball. Delicious. The roll is also very good and is freshly warmed up. Plus some coleslaw. Overall, highly recommended!!

Delicious fish sandwiches. 10 out of 10 for the herring roll and the chestnut soup, the cod meatball was rather mild in taste. Drinks are available from the refrigerator for self-service. The service seemed “Nordic-tart” but friendly to me. Prices pleasant.

We asked for the vegan meatball, which unfortunately was out. When we then said that unfortunately we would have to move on, we were stupidly asked whether we wanted the cappuccino with cow's or pig's milk. Really unnecessary!

Actually the best fish sandwiches in town. Warm rolls and very tasty sauces, not the usual remoulade from the tube. The menu is very reduced and the quality of the fish is top notch. Not a tourist hotspot, you feel more like being welcomed and looked after in your living room in St. Pauli.

I ate a fish sandwich right at the port of Hamburg for €5 and it was a perfect choice. The roll was warm and fresh, the fish pleasantly cool - the ideal combination that tastes simply great. I would particularly recommend securing a spot right by the window to enjoy the beautiful view of the harbor. A great place for a short break and a delicious, authentic fish sandwich!

A restaurant that pushes simplicity to perfection – or perhaps beyond? It has to be said that the bun, perfectly baked, promises a lot. A real moment of hope just before you bite into the meatball. But then, the surprise: a meatball that probably still has the coolness of the fridge in it, as if it had decided to brave the summer. A refreshing dining experience, you might say if you're polite. Of course, I don't want to do any injustice to the restaurant. It could well be that my teeth were simply not at the right temperature for this type of food. A case of “personal calibration” perhaps. But who knows? You never stop learning.

The tartar sauce on the cod meatball roll is unique and tastes fantastically good. The fish is fresh and the bread is briefly toasted. Plus a local beer. A clear recommendation and a must for anyone who wants to eat the tastiest fish sandwich in Hamburg. The service is just as cool and cool. Top price-performance!!!

Lütt & Lecker was recommended to us by Hamburg residents as the best place for fish sandwiches. I can only confirm the recommendation 100%. Very tasty, absolutely good price, individual requests are catered for and the staff were super nice, friendly and helpful. When we come back to Hamburg we will definitely stop by again.

Been there for the second time as a tourist. Discovered by chance on the first visit and always worth a detour! Very tasty rolls that simply round off the classic fresh fish. Again at any time and if there weren't 500km in between, I would also be happy for an extra trip.

The food here was better than the food in the hotel opposite. We recommend. Upon prior arrangement, a multi-course menu can even be prepared for you. The atmosphere is rather rustic and could use a little spice. But that is secondary.
