Very friendly staff. The food was delicious and plentiful. I'll definitely go again. They've renovated the restaurant. It looks great and very inviting. Thank you very much.

The restaurant is stylish and has good service. I was looking for an Iranian meal in Würzburg, but the quality of the food and the variety of the menu did not meet my expectations. Jujeh Kabab was dry and not well marinated. Kubideh was also dry and low in fat. Thanks for the effort to prepare an Iranian meal, but actually is needs little change.

Yesterday the two of us had dinner in the Luisengarten. It was a great, successful evening, from the stylish, modern ambience to the friendly and competent service to the varied, delicious food. I would also like to mention the super clean sanitary facilities. The restaurant is not located directly in the center, but the 10-minute walk from the center along the residence is definitely worth it!

The stylish, modern furnishings create a pleasant atmosphere, and the cleanliness - including the sanitary facilities - is also exemplary. We had a very tasty meal and will be back. Yesterday (3/28/25) the five of us were there again. The restaurant has undergone a great transformation. The ambience has become very elegant. The food was excellent, the service was very friendly. The prices are reasonable. An absolute recommendation.

We went to this Persian-Afghan restaurant today - and absolutely loved it! The food was authentic and full of flavor – it transported me straight into the culture. The dishes were freshly prepared and with a lot of love, which you could taste in every bite. The drinks were also refreshing and of the highest quality. The dessert in particular was the highlight of the evening and perfectly rounded off the entire culinary experience. Overall, a wonderful experience that I can only recommend!

We were in this restaurant yesterday for the first and last time. The atmosphere was very appealing and we hoped to have a delicious meal there. The service was terribly bad. We were happy to finally be able to order after 15 minutes and after another 15 minutes our drinks finally arrived, which we had to divide up over the entire stay because no one really came to ask if we wanted something else to drink. We had to wait forever for the starter and the waiter was so unfriendly that we wanted to get up. I have rarely experienced such bad service. The food was ok but I wouldn't come back because the service absolutely ruined everything.

The food in the Luisengarten is fantastic – varied and complex. There are many vegetarian and vegan dishes, but also meat (chicken and lamb). I can particularly recommend the starter plate (mezze) and the cake stand, where you get a wide variety of different dishes. The atmosphere is modern and tasteful. The only point of criticism is the service, which could be a bit more attentive.

Absolutely overpriced. They try to achieve disproportionately high prices through menu structures. But none of it tastes authentic... But some of the matzo were actually delicious. The chicken was ok too. Everything else is really incomprehensibly below average to me. The "homemade sour cherry lemonade according to Grandma's recipe" is simply cheap supermarket syrup with water... Tastes like an artificial cough drop.

It's an overpriced restaurant, the ambience is okay, but it's very loud and you can hardly have a conversation. Starter is good but overpriced, as are the rest of the dishes and the prices in the menu are very misleading. The bill was calculated incorrectly, we received an invoice with a surcharge for extra costs that had not even been mentioned before. When leaving the restaurant, the employees suddenly weren't so friendly anymore. In short; this restaurant is DEFINITELY NOT WORTH the hype!!!

Very nice restaurant. The food is really varied and very tasty. We had the Balagan menu for €35 each per person. The food itself was very good, but unfortunately the falafels were really dry and very unimpressive and a few of the starters were not homemade. The Mantu were really okay, but they lacked the kick, they were relatively tasteless, almost meaningless, you can definitely get more out of them! The main courses instead were really the opposite and very tasty. Finally, the dessert plate is highly recommended because it's really fairly priced and really good! Overall a solid 4 stars!

Eat: What can I say? Everything was simply incredibly delicious. Starting with the starter platter, which was completely vegan (it didn't bother anyone - on the contrary: everyone found it incredibly tasty) with very good falafel, eggplant, couscous salad, stuffed grape leaves, delicious bread, etc., followed by filled dumplings and delicious curries and pickled meat that was tender as butter. For dessert there was a chocolate nut cake which was also excellent. I only took photos of the vegan food Service: The welcome from the boss (?) was super warm. She kept asking throughout the evening whether everything would be okay. The service at some tables wasn't ideal (here it's all about the speed of clearing - old plates were sometimes long), BUT one of the two waiters was apparently not a trained specialist but from an asylum seekers' home and he was given the opportunity to work there. I think it's great! 👍 I can fully recommend the restaurant. I only took photos of the vegan dishes. Service: The welcome from the manager (I assume?) was extremely warm. Throughout the evening, she repeatedly checked to see if everything was to our satisfaction. The service at some tables wasn’t perfect (mainly in terms of clearing plates – used dishes were left standing for quite a while), BUT one of the two waiters apparently wasn’t a trained professional but someone from a refugee shelter, who was given the opportunity to work there. Unfortunately, the visit to the Luisengarten was a disappointment. The restaurant is very large and nicely decorated. The staff was quite friendly. However, the food was very expensive and the portions were small. Unfortunately the dishes weren't to my taste at all, they were very unseasoned and dry rice dishes.

Great ambience. Adequate food. Way too expensive! I'm not sure it's really worth paying double the price for a classic dish. The food wasn't exceptional for the price. No bad experiences, so the rating remains at 4.0

A great restaurant with a well thought out concept and very good food. We ordered Balagan, i.e. a little bit of everything... Every single dish was authentically prepared and really impressed us. The food was really an experience and the modernized ambience was really nice. A star deduction for the service because although they are very nice and accommodating, they are not all that attentive and everything takes a bit of a long time (e.g. until you get a menu or the first round of drinks can be taken). But that's complaining at a high level and was also at rush hour on a Saturday evening.

The owner is super nice and spontaneously made an effort to make our reservation. The food is incredibly good and there is a lot of it, everyone will be full here! It's also very quick and there are no long waiting times. Service 10/10.

Went there for the first time yesterday and expectations were probably too high due to many positive reviews. I ordered char (maybe I should have ordered something else)... it came with a salad that was not dressed in the dinner plate and took up half of the plate in terms of space. The saffron sauce was too little. The fish was tasty, but the portion was too small overall. If you were hungry you wouldn't be satisfied. I also reported this back to the waitress. The ambience was nice, but in my opinion the price-performance ratio was not right.

Just crazy. We had a menu for two because we couldn't decide. What lies ahead for us? What flavor components can we expect? It was like a wonderful dream of spices and flavors. Worth every penny. Thank you so much for this unforgettable experience🙏

All three desserts complemented each other, the crispy and not too sweet baghlava with the tangy yoghurt and the soft cream and crunchy crumble of the pie... We devoured it all. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant. My experience was disappointing, both in terms of service and food quality. The staff was not very respectful and didn't seem to really care about the guests' satisfaction. I also got the impression that many positive reviews on the Internet are advertising and do not reflect reality. I hope the restaurant works on these points to provide a better experience for its guests.

Very tasty authentic food, a trip into the world of the Orient. The opportunity to taste your way through the different dishes is simply great. The vegan dishes are very varied and a tip even for meat eaters. Very nice staff.

The price is high and the taste is not good

Unfortunately, it was not a good experience! The behavior of the waiters was not friendly at all (I later found out that one of them is the manager of the restaurant) and even though the restaurant was quiet, it took a long time to talk to them. The way the food was served was also not good, the flavors were mixed, for example, chicken stew, kebab and rice were served together in one plate. What I didn't expect at all was the taste of kebab, which was not kebab at all! Something like low quality Turkish kebab Adana. And finally, considering the price of the food, I do not recommend it at all!

A Persian restaurant with amazing kubideh and djuje kebabs. Unfortunately these two items only come as part of a plate with other things as well while I could just eat more kubideh. It is a shame that they did not have kashk and therefore kashk e bademjan which is one of my favorite Iranian dishes. Still I was very happy to taste authentic Persian food in Wurzburg.

We came to Würzburg for a concert and visited the Luisengarten for dinner. Great ambience, great service. The food is great. Chicken and lamb kebabs cooked to perfection and well seasoned. We will definitely come back on our next trip to Würzburg.

If you want to try out some completely new flavors, this is the right place! Very tasty, greetings from Afghanistan and ancient Persia. Super coordinated dishes. The fluffiest and crispiest falafel I've ever had! It's a little more expensive than the usual restaurant, but worth every cent.

I really enjoyed the food, the taste seems to be really authentic! The menu is small you have not so many choices but I think is enough, only one minus point is the cost ratio which I found quite high for a city like Würzburg… Otherwise I really recommend it! We even got a surprise in the end, they served us a really tasty dessert!

I was really torn between 4 and 5 stars because honestly the experience was worth 4.5 stars. I will come back and would recommend the restaurant to everyone. The "concerns" I write about in the message are really just for the restaurant to consider and for customers to be aware of, but should not be a complete deterrent. The Great: The food was excellent and the service was good. Everyone was friendly and the food came quickly and tasted great. Overall no complaints taste or service wise. The dessert that came with the meal was literally phenomenal. I honestly kept saying, oh my god, while eating it, the dessert was defiantly the star of the show. The only concern/issue really was, ironically, with this dessert itself. I'm vegetarian, so we ordered from the vegan menu. When we ordered from the vegan menu, I assumed that all of the food we would be served would actually be vegan. But the dessert wasn't vegan, it was definitely dairy based, I could tell after just three bites that something was different and it wasn't a vegan dessert, but the staff didn't mention that the food was different from the menu, which we had ordered. Now that I'm vegetarian, this isn't a problem, but if anyone in our group were vegan, or worse, had a dairy allergy, they probably wouldn't have expected dairy in their meal if they had ordered from the vegan menu. As I said, everything was great and we really enjoyed our time, but the staff should have asked us if it was safe for us to eat dairy since we had ordered from the vegan menu. Edit as a reply to the manager the desert was just brought to our table we did not order them and assumed they came with the vegan platter we ordered.

It wasn't Iranian(Persian) food. There is something in the menu, but they bring something else. We were very disappointed because we expected Iranian food but only the name of the food was djuje kabab or zereshkpolo. The quality was poor and the price was too low very high.

Today was our first time and certainly not the last time in this excellent Persian restaurant. We had homemade lemonade, appetizer platter, vegan and meat dishes, dessert. WOW, everything was homemade and handmade, the taste was a real experience because the dishes were not "over-seasoned", you could identify every single ingredient by taste and were neither overshadowed by cumin, saffron or other "supposedly typical 1001 Nights" spices. The service couldn't be better, friendly, attentive and quick. The food didn't take long to arrive. I found the atmosphere very pleasant and inviting. Thank you for this delicious taste experience.

Really very good food, but: this time very, very bad service. Not only did a drink not come (which can always happen), but we had made a reservation and had to wait over 30 minutes until someone came and took the order. The main course arrived after an hour and 45 minutes! Particularly annoying: others who came after us were served much earlier - for whatever reason, there was no apology. That's really not possible and you felt like a second class guest! Previous experiences on site were much better, but unfortunately this time it was simply poor value for money (dishes at 22 euros, starter platter at 17 euros!). Such a habit is simply detrimental to business - incomprehensible.

Traditional Persian Iranian menus. Ideal for vegans and vegetarians. The starter can feed 2 people easily. Really great to taste the flavours of the region.

Best Persian food I’ve ever had!

We had the menu for 2 people with meat. Each bowl and key has a completely different taste and it is really delicious. Added to this are the beautiful design of the rooms and the great service. It's a shame I didn't have room in my stomach to try dessert.

Mein erster Eindruck war so dass die Räumlichkeiten sehr schön eingerichtet und sehr einladend waren. Geschmacklich war die Vorspeise in Ordnung und schön eingerichtet jedoch Hauptgang hatte mit persiches Essen nichts zutun gehabt. Es war leider katastrophal. Gesamte Personal war leider sehr Unachtsam und sehr unfreundlich. Die Unstimmigkeiten und respektlose Umgang untereinander "Personal" war sehr zu spüren. Ob ich nochmal dahingehen möchte nein Danke.

An outdated facility. However, it has now been renovated and is very chic. However, the food is great, good portions, great taste. the nougat parfait goes straight to your hips, the coffee tastes good and wakes the dead. Nice staff. Gladly again.

Persian restaurant. The menu is a little different than usual, but once you know what it means to order an appetizer, it's absolutely fine. The two of us were full from two starters. Once you see the cake stand of happiness and once you see Mazze Royal, a vegetarian starter selection.

Amazing, mainly Iranian fusion, the set menu is surprisingly cheap for the quality (and quantity) served. A really good find in a mainly residential area still close to the city centre.
