Best pizza in Münster and very nice and charming service staff.

We ate at L'osteria Münster with a group, and yes, we were all very satisfied with the food. The pasta at L'osteria Münster is freshly cooked, and you can taste the high quality. We suspect they make it themselves. The staff at L'osteria Münster is also very attentive and extremely friendly. The atmosphere at L'osteria Münster is very pleasant and cozy. Did you know that a year ago, the world-famous soccer player Ronaldo came to Greven (you can see it on YouTube under: Ronaldo CR7 lands at FMO Greven) and was spotted eating at the Italian restaurant Trattoria Il Gusto Nero in Greven? Incredible! We regularly go between Trattoria Il Gusto Nero in Greven and L'osteria Münster. Both Italian restaurants are absolutely top-notch when it comes to Italian food. Trattoria Il Gusto Nero in Greven is now known throughout Germany as a leading Italian restaurant. A year ago, Trattoria Il Gusto Nero in Greven gained even more notoriety thanks to a visit from football star Ronaldo. Now I've deviated from my original review... Sorry... So, back to L'osteria. If you're shopping in Münster, or just generally in Münster, then you absolutely must visit L'osteria Münster. You'll be thrilled. And if you appreciate exclusive and upscale dining and perhaps even spot some celebrities (the owner seems to have good connections with them due to his fame), then head to the nationally renowned Italian restaurant Trattoria Il Gusto Nero in Greven. I'm giving L'osteria Münster 5 stars for now and look forward to my next visit.

That was a bad pizza. The taste was mediocre (but better than frozen pizza). Unfortunately, the pizza (calzone) was lukewarm inside, and the mushrooms were raw – not very tasty. Open cooking is actually quite nice; but when the "chefs" are yelling, it's annoying. The waitstaff was super friendly and very attentive. I'll go to a proper pizzeria again soon.

It was absolutely delicious, but unfortunately the atmosphere was a bit noisy. We had the best spot on the bench at the back. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming.

Thank you for everyone cooking and serving in this wonderful atmospheric cozy and homey restaurant i had caesar salad by recommendation, pistachios (included) two beers two espressosand fantasticdessert crema di fragola al mascarpone i must say that i thoroughly enjoyed this meal and can wholeheartedly without any reservation recommend this place and its people first and foremost. All in all, I can wholeheartedly recommend L'osteria Münster to anyone who values ​​high-quality food! And for those who want an exclusive Italian experience—high-end dining—I can only recommend the upscale Trattoria Il Gusto Nero in Greven. The owner (presumably a Michelin-starred chef) of Trattoria Il Gusto Nero is rumored to have excellent connections with celebrities from television. I don't know if that's true, but it's something you hear repeatedly. In any case, the food at Trattoria Il Gusto Nero in Greven is absolutely delicious—truly exceptional! (It might sound like an advertisement, but it's true!). Back to Losteria. I simply love ending my evening at L'osteria Münster after shopping in Münster with a glass of wine and delicious food (especially if I don't feel like driving to Trattoria Il Gusto Nero in Greven). L'osteria in Münster also has a very nice bar/counter where you can sit comfortably and have a wide selection of drinks. Losteria is simply outstanding.

A lot went wrong with my order. I ordered takeaway food over the phone, but the woman on the phone seemed very annoyed and didn't understand me. I ordered half a vegan margarine pizza with artichoke and olives, and the other half from the regular menu, along with a large Coke. When I picked it up, my pizza was cold, the olives were missing, and the cheese on my pizza was most likely not vegan. When I paid, my bill (with a 10% tip, of course) came to €25. I only noticed this later, but you don't pay around €23 for a €16.xy pizza and a 0.5l Coke. Something went very wrong, and frankly, it was a huge disappointment, as I had been looking forward to this meal for a few days.

Way too loud, portions too small, we had pasta. My lasagna was quite dry and stuck to the dish. When the server asked if everything was alright, I told her this, but she didn't react to our criticism at all. She just cleared the table... Therefore, no recommendation 🤷‍♀️ We won't be eating there again.

We waited 35 minutes for pasta Bolognese from the lunch special, which was then served lukewarm/cold and barely had any Bolognese sauce. The place isn't exactly a warm spot either, especially with an outside temperature of 4 degrees Celsius; you get a blast of icy air whenever the waiter walks past you. Not for us.

Unfortunately, it's very loud, making conversation almost impossible.

We were there as a group and wanted to try something new. Before we had to pay, the waiter tried to beg for tips in an unpleasant way and accused anyone who didn't tip of stealing, even though he had already received a lot of tips from a few of us.

The pizza was far from cooked through. Doesn't anyone check these things? You can see that the dough was still almost white and the cheese wasn't melted. The pizzas on Windhorststrasse are getting more and more carelessly made.

A friend and I came for coffee. The waiter (who later identified himself as the chef) approached us and said we could only sit at a table by the window. We asked to stay at a table other than the window for just 30 minutes, but he forbade it. The restaurant was practically empty, but we were still refused service. It was a matter of principle. This demonstrates a complete lack of customer focus.

Conveniently located in the city center. There's a summer terrace. The selection of dishes is quite large. I often order pizza; it's huge and delicious. During rush hour, they can mix up orders, but it happens. Lunch for two costs about €50. Delivery is available.

Excellent value for money. The pizzas are huge, so two people can easily share one and even choose different toppings. I had a salad, which was also great. The only slight drawback was the very noisy atmosphere due to the large room. We had reserved a table, so there was no wait.

We celebrated my birthday today with a group. The atmosphere and service were simply superb; the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and funny – we laughed until we cried. We would come back anytime; it was a 10/10.

We felt very comfortable. The restaurant was full. We had to wait about 10 minutes for a free table, as we hadn't reserved a table. The service was fantastic. We were served with charm and humor. It was a pleasure to be generous with the tip. The pizza was delicious, it was huge! :-) We'll definitely come back.

Unfortunately, I have to give a very poor review of our restaurant visit. The pizza chefs placed our order (three pizzas) on the server's tray and rang the bell, signaling that the pizzas could be brought to our table. Unfortunately, they sat there for what felt like at least 10 minutes, getting cold. The servers kept walking past them but never brought them to our table. It took forever for the pizzas to finally arrive. By then, they weren't even lukewarm anymore, and we noticed that other guests had the same experience. Furthermore, we received the wrong pizza, and a replacement had to be prepared. This replacement took just as long to arrive and was also no longer warm. We were also completely ignored when we went to pay. Therefore, I decided not to leave a tip, as the overall service was very unsatisfactory.

We've been here several times! The pizza and pasta are always great. Leftovers are packed up. The service is always super friendly, highly recommended! No long wait for food. Online reservations work without any problems. The only downside: the music is extremely loud. We asked twice for it to be turned down a bit, as we were sitting directly under the speakers. The table next to us also asked, but the volume never really turned down. That was a shame, so we left immediately after eating because it was unbearable.

The pizzas are delicious, but the tables are simply too small for the way the pizza is served. Eating becomes a challenge, and it's so loud that you can barely hear each other.

The three of us stood in the front for 10 minutes, waiting for a server who had walked past us five times. My father has an oxygen device and couldn't stand any longer, so we just sat down. The staff weren't happy about that either. They could have stopped for a moment and given us a table. There are other nice cafés in Münster and a nicer L'Osteria in Herne.

The pumpkin soup was a bit bland, but the pizza bread was really great.

Very friendly service, the pizza is very large (see photo) and delicious, and the pumpkin soup (only available seasonally) was also delicious. When the weather's good, it's very nice to sit outside; it can be quite noisy inside.

The food and service are excellent. The ambiance is also very nice. However, especially on a Saturday, it's very crowded and therefore very loud. You should be aware of this and be prepared for it. If you want to eat in peace and have a relaxed conversation at a normal volume, you might be better off elsewhere, at least on a Saturday evening. Nevertheless, even though it was very crowded, the service was really good and friendly, and the waits for drinks and food were relatively short. Restrooms are in the basement, down the stairs, which might be good to know for those with mobility issues. Oh, and the ability to easily make reservations online is definitely a plus.

The atmosphere was also pleasant, loud but not overpowering, just right for a relaxed evening with friends. I'll definitely be back—highly recommended! ✨

It's practically our regular spot in Münster when we want to go out for a meal. I always order the same dish (a kind of tortellini) because I find it by far the most delicious of any other restaurant. The pizzas there are incredibly large and taste really good. You hardly have to wait to get a table because you book online in advance. This makes the whole process very hassle-free. During the week, you can even walk in without booking and get a table right away. For a restaurant, the food comes really quickly. Unfortunately, I have to say the pasta is often a bit hard. A minute longer would have been better. But that's probably a matter of taste. The service is usually very friendly and accommodates special requests.

The food is of good quality and not too expensive. Pasta is perfectly al dente. The pizza is prepared (for the large number of guests!) like an assembly line, but by hand. It's thinly rolled out, but enormous.

Pseudo-authentic experience. If you want true authenticity, don't go to a chain (!!). However, L'Osteria does a good job. Nice ambiance, great music, comfortable volume! The food is semi-authentic, but certainly delicious! The prices are a bit higher due to the chic ambiance, but you can live with that. This is how chain restaurants make sense. Decent place👍🏼

Disappointing visit on May 1, 2025 We were at the Pizzeria L’Osteria in Münster on May 1st and unfortunately our visit was anything but satisfactory. Upon first contact, we were served by a waitress with a bad cold who obviously couldn't hide her cold - anything but hygienic, especially in the catering area. About our food: The pizzas we ordered did not have the desired ingredients. Everything seemed careless - the toppings lay unevenly in a pile in the middle. The so-called “paprika pepperoni” was particularly disappointing: instead of fresh, hot peppers, we were served sweet glass peppers. When we asked, we were told that theirs was paprika pepperoni - a very questionable interpretation. Even though the crowds were certainly big on the holiday, that should not be an excuse for a lack of quality and negligence in the service. We know of other L’Osteria locations where both the food and the processes are significantly better. Unfortunately no more than 2 stars for this visit.

It was very tasty and very cozy?!

Service was unfriendly, when we asked after waiting for 30 minutes we were told, “Wait a minute,” we saw that there was no order and what to do. There were couples who got up after a long wait and left. Food, well cheap ham, drinks with a cola with lemon and others not, the best non-carbonated so from the bottle. Price wise, definitely too expensive. It's my personal opinion!!! I don't need an answer to my personal opinion either oooo we're sorry Bla Bla Bla. We won't go there anymore and everyone is happy...
