It’s a bit of wait so you should be prepared to order everything you want at once when the waiter first assists you. That being said, the service is superb and the staff very friendly and polite. The four-cheese pizza is so huge and so good!

One of the worst carbonaras I've ever eaten.

The food is always delicious but unfortunately the website where you can order doesn't work at all. just like the app and when you call no one answers, almost as if they don't want you to order food. I've had this experience several times now. Apart from that, the app is designed quite strangely and the website is poorly adapted for mobile phones. The entire ordering process feels like you're walking over digital shards. Conclusion, good food but the chain seems very disorganized and if you eat inside it is far too loud. - train station hall feeling 😬 This is of course strange for a restaurant chain of this size.

Food is very tasty and comes quite quickly, portions are nice and big, especially the pizzas are huge, so you can often have half a pizza packed for you to take home, and all for a good price. Vegan cheese is probably always out of date, but at least there was lactose-free Edam as a replacement. Service is great, the atmosphere is nice and pleasant, but it's a bit tiring when entertaining indoors because the noise level is a bit higher.

Super delicious and great service

We ate here on Friday evening and can only report positive things. The staff is very friendly and quick. We ordered pizza and lasagne, both tasted very good. In addition, the music pleasantly underlined the ambience of the restaurant. I can only recommend eating here!

Super Loction food great pizza is so huge that it doesn't even fit on a plate

The food was very tasty but the pizza was huge and the pasta felt like it was a child's portion. So one of us rolled out and the other had a kebab after waiting half an hour for me to get my square meter of pizza. Big pizza is really cool, but it gets cold after 10 minutes. The idea is good, the implementation is good. We sat outside because it was quite crowded inside and therefore super loud. It's easy to hear noise in such a large room. Also more like, well. But the service was very good and the employees were very friendly and in a good mood :)

We walked in on a Saturday afternoon without a reservation. The girl at the entrance wanted to send us out, but we were still given a seat at the bar. We still enjoyed it, especially the staff, who were very friendly, attentive, customer-oriented, relaxed, and laid-back. The pizzas were super delicious 😋

The pizza was huge, not manageable. It hung a few centimeters over the edge of the plate. Very tasty, unfortunately a bit soggy in the middle, but probably due to the size and the super thin dough. The staff was super attentive, nice and quick. The atmosphere is hall-like, very large and high and therefore quite loud because everyone has something to tell.

I've had a lot of pizzas, but it's very rare to find a dough like this, airy, crispy, the size of a wagon wheel and lavishly topped. Absolute recommendation! The ambience is nice but similar to an open-plan office, so it's a bit loud if you're looking for “romance”.

Everything always works out if you order in advance. Nice Italian restaurant with huge pizzas and other goodies. Unfortunately, the music is always way too loud, which is annoying and always very crowded and very loud in the evenings. Not an oasis of calm for relaxation, more of a Mediterranean temperament.

We have been to L'Osteria and ordered a couple of times and the pizzas are delicious 😋 They also have a large selection of vegetarian dishes. The good part is the half-n-half pizza, which lets you try different pizza flavours 🍕

Food was good as always, but drinks only came after 20 minutes, just before the pizzas. I thought it was cheeky to pay with a card. Without a word, a 15% tip was simply added and billed. I like to tip, but not like this.

This is easily the worst pizza I've eaten in Jena. It's extremely overpriced for the amount of toppings and choices you get. My salsiccia was worth €11 at most and cost 15.50... The service was fine.

Very tasty food, pasta, pizza bread, dessert. We like to come here often and very much. Service is very friendly. When the restaurant is full, it is often very loud, the only small disadvantage. We always like to come here.

The food was very tasty and arrived very quickly. However, in the store you develop a little hatred towards everything and everyone. Ultimately it's because there were about 50cm to the next table in the small shop and the music was way too loud. Because of the loud music, everyone had to talk louder and this created acoustics that some people would describe as disturbing. I would rather call it very strenuous.

Unfortunately there is only one vegan pizza and it is also inedible.

Arguably the most popular pizzeria in Jena, and for good reason. Located in level of neue Mitte and in the base atrium of JenTower, this shop is not difficult to find. The decor and ambience are excellent, as is the food and drink. My personal favourite is the salsiccia picante pizza and the margherita pizza. The aperol spritz maracuja is a popular drink here. Love the free peanuts available at the bar top. Overall this is a must visit restaurant pizzeria of Jena.

Service was very good, it's quite crowded and loud, which wasn't really my cup of tea, the food wasn't anything special and not really my cup of tea, the pasta dish was a bit too dry for me, hardly any sauce and didn't feel like it either My taste, it wasn't bad but not perfect/really good either, all in all okay. But as I said, the service was 1A, really tried hard and really nice and accommodating!

Our family – my wife, our 5-year-old son and our 5-month-old baby boy – recently had lunch at L’Osteria in Jena and we absolutely loved it. As soon as we entered the restaurant we were warmly welcomed. Particularly noteworthy is the friendliness and thoughtfulness of the entire staff. Our oldest was thrilled that he got his own children's menu, and we parents also felt like we were in good hands. The quiet and pleasant atmosphere was ideal for our 5-month-old son, so he was even able to take a nap - a real plus for new parents! The food was also great: the famous giant pizzas not only filled us up, but also impressed us with their taste. Everything was fresh, rich and really tasty. The price-performance ratio was also absolutely right, so we left with a good feeling. A perfect lunch for us as a family – we will definitely come back. A big shout out to the L’Osteria team at Jentower!

Were there as a larger group. Had the whole thing pre-ordered. Otherwise it probably wouldn't be possible during the Christmas season. It was packed. Unfortunately, the music was so loud that you couldn't have a conversation with everyone at the long table. The staff was friendly and always approachable despite the likely stress. The pizzas were very good, both visually and in terms of taste. Unfortunately, the lasagna was baked on the bottom of the bowl so we had to get it all out. Taste was quite good. I just didn't notice any bechamel sauce in the lasagna.

The pasta was to die for, the beef was totally tender and the burrata pizza was also a delight. If we are in Jena again we will definitely be back 😊

Unfortunately, the preparation of our food only started when we asked after waiting 40 minutes - absolutely not family-friendly with a small child. The reason was a large order that comes in every Saturday.

The food wasn't bad per se, but the service/cuisine was an absolute disaster. At the beginning alone we had to wait 15 minutes until we were assigned a table. It was very crowded and you had the feeling that the staff was very overwhelmed. After waiting for 30 minutes, we received our food in stages and only then were we told that there was no avocado for the avocado salad, which we could have been told earlier. The staff was nice, but as I said we had to wait too long. We wouldn't eat here again.

JUICE SHOP!!! - 100 stars for this arogance of tonight's receptionist. You ask yourself why you should reserve if you don't get the table in the end because you had to wait too long in line!!! And then cheekily lie the table was given away even though we stood in line long enough to see that NO ONE could enter the restaurant before us. So I wonder within 2 minutes we were late (because she couldn't find the order from the previous customers)!!!!!
