Large, well-kept rooms and a very attentive, quick staff are particularly highlighted in my rating. The menu, from which I choose a reasonably priced vegetarian pizza at €11, features a wide range of Greek and Italian dishes. As a starter I choose olives, tzatziki and bread, all great. However, the pizza disappointed me and brought the rating down. Of the artichokes announced on the menu on the veg. There is absolutely no pizza to be found. They are simply missing. The pizza is a bit too cheese-heavy for my taste, which also visually means that there is not much of the colorful vegetables such as peppers, mushrooms, broccoli... to be seen. All in all, a recommendable, nice restaurant with a parking space in front of the door and the possibility for larger private events.

The tavern, a place in Jena that was previously unknown to me. Interesting concept with Greek and Italian dishes. The quality of the ingredients as well as the dishes themselves were extremely good. The prices are very reasonable and higher average. The service was extremely attentive and took excellent care of us. The atmosphere is clean and well maintained. It is possible to sit outside and inside. Parking is limited - early visit is recommended. Gladly again!

Everything was really tasty, the service was a really nice team, there was even currants - unfortunately I didn't find juice, cherries and chicken, but there were strawberries and turkey breast.

Solid restaurant...but given the number of dishes on the menu, it's difficult to maintain high quality everywhere and at all times. Service is very nice and the children's playground is a great feature, unfortunately a bit outdated.

What's more, the entire team works very harmoniously and attuned to each other; they understand the craft of gastronomy and restaurants. No effort is spared to make the customer satisfied, no, happy... You respond to every wish and try to fulfill them as best as possible. And… Always, really always, you try to create space for three or four people. Super nice atmosphere, inside and out, and you can linger and feast there for a long time. Recommendations include mixed fish platter for two people. Or a freshly caught fish... Everything at its finest, highly recommended! Top !

The food came and I was really disappointed, everything was so carelessly prepared. For me there are no two times. Soory Yes, tastes are different.

The food tastes great, as does the location, but for years there has been an increasing disproportion between content and price. The portions are getting smaller and the price increases with each new card version. We have had regular customers there for years, but will avoid the whole thing in the future.

Four of us were here on a Sunday. Luckily we had booked a table in advance otherwise it might have looked bad. The choice of food is large, too large for me personally. The meal came pretty quickly, which made us very happy.

Best place for outdoor dining in Jena

Were invited for a birthday. The food was good and the service was very friendly. The cuisine is Greek and Italian.

We visited for the first time yesterday. The first impression is good even before eating. Staff is very friendly and attentive. The starters, grilled pepperoni and feta cheese, were very tasty and the quantity was ideal as there wasn't too much. The main courses, gnocchi and gyros with Metaxa sauce, were delicious. The portions are definitely okay for the prices. Afterwards we had a creme brulee and the tiramisu, both delicious. Unfortunately, the cracking of the sugar layer was missing from the crème brulee. Conclusion: We will definitely come back.

Service and hospitality are more than perfect and the food follows on from there! We don't even have to talk about the price performance! When we are back in Jena, we will come back to you!

System restaurateur but with very good quality of food and very good service. I felt very comfortable as a guest and special requests were fulfilled very well. Price/performance ratio is really good. And there are umbrellas on the large terrace so you can sit outside. I would always advise introducing places on the weekend.

There are only a few parking spaces in front of the restaurant, it's best to look for them on the street as you can always find something a few meters further away. The service is very nice but sometimes a bit overwhelmed by the number of guests. The ambience is very loud and unfortunately it doesn't feel comfortable. Nevertheless, the food is delicious and due to the friendly, funny condition there are 4 ⭐️

The tavern is always worth a visit. All around everything is tip top. The food is very tasty, the price-performance ratio is great and the best thing is the owners/staff. EVERYONE is always friendly and extremely fast. We have been there many times and for years it has been one of the best places to go in and around Jena - quality, hospitality and warmth have been consistently at a high level for years.
