Unfortunately, as a large group, we had to wait for our table at the beginning, which was annoying, but this was made up for later in the evening by the good service and organization, as well as the delicious food.

Amazing location , great food, we were 6 persons and we order mix grill wich was amazing and perfect grilled , the place its amazing enviroment and great staff !! Highly recommended and for us its the best place you can go if you are arround looking for a good dinner and interesting place too eat .

The food was great, but the staff were a bit overwhelmed, and after we'd already paid over €100 for three people and left a tip, they suddenly found a dessert we didn't have to pay for, and instead of taking part of our tip, they made us pay for it. I didn't think that was so great.

I've known this tavern for over 25 years. It's been a long time since we visited Jena. Unfortunately, they're currently renovating while the place is still open. The ambiance suffers as a result, and the gyro wasn't as crispy as usual and was very greasy. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We'll be happy to come back after the renovations!

The food was tasty and the quantity was plentiful. Unfortunately, despite making a reservation, we had to wait 20 minutes before a table became available. The first drinks were available after 30 minutes. Then we waited another 40 minutes for the food – that's too long, even though the place has plenty of seating and was busy on a Friday. The staff were still very friendly. Plenty of free parking is available.

We had pizza, two of which were very good, one not so good because it was a bit dry. The problem is that there's a lot on offer, but not enough for vegans.

I was satisfied with my visit and would definitely visit the tavern again.

The menu is huge, so the food is noticeably not completely fresh and homemade. The salad was carelessly thrown together and the ham was thrown over it as it came from the package. Pretty mass production, I can't share the enthusiasm of many of my friends about the tavern.

A very good address for decades.

I've been a guest several times now, and in addition to the solid, good food, I have to especially praise the great staff. I always felt welcome and well-cared for as a guest, and any problems that arose were resolved immediately. I find the atmosphere very pleasant. There's a small playground right on the premises and a small parking lot right in front of the entrance. Public transport is also only 5 minutes away. My conclusion: I really enjoy the tavern and will definitely be back again.

We were there for a family celebration. The food arrived promptly and was tasty and of good quality. Only the tzatziki left something to be desired. The staff was friendly. The children's playground is a big plus.

Simply the best from start to finish, Sensei deserves it, it's a dream service with a lot of emphasis here, I can only recommend it!!!

Despite the busy schedule, the service staff keeps an eye on everything, including the trickle-in of repeat orders. They also bring food to large groups at the same time, which is a particular challenge in a packed restaurant. There's a huge selection of Italian and Greek dishes, so much so that it's almost overwhelming. But that's only a luxury problem. I had the grilled salmon with jacket potatoes and tzatziki. It was delicious, but for my taste, the salmon was bordering on being a bit too dry. Perhaps the staff could ask for the desired doneness when taking your order.

Unfortunately, the meat wasn't medium-rare, but it was cooked all the way through, but it was still tasty. We've had much better tzatziki and grilled pepperoni.

Very kind and generous service (a generous glas of wine). Calzone was really tasty. Definitely a place worth visiting while in Jena.

I can't recommend this tavern. I had a tough lamb chop. I complained, but I didn't get a replacement or anything. The waitress said, "That can happen," and said, "Yes, of course it can happen," but she didn't offer a replacement.

There are always complainers, you can't please everyone 🤷🏼 Today (it's a public holiday), we were warmly welcomed by friendly and attentive staff and served delicious, tasty, and plentiful food. Totally good value for money, we'd be happy to come back. Thank you.

The service was super friendly, both to children and pets. The food arrived in just 20 minutes. There's a great beer garden with a small playground right next door for the little ones. The food was also fantastic!

Celebrated my birthday in a very nice atmosphere. Wonderful food, very happy again. Above all, the staff was very nice and very quick.

The picture shows a piece of gyro with the fat still visible. I've only ever seen gyro on a skewer, the outermost part of which is cut off, similar to a Turkish doner kebab. This typically gives the meat a roasted flavor and makes it firm, while the fat cooks out over time. Here, however, in the gyro pan with Metaxa sauce, the meat had no bite, was often fatty and marbled, and was limp and soft with no roasted flavor. I've posted a photo of the fat on the meat. The Metaxa sauce didn't have any particular flavor, and the cheese on top was thick, but had no flavor of its own. Several different employees were involved, but we received the appetizer platter for everyone at the same time as the main courses, so the table and our stomachs were extremely full.

Parking is available in front of the restaurant. Super friendly welcome. Incredibly delicious food at reasonable prices, and helpful staff. Thank you.

Large, well-kept rooms and a very attentive, quick staff are particularly highlighted in my rating. The menu, from which I choose a reasonably priced vegetarian pizza at €11, features a wide range of Greek and Italian dishes. As a starter I choose olives, tzatziki and bread, all great. However, the pizza disappointed me and brought the rating down. Of the artichokes announced on the menu on the veg. There is absolutely no pizza to be found. They are simply missing. The pizza is a bit too cheese-heavy for my taste, which also visually means that there is not much of the colorful vegetables such as peppers, mushrooms, broccoli... to be seen. All in all, a recommendable, nice restaurant with a parking space in front of the door and the possibility for larger private events.

The tavern, a place in Jena that was previously unknown to me. Interesting concept with Greek and Italian dishes. The quality of the ingredients as well as the dishes themselves were extremely good. The prices are very reasonable and higher average. The service was extremely attentive and took excellent care of us. The atmosphere is clean and well maintained. It is possible to sit outside and inside. Parking is limited - early visit is recommended. Gladly again!

Everything was really tasty, the service was a really nice team, there was even currants - unfortunately I didn't find juice, cherries and chicken, but there were strawberries and turkey breast.
