L'Osteria in Potsdam

For this category of restaurant, you obviously won't get a top product at a reasonable price. But anyway, good and enough.

Unfortunately, the reviews of the restaurant operator simply roll off the page and criticism is brushed aside, see various reviews. Our current experience: The food - the various pizzas from the eight people - was very good. The get-together of the guests arriving from different parts of Germany was made more difficult by the train station-like noise/volume in the large restaurant and by the industrial-style feeding of the guests within two hours, which we were not aware of. More or less expulsion - not nice and therefore not recommended.

It's always something special to eat here. Interesting people, nice service and delicious food. The huge pizzas in particular are highly recommended. The noodles are also very tasty.

System gastronomy can also be really good. I like the rustic atmosphere, the pizzas are huge and it's great that you can share them, with two different toppings. Starters are also really good and the service is usually very quick. It's well attended here. You should bring some time with you.

We were here with 23 hikers and were satisfied. What bothered me was my question as to whether the boss would give a position for our people at the end, which was answered in the negative. If I bring 23 people here, it shouldn't be a problem to find a location. It's a shame, I was very surprised that people were like that. Please think about it. :-(

Food was very good, but the waiter today was impossible, impossible, disrespectful - they couldn't even bring us "not cold water" because the waiter said there was no warmer water. Nonsense - I come from the industry myself - of course you can also bring water that doesn't come from the fridge. So much happened today that we were so disappointed today. The waiter even wanted to pay me less money at the end - it was only 25 cents, but it was such an impudence to have the money at the end and just round it up without asking - sorry, but that was too much of a good thing. It's a shame, but that was our last visit.

A stunning pastoral place, very very tasty, quality food, large and satisfying portions, huge pizzas, excellent service, the most charming waitress Yubi with a lot of goodwill, kindness and kindness. The food arrived quickly, hot and fresh. good prices Highly recommended.

First of all, the atmosphere is good. It tastes good too. Food comes out quickly. I had pasta orecchiette di manzo al limone and it was okay. The beef was quite soft. Perhaps because I asked for it not to be salty when ordering, it wasn't salty overall.

If you get a table outside, consider yourself lucky. The service was very rare for me and I have had better service. :) The food was delicious so far.

The size of the pizzas were so big and the taste was unmatched even in Italy, and the prices are affordable, the staff is friendly and helpful 💗

We ate at L'Osteria on September 17th, 2024. We had booked the table in advance and we were able to sit outside in wonderful weather with a view of the Old Ride. The service was very friendly, the drinks we ordered in advance were brought quickly. The pizza and risotto we ordered were tasty and generous in size. I'm understating it: I've never (!) eaten a larger pizza before! L'Osteria was extremely well attended by all age groups. I'm only here in Potsdam for a few days, but I'm happy to recommend this restaurant!

We come here regularly as a group and are treated excellently. The food tastes good, although the portions of goris or lasagna could be a little larger. In terms of price, L’Osteria is in a slightly higher range. However, it is always an experience to see huge pizzas that are bigger than the plate. Fantastic

Really highly recommended! Very inviting and upscale atmosphere at really fair prices! Extremely friendly and fast service. Without anticipating the surprise: by far the largest pizza I have ever had in a restaurant - at an absolutely fair price and with excellent taste and very good quality. Conclusion: absolute recommendation. I'd love to come back.

It's difficult to rate this place. Saturday evening shortly before 10... we were on the road for a long time. Took an extra detour for L Osteria, as it is open until midnight. Then that one friendly comment: the kitchen is too... walk towards the city center, because there will be something else there... we would have liked to eat, enjoy the place and the warm summer evening

The pizza was particularly GOOD. Portion of food was generous as well. Our server, she was very attentive and friendly. I would recommend this place!

On our first visit in the summer, the three of us were seated at a very small table and after we ordered, after half an eternity the starters were put on the table along with the main courses. During another visit at the beginning of October, on the occasion of my little son's birthday, we were assigned one of the small tables by the window, which were so close together that I could hardly get through. The waiter, who didn't seem to think much of us, had a hard time understanding what we wanted to order and we had to repeat ourselves and correct him several times. Only one plate of the starter dishes was cleared away after a while.

Enjoy delicious pizza right by the water. Fast, friendly service. Gladly again.

Unfortunately the pizza wasn't tasty. I ordered it to take away and had to point it out to the employee at the counter because I hadn't received any feedback as to whether the pizza was ready. They only checked after I asked, and by that time the pizza had already cooled down.

The food is OK so far, although expensive. Ordered via Lieferando and received the wrong food. No one has been available by phone for two hours. I know that you have to have some patience on a Sunday evening. But in two hours, with numerous calls, someone should at least answer the phone at some point.

Back again, the meal was really good and we were seated fast, our waiter was really fast getting our order and friendly. He was then given two large tables considering he managed them and us he did a great job, he had no help from other team members. In the middle of that we asked another waiter for bread and they forgot this and it never came, which was disappointing. Id recommend that Id recommend you go but when it is a bit quitter and you can have the full service.

This is the second time I've had to give the thumbs down. 1st time order not received. MAfter 20 minutes of asking, cheeky answer. Second time order didn't come, forgotten even though the restaurant was empty. Only 3* for the ambience. Too bad!!!! I went to the restaurant at the request of an invitation. ;-(

Pizza was extremely good just like their other outlets in Berlin but service could have been better . We requested pizza to be cut and instruction was completely missed. Also at the end after waiting for 10 mins I had to find the person attending me and request him the bill. It seemed we were forgotten. I do not write reviews but since we did not let the quality of service to us reflect in tipping amount, I write it here that service was a miss.

Delicious food in the middle of Potsdam on the banks of the Havel. Pizzas are huge and can even be served half/half. The service was very accommodating - thank you Joline. The only thing that was annoying was the queue next to the table. Otherwise great!

Our waitress Joleene was very polite. The food came very quickly. There were few radishes on the salad (complaint on a high level) and a bit too little mango. The pizzas are very large and tasty. The lasagna was also very good and was just the right size.

The food was okay, but the staff was even less so. Not only was the waiting time for drinks or appetizers absurd, the staff also left a lot to be desired. The waiters seemed like they weren't in the mood and had forgotten a lot. We had to ask for an ashtray several times and the plates and drinks remained empty in front of us for almost an hour. We had high hopes for such a great location, but we were extremely disappointed. The large portions are also difficult to manage. We skipped dessert due to the lack of service, what a shame! It was ok but not worth a second visit. Hopefully the L'Osteria team is working on it.

We love coming here to eat. It's always delicious, the ambience is great and the service (now Jolien) is very nice and attentive. The Quattro Formagie pizza is highly recommended. 😋

Today we had a completely new experience in a restaurant: we, four potential guests, accidentally used a side entrance and then went to the placement service. We were rudely rejected as guests and had to look for another restaurant. We actually thought that the GDR restaurant experiences from 35 years ago were a thing of the past.

We ate at L'Osteria today and it was once again more than delicious. Our waitress Jolien was very friendly and we were looked after very well <3 A big recommendation ^^

Super Location, aber osteuropäisches Personal mit entsprechender Attitüde! Essen war ok, Pizza riesig, aber die Terrasse ist sowohl am Wasser als auch direkt vor dem Restaurant komplett unbeleuchtet, so dass man nichts sieht beim Essen und die Mücken einen Totstechen! Erbärmlich wenn man bei dem Umsatz noch nicht mal Tischlichter aufstellen kann! Habe schon viele Male besser Italienisch gegessen!!!

Bei der Bedienung gab es keine Probleme, man hat direkt einen platzt bekommen und alle waren super freundlich. Das Essen ist schnell gekommen und hat super geschmeckt. Die Mitarbeiterin joline, die unsere Bedienung übernommen hat, war sehr nett und super hilfsbereit . Ich würde jederzeit wieder herkommen. :)

A very popular pizzeria, the pizzas are the size of a wagon wheel, the dough is wonderfully thin but not hard but really tasty. It's best to reserve a table in advance.
