Einmal sehr gut essen zum normalen Preis nur parken ist etwas schwierig

Das Essen besonderer Art für 26 Euro. Vor allem Medium bestellt und durch bekommen. Die Weinsoße war nur Wasser und Wein. So flüssig, dass die Kroketten schon matschig wurden. Meine Empfehlung. Alkohol kann man dort trinken aber gegessen werden sollte dort nicht.

Rundum zufrieden. Wir waren nur kurz in Potsdam und der Magen drückte. Wir fanden diese Pizzeria und ich muss sagen, dass das Ambiente sehr schon wahr. Die Bedienung, ich vermute die Besitzer, waren so lieb zu den Kindern und das Essen kam umgehend. Essen waren 6 von 5 Sternen. Die Sanitäranlagen waren super sauber und ein riesen Wickeltisch war auch da. Vielen Dank für das tolle Essen und die Gastfreundschaft.

Wir waren gestern Abend spontan hier essen. Sehr schönes Ambiente, super nette Bedienung und das Essen war wirklich richtig gut.sehr empfehlenswert. Sollten wir mal wieder hier auf der Ecke sein, kommen wir wieder.

Guten Salat mit Thunfisch gegessen, aber das beste war die Knoblauch Suppe, wunderbar. Nur zu empfehlen.

Prima Italiener. Gutes Essen, freundliche Bedienung. Hier gibt es noch ein gutes Preis-leistungsverhältnis bei guten Portionen. Jederzeit wieder.

Service war freundlich und schnell essen war ok aber nicht besonders Erwartungen wurden aber übertroffen, die waren nämlich deutlich tiefer angesetzt als wir die klebenden Menü Karten bekommen hatten.

Essen schmeckt, bei gutem Preis- leistungs- Verhältnis. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

The pizza is really delicious. I think the price is very reasonable. Lately, I've always ordered takeout, which was very easy and straightforward. The staff is very friendly, and even when you order takeout, they sometimes give you a free shot. ^^

Here price and performance are right

We dined at this lovely Italian restaurant yesterday and today. We received a very warm welcome. The service was exceptionally friendly, and a welcoming atmosphere quickly developed. The food was excellent. My wife had vitello tonnato both times, and I had pizza and seafood once, and spaghetti and seafood another time. The food was superb. Since neither of us tolerates garlic well, we requested that it be omitted. Our request was accommodated without any problems, and we both enjoyed the meals immensely. The drinks were also excellent: the Chardonnay, the freshly tapped draft pilsner, and the grappa were all superb. Many thanks also for the complimentary schnapps. The value for money is very good, and we will definitely return to Il Castello next time we are in Potsdam. Many thanks to the owners, and all the best until next time. ... Absolutely fantastic value for money. We were surprised to find such a good price in a pizzeria in a larger city, compared to the ones in our small town where we live.

The two of us went for dinner and chose carpaccio as a starter, followed by a vegan pizza for my wife and I, spaghetti carbonara. Everything was really good. Beforehand, we had olives with white bread as a welcome gift, and to finish, we each had a grappa. We were completely satisfied and can recommend it without reservation.

I really wanted to like this restaurant because of the location and the nice outdoor area for the kids but I have been so disappointed by the food every time we’ve come. Also, they advertise that you can pay by card but 2 out of our 3 visits the card machine wasn’t working.

We were at the restaurant with a group of about 10 people. Unfortunately, the service was very disappointing: The waiter seemed unfriendly and impatient from the start. The food was rather mediocre, and one appetizer was completely forgotten – that can happen with a large group, but there was no apology. The payment was particularly disappointing: The menu stated that card payments were possible. When we wanted to pay, we were suddenly told that this wasn't possible. We had clearly seen the card reader right at the counter. When we asked about it, the waiter reacted very rudely and simply said, "It's just not possible today." Our request to split the bill was also declined. He initially refused to give us an official bill either – only after repeated inquiries did he hand it over, very reluctantly. Overall, it was an unpleasant visit. The food was mediocre, the service disrespectful, and the payment process lacked transparency. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the restaurant to groups or guests who value good service.

Il Castello is a wonderful Italian restaurant and a family-run business. We've been here several times and always feel very comfortable. There's a lovely garden where you can enjoy your meal outside. The service is always friendly, the food is delicious, and the prices are absolutely reasonable. I highly recommend it! 👍

Very attentive and friendly staff, delicious food.

The service was friendly, and we were served quickly. The food was OK. I got the wrong omelet, but I didn't complain. We sat outside. Ants were crawling all over the first table we were directed to. It happens when you're outside. The seat cushions there are very stained. I'm not that sensitive, but it still bothered me. What bothered me most was the continued lack of service. I would have liked dessert. Since it was getting too late for that, we hoped for a bill. It wasn't possible to contact them from the table without rudely shouting. I then got up and asked for the bill in the restaurant. It took a while, but then it actually arrived. In the form of a display that was shoved in my face. With the corresponding amount. There was no way to check the bill or even calculate it. There were two of us. The menu disappeared after ordering. In the end we left feeling a bit frustrated and under time pressure.

It was okay. The food was good but nothing special. The ambiance was nice, but a bit run-down and dated.

It says right on the door that you can pay by card, so we didn't ask. Then, when we went to pay, we were surprised: They don't accept card payments. Salami pizza was inedible. Lasagna was swimming in grease. So, definitely not a recommendation.

My food was forgotten, and when I pointed it out, I was yelled at loudly!!! I paid €62 and was insulted like I've never been in my entire life!! Absolutely not a recommendation! As a small addition, I'm sitting at home crying.

Some of our food order was forgotten to be sent to the kitchen. One part of the table had already finished eating while the other part was still waiting. We had to actively ask for our food. One waiter for the entire outdoor area is definitely not enough.

If you want to go out for a bad meal on Sunday, this is the place for you.

A really really great restaurant and the owner is really nice. We ordered from Lieferando and so far it has always gone very well. Unfortunately, things should be different today. The delivery should arrive between half past eight and eight o'clock. Shortly after eight the owner called us to tell us that the driver had shown up very rudely and without a warming box. When the owner asked him to get the warming box because he didn't want the food to arrive cold. The driver then insulted him and drove away without the delivery. The owner asked us to pick up the food, which we did straight away. He apologized several times and gave us two large pieces of tiramisu and a bottle of Chianti. As always, the food was very tasty and we will definitely come back. But in the future it will be better without Lieferando.

Great food, but beware, the owner only accepts German cards for payment, so pay in cash.

Beforehand there was bread and olives, neither of which was of really good quality and unfortunately didn't taste like anything. For the main course: Pasta not homemade, salmon and vegetables okay, but everything very greasy, mashed potatoes from the bag, the veal liver was tough and bathed in fat. Overall, the portion was too small and didn't really fill you up, which wasn't so bad in our case because it wasn't really tasty or good anyway. Sorry for this harsh criticism. The prices are comparatively cheap, which is probably also due to the quality. I would rather eat slightly better products and pay a little more for them. The service was fine and the ambience was average. Unfortunately I don't have any recommendations for this restaurant.

The vine was too warm. The Vitello Tornado was not even to be found on the plate. It was covered by a white sauce. The eye eats too, is all I say. The taste was okay but it was unappetizing. My girlfriend ordered a salad with tuna. She also had to look for the tuna. Overall, the salad didn't taste like anything. It lacked spice. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed the food and didn't order any more main courses. I don't think I'll get lost there again. The waiter who had nothing to do didn't come over and didn't ask if everything was okay. Terrible !

After visiting the Karl Foerster Garden, you can visit this restaurant. Delicious Italian food in a nice atmosphere.

There is also a spacious outdoor area with fountains and all sorts of sculptures. The sound of the water calms you down and pleasantly blocks out the noise of traffic. The atmosphere inside is dignified. The food is well sized and tastes excellent. Prices small. Service attentive. Overall, a good place to enjoy food away from home.

I celebrated my birthday here with 15 people. The staff was quick and extremely friendly. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

I ordered a mixed salad with feta cheese (for a mere €8.90) and got a portion of iceberg lettuce (probably from the local Rewe) with half a tomato. I doubt that the sauce was made by myself. Topped with the “mixed” salad with a few chunks of cheap feta cheese. For €8.90 I really expected more. Maybe a few strips of pepper, some cucumber, onions, corn or at least some variation in the lettuce and a few more tomato slices. At least the staff was nice.

Unfortunately, cash payments have only been possible for some time now.

Everything is great here. I had a delicious Pizza Mista and my wife had Pizza number 81. Service very correct. Delicious wheat beer. Recommended!

We were there at lunchtime. It was very empty. The food was very good. Unfortunately the service is not at all. No smile, no asking if you want anything else. Since one plate wasn't even half eaten, we asked for it to be packed up. Eyebrows were raised and mouths twisted. "If you want it that way." was the answer and the food was packaged in this way. Something like that is inappropriate. Too bad!

Lots of outdoor spaces. But it's on a noisy street. The service was good - friendly and quick. The lasagna was mediocre, slightly sour in taste, lots of sauce, little meat and cheese. The bread was dry and didn't work at all.

Positive: - enough parking spaces - the service was there quickly and drinks and food were picked up quickly - Both were finished quickly Negative: - the pizza was below average, especially the ham was almost inedible, the whole thing was very oily and very “flabby” in the middle - the liver was so poorly prepared that it almost bordered on a waste of resources, very dry and even harder in consistency - ironically, the manageable amount was almost a relief The service did exactly what it was there for and any empathy seemed very good. Ambience: Everything seemed careless, no material on the tables, nothing that made you feel like you were at an Italian restaurant (outside area) - so you couldn't hear any music Our first and last visit there

Il Castello Potsdam: A disappointment across the board Unfortunately, Il Castello in Potsdam was a complete disappointment on my last visit. The service was simply unacceptable. The waiter who served us was not only in a bad mood but also extremely rude. This contributed significantly to an unpleasant atmosphere. The food itself was also a disappointment. The portions were far too small for the high prices the restaurant charges. You leave the restaurant feeling like you weren't really full. Another negative point is the lack of the option to pay by card. In this day and age, this is simply impractical and no longer appropriate. The entire staff was also extremely unfriendly and unprofessional. What was particularly shocking was an insult we had to listen to when we asked for the bill. The waiter asked us in a condescending tone if we spoke Polish. Such behavior is completely unacceptable and lacks any respect. Overall, I unfortunately cannot recommend Il Castello in Potsdam. The poor service, small portions and unfriendly staff make the visit an extremely unpleasant experience.

The restaurant resembles a pub. The interior is run down. Food is relatively ok. I personally wouldn't come again. But staff was nice.

Food okay for this low price. If you want more quality, you should go somewhere else and dig deeper into your pockets. Portion was okay too, not too much. The plate was not overloaded.
