Trattoria I Fratelli in Potsdam

The food was truly awful. It's pathetic that the kitchen can't even manage to include a single lettuce leaf with a €33 dish. I've never experienced anything like it. My companion's meal was equally terrible. The rice was overcooked, the sauce tasteless, and the meat had no texture. But what's really important is that they charge €4 for a 0.3L glass of iced tea. The service was also questionable. After we received our food, all we were told was "enjoy your meal." I'm familiar with that kind of attitude from the military, but I expect more from a restaurant. And then, to top it off, we, as guests, were blamed for the server not asking if we wanted to pay by cash or card. I cannot recommend this restaurant. There are many, many better restaurants in Potsdam.

We went there because it looked nice and had good reviews. We wanted a quick bite to eat. Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed. We weren't greeted and were greeted with a rather bored reception. The bruschetta was served on dry, cold bread. The soups tasted of instant powder and frozen vegetables. The focaccia bread was made with instant spices from a tub. Then the bill listed something from the counter, I don't know what that was. Overall, not recommended. A shame.

Absolutely top-notch: You won't find this price and performance anywhere else in Potsdam! And we've lived here as a family for almost 20 years! A long-established team that's been here for us six days a week for almost a quarter of a century! We've always remained loyal to the shop, especially during the coronavirus pandemic, so it can survive: we order regularly every week! And the fact that you can't pay by card here is due to the owner's previous bad experience with a billing provider who had a restrictive contract. So: Absolutely recommended – and: One of the very few restaurants in the restaurant industry that's open on Mondays, when you're craving pizza and pasta! Anyone who says otherwise hasn't heard anything!

Definitely the worst Italian restaurant I've ever been to. The pasta was tasteless, the pizza was mediocre, and for the tiramisu, we were asked if we wanted it with or without alcohol. We said without, but we got it with alcohol. And on top of that, they didn't accept card payments. One can only assume they're trying to evade taxes this way. The 4.6 stars are a complete mystery to me.

When I lived on the other side of town, I still went to this cozy and delicious Trattoria Fratelli at least once a week. The food was absolutely delicious and there was a great selection of drinks and dishes. Plus, the staff was very friendly, and it was a great place to chat and laugh. I'll definitely be back when I'm traveling toward Brandenburg ;D.

The spaghetti dish was very tasty and good value for money. I sat at one of the almost dozen tables outside. Around 9:30 p.m., the lights were turned on. Incidentally, the waitress even prevented another guest's bike from being stolen. 👏🏻 Some people are really too trusting and don't even lock the door. 🤦🏻‍♂️

I had the seafood salad. For the first time in my life, the seafood was unpleasantly slimy, with a lot of lettuce. I would never order from here again. The pizza with asparagus and hollandaise was okay, but not enjoyable. It could have been bigger. The bottom was partly black. The restrooms were run down and smelly. The service was very nice.

It's actually a decent restaurant, but such rude staff unfortunately ruins the desire to eat or order there again. The pizzas used to be larger, but they're still great for the price. But when the staff makes you feel like an idiot because you want to pay by card, ask for a tip on the receipt, or ask for a pizza slice for takeout, it ruins the experience. Next time, it's better to go to a restaurant where you, as a paying customer, are actually appreciated. The restaurant is probably doing too well not to treat regulars with a little more respect.

The food was okay: the garlic soup didn't really taste like garlic and the spicy paella was seasoned normally. The fact that card payment is not possible should have been stated when ordering, not just when the request for payment was expressed. With 4 people, the sum is already high and you don't necessarily have enough cash in reserve if you plan to pay by card.

Rarely experienced worse service. If you don't feel like working in the hospitality industry, you should stay at home. 0 friendliness. When you entered the restaurant you had the impression that you weren't welcome. The whole restaurant was empty and then two older gentlemen sat down at the largest table in the back. The waitress had nothing to do other than ask the guests why they were sitting at the largest table. She should be glad that someone was there at all. Never again.

We've been coming here for at least ten years now, traditionally our first dinner when we're in Potsdam and it's been delicious for ten years! Here you really think about humidity, temperature and the consequences for the pizza dough and the Penne Arrabbiata are the best in the world - probably because they were made by the boss today :) for the next ten years at least!

So, since I don't belong to the Italian culinary fan club, I let my partner persuade me to go to this Italian restaurant in Potsdam. Starter: tomato soup (delicious). Appetizer platter (very tasty) Main dish: Pasta with fillet strips (a dream) and spaghetti in gorgonzola sauce (another dream) If two people push plates back and forth and the plates are empty at the end, then it was a successful meal. With half a liter of wine and a large bottle of St. Pelegrino we didn't pay €50, so it was also good value. The service was friendly and quick. In terms of ambience, the store could be spruced up a bit, but that's actually nonsense on a high level. We live in the area and will definitely return. Top.

Wir hatten eine gefühlt tiefgefrorene Pizza und Ravioli mit Gorgonzola Sauce, Brokkoli, Rucola und Parmesan, Ravioli sollte mit Spinat Füllung sein, nichts von Spinat gefühl, Gorgonzola hat normalerweise einen sehr intensiven Geschmack, das war Tetrapark Sauce, aber keine Gorgonzola, Brokkoli waren überkocht und matschig, wenig von Grana Käse und Rucola. Gegessen nur weil wir Hunger hatten aber sonst hätte ich den Restaurant verlassen können. Das sind keine Leute die kochen können. Lieber zu Hause essen. Man fühlt sich verarscht. Nie wieder da!

Trotz guter Lage für mich, werde ich dieses Restaurant nie wieder besuchen. Die Kellnerin ist mir zum 3. Mal derart negativ aufgefallen, so das die Atmosphäre durch ihre Aggressivität und Unfreundlichkeit den Abend verdorben hat. Da uns dies zum 3. Mal passiert, kann es kein "schlechter Tag" gewesen sein. Die Dame rollt mit den Augen, reagiert auf Servicefehler (hatte meinen Salat vergessen; Wasser war warm) mit Aggressivität und zusammengekniffenen Augen. Das Essen ist qualitativ für den Preis in Ordnung, ich muss wegen dieser Servicekraft jedoch dringend von einem Besuch abraten. Für mich war das heute das letzte Mal!

wir waren heute zum ersten und letzten mal bei diesem „italiener“. mir ist schleierhaft, wie hier gute bewertungen zu stande kommen. service wird hier klein geschrieben („kinderstühle stehen oben beim klo“, „die tomaten können nicht schlecht sein, da hat sich noch nie jemand beschwert“(oh doch, später wurde zugegeben, dass sie in der tat schlecht waren) und man muss anscheinend die woche karte auswendig können, da auf „wer hatte f?“ ratlosigkeit herrschte und diese durch die gleiche, aber umso nachdrücklicher gestellte frage behoben werden sollte (der hinweis f=teigtaschen mit pfifferlingen hätte helfen können). zum essen bleibt nur zu sagen, günstig ja, aber wer schon jemals eine nur halbwegs richtig zubereitete pizza gegessen hat oder evt schon einmal in italien speiste, tut es euch nicht an. lieber woanders 2-3€ mehr zahlen und essen bekommen, was man gern isst, denn das ist zumindest unser ziel.

Hier hat schon einmal jemand geschrieben "gut bürgerlich mit italienischem Flair" . Das trifft es vielleicht. Also italienische Küche ist es nicht, das zeigt einem schon die Karte. Das Essen ist ok: Reichlich, aber geschmacklich nicht der "Bringer". Aber das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist absolut ok. Im Garten zu sitzen ist nett, im Winter würde ich dort nicht hingehen.

Eine riesige Speisekarte wartet auf die Gãste. Holzofenpizza und superleckere Tomatensoße, die schon sehr lange im Pizzaofen kochte. Das habe ich so noch nie gegessen. Es gibt so ziemlich alles, was die italienische Küche zu bieten hat. Nicht nur Pizza und Pasta. Im Garten sitzt man gemütlich unter alten Bäumen. Und dann DIE Bedienung!!! Zunächst etwas „streng“ aber dann taut sie auf. Sie hat wirklich Ahnung von ihrer Küche. Erzählt gerne über das Brotbacken mit Pizzateig. Besonders gut: Außer uns waren hier keine Touris unterwegs. Im Vergleich zur Brandenburger. Zweimal waren wir dort und bestimmt noch viele, viele weitere Male.

Die Portionen nicht nicht sehr groß, dafür günstig und lecker, Vorspeise mit Käse überbackene Artischocken und Hauptgericht Nudeln mit scharfer Sauce Artischocken und Käse.....

Der Eingangsbereich sieht angenehm aus. Das Ambiente sehr rustikal mit leichten Hang zum Kitsch. Das Essen ist schmackhaft und reichlich, Preiswert. Wer gute Pizza essen möchte sollte eine Andere Pizzeria wählen.

Gut bürgerliches italienisch angehauchtes Essen. Die Preise sind günstig, das Essen lecker und die Portionen ausreichend groß. Der Service ist gut.
