We ordered empanadas with meat to take away, but later it turned out that they were vegetable. The cooks worked and served food without gloves.

Great restaurant, very tasty food and accommodating conditions. We came here by chance and were extremely pleasantly surprised. The interior is very cozy and inviting. The food was extremely good for my taste, I have rarely eaten so good and fresh. If we are in Heidelberg again we will definitely come back here. Update August 8, 2024 We were back today after almost a year. Unfortunately, the restaurant was now significantly worse than last year. Homeless people sit on the seating in front of the restaurant and no furniture is set up. Inside everything was dusty and full of spider webs. The neighboring table was dirty even though the restaurant had only just opened. There was no soap in the two toilets, men's and women's, and everything was dirty. Unfortunately unrecognizable. Unfortunately we won't be coming anymore. There is a wide gap between price and performance

We had dinner in this visually beautiful restaurant. The food was delicious, the drinks too. Unfortunately there was neither the lemonade nor the iced tea that was featured on the menu. The service was friendly but still disappointing. The tables were not cleared for an unusually long time after the guests left. There was no possibility of ordering anything else after receiving the main course (drinks, dessert). We went to the counter to pay after our plates weren't cleared away. All in all a bit of a shame as the concept and the food were really good.

I rarely give one star, but unfortunately you can't give this restaurant more. The service was extremely overwhelmed and the orders were incorrect. For example, instead of empanadas with vegetables, a salad was served, or a vegan was served a dish with meat. There was no allergen card. All cocktails were not available. When the wrong dishes were served, there was no apology from the waitress. The restaurant was generally unclean and there was an unpleasant smell of food. Not recommendable.

- Visit in the best weather, but there is no seating outside. - Most of the drinks are not available, cola and beer are too warm. - They do not have an allergen card when asked. - Instead of the vegetable empanadas we ordered, the overwhelmed waiter brings us a salad. Instead of a vegan dish, he serves the same meat dish on the menu. - The filling of the empanadas was tasty, but the dough was bone dry. The main courses were still best, but not a highlight either. - Everything is dusty and sticky, the toilets are dirty. - €77 for two people (2 main courses, 1 empanadas, 1 salad, 4 drinks) = No recommendation!

Unfortunately a disappointment. We as Latinos know good Latin American cuisine and our food had no taste. Salt, pepper...etc. liked it. Unfortunately we couldn't eat our food. The restaurant was completely filled with smoke from the kitchen. We stunk of it. A pity.

Waren heute gleich nach der Öffnung im Lokal. Die Servicekraft hat gleich danach einer anderen Kundin gesagt, dass das Lokal mitte August schließt. Hm... Ich hatte Cevice und Aji de Gallina. Daran war nichts auszusetzen. Meine Frau hatte Papa Rellena. Diese war im Kern eiskalt. Nach Reklamation wurde das Essen neu gemacht und war genauso kalt. Wir verzichteten dann auf einen zweiten Verbesserungsversuch. In der Damentoilette war eine Kabine mit Putzutensilien zugestellt und die zweite mit Papier und leeren Rollen auf dem Boden. Am Nachbartisch wurde eine Vorspeise von der Bedienung auf den Tisch fallen gelassen. Alles innerhalb von 30 Minuten. Besser schließen als unprofessionell weiter zu wurschteln. Alles gute für euch

The three of us eat here but unfortunately I don't think the food is Peruvian, the food is nothing special and very similar to Asian cuisine and for the food that is offered, the prices are absolutely exorbitant, there was no receipt for the invoice at the end either, beware of rip-off tourists, the service is poor don't pay attention to the customer and prefer to look around somewhere or at their smartphone. After eating, they don't ask if everything was okay and if the food was tasty. This restaurant is relatively small that they charge such high prices. Regardless, once isn't a time, you don't have to go a second time. No recommendation.

Unfortunately you have to give a star otherwise you can't write. We drove over 300km to find something better to eat. Of course we reserved. Saturday 12.30 Opening hours from 12 p.m. We were already at 12 p.m. Of course closed. Only opened at 12.20. After asking three times, we finally got a seat even though no one else was there. We were told straight away that we wouldn't be served until 12.30 and that we wouldn't have anything to drink. 12.35 Asked. Still got nothing and nothing to drink. Then left again at 12.40. There was no one in the kitchen at all. Probably only bouncers at the counter

Unfortunately we were not served by you. We arrived on time and were left sitting at the table without being asked what we wanted. We saw your restaurant in "My Local, Your Local" and thought we'd go out for a special meal. That's why we traveled 4 hours. We didn't even get anything to drink, not even when we asked. That's why we left after 10 minutes.

Very nice in the old town. But I was more looking forward to real Peruvian food, unfortunately my food had more of an Asian touch. The restaurant also serves Vietnamese food... it doesn't fit together somehow. It was ok, but unfortunately we probably won't come back. The waiting time was 1 hour. For the main courses...

Service was very friendly, when we asked what they would recommend we received detailed information, drinks and food arrived in the normal time frame, fresh and very tasty! The ambience, including the music, rounds the whole thing off very nicely.

Go Primos!! You are simply a positive surprise. We became aware of you through “My Local, Your Local”. That was the right move, we are incredibly happy to have found such a great shop. The service is great, super friendly (greetings go out to Sarah), simply accommodating, you feel at home, it's fun and you just want to stay there and enjoy the time!! We've been there twice within a short period of time and the food is fresh, incredibly tasty and the quality speaks for itself! I can only recommend the delicious cocktails, simply refreshing with crushed ice in this weather!! Many thanks to the chef and everyone involved. Always my pleasure !! 10 stars from the heart! <3

The food and service were really embarrassing, we ordered ceville, aji de gallina and arroz chaufa... when the ceviche arrived a smell of rotten fish, of course we returned it and the cooks (all Asians) burst out laughing to see what we got. They had served spicy chicken chili that couldn't be eaten and chaufa rice so spicy that it was equally inedible. What really seemed embarrassing to me was the reaction of the "cooks" when they smelled the ceviche, that would have sent us to the hospital for sure...

I like the food there, a bit pricey but that doesn't detract from the food or the nice service. Only the ambience doesn't quite suit my taste, so if possible, I'd be happy to sit outside! ☺️

The flavor is not that of Peruvian cuisine and the representations of the dishes served were totally different from the original dish. Otherwise it was delicious and the service was gracious.

I've eaten here a few times and the service has always been very friendly and the food has been extremely tasty! The ambience is very nice South American and the music is great too. I can absolutely recommend the restaurant to anyone who appreciates good food, a great atmosphere and very friendly service!!!

All in all it was okay 😊 the food is without a lot of frills, quite down to earth. I think it also depends on the day and how much muse the cook has at the moment. My friend was reasonably happy with his plate. Unfortunately, my dish (vegan carapulcra) was far too spicy. I think they could have put a note on the menu for those not in the know that it has a lot of steam. 🌶 That's usually how it should be. To clear things up, I ordered dessert: picarones. I was a little disappointed because it was quite unrefined and you couldn't even taste the sweet potato or pumpkin - actually just like fat. The jam on the plate didn't make it any better either, because it didn't taste like anything either. The music was too loud for me personally, so I couldn't really relax. Service was friendly and good. You can definitely do better! 😊

It is a cozy and welcoming place with tasty foods. We tried Arroz con Mariscos and Pollo Al Siau and liked them both. The hospitality needs to be mentioned separately considering our kind and cheerful attendant. And one other mention should be made to churros (as the majority did).

This restaurant was my first experience in a Peruvian restaurant and I have to say it was very positive.

Service is friendly and quick, drinks came quickly. Food on the table 15-20 minutes after ordering. Visually the food takes some getting used to but tastes good...it's just a culturally different cuisine. Somewhat small portions, but somewhat high prices to compensate. Also has vegan dishes.

The food was really great! Many vegan and vegetarian dishes, large selection and it tasted great. Unfortunately, the service wasn't good - the tables weren't cleared, we couldn't order more and were actually ignored the whole evening. A pity!

It was a big disappointment! None of us -we were 3- (including me who comes from Peru and I have eaten in different Peruvian restaurants in Germany) enjoyed the meal neither the service. We ordered the whole package for our dinner: entrance, main dish and pisco sour. The ceviche was not enough tasty and marinate, the sweet potatoes were hard as well. Sometimes ceviche fish felt like chewing something without flavour. Rice with mariscos was really poor as well . It had a “nice” decoration of 5 prawns and 6 shells and the rice was in the middle also without marisco flavour. I would have boiled all of that at home and cooked it myself… But We went to the restaurant because we wanted something tasty. Lastly, two of us was almost done with our dinner and one of my friend was still waiting for his dish. I asked the waitress but he had forgotten the order and he apologised for that. So we had to wait for my friend eating his dinner on his own. He got discount for the mistake (just one dish) but still the whole was definitely not worth it. Prices are super high for the quality that they offer. Definitely I am not coming back. I would recommend to go to Frankfurt, there the peruvian food was much more tasty and we didn’t mind to pay the price.

The restaurant los primos is recommended. We made a reservation at short notice and got a nice table without any problem. The service was excellent. A very friendly, young lady who, despite the well-filled restaurant, was always nice and friendly and also explained the dishes competently. Well, generally I don’t like to leave negative reviews, but here I cannot keep silent: the service was bad. Just bad. We ordered a food and specified explicitly, we don’t want it to be too spicy. That wasn’t just a wish, that was a health issue. However, the waiter messed up our order with someone‘s else, and brought us something spicy as hell. In the meanwhile, our order was been already eaten be another person. Waiter suggested to wait for another dish, but we already have been waiting for an hour (!!!) for the first mistaken one. We wanted to eat, but instead we wasted time and left hungry and stressed. I‘m not a restaurant expert, but this seems not to be an expected outcome of a restaurant. Also, the positive reviews here seem very suspicious to me: the users left the best of them seem not to be active in reviewing other places. This in turn makes me think they are rather fake, while the negative ones may be deleted. To conclude: I never visit this place again and I don’t recommend the readers to go there. UPD: just got a reply that my review looks "suspicious" to the host. I didn't really get it. Being upset and angry in this kind of situation is rather expected than suspicious, isn't it? I'm glad my colleagues were satisfied, but it's always easy to stay happy when the failure affects someone else. To be explicit, let me stress, that the failure was really critical in our case, that's a thing. I wouldn't write all this if it wasn't. So the point that "Our service is well-regarded by the majority of our guests" is not applicable at all (especially because here it sounds rather like "everyone is happy, only you are not, so it's your fault"). The other reviewers complained, that their negative reviews were removed, so my suspicions about the artificial positive bias of rates seem to have reasons.

Expensive, long, inedible. The menu only contains the names of dishes in Portuguese; it is not clear what is what. All dishes are fried, peppered and over-salted. We placed an order and specifically specified that it would be without spices and onions. We waited for about an hour and received what looked like pepper-sprinkled vomit. I tried one (!) spoon. My liver still hurts, half an hour later. The waitress, it turns out, took my dish to another person. She offered to wait until they made another one for me and disappeared again for about fifteen minutes. No apology, no compliment. And I’ve been sitting hungry for about an hour😣. The hall is noisy and stuffy. There is no dietary cuisine: everything is fried and with spices, which can cause cholecystitis or perforation of a stomach ulcer. Be careful with your order.

Great unique food. A Bit on the expensive side. But you know that before and especially raw fish should be fresh, so a higher price is fair.

Super nettes junges Team, Das Essen super legggger :) …. das Rindfleisch auf den Punkt das dazugehörige Gemüse knackig und frisch … sehr aromatisch… können wir nur weiter empfehlen … da die Gerichte frisch zubereitet werden kann auch auf Unverträglichkeiten eingegangen werden … also zweimal Daumen hoch ;)

The food, Papa Rellena and Ají de Gallina were excellent. A great taste and not too spicy. Really delicious food, good service and pleasant atmosphere. If you are looking for/want to try good Peruvian food, you should eat here. The prices were a bit expensive but you'll get enough.

Very cool restaurant with friendly service. The food is super tasty, large portions that fill you up really well. I would have liked to try dessert but unfortunately there was no room left😅 The grapefruit soda was also very good :)

The opening times are not correct as stated on the website. The service was very good! But unfortunately the food wasn't that good. I come from Peru and know what it's supposed to taste like. The price wasn't right at all! I ordered a lomo saltado and it wasn't worth the price! For the price I really expected more. The atmosphere was good and as I mentioned, the service was great!

Overpriced. Probably was a better restaurant before they increased the prices so much, now they compete with the expensive ones and they are not worth it. The vegetarian Saltado for 18 euros only included more paprika and onions, a rip off. Service was distracted too.

Te food is amazing and authentic. Portions are huge - if you go for the ceviche (you should definitely do so!) make sure to share it with someone, or you will not be able to eat all of your main course. Prices are relatively high, but given the quality and quantity of food you get here, they are absolutely OK. Only downside: waiters could be a little more attentive: when we wanted to order more wine, both waiters were playing on their phones and did not look after what was happening in the restaurant for quite a while.

Service wasn’t the best. Food was alright. Portions were big but the taste of the food wasn’t the best. When we arrived we asked for an extra table since we were 9 and they tried to put us in a configuration for 8, when we asked for the extra table they told us they were gonna have a busy lunch time so they couldn’t give us any. I have to tell you the place never got full during the time we were there. They didn’t have any chicha morada only had 3 glasses left. They didn’t take our order properly and brought us extra food when we said we didn’t order they told us we had to take it and we would be charged for it.

Although the taste of the food that we tried was good, the chicken stripes (chicharron) that we ordered were not well cooked, which is very dangerous and we were very lucky to see it before eating them. The price of the specific plate was high, given that we managed to eat less than the half of it, as it was almost raw. The service was good and kind, however they didn't even ask if everything was ok when they saw that we haven't eaten one of our meals.

For some reason my review was removed. Probably constructive feedback which is a bit negative is not appreciated. I would like to not recommend this restaurant to anyone. We visited on the 16th of August 2023. The food is flavorless. The food is lacking inspiration and taste. The people that worked there have no attention for their guests. They bring your food and menu, but if you want an extra drink when it is a hot day (35 degrees) they were nowhere to be found. When we asked for a bottle of water they did not want to provide glasses with it. Because they had to be washed....... Also I had a caipirinha, but it was nowhere close to anything like it. It was all wrong and the taste was horrific. We had four Brazilians that confirmed my Dutch judgement. We were with 9 people, with different backgrounds, but we were unified that this was a place to never ever visit again. When i placed my review back then, I got a very rude feedback. I am not sharing this in the review. But have it at your disposal of needed. As a result also the others posted a review and got similar revolting answers from the restaurant. Later the restaurant modified its responses to something more friendly. (Unfortunately my review got deleted for some reason) Ps. I had more details but they are lost in time. Simply pick another place to go 🥺☺️

Nice atmosphere. Nice Palta Rellena. However I came especially for ceviche, which I know from my childhood in Peru. What I got was raw, unmarinated white fish filet pieces, with the ‚tiger milk‘ on the side. This is not ceviche. The fish has to be marinated to be eaten. It seems it was a mistake in the kitchen…

Das Essen ist sehr lecker und die Portionen reichlich. Wir waren das erste Mal hier und werden es beim nächsten Besuch in Heidelberg auf jeden Fall wieder besuchen!

Wir machten einen Tagesausflug nach Heidelberg und fanden dieses Restaurant bei Google. Das Essen hat uns eigentlich echt gut geschmeckt. Das Rindfleisch war zart, Pommes super, Vorspeise (gefüllte Teigtaschen mit Fleisch) auch sehr lecker, die panierte Hähnchenbrust saftig und zart. Eigentlich fünf Sterne. Leider waren die Toiletten unter aller Kanone. Und wir waren die allerersten Gäste an diesem Tag. Die Schüssel war komplett braun lackiert. Beim Gang auf die Toilette, war die Türe zur Küche offen. Dort sah es sehr dreckig aus, vor allem der Boden. Es sau aus, als läge dort Mäusekot. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, die Wartedauer auf das Essen (wir waren die einzigen im Restaurant) gerade noch ok.

Fantástico restaurante, que gusto hacer podido comer allí, comida auténtica , bien preparada , muy buenas porciones , el personal tremendamente amable , buenos precios en relación a la calidad y cantidad , solo podría decirles que el baño es un poco pequeño y mal equipado , pero estaba limpio . Espero volver por un delicioso pisco sour en algún otro momento :)

Uriges nettes Lokal in der Heidelberger Innenstadt, sehr leckeres Essen, sehr freundliches Pesonal, wir waren nur traurig, daß die Küche so früh zu war (21h) und wir keinen Nachtisch mehr bekommen konnten.

Sehr leckeres Essen, sehr nette Servicekräfte. Gewartet haben wir zwar ein bisschen länger, war aber nicht der Rede wert nachdem wir unser Essen bekommen haben. Nunca antes he comido comida Peruana, pero si es así, los Peruanos comen como reyes! (Y gastan como reyes, porque los precios son €€€ 😅)

Waren am Samstag mit 9 Personen da. Alles super zu frieden. Essen ist ne Wucht. Vorspeise Empanadas in allen Variationen danach Lomo Saltado, Papa Rellena, Pasta Garnelen.

Ich war im Juli 2023 an einem Samstag Nachmittag als Tourist Gast in Lokal. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt war das Lokal wenig besucht. Was ich von mir aus berichten kann: der Service ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Essenauswahl ist definitiv ausreichend (nicht jedes Restaurant braucht eine Speisekarte für jede Altersgruppen mit X Gerichten). Und das Wichtigste: das Essen war gut. Von mir gab's nichts großes zu bemängeln. Für meinen Geschmack könnte man etwas weniger Rohe Zwiebel zur Beilage servieren.

Ordered the Chicharron Veggie (Zucchini), got a plate of sweet potato fries with fried zucchini and a pot of chilli mayo. Way too much grease for my taste - and all of that for 18 bucks. Only got offered drinks after arrival and table service was practically absent after that point. Ambiance was ok, nothing out of the ordinary.

Totally not worth the visit. 20 euros for an appetizer. A small ceviche with chewy fish. It seemed not to be fresh at all. Same goes for the corn. Next to that we also had the appetizer with avocado and prawns, which was blend and boring to eat. Prawns were prepared pretty well. However totally overpriced as well for 20 euros for half a big avocado, some lettuce, garlic and avocado sauce. Ok the five prawns on it were pretty decent. Oh we ordered drinks. In my case a caipirinha. 8 euros. I was there with three Brazilians and myself I had my fair share of caipirinhas. I dare to say this was one of the worst I ever had. No one understood what was done with this drink. We wanted to order a bottle of water. However the restaurant did not have the glasses available, since they had to be rinsed! For the mains, the stuffed potato was way too salty. The beef and potatoes dish with a chilly peanut chocolate sauce was blend. The beef was however nice and medium rare, so compliments for that. Many chefs I know have not been able to do that. The aji de gallina was nice spicy, tasted ok. But is like a five euro dish that was again overpriced and not worth the value. Also getting the attention of personal was pretty hard once served or ordered. No, please spend your money in a different place.

Geschmacklich sehr gutes Essen, große Portionen, aber eher hochpreisig. Sehr freundliche Bedienung , generell ist das Servicepersonal aber in Anbetracht der Vielzahl der Gäste zu unterdimensioniert , das heißt, man muss Zeit mitbringen.

Einfach aber gemütlich eingerichteter Gastraum mit sehr bequemen Stühlen, einige Tische im Außenbereich. Der Service war ausnehmend freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ich habe mich wirklich willkommen gefühlt. Ich habe als erstmaliger Gast etwas konservativ bestellt. Die frittierten Fischstücke, Garnelen und Kartoffeln waren lecker knusprig. Der Dip hat hervorragend dazu gepasst, etwas mehr hätte es gern sein dürfen. Die Grapefruitlimo hat nach frisch gepresstem Saft geschmeckt und war zwischen Süße und Säure perfekt ausbalanciert. Leider war kein Platz mehr für eine Portion Churros. Wird nachgeholt.

Ein toller Abend mit sehr leckerem Essen, alles frisch zubereitet, sehr nettem Personal und gemütlicher Atmosphäre. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
