Lollo in Freiburg im Breisgau

Es war ein wunderbarer und sehr leckerer Besuch im Cafe Lollo an einem herrlich warmen Tag. Ich fand draußen einen gemütlichen Platz und würde den Besuch in dem Cafe jedem weiterempfehlen, da die Gegend etwas ruhiger ist und der Service super!

Das Essen ist fantastisch und der Service auch.

Sehr sehr lecker vorallem zu empfehlen der lollo burger. Essen sehr hochklassig und mit ein wenig Glück, läuft man im lollo such den ein oder anderen SC Spieler über den Weg, was bei den Kids immer für ein extra Highlight beim Besuch des Liollos sorgt. Sonst sind die highlits stehts dem Restaurant gewidmet und ebenenfalls den cooles lollo drinks(Himbeer Minze mein Favorit) sehr zu empfehlen

ich liebe das Lollo ! Man kann so schön draußen aber auch drinnen essen, das Essen ist immer super lecker aber gerade das wirklich immer immer so liebe und nette Personal macht den Besuch immer wieder so schön! ❤️

Tolles Essen tolle Bedienung. Lieblings Brunch!

Nach einem einzigen Besuch kann ich nicht viel rückmelden, außer einem sehr freundlichen Probetag-Service und einem leckeren Kaffee. Aufpreis für Haferdrink im Kaffee finde ich problematisch und ähnlich altbacken wie "draußen nur Kännchen", Wäre es nicht fair und zukunftsgewandter, alle Getränke – ob mit Kuhmilch oder Milchalternativen – gleich zu bepreisen? Schließlich tragen wir alle die Umweltfolgen der Kuhmilchproduktion - und Hafermilch hat die sehr viel bessere Ökobilanz.

Das Essen war nicht besonders lecker. Der Burger für 13,50 Euro war total fettig und tropfte auf den Teller. Die alkoholischen Getränke waren ungenießbar; in meinem Drink war viel zu viel Wein, was einen sehr süßen Nachgeschmack hinterließ. Der Preis war viel zu hoch, und man konnte mir bei meinem Getränk nicht helfen. Die Atmosphäre war schrecklich, und die Erwartungen in den Kommentaren waren viel zu hoch. Meine Bewertung: 3 von 10. Ich würde nur wiederkommen, wenn es weltweit Hunger gäbe und nirgendwo sonst etwas zu essen wäre.

Absolute Herzempfehlung Wir waren im Lolo und gehen mit einem dicken Lächeln nach Hause. Herzlicher Empfang, entspannte Atmosphäre und ein Team, das spürbar Lust auf seinen Job hat. Genau die Sorte Laden, in der man sich sofort wohlfühlt. Und das Essen erst. Der Burger war saftig, auf den Punkt und richtig ehrlich gemacht. Das Cordon Bleu ein Traum, knusprig, großzügig und genau so, wie man es sich wünscht. Das Highlight für uns: die Schinkennudeln wie von Mama. Genau dieses Wohlfühl-Gefühl von früher, mit Liebe gekocht und einfach perfekt. Selten so gut gegessen, das schmeckt man in jeder Gabel. Wir kommen ganz sicher wieder. Wer in der Nähe ist, sollte unbedingt vorbeischauen. Danke für einen rundum tollen Abend

Ich schreibe sonst nie Rezensionen. Aber was ich hier erlebt habe war einfach zu krass un nix dazu zu sagen. Jede einzelne Person, welche uns bedient hat war nicht nur freundlich und zuvorkommend, sondern geradezu herzlich! Wenn ihr hier jemals das Gefühlt habt, es dauere ein bisschen lange, bis das Essen kommt: Freut euch. Es wird hervorragend sein. Der einzige Negativpunkt ist, dass das Lokal sonntags geschlossen ist und wir deshalb nicht noch einmal vorbeikommen können.

Immer wieder kehre ich ins Lollo zurück. Das Essen und der Service sind jedes Mal super und ich wurde nie enttäuscht. Freue mich schon auf das nächste Mal.

Sind zwar noch nie dagewesen, aber da es den Namen unseres Verteidigers trägt, gehen wir davon aus, dass sich stets bemüht wird eine gute Leistung abzuliefern, es jedoch meist nicht gelingt. Sollte man überhaupt die ganze Partie dort überstehen, muss davon ausgegangen werden, dass einem das Schnitzel hüfthoch vom Teller gekrätscht wird, sollte bei der Spielauffassung überhaupt das richtige Gericht serviert werden. Naja, Samstag sind wir ja in Freiburg und machen uns ein eigenes Bild.

Der beste Frühstücksplatz in Freiburg; der Inhaber/Küchenchef hat ein gutes Auge für Zutaten und sorgt jeden Tag für Qualität.

Trotz vollem Haus ging der Service angemessen schnell. Preis Leistung bzw. Menge dürfte besser sein.

Ich hatte ein wundervolles Erlebnis beim Lollo‘s der Eigentümer selbst war stets so aufmerksam und freundlich. Ich habe es dort sehr genossen , das Essen war fantastisch, es hat so frisch geschmeckt und so gut. Von den Hausgemachten Limonaden , die super sommerlich waren bis zu dem Brot, welches sie in Zusammenarbeit mit lokalen Bäckereien anbieten war alles traumhaft. Ich werde definitiv öfter hingehen und weiß, dass ich eine schöne Zeit dort haben werde. Als zusätzliche Information, wir sind ohne Reservierung vor Ort gewesen und sie hatten es für uns möglich gemacht einen Platz zu erhalten. Ein großes Dankeschön! 🙏🏽

Super zum Frühstück und vergiss nicht zu reservieren

Das Essen war durchschnittlich. Was mich aber wirklich gestört hat, war die unangenehme Musik, die in dem ohnehin schon lauten Raum sehr störend wirkte. Man kann dort einfach nicht in Ruhe essen. Das Personal ist allerdings sehr nett.

Leckeres Essen, allerdings sehr begrenzte Auswahl an Speisen.

Super Frische Produkte. Sehr zu empfehlen. Frisch zubereitete Salatteller einfach ein Gedicht

Wirklich tolle Brunchauswahl. Die Abendkarte finde ich weniger interessant, aber der Brunch ist super! Leckere Getränke, gute Auswahl, gute Qualität.

Perfekt zubereitete, großzügige und unglaublich geschmackvolle Burger, die einen Klassiker in ein wahres Gourmet-Erlebnis verwandeln – schlicht im Aussehen, aber mit viel Liebe zum Detail zubereitet. Schon beim ersten Bissen schmeckt man die Sorgfalt, die in die Zutaten gesteckt wurde: weiche, gut strukturierte Brötchen, hochwertiges, perfekt gegartes Fleisch und perfekt abgestimmte Toppings. My girlfriend and I went there for breakfast on Saturday and had booked a slot from 10:00 to 11:45. Before we even sat down, we were reminded three times that we had to leave the table by 11:45. The two of us had breakfast for a total of €60 and were then asked to pay at 11:33, since we had to leave the table at 11:45. I completely understand wanting to avoid guests lingering for three hours just sipping coffee, but this approach made the whole experience very unpleasant, and we left with a bad taste in our mouths. The food and drinks were delicious and arrived very quickly, even though the restaurant was packed. Kudos to them for that. The staff was very friendly and probably just following the guidelines they were given.

I ordered the veal schnitzel at the restaurant (€21.50). The taste was okay (though dry), but for that price I expected a side dish, which unfortunately had to be paid for separately. I also ordered a small salad for €6, but the dressing was completely tasteless, which significantly detracted from the overall impression. To drink, I ordered still water, but I only received a glass of lukewarm tap water, which is really unacceptable in winter. Overall, the food was okay, but the price-performance ratio, service, and details like the water leave much to be desired. For the prices charged, I would have expected more care and quality.

Tastes good, but very expensive…

A place for a young crowd, but Swiss prices. Large fries (the size of a swimming pool) and a large shandy, €11.40. Tables only by arrangement. Actually okay, but you're approached by several beggars right while eating... Unfortunately, the otherwise friendly staff doesn't say anything, as these types seem to be known. You end up in an argument if you don't give anything, and the smoker with small children at the next table complains that you should give something to the poor, especially with a full mouth like me. (Exemplary^^) I think there's basic social security in Germany?! You could collect bottles or volunteer at a harvest festival, or help out at a fair. It's also good that there are parking spaces for guests :-)

We were here for breakfast. I recommend making a reservation, as the place tends to fill up quickly. The quality of the food is really good, and the products are high-quality, but for me personally, the value for money isn't that great. The portions are on the smaller side, and for me, as a big eater, it was simply too little. Attentive service and a great atmosphere.

Great place to have a late breakfast or brunch on a sunny day. Definitely recommend the pancakes 🙂

I was there in the evening with an online reservation. It was a bit cramped but nice, the food was delicious. I had a smashed beef burger, and the sweet potato fries were incredibly tasty. The service was very friendly and attentive; they even extended our booked time slot. That was actually the only downside: you can now only book a specific time slot for dinner and then have to leave. Understandable from the owner's perspective, but rather uncomfortable from the guest's perspective.

Nice café, funny name. Delicious bagels and pancakes. It's a bit cozy outside, but still okay. A bit more expensive, but the quality feels good. The cappuccino was OK. Would come back... bye.

Disappointing – Good Food, But Disproportionate Value for Money We recently went to Lollo in Freiburg with our family – five people, including three children – and ended up paying just under €200. Unfortunately, despite the good food, the overall experience was disappointing. While the quality of the food is certainly convincing, there's little to complain about in terms of taste, the price-performance ratio is simply unacceptable. The portions are so small that one inevitably wonders whether minimalism is being deliberately played with here – not as a culinary concept, but as a business model. What was ordered as a "large" schnitzel later turns out to be two small pieces on a small plate. Side dishes are served in very small bowls or on small plates, Aperol Spritz in a small water glass (??) – everything seemed as if the aim was to demonstrate to the guests how little they were getting for their money. Our impression: The focus here is not on the guest, but rather on a very idiosyncratic calculation. We particularly appreciate that Lollo focuses on high-quality ingredients and organic meat – that deserves recognition. However, we expect that a portion labeled "large" will actually be filling. Sustainability shouldn't be an excuse for small culinary offerings. Our children were still hungry after the main course – that shouldn't really be the case after spending €200 on five large dishes and drinks. For an enjoyable evening with the family, this was unsatisfactory. Good food alone isn't enough. When the portions aren't filling and the prices are through the roof, a bad taste remains. Those who value good value for money will likely be disappointed at Lollo.

Solid food, but very expensive. A slice of bread with hummus, a bit of tomato, and an artichoke costs over €11... The service could be more attentive or simply use more staff. Also, the surcharge for milk alternatives is, in my opinion, outdated.

An exceptional restaurant with a guaranteed feel-good factor! Superbly coordinated dishes and on-point service. We're thrilled and will be back!

Went there for three days in a row. Perfect flat white, cure my craving finally. Tried first day Salmon Bagel, second day Pancake and third day goat cheese bagel. Only the last day is less than good, the rest is perfect.

The breakfast was very tasty, the coffee and also the matcha latte & chai tea were really good and the service was super accommodating and nice! We plan to eat at Lollo again on our next stay in Freiburg!

Repeat order for pickup; Extremely tasty burger. Sauce, beef, patty etc. - 1A. The employees are always super nice and with this pickup everything was perfect and coordinated down to the second. Fries are still crispy when eaten later. Can only be recommended.

We discovered this bar by chance and had a great dinner. A complete burger with very delicious potatoes, a pizza and a delicious smoked salmon salad. With a large beer and water, 57 euros. The waitresses took great care of us.

We already had breakfast here once and after the swimming pool we went to dinner. We had three different hamburgers and each one was delicious. The prices were a bit steep, but it was worth it. You always have to come early because there were always so many people there. There was also a queue for breakfast and dinner.

Staff very friendly, food very good, but you should make reservations for both lunch and dinner. Unfortunately there are a lot of tables and chairs squeezed in, and when you sit in certain places people brush past you. The ice cream also tastes good Edit: I had to take back one star after 4 years, the prices have now risen immeasurably, as has happened elsewhere.

Hello, I had breakfast with you today. The ambience is nice with the wood and lamps, if all the seats are occupied, it can get loud. You have to reserve far in advance and then you only have a certain slot for breakfast. I was disappointed with Breakler's value for money. It's just a small burger, I had imagined more. You don't have a great coffee on the menu very bad. Rotebette bread slices were very tasty Service was friendly. & Attentive

Very cozy atmosphere and great service (also in English 🙂). We went for the burgers and vegetarian goat cheese pizza coupled with local white wine and beer - even the picky eaters have finished everything and were happy!

Delicious breakfast selection of bagels, sandwiches, pancakes and co. The hot drinks are also very good, especially the coffee. I would definitely recommend booking!

Very nice little restaurant. I think it is necessary to book in advance on their site to ensure you have a table. We ate the cheeseburger and the goat cheese burger and we enjoyed ourselves 😊 The spritz was very, very good too!

Lollo is an institution in Freiburg. Casual environment for all tastes. Great selection of wines and great quality of food. Definitely try it and then come back often 😉
