Ausgezeichnetes Essen, ein wunderschönes Ambiente und sehr freundliches Personal.

Sehr schlechter Service. Die Kellner kümmern sich überhaupt nicht um die Gäste. Wenn man sie ruft, drehen sie einfach den Kopf weg und ignorieren einen. Man muss sehr lange warten und fühlt sich überhaupt nicht willkommen. So einen schlechten Service habe ich selten erlebt. Ich kann dieses Restaurant leider nicht empfehlen.

Wir waren eine Gruppe von 4 Personen und hatten Pide und Burger, es war alles sehr lecker. Der Kellner war sehr freundlich und hat uns die Markise ausgefahren. Hierhin kommen wir gerne wieder.

Caesar Salat für 17€. Mit labrigem Eisberg, 5 blättern Rucola, 3 Tomaten, tiefgefrorenem fertig Hähnchen und drei Tropfen Dressing, sehr schade. Nicht nochmal.

Einfach ein schönes Ambiente. Der Biergarten ist gerade in dieser Jahreszeit besonders toll.

Wir waren gestern Abend im „Living im Magellan“ und es hat uns Allen gut gefallen. Besonders herausragend war der sehr freundliche, aufmerksame Service! Auch unser Essen war lecker. Besonders gut geschmeckt, haben uns die Vorspeisen. Auch die Cocktails waren super. Auch noch positiv erwähnenswert ist die liebevolle Einrichtung und Dekoration.

Essen und Service sind hier richtig gut, dafür gibt’s von mir auch klare Punkte. Was mich allerdings massiv geärgert hat: Ich hatte Wochen vorher für den 2.6. um 18:00 reserviert, und zwar für 5 Personen. Am Telefon wurde mir Datum und Uhrzeit nochmal bestätigt, sonst kein Wort. Kein Hinweis, dass irgendwas mit den Öffnungszeiten unklar ist. Dann stand ich pünktlich mit meinen Freunden vor der Tür, und der Laden war zu. Draußen ein Zettel „geschlossen”, bei Google ebenfalls. Als ich angerufen habe, kam nur eine automatische Ansage mit angeblich neuen Öffnungszeiten (dienstags offen). Eine Reservierung für 5 Leute anzunehmen, das Datum am Telefon zu bestätigen und dann einfach nicht Bescheid zu geben, dass geschlossen ist, das ist einfach asozial. Da stehen dann fünf Leute umsonst vor verschlossener Tür. Echt schade, weil das Essen die Wiederkehr sonst absolut wert wäre. Aber so bleibt ein richtig fader Beigeschmack.

Sehr schön mit gutem Essen und schöner Außen Terrasse

Heute waren wir im Living im Magellan essen und sind begeistert. Die Atmosphäre draußen ist wunderschön wie ein kleiner Garten mit blühenden Bäumen und dem beruhigenden Wasserlauf. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Das Essen war super, der Service aufmerksam und freundlich und dank des schönen Wetters konnten wir den Abend draußen perfekt genießen. Ein großes Dankeschön auch an den Besitzer für das liebe Geschenk und die herzliche Art. Man merkt, wie viel Leidenschaft und Arbeit hier drinsteckt. Vielen Dank für den tollen Tag wir kommen gerne wieder! ❤️

Sehr angenehme Atmosphäre. Gemütlich. Freundliches Personal. Das Essen war erstklassig. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Nachtisch ist nicht empfehlenswert, unsere creme brulee war kohle (die bedienung hat nicht reagiert, also vermut ich ist das öfters, und alles hat ewig gebraucht (die bedienung hat außerdem ständig gewechselt), die Getränke sind sehr ok, aber burger und salate sind hier wirklich extraordinär.

Es war ein toller Sonntagvormittag. Das Buffet ließ keine Wünsche offen. Das Personal sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Und das Ambiente ist wirklich zum wohlfühlen und genießen. Der Preis fürs Frühstücks -Brunch war noch sehr moderat.

Wir besuchen dieses Lokal regelmäßig zum Brunch und es besticht durch sein tolles Ambiente und die vielfältige Speisekarte. Ein solches Lokal in Aachen ist eine wunderbare Möglichkeit, Gäste zu empfangen. Vielen Dank!

Wir waren 6 Gäste und nach der ersten Essensbestellung kam keiner mehr und fragte ob wir noch etwas trinken wollen...Gewürzstreuer fehlen auf den Tischen

Hier kann man ruhig mal eingehen wenn man was kleines Essen möchte dabei aber im grünen sitze möchte . Innen sehr schön eingerichtet .. freundliches Personal

War früher öfters dort weil das Buffet echt gut war. Jetzt ist es nur noch schlecht, trockene Brötchen und Croissants, antipasti nur noch wenig Auswahl und geschmacklich schlecht. Rührei ein undefinierbares glibberiges etwas. Keine Auswahl mehr an warmen Speisen. Alles in allem merkt man das es nur Geld macherei ist. 15 Euro hört sich erstmal gut an, aber nicht bei der unterirdischen Qualität der Speisen. Service völlig verpeilt, erst sollten wir an einem Tisch sitzen der komplett nach pisse gestunken hat ( 5 Personen haben es gerochen, die Bedienung natürlich nicht). 2 X nach der Rechnung gefragt, ohne Ergebnis, nein es war nicht voll. Dann wollte ich gehen, da man anscheinend nicht möchte das bezahlt wird, dann kommt natürlich sofort jemand 😊

Schöne Location in der Mitte Aachens. Sehr freundliches Personal und eine nicht zu überladene Speisekarte. Alles bestens 👍

Service unaufmerksam, würden ewig nicht gefragt, ob wir noch was trinken wollen. Bedienung erfolgte fast nur wenn man den Kellner am den Tisch bat. Also mit uns hätte man einiges an Geld mehr verdienen können. Es war ok. Hatte ein Schnitzel mit Championsauce. Sie Sauce war enttäuschend und das Schnitzel sehr trocken. Würde ich nicht mehr nehmen. Der Salat war lecker und die restlichen Gerichte n unserem Tisch sahen ebenfalls gut aus. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön und die Stühle sehr bequem.

Dieser Ort wurde von der Vielfalt der Gerichte und auch vom Innenraum überrascht. Sehr gemütlich und normalerweise nicht. Hier finden Sie sich an einem untypischen Ort für Aachen wieder. Sehr leckeres Essen, sehr ausgewogener Geschmack. Der Service war auch sehr gut. Trotz der Tatsache, dass es viele Besucher gab, wurde das Essen schnell genug gebracht. Ich kann mit Zuversicht schreiben, dass ich wieder hierher zurückkehren werde.

Wir sind mit dem Betrieb ins Magellan eingekehrt. Service war bemüht. Nichts wirkich auszusetzen. Ambiente auch in Ordnung - hätte etwas aufgeräumter sein können. Kommen wir zum Essen. Der Großteil unserer Gruppe hat Steaks und Fleischteller bestellt. Schuhsohle wäre untertrieben. Cocktails waren jedoch gut. So konnte sich das enttäuschende Verzehrerlebnis gut runterspülen. Wir werden das nächste Mal woanders einkehren. Schade, denn Potenzial ist vorhanden.

Immer ein Besuch wert. Man kann gut essen und das Personal ist freundlich.

Seit dem 01. Januar 2026 gilt in der Gastronomie ein dauerhaft ermäßigter Mehrwertsteuersatz von 7 % auf Speisen. Dieser wird leider nicht an die Kunden weitergegeben, obwohl die Preise dadurch eigentlich um 12 % sinken müssten.

Das beste Frühstücksbuffet aller Zeiten! Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist fantastisch, besser als in einem 5-Sterne-Hotel. Super lecker! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Schade nur, dass das Tiramisu so schnell ausverkauft war.

Immer wieder schön hier. Netter Service, schönes Ambiente, wunderschöner Außenbereich. Und natürlich sehr leckeres Essen :)

Wir haben uns dafür entschieden unsere Weihnachtsfeier in diesem Restaurant zu feiern. Insgesamt waren wir 13 Personen und saßen im Wintergarten. Hier war es ausreichend warm, schon fast zu warm, dank der Heizstrahler. Die Kellner sind wie die Speisekarte orientalischer Natur. Die Verständigung klappt gut, nur manchmal ist eine Wiederholung des gesprochenen nicht verkehrt, damit man nicht am Ende das Falsche bekommt. Die Speisekarte ist bunt gemischt in der Auswahl mit Einschlag in die türkische Küche. Vom Essen waren alle durchweg positiv überrascht. Die Küche versteht ihr Handwerk. Ich hatte den Seehecht, der war zart, an einem Stück und butterweich, hervorragend gewürzt und der Teller in der Menge mit den Beilagen gut abgestimmt. Ich hab ihn genossen. Die Tischnachbarn waren auch alle begeistert von ihrem Essen. Getränke und Essen kamen in Ettapen, dazwischen gab es ein wenig Wartezeit. Das sollte man evtl. noch besser koordinieren, dass ein Tisch bei einer größeren Bestellung zügig parallel ihre Bestellung bekommt. Bei einem kleinen Tisch ist das aber wahrscheinlich kein Thema. Teilweise saßen die Tischnachbarn schon etwas auf dem trockenen, es kam zwar der Kellner vorbei aber traute sich nicht zu fragen ob es für die mit leeren Glas noch etwas sein darf. Auch ein Nachtisch hätte man noch gut platzieren können. Daher ein Punkt Abzug, da hier noch ausbaufähig. Ebenso ausbaufähig ist die Bestuhlung im Wintergarten. Es passt zwar einigermaßen zum Flair, aber der Komfort lässt ein wenig zu wünschen übrig. Ich saß auf einer dünnbepolsterten Kirchensitzbank, so sah sie zumindest aus und fühlte sich auch so an. Innen im Restaurant wird mit dem Living Programm geworben, davon kann ich leider nicht berichten. An sich ist der Wintergarten aber sehr angenehm zu verweilen, über die Bestuhlung sollte man aber nochmal nachdenken.

Beim betreten ersteinmal besser als der Eindruck von außen aber bei genaueren hinsehen alt und abgerockt zb. kaputte sitzbank. Essen mehr kalt als lauwarm . Auf die Vorspeise 1std. Gewartet Hauptgang kam dann sehr zügig aber halt fast kalt das Fleisch ist 2 mal gestorben und trocken die Portionsgrösse sowie Qualität gibt in jeder Pommes Bude besser . Vielleicht lag es ja auch daran das zu viel Andrang war an diesem Abend und die küchenkru war überfordert. So jetzt mal was gutes zu berichten die Vorspeise war sehr lecker türkisches Finger food (kalte Vorspeise) und reichlich. Das Personal war sehr freundlich glaube es war sogar der Besitzer mit aushilfskraft . Vielleicht irgendwann noch mal als 2 Chance. Wenn keine Weihnachtszeit ist. Trotzdem alles gute weiterhin

Schließt Sonntagmorgen um 1:00 Uhr. Dies gilt leider nicht für die Küche. Kamen um 22:00 Uhr und es hieß, dass die Küche schon zu ist. Nur für das Personal kamen andauernd Kellner mit Pizza vorbei. Die Frage, ob es zumindest einen kleinen Snack geben wurde rigoros verneint.

Das Rumpsteak war gut und auf den Punkt gebraten, da gibt's nichts zu meckern! DIe Beilagen Gemüse und Kartoffeln waren okay, leider nicht mehr richtig warm. Das Ambiente hat mir wirklich gut gefallen, sehr zu empfehlen! Meine einzige Kritik ist der Service, der war einfach viel zu langsam.

Sehr gutes Essen und schönes weihnachtliches Ambiente

Ich vergebe nur einen Stern für die Mühe, die man sich mit der Einrichtung und dem gesamten Esserlebnis gegeben hat, der Rest ist null. Wir waren zu viert und bestellten zwei Pizzen, ein Hühnchen-Pasta-Gericht und ein Schweinefilet – also nichts Kompliziertes. Wir warteten über eine Stunde, obwohl sonst niemand da war; es war eine Ewigkeit! Eine Gruppe und andere Gäste, die nach uns gekommen waren, wurden vor uns bedient … wahrscheinlich, weil wir Touristen sind. Der Service war absolut lieblos, die Pasta war verkocht, die Pizzen viel zu salzig und der Salat war einfach nur obendrauf gestapelt. Ich kann dieses Restaurant absolut nicht empfehlen.

Eines meiner Lieblingsrestaurants in Aachen! Als Ausländer werden wir immer herzlich willkommen geheißen und man bemüht sich stets, bei Bedarf Englisch zu sprechen. Die Bedienung ist freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilft einem gerne beim Verständnis der Speisekarte. Ich kann dieses Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen, egal ob drinnen oder draußen: Es ist immer ein magischer Moment! 🤩😍✨

I honestly don't even know where to begin. The impressions I've gathered here unfortunately completely match what you can read about this restaurant online. For a starter, we got a ridiculously small piece of bread for a whopping €10—or more precisely, two small slices with our starter, if you can call it that. Upon request, we were at least given a third slice. But that was it. For that price, it's truly disproportionate. The ambiance is generally fine, but the hygiene leaves a lot to be desired. By that, I mean, above all, that the tables aren't properly wiped and the restrooms are in a completely unclean state. The hygienic and structural condition there is simply catastrophic. What was particularly shocking was that the waiter touched our food with his bare hands right in front of us—without gloves or any hygiene measures. That is truly unacceptable. Although the waiters were friendly, they were overall very incompetent. It's clear that there's no gastronomic training here. The food itself was also a bitter disappointment. It's truly questionable whether a trained chef even works here. What ends up on the plates bears no resemblance to what's described on the menu. The dishes, as advertised, sound high-quality, but what you get served is more reminiscent of an average snack bar. For example: The mushroom cream sauce was clearly a ready-made sauce from a packet – and in it, believe it or not, there was a single mushroom. In a mushroom cream sauce! That really speaks for itself. Overall, unfortunately, one has to say: The whole thing was abysmal – both in terms of hygiene, the quality of the food, and the overall impression. A real shame, because with a little more professionalism and care, this restaurant would have real potential.

Such a "creation" should definitely not be called "Ali Nazik"! I seriously wonder if there's even a chef working at this restaurant. The alleged lamb apparently came from an animal that hadn't been lamb for many years – tough, tasteless, and the worst preparation I've ever tasted. In the end, they even charged a completely exorbitant price for this outrage. Unfortunately, guests are treated like "victims" here. One thing is for sure: Never again!

There were some rats enjoying the terrace with us! They have a very pleasant outdoor terrace, even with a small stream running through it. We went in the evening for a drink. The service and atmosphere were great, but during our stay, we saw rats accessing the premises from the street several times. It seems that several of them live under the wooden platform next to the stream, where our table was located. I was surprised that the other local customers, who also saw them, seemed to take the matter lightly. The next evening, I walked by and saw them again. They seem to be regular "customers." I hope they don't enter the premises or the kitchens, but they are free to roam around the terrace. I don't know if the health authorities are aware of them, but I think it may be a bigger problem than it seems.

After a long and tiring day, my husband and I simply wanted a few cocktails. We went to this restaurant and found a seat on the summer terrace. A friendly waitress politely explained to us that we couldn't sit at a certain table if we only wanted drinks. However, she immediately offered us alternatives: either in the alleyway or at a table on the terrace. We chose the terrace table. Shortly afterward, however, a male employee arrived who was very rude and aggressive. After we explained to him that we only wanted drinks, he spoke sharply and said we were only allowed to sit in the alleyway. When we tried to explain to him that his colleague had specifically seated us at that table, he aggressively interrupted us, didn't listen, and insisted that we weren't allowed to sit there. He then simply turned around and left without listening to us or offering a solution. This behavior was not only rude but aggressive and ruined our entire evening. When you go to a restaurant, you expect a pleasant atmosphere, relaxation, and a good mood. Unfortunately, the exact opposite was the case here.

The atmosphere was lovely, but there were a lot of creepy crawlies. I was very bothered by the flies and insects. However, the garden setting was very pleasant. The menu was delicious. The waiters were friendly and cheerful. We thank them.

Wow, it's really cozy and delicious here. You can chill and eat in peace inside or outside. We come here often because the value for money is good, and so is the atmosphere. It's like a little oasis in the hectic student district.

We definitely stop by every time we come to Aachen. It's perfect in every way.

Unfortunately waiters and tenants work are not good… and no nice people thanks only for the kitchen

I was just having coffee with my cousin. First of all, I have to admit that we don't look like the usual clientele (southern Europeans). When we were greeted, we were asked with open eyes what we wanted, which made us feel uncomfortable at first. We said we only wanted a coffee. While we were ordering, the waiter simply walked away. After our coffee was served, I asked for sweetener, and he told us he couldn't provide it. That was the first and last time. Feel free to put up a sign if non-Germans are not welcome.

Food is not good, you can't eat it 🤢

The service was friendly and attentive, and the ambiance was truly appealing—stylish and cozy. Unfortunately, I can't recommend the restaurant overall, as the portions were simply too small. I would have expected much more for the price. I was still hungry after the meal and had to go somewhere else for more food—that shouldn't happen in a restaurant in this price range. A disgrace, to be honest. Very disappointing.

Rustic and cozy, very good shop

Very beautiful garden, the staff is very friendly and super attentive. It was very busy, but the food arrived in a few minutes. The portions were generous, and the price-performance ratio was reasonable. We would be happy to come back.

I went there for the first time with two friends. We sat outside in beautiful weather, and it was simply wonderful. The service was also excellent. We chatted for a while at first, and the staff were very patient with our orders. The food was also excellent. It simply tasted delicious. All in all, a successful, cozy evening. We sat there for a long time and everyone was happy to leave a tip.

A very unpleasant experience. We were lured by the supposed happy hour until midnight and ordered a cocktail at 11:45 PM. At no point were we informed that they would be closing in 15 minutes. Five minutes after we were served our drinks, we were already told to leave. While I was picking up my baby's things, the owner waved us away in a very disrespectful manner. During the meal, the behavior was the same as before: We were constantly asked if we were ready, as if we were waiting for our turn. We were unable to enjoy the food or the atmosphere in peace. The treatment by the waiters and owners was rude and completely inappropriate. We will not be returning and cannot recommend this restaurant.

I ordered ravioli with my partner tonight. As an Italian, I was very surprised... Authentic, delicious, and homemade! Super friendly service and delicious food! The atmosphere was lovely and romantic. Great value for money! Highly recommended ❤️

Unfortunately, I can't review the food. The server seemed so bored and disorganized that we left after waiting 20 minutes. We weren't greeted, nor were we given a menu. The outdoor area was only moderately busy and seemed rather unkempt in places. It's a shame. It used to be a nice spot when the weather was nice.

We wanted to eat there spontaneously because the garden appealed to us. Unfortunately, we had to leave after 20 minutes because the waitress simply didn't come. This was completely incomprehensible to me, as the garden was maybe half full. The waitress seemed completely incompetent and didn't know the basics of restaurant business: - We weren't greeted even though they saw us. - He kept taking our order and then going back inside to get it. Totally inefficient. - We didn't get a menu. Then we could have at least looked at it. - A quick note saying he was just after something and would be right over would have been enough. I don't usually write reviews, but today's review really upset me. I'm not in a hurry when I go out to eat, but when I'm ignored for 20 minutes, I just don't feel welcome!

It was wonderful! Eight of us went out to eat, with eight different dishes and various special requests, and everything was fulfilled in a friendly and courteous manner. The food was delicious, and the outdoor ambiance was lovely. We'd love to come back!

Food 10 out of 10!!!! You can tell the chef cares more about taste than appearance. Service 10 out of 10!!!! = Courteous and competent, and ready to find a solution for any mistake. The ambiance: The perfect intersection of rustic and modern Renaissance, a nostalgic interior complemented by a young-looking staff. All in all, it was a stay that was more than worthwhile. We discovered this restaurant by chance while enjoying an aperitif and were absolutely thrilled. The atmosphere was fantastic and the staff were very friendly. It will definitely be our first choice on our next visit to Aachen.

A nice restaurant near the university with very good food. However, the service could be a bit faster; the wait for food and drinks was a bit long.

Unfortunately, there were only three asparagus spears. I think that's way too few. The hollandaise sauce had a filmy texture (similar to the skin on cooked pudding as it cools). The meat was cooked to perfection. Overall, it was okay. But I can do better. The service was very friendly, and the seating was quite pleasant.

Food was mediocre at best. Service disaster. Waited over 40 minutes for the drinks, which were then incomplete. When the food came, one item was wrong. When the right one came, everyone else was already done. There were no tables occupied inside, at most 75% outside. A telling moment: when the "boss" offers the final ouzo on the house, he brings three for four people. Great.

The garden is the only good thing here. We had to wait a very long time for drinks and food. Our three starters initially only came with a "bread basket" with two tiny pieces of baguette. We had to beg for more bread several times. The waiters seemed listless. 2 of 8 main courses were forgotten and arrived a whopping 35 minutes later. When we complained, all we received was incomprehension. The answer was that we had no experience in gastronomy. A really poor response to our complaint. Not recommended. We won't come back.

Food tasted good, but carpaccio was a bit boring. The hamburger, on the other hand, was very tasty and the wife also liked the schnitzel. Very friendly staff.

Extremely disorganized and poor service. We were there with several people and two people forgot their main course and arrived after 35 minutes. Some people who came after us got their main course before us. For the 3 starters such as hummus, only 1x bread was brought even though it should be included with every starter (according to the menu). I have never experienced anything like this in the last 10 years.

Waited 40 minutes for the drinks, another 15 minutes for the ones that were missing. One meal was wrong, and by the time the right thing came, the table was already ready. Food ok, but nothing more.

Such a bad service for such a beautiful atmosphere. I was the one suggesting the place to my friends and got extremely disappointed. Don’t suggest this place until they change their behaviour. The food was good. But arrived late and some orders were missing.

We have been here many times, unfortunately the quality of the food has deteriorated a lot. Starter variation for 4 people (a good €44) was not tasty (cigar barek with sweet and sour Asian ready-made sauce) and overall very "manageable". There were exactly 4 counted pieces of baguette. After repeated requests, bread was brought again, this time 3 pieces for 4 people, who later found themselves with €3.50 worth of bread on the bill.

Back again after 10 years! Friendly service, good cocktails and a cozy atmosphere. Nothing changed!

Super nice staff!! We were able to spontaneously have brunch there with 11 people + children. The place we were assigned was in a quiet, light-filled corner. Even though we had to leave early, the staff was still friendly and accommodating. A huge recommendation, especially with children!!!

The shop is nicely decorated. The terrace is also very inviting. Service is very friendly. However, unfortunately the food is really just mediocre.

As a Turk, Aachen is a great place to eat. The owners are also Turkish, they have a great conversation, they are very good people..

We had a burger, the food was tasty. Atmosphere was pleasant. Nice terrace, quiet spot in the city.

Ordered a starter in the late afternoon and main courses at the same time. The starters were brought to the table quickly. Were also delicious. However, why counted bread is only served is always a mystery to me, even in other restaurants. It's a shame for half the hummus. The main courses were forgotten due to shift changes... at least a small portion of fries was offered on the house after a while and served in advance. The waitress was friendly and asked for forgiveness. The main courses came to the table at the same time. Pide and salad perfect. The rump steak was served lying down in a pepper sauce. I haven't seen that anywhere before. This is an absolute no-go. The fourth main course should be a Viennese-style schnitzel. It's not on the menu, but we agreed: "just leave out the sauce". It was still served lying in a mushroom sauce. This was then complained about. The waitress took the plate away with a lot of understanding and kindness and came back a few moments later. New plate, same schnitzel. Lifted briefly: the remains of the sauce are clearly visible. So it was just “wiped off”. That's not quality. That doesn't work at all. There will be no further visit.

After a long time, we had dinner with friends again in Aachen's Pontviertel. Very pleased with the cozy atmosphere and the extremely friendly service. The kitchen also impresses with good quality and tasty food, attractively prepared and served at the same time. We particularly recommend the Izgara Köfte, beef skewers and the lamb fillet (Ali Nazik) on wrap bread! Reasonable price/performance offer.
