Iskender Kebap in Aachen

Ich war heute das erste Mal bei Iskender. Alle bestellten Gerichte waren lecker und das Preis-/ Leistungsverhältnis war gut. Der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich. Werde Iskender wieder besuchen. Ich persönlich kann es nur empfehlen.

Schlechtestes Essen was ich je in meinem Leben gegessen habe. Der Döner war sehr schlecht. Habe ein Haar entdeckt, dem Mitarbeiter es gesagt. Er hat sich lustig gemacht und wollte nur das Geld, obwohl ich es ihm zeigen wollte.

Der pommdöner war räudig und der Spieß ist bestimmt paar Tage alt,Tische waren nicht sauber,der pommdöner ist bis zu 80% Pommes

Ich war hier zum zweiten mal zu einem Tagesmenü, dieses war Schnitzeltag - 9,90€ egal welches. Bestellt wurde Schmitzel mit Pfefferrahm. Als das Essen kam war ich was überrascht, Schnitzelrasoßecwar sehr hell und mit grob gemahlenen Pfefferkörner überstreut. Letztendlich geschmacklich ok. Der dazugehörige Salat war auch zufriedenstellend, nicht so trocken wie häufig bei anderen, aber das Essig-Öl-Dressing rel. dickflüssig, wie man es von Fertigdesings kennt. Letztendlich möchte ich die Pommes loben! Abgerechnet wurden 9,95€! Das Ayran fand ich mit 2,-€ je Becher etwas teuer!

Falafel Dürum Mediterane ist das Lieblingsessen einer Bekannten. Wir essen jedoch nicht so häufig Döner zusammen wie ich mir wünsche. Der Döner ist auch richtig gut! Ist immer mit frischem Gemüse :) Immer alle 3 Soßen nehmen - richtig gut.

We can wholeheartedly recommend Iskender Kebab. There were two of us, and we felt very comfortable. Our food was made with completely fresh and delicious ingredients and tasted fantastic. The bread was crispy and fresh. The owner is also very friendly. The value for money is unbeatable. The portions were generous. Go and enjoy! 😁 Always worth a visit.

My go-to kebab shop for a hungover Sunday; the people are super nice, they pay attention to hygiene, and at €6.00 ​​the kebab is totally reasonable.

Unfortunately, it was terrible, and far too expensive. I ordered a dürüm with falafel and halloumi. The falafel was heated in the microwave, and the halloumi was warmed in a greasy pan on the stove (who knows what was in it before). Everything was then packed into a cold, pre-made wrap. Charging €9.95 for this, when there are several places in Aachen where you can get homemade bread and falafel for less, is outrageous. And I won't even mention that the man preparing the food had previously been sitting at a table in the shop with his laptop and then handled food behind the counter without washing his hands. Edit: At that price, you'd expect the falafel to be freshly made and not microwaved.

We pre-ordered and picked up kebabs here for the first time. The preparation was quick, and the staff was friendly. The kebabs were fresh and delicious. Unfortunately, they don't serve chicken. (October 2025)

Exceptionally delicious pizza. The purchase of a plotter brought me there. My daughter says it's very tasty. I'd happily drive a few meters for that.

Very worst service and eating mouse seen!!!

When I walked in, a member of staff was sitting at one of the tables, trying to hide his lit cigarette. He was visibly embarrassed. At least he was friendly, unlike his colleague, who came up from somewhere behind me and neither greeted me nor managed a smile. Instead, he wiped his sweaty forehead with a tea towel. Neither of them washed their hands, which, especially after smoking and before preparing food, should really be part of the hygiene standard. Out of the question for me. Apparently for others too, because there were no other guests or customers there. On a Friday evening around 8:30 p.m., mind you! How the place survives is a mystery to me. The fact that there's a shelf next to the refrigerator filled with used paperbacks, which you can buy for a few euros, also seems rather out of place in a restaurant. Instead of meat freshly cut from a spit, there were leftovers kept warm in aluminum foil. That pretty much says it all. Never again!

Delicious kebab at a good price

More than just a kebab shop. I really like the fries and pizza at Iskender Kebap, and they also have many other dishes suitable for vegetarians. The owner also sells soft-serve ice cream and small handmade accessories, and there are second-hand books. A nice place if you don't want to wait long or pay a lot in the Frankenberger district.

I gave the place another chance after ages. The food is still awful.

They have very friendly and hospitable staff. The food tastes not very good. It's also expensive. It looks like they're still improving.

Honestly, for us it's the tastiest kebab ever! And very important: very clean! Many thanks for the friendly welcome and the nice service every time :)

We had the worst kebab box we have ever eaten. Unfortunately the taste was very weak. The kebab box was full of liquid underneath, probably from the salad. The meat wasn't good either and had a lot of gristle. After we asked for cutlery, it was also dirty. There are freezers for meat in the guest room and the preparation in the back kitchen doesn't look like it meets the hygiene requirements. Both were only half eaten and I had a stomach ache in the evening... never again

The food was good; I went to that place twice, but unfortunately, the service was terrible. It seemed like they were angry about having to serve me. Honestly, I don't recommend it, but maybe someone else will be lucky enough to receive good service.

They have a huge selection, and everything I've eaten so far (kebabs, wraps, pizza, pasta) has been absolutely delicious. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. I've been there many times and have never been disappointed. They don't skimp on the sauce when it comes to food either. 👍🏻

The restaurant's very friendly service makes the visit a pleasure. The doner kebab turnovers are particularly good. It's a cult favorite that the owner makes his own pendants and also sells crime novels and thrillers for 1 euro.

The food was not tasty, the seasonings were not noticeable and the meat and vegetables were not so good. I recommend other Dönner in the area like Normaluhr Grill.

Short and sweet... No highlight!

In my life, this Lahmacun was bad, which was eaten. You can't say Lahmacun because it's not Lahmacun. We couldn't eat. We paid 15 euros for 3 lavas. That's scary. I don't recommend anyone but thanks for everything :).

Everything was great, very child-friendly and the food was a dream :)

Unfortunately, the quality of the food varies greatly - sometimes 5-star delicious, sometimes for the ton.

The man briefly wipes his face and then begins to stack the loose, cold pieces of the leftover kebab skewer with his hands. But pieces keep falling down, which he then picks up and puts back on the pile. I got up and walked away, disappointed by the carelessness in the preparation.

Very tasty food, super friendly service! The homemade falafel was really good and the kofta blew us away! Always my pleasure!

Today we were guests of Ahmet again. The recommended dish of the day was top notch and the friendliness of the staff was very accommodating. Price performance is very good! Always my pleasure

Ordered food online, spent over €50, salad was old, schnitzel in cream sauce...disgusting. I would prefer to give 0 stars. It was the first and last time that food was ordered there!

Unfortunately not tasty :( I've ordered a kebab twice now, but both times the meat simply tasted bad.

Doner kebab gratinated: The dough is pitch black. Unfortunately, I only noticed it at home. Inedible and 8.90 euros for the trash can.

Excellent food and friendly service. I could not find a fault in my döner, or maybe just one, the bulgur salad was too cold. Meat, fries and sauces were perfect. Wife had a halloumi falafel bowl and was very, very happy with that.

Echt lecker, sogar echtes Dönerfleisch. Soßen kann man frei wählen und Beläge sind reichlich. Pommes sind auch gut. Alles in allem nichts unglaublich außergewöhnliches, aber trotzdem sehr lecker und empfehlenswert.

Leider ein sehr schwacher Döner. Der Döner erfüllt gerade so die geringsten Erwartungen. Ein wirkliches Geschmackserlebnis kommt dabei aber nicht auf. Der Döner hat kaum einen aufregenden Geschmack. Er fühlt sich lieblos zubereitet an. Das Dönerbrot war nicht einmal richtig durchgebraten und war fast roh. Ich würde mich freuen, wenn sich der Laden noch verbessert, aber das war leider nichts. Für Aachener Verhältnisse leider ein sehr schwacher Vertreter.

Döner schmeckt einfach nicht gut. Die Zutaten sehen aus als liegen die da schon was länger. Frisch war es auf jeden Fall nicht. Fleischqualität ist auch nicht wirklich gut

Ende Mai: Wir wünschen dem Koch gute Genesung! Die Speisekarte war nur im "Notprogramm".

Sehr leckeres Essen! Der Iskender Kebap in allen Varianten ist mein absoluter Favorit.

Good food. I like the Adana kebab. Close to my house so I visit whenever I don't want to cook. Nice decor and the staff are very hospitable, though my German is annoyingly basic.

Sehr sehr leckeres essen in zentraler Lage. Das Personal ist sehr herzlich und gastfreundlich. Dazu ein sehr stimmiges Preis-/ Leistungsverhältnis. Ich komme immer wieder gerne!

Für mich sehr praktisch aufgrund der Lage. Man muss eins sagen: sehr viel Auswahl! Hier ist für jeden etwas dabei, egal ob Döner, Fleischspieße, Pizza, Salate oder vegetarische Tagesgerichte. Dazu netter Service und eine angenehme Armosphere. Definitiv nicht mein letzter Besuch bei Iskender Kebab!
