Bad food, prices not normal for such a bad restaurant, so one star is also a lot

Although I don't like the fact that the falafel sandwiches were increased from €4.50 to €5.90, I still prefer to eat Arabic there because the cuisine is very authentic (sour vegetables need to be included again) and the prices are quite reasonable for old town standards are ok. If you get a seat, it's actually quite nice to sit outside 👍 Fortunately, even the “sandwich maker” smiles when he sees me. Otherwise he always looks grim 😄

I have rarely had such a bad experience in a restaurant. The food was simply inedible – bland, bland and absolutely disappointing in terms of taste. You get the feeling that neither fresh ingredients nor love of cooking were involved. There was also an extremely loud and unpleasant noise level in the room. It was so loud that you could barely have a normal conversation. There was absolutely no thought of relaxation or enjoyment at this level of noise. And the worst: Everything was way too expensive and absolutely not worth the money. The service was okay, but that doesn't make up for the rest of the disaster. Absolutely not recommended, I definitely won't be coming back!

They basically ripped us off. They charged us €9 for a large water and €8 for an ice drink. If they steal from you like this, the food experience is lost. They deserve a complaint.

The worst food I have ever eaten in my life was in this restaurant. The food was very poor compared to the prices. The chicken smelled unpleasant, the rice was old and had probably been cooked at least two days ago, and the meat wasn't fresh either. The restaurant is beautiful and its oriental decor is first class, but the quality of the food and the prices are in dire need of reconsideration. An experience that I will not repeat. We were there in a large group (~30 people) and had a company party. The negotiated package deal suddenly didn't include any wine, no Hefeweizen, etc. After a while, this was agreed to, but the quota of drinks was apparently exhausted so quickly. The food was ok, but really not good. Raw vegetables, dips, cooked meat and lots of rice. The service was unfriendly and even after a glass of red wine was spilled on my colleague's clothes, there was no apology, no new drink, or anything else! Was a disappointing evening!

Great atmosphere in the restaurant and of course you sit outside in the middle of the action, as is typical for Düsseldorf's old town. Belly dancer, break dancer etc. in the street. Unfortunately you sit very close to the other guests outside. Food is delicious but if you don't love it completely and it's vegetarian you won't miss anything by eating somewhere else. The service is super attentive and nice. For the eggplant casserole: it is cold and without cheese, as we know it from German cuisine, for example. Lots of oil and chickpeas - very good! I think you always get enough bread - at least for us it was automatic.

We have rarely had such a bad meal anywhere and at this price too. We had two starters today and they were “quite ok”. There was also 1 tablespoon of yogurt as a sauce for 2 people. Bread was served in a plastic bag, without dip or similar, which was therefore very dry - unfortunately that was also the case with our dinner. We had lamb and minced beef skewers, once with fries and once with rice. What can I say - the lamb could have been pork chop in terms of taste and there was no taste of the listed X spices either, very flabby and absolutely dry. The portion was stretched by placing flatbread with a leaf of lettuce under the meat and fries. So the plate wasn't even full. No sauce or anything like that here either, as if individual ingredients were served dry on a plate. This single dish cost €30, which is an absolute disgrace as it was a bad snack dish for a realistic €12-15. Exactly the same with the other dish. So we paid €83 for two small, dry and unseasoned portions. The waiter was also very unfriendly when we didn't tip for the meal. We will never come here again because the quality, quantity and price are not right. In our opinion, an absolute, deliberate rip-off.

The location looks good but the food is not good at all, the meat is not cooked through and the portions are a joke. You should also work on cleanliness. The high prices are absolutely not justified.

We didn't like it. The fish platter wasn't particularly good and didn't really taste good either. Service is rather mediocre. Prices are grossly overpriced for what is on offer here. As a Berliner, I have to say, no recommendation.

Great Lebanese / Middle East restuarant in the middle of the Old Town, very close to the Carlsplatz. Good value for money and a wide range of well prepared food. Recommended.

I can only describe my experiences with the “Lebanon Express” snack bar next door and I really liked it. The best falafel in Düsseldorf! It's loud and maybe not that inviting but if you don't mind that, you'll be rewarded with rarely delicious oriental food! A lot of Lebanese eat there, which is always a good sign and I definitely wasn't disappointed. Thank you 🙏🏽

The starters are unbeatable. Main courses could somehow be a little more sophisticated. But the ambience is right and the service is ok. However, the snack bar next door, which is also part of "Lebanon", is definitely the better option for me. There you can get excellent, typical Lebanese snacks at a fair price (tabuleh, Tajren sauce, various filled dumplings, etc.) - simply delicious!

IMPOSSIBLE EXPENSIVE! Two plates of rice (I wasn't asked whether I wanted potatoes or rice as a side dish, the waiter brought what was still in the kitchen!) with meat (200 grams), 2 cokes and it cost us 79 EURO. Indifferent staff who demanded payment as quickly as possible even though it was 11.15pm and the restaurant is open until 12am ABSOLUTELY NEVER AGAIN! Don't come here if you respect yourself and want good food and service for a lot of money The staff speaks terrible German and they couldn't answer my questions about the dish I ordered BUT...😈If you are actively looking for Lebanese male attention from the staff, then you come to this "restaurant" and you will not get any service, just lustful looks from the side - yes! No matter whether you, women, are with a man in the Lebanon restaurant 😉

I just went to the fast food joint next to the restaurant. The gentlemen behind the counter are very friendly and quick. The selection is huge, all ingredients are fresh. We recommend. When the weather is good, you can sit outside at tables in the middle of the old town. Splendid!

The food is okay, but way too expensive!!! The cheapest thing on the menu is humus for 9 euros. Bottle of water: 8.90 euros. No dish under 20 euros. The dishes are very simple: mostly meat or fish with fries or rice. No sauce! We waited 1.5 hours for our food. Price-performance is simply not right here.

We were there for Japan Day, the city was very full, but we got a table there without any problems, there were still a few free tables. We chose a menu that was very good, but the kitchen was completely overwhelmed. Despite asking how long the next course would last, only people shrugged their shoulders. We spent over 3 hours sitting for the menu and unfortunately no further requests for drinks were asked. If a service person had told us right from the start that the Mrnues would take longer due to the number of guests, we would have chosen a different dish. We weren't the huge ones, other guests also waited ages and assembled this

First time - last time! Leftover food is scraped together with your hands and filled into the food containers again! Completely overpriced, lousy service. Never ever again.

The shawarma warps were filled with mostly lettuce than meat, he messed up our order for more than one wrap.. but what we hated the most was the customer service!!! First time trying shawarma in here, the quatity was poor ( the sandwish was almost half empty) . The order was not right, he made us pay before eating as well which is not the case with other customers. Overall, the experience was truly bad. Unprofessional workers, non receptive to the client wishes.

Had Lebanese for the first time today and was 100% impressed! We can give the highest score for everything! Very nice staff! The food looks great and tastes hard to describe! It's worth an experience! Go and try it out! We'll come back when we're back in Düsseldorf!!!

When we are in Düsseldorf we always eat at Lebanon Restaurant. Exquisite meals. The atmosphere is also great. The restaurant is attractively decorated, smells deliciously of food and on Saturdays there is a belly dancer who provides entertainment. Service is excellent, sometimes you have to wait a little longer, but that is because it is always busy. Recommended.

This is not the case, there is a small amount of money and 101€ for 2 people as normal. Don't worry! Nothing to do with it. English: Unfortunately, the prices are very high compared to the quality of the food, which is less than normal and there is nothing special about it. Lunch for two people (a shish meal - two skewers - and a grill meal - two meat skewers -, a small baba ghanoush plate, a hummus plate, a small fattoush plate (with bread served in it and fresh mano fattoush), and two cups of arak, for 101 euros!! Of course, the visit was on May 3, based on the reviews on Google Map, and on this basis, we visited the restaurant. Note: The staff in the restaurant are respectful and treat them as good as any other restaurant.

If the starter was okay, the main course lost all the joy of eating. Hardly seasoned and extremely dry. And we were there with a larger group, and no one really enjoyed it. Our waitress didn't seem to be interested either. I don't have to go there again.

I was there today with a friend and when we looked for a certain dish in the menu, it wasn't there, we asked a waiter and he said it wasn't there, we apologized and left the restaurant. and when we left the restaurant, two waiters laughed disrespectfully, even though they weren't talking to each other, and the friend noticed that the two of them were looking at us as they laughed so disrespectfully and ridiculously loudly with (KH KH KH), so that we can hear them.

Neither the respectful style of those running it nor the quality of the food deserves to be visited again. During my last visit in February of this year, I hoped to find better treatment from the staff, but the same bad treatment and they maintained the poor quality of the food provided. This place and location deserves better service.

The decor of the restaurant is absolutely fabulous. The food was also good. What killed the experience for me was the unfriendliness of the waiters. When I asked a question about a meal, the waiter seemed very impatient and did not help me. Furthermore, I had a friend of mine who was coincidentally in the city so I told him to come to the restaurant where me and my girlfriend were eating. He had already had lunch, but was asked at least 5 times to order something, also in a very penetrating manner. The waiters need better training so that their behaviour more suits the fancy place they are working in. Lastly, the waiter was impolite when I didn’t want to leave a tip.

A classic in the old town. We had 2 mixed plates, one vegetarian. All dishes delicious. Service was quick and friendly, in the "Express" you pick up your food at the counter. Price wise everything was okay too. Gladly again.

I saw this restaurant after having lunch at another. And I liked the decorations and went in to take a look and decided to try it out the next day. When I asked the waiter if I needed a reservation he was super rude and made fun of my question just because I'm Syrian and he's Lebanese..When will this end?? Like I'm eating in heaven. He should learn to show some respect.

We had a very nice evening in the Lebanon restaurant. The staff was very friendly and quick. We had a 4 course menu which was very filling. All dishes were served on small plates and the main course on a large platter. Gladly again!

Very nice boss, very clean kitchen! I'll have something to eat soon. The only function that day was to repair various heaters.

The worst restaurant in terms of reception and customer service? Lack of decency and lack of respect, there is no description. The waiter spoke to us in a completely disrespectful manner, to the point that we left the restaurant that day and did not order a meal. Even the star is a loss in it.

A classic to visit in the old town when in Dusseldorf. Exotic food for us, courteous and efficient staff. On Saturdays there is also a belly dance show which tries to involve customers, personally I didn't find it of great interest. The place is a bit noisy.

Food was not bad, but there was alot of mosquitos and flies on all the tables, and that was extremely annoying.

Super tolles libanesisches Restaurant. Wir hatten das Mittagsangebot für 12€! Echt viel, lecker und einfach gut. Plus einen leckeren Salat. Nur zu empfehlen. Dazu das tolle Ambiente. Das war wirklich toll.

Das Fleisch war lecker, aber trotzdem ist alles viel zu überteuert. Wir hatten das Menü mit den kalten und warmen Vorspeisen, die teilweise ganz klar aus Dosen waren und nicht selbst/ frisch zubereitet. Diese Menüs sind nur zu haben, wenn man es zu zweit bestellt, aber es kommt kein Essen für 2 Personen. Wir waren schockiert als das Hauptgericht auf einem einzigen Teller kam mit einem Spieß Hähnchen und einem Spieß Lamm. Und dafür haben wir 50 Euro pro Person gezahlt... diese "Menüs" fangen ab 40 Euro pro Person an. Absolut überteuert und niemals das Geld wert. Lieber in den Imbiss nebenan gehen, was wir sehr bereut haben nicht gemacht zu haben.

Tolles authentisches Restaurant! Man kann sich fast schon von den Vorspeisen satt essen (also aufpassen!). Meine Lammfilets waren außerordentlich gut mariniert, bzw die Soße war wirklich sensationell gut - ich war selten so begeistert. Zu den Vorspeisen: es wird genügend Fladenbrot verteilt und man sucht sich die "Dips" aus - natürlich auch Hummus. Man kann hier wirklich ein ordentliches Date organisieren und wenn man viel Hunger hat 30-40€ p.P. ausgeben. Ein Hauptspeise kostet durchschnittlich +-20€, und angesichts der sehr starken Qualität, außerordentlich lohnenswert. Und nicht zu vergessen: das Ambiente ist auch sehr heimlich, luxuriös, und verkörpert zauberhaft die libanesische Kultur.

Wir haben dort gegessen. Das Essen war sehr gut, aber auch das Personal und das Preis - Leistungsverhältnis . Es war alles bestens.

Das Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis stimmt nicht. Hier hat mittlerweile eher die Mentalität Masse statt Klasse Einzug gehaltenen. Die Qualität des Essens hat leider nachgelassen. Das Lamm war total trocken, das Rind ging einigermaßen, das Hähnchen war ok. Die Schafskäsetaschen waren ebenfalls zu trocken. Der Hummus war geschmacklich gut aber für meinen Geschmack etwas zu viel Öl in der Mitte des Tellers. Im letzten Jahr wurden noch ein paar Kichererbsen und frische Kräuter mit angerichtet und gaben dem Hummus nochmal einen schönen Geschmack. Das lässt man jetzt, leider zum Nachteil des Gerichtes, weg. Schade finden wir auch, dass man gemischte Vorspeisenteller, egal ob kalt oder warm, nur in Verbindung mit einem Menü bekommen kann. Für eine Grillstube (die gleich nebenan ist und offensichtlich dazugehört. Vermutlich ein und die selbe Küche...) wäre das Essen ok. Das alles hat mich dazu bewogen, das Essen nur mit zwei Sternen zu bewerten. Die Bedienung war freundlich.
