Shawarma with raw meat…absolutely unacceptable and not recommended…

Overpriced! The quality of the food was good, but it wasn‘t tasty.. The waiter was not nice and welcoming.. The sweets were not fresh.. Decorations and vibes are kinda nice..

So I don't know where to start! We initially made a reservation for 6 people. Went to this restaurant full of anticipation. Since it was also my birthday, I wanted to treat myself to something delicious. We also noticed at the beginning that the restaurant was empty. Few people were in this restaurant. We were very surprised. But they ignored it. Unfortunately it was a total failure! The food was so bad that I felt sick. We ordered beef with sauce and fries and rice. The meat was old or rotten. It tasted very strongly of blood. Ugh!! And the fries were not salted and the sauces were pre-packaged from Knorr or Maggie. It was all so careless on the plate. We initially ordered soups because we came for Iftar. No bread given, no starters given. Just after asking multiple times. At the end we got the bill and what can I say. I almost fell out of my chair. 286€ for what??? They even charged us extra for soup. We actually had to argue with the waiter, who was unfriendly anyway. They are not customer oriented at all. Customer is king! We know what we ordered or ate. So very disrespectful and incompetent. The food was miserable and very expensive! I would definitely not recommend this restaurant. 1 star is already too much!! I would prefer not to give one.

The service is always courteous. The food is always freshly prepared, the fillet tips are very tasty as are the lamb chops.

We have been to the "Lebanon Restaurant" in Düsseldorf several times, sometimes with family and sometimes with friends. We always enjoyed it very much. Really delicious food, good drinks and friendly staff. A visit here for lunch or dinner is definitely worth it.

Ich war nach vielen Jahren mal wieder dort. Es ist immer noch ein tolles Ambiente. Alle sehr freundlich. Aber vieles von dem Essen, ist sehr weit entfernt von libanesisch. Es hat uns trotzdem geschmeckt. Wäre aber schön wenn das Essen auch libanesisch schmecken würde.

The food was very bad - an experience I won't have again. The shawarma was bad, as was the shish. As for the desserts, although the Kunafa was good, the service was really abysmal.

Has gotten worse over the years. Not authentic and overpriced. The chicken was good, the rest was rather tasteless. The lamb wasn't done yet, half raw. The employees were discussing loudly in the background, which didn't make the atmosphere particularly pleasant. I won't come again

At every fair we always come here because they have very good food and they also give you a belly dancing show. For me it's a good experience

Our visit to this restaurant ended in frustration. We made it clear from the start that we only wanted to order appetizers - an agreement that the waiter initially confirmed without objection. After the cold and warm starters, which were visually appealing and tasted fresh and delicious, we made sure and reiterated that we didn't want any main courses. But shortly afterwards the waiter suddenly informed us that the main courses were now ready to be served - despite previous and repeated clarifications. Our objections were dismissed with the remark that the main course and dessert were an obligatory part of the menu and there was no way to change anything about it. The food was then packed for us to take away. Although the food was attractively presented and tasted flawless, this “misunderstanding” left a bad aftertaste. We also ended up with a sum in the high three-digit range for food that we never ordered. An inflexible and customer-unfriendly service spoils even the most pleasant atmosphere and makes a return visit impossible for us.

We had a 4 course meal for two people! Everything tasted very tasty throughout. Overall, it was too much food for our bellies. We feasted and it felt like it wouldn't be any less. This could have fed 3-4 people. The atmosphere was nice and the belly dancer created a great atmosphere. However, the music was too loud, so conversation wasn't possible. Do we recommend the restaurant? In any case!

Not recommended – unpleasant experience We were in the Lebanese restaurant in the center of the old town on Saturday evening - unfortunately it was an extremely unpleasant visit to the restaurant. The restaurant was the only one in the area where we got a table without waiting - and in retrospect it's clear why. While we were there, the music suddenly turned up extremely loud, making conversation impossible. A belly dancer entered the restaurant wearing only a bra and a tight tulle skirt (which looked cheap) (despite the winter) and started dancing. The atmosphere was anything but pleasant - many of the men in the room stared at her, others put banknotes in her bra. The situation felt more like a club and had nothing to do with a relaxed restaurant visit. When the dancer finally left, we were relieved - but unfortunately only for a short time, as she came back after a few minutes and the music became so loud again that entertainment was out of the question. There were also smaller but annoying things: When we ordered a steak knife, we were only brought a normal knife. Overall, the atmosphere was just oppressive and unpleasant, so much so that I lost my appetite. I have rarely felt so uncomfortable in a restaurant. If you value a relaxed meal, you should definitely avoid this place.

We were here on January 4, 2025 for our wedding anniversary. We ordered the Lebanese Mäsa Bybloss. 8 cold and 2 were starters, then 2 warm main courses, followed by a selection of baklawa. There is only one thing to say about the food… great. We liked it very much and it was plentiful. The service was very good! Very nice and forward-looking. We were given enough time for the starters. Before the main courses were served, we were asked whether we were ready. There was also a small belly dance performance which was also very nice. All in all a very nice evening with nothing to complain about.

Food was extremely expensive for what was more or less a very small portion of chicken with curry sauce. For 26€ one would expect more than such a small portion of chicken. The atmosphere and service was good though. But would not visit again.

Too busy during Christmas market, 2 pcs. Ordered menu, received 1 at checkout, tried 2 pcs. Menu to be charged. Not again was a one-off for me.

Top restaurant. I can only recommend it. The people here are always friendly and will help wherever they can. They gave us a wonderful evening and we are so happy that we were there again and will always come back. The food is just so delicious and prepared with love. You can taste that. All I can say is give it a try.

We were actually looking forward to this restaurant. Unfortunately, the anticipation remained. The plates were arranged like a bad chip shop. You slap food on it and put a leaf of lettuce on the side and you're disappointed just by looking at it, without knowing what it tastes like. Well then came the taste test. Getting pickled chicken dry is quite an art. Dry rice with it is simply great. Unfortunately our waiter was also very superficial. Requests were ignored and the glasses remained empty. The only very positive thing was the belly dancer. She spread the mood and was really great.

We ate here with a group yesterday and were very satisfied! The food was delicious, the place was very beautiful in a traditional way. And not to start about the workers, very very professional! The toilets were also clean! 10 outta 10.

Way too busy during the Christmas market. Ordered two dishes for a total of €32.90. A sandwich and a Lebanon Express special. I only got half a dish. After a while the other half. They then forgot the sandwich. What do they do, they take away the meat from my main course to put in the sandwich. I've actually never experienced this before. Service far below par. Customer friendliness not up to par, food was mediocre. I will definitely never go back here again

One of my favourite places in Düsseldorf

We can't understand the negative reviews at all. The food tasted very, very good, generous portions, very nicely prepared and you didn't have to wait long for it. At first we were a little shocked about the prices, but it was definitely worth it. Both in terms of taste, ambience and the belly dancer's show performance. You felt like you were getting a good insight into the culture and that made the meal even more special. It wasn't just a meal, it was also an experience.

Be in Germany for belly dancing it is interesting. Good food, service OK, climate old fasion, overall 4 stars.

The food is very ordinary. We ordered hot potatoes, which came out full of oil. We ordered grape leaves, which is somewhat acceptable. We ordered kibbeh, which tastes good. We ordered mixed grills (shish tawook is good, the kebab is good, and the receipts are bad). We ordered two excellent Ayran drinks

I would have liked a cold or warm starter plate with several little things to try, instead of just the dish as a single dish.

Unfortunately, there has been a significant decline in the quality of the food. The grape leaves were brought in a poor condition, as if they had been extracted from a container of console. It is unfortunate that you pay an average of 35 euros for a meal and do not get anything good in return.

113€ for a meal that doesn't cost 20€, we were really ripped off! The food just tastes disgusting, it has a really strange taste and some of the salad is rotten. It was supposed to be food for two people, so it only feeds one person!! That was definitely the last time we were there!

Worst service, zero friendliness, zero motivation. The employees look at you as if they have hated you for years. Terrible. Never again. Food wasn't good either.

An oriental Lebanese restaurant serving Arabic food

Falafel wraps not that much taste, falafel was pretty banished and not tasty. Little sauce and salad on it, bread wasn't crispy... quite expensive too

A nice restaurant with an oriental atmosphere. However, the food totally surprised me!!!! Given the shamefully high prices of €90 for two carelessly made dishes, I would have expected better food and not snack food!! Never go back.

Had Lebanese for the first time today and was 100% impressed! We can give the highest score for everything! Very nice staff! The food looks great and tastes hard to describe! It's worth an experience! Go and try it out! We will come back when we are back in Düsseldorf!!!

Went there for a baklava, that was actually pretty dry but of a good taste. Service was good. Drink prices were normal but the baklava was very small for the price.

Although I don't like the fact that the falafel sandwiches were increased from €4.50 to €5.90, I still prefer to eat Arabic there because the cuisine is very authentic (sour vegetables need to be included again) and the prices are quite reasonable for old town standards are ok. I have rarely had such a bad experience in a restaurant. The food was simply inedible – bland, bland and absolutely disappointing in terms of taste. You get the feeling that neither fresh ingredients nor love of cooking were involved. There was also an extremely loud and unpleasant noise level in the room. It was so loud that you could barely have a normal conversation. There was absolutely no thought of relaxation or enjoyment at this level of noise. And the worst: Everything was way too expensive and absolutely not worth the money. The service was okay, but that doesn't make up for the rest of the disaster. Absolutely not recommended, I definitely won't be coming back!

They basically ripped us off. They charged us €9 for a large water and €8 for an ice drink. If they steal from you like this, the food experience is lost. They deserve a complaint.

The worst food I have ever eaten in my life was in this restaurant. The food was very poor compared to the prices. The chicken smelled unpleasant, the rice was old and had probably been cooked at least two days ago, and the meat wasn't fresh either. The restaurant is beautiful and its oriental decor is first class, but the quality of the food and the prices are in dire need of reconsideration. An experience that I will not repeat. We were there in a large group (~30 people) and had a company party. The negotiated package deal suddenly didn't include any wine, no Hefeweizen, etc. After a while, this was agreed to, but the quota of drinks was apparently exhausted so quickly. The food was ok, but really not good. Raw vegetables, dips, cooked meat and lots of rice. The service was unfriendly and even after a glass of red wine was spilled on my colleague's clothes, there was no apology, no new drink, or anything else! Was a disappointing evening!

Great atmosphere in the restaurant and of course you sit outside in the middle of the action, as is typical for Düsseldorf's old town. Belly dancer, break dancer etc. in the street. Unfortunately you sit very close to the other guests outside. Food is delicious but if you don't love it completely and it's vegetarian you won't miss anything by eating somewhere else. The service is super attentive and nice. For the eggplant casserole: it is cold and without cheese, as we know it from German cuisine, for example. Lots of oil and chickpeas - very good! I think you always get enough bread - at least for us it was automatic.

We have rarely had such a bad meal anywhere and at this price too. We had two starters today and they were “quite ok”. There was also 1 tablespoon of yogurt as a sauce for 2 people. Bread was served in a plastic bag, without dip or similar, which was therefore very dry - unfortunately that was also the case with our dinner. We had lamb and minced beef skewers, once with fries and once with rice. What can I say - the lamb could have been pork chop in terms of taste and there was no taste of the listed X spices either, very flabby and absolutely dry. The portion was stretched by placing flatbread with a leaf of lettuce under the meat and fries. So the plate wasn't even full. No sauce or anything like that here either, as if individual ingredients were served dry on a plate. This single dish cost €30, which is an absolute disgrace as it was a bad snack dish for a realistic €12-15. Exactly the same with the other dish. So we paid €83 for two small, dry and unseasoned portions. The waiter was also very unfriendly when we didn't tip for the meal. We will never come here again because the quality, quantity and price are not right. In our opinion, an absolute, deliberate rip-off.

The location looks good but the food is not good at all, the meat is not cooked through and the portions are a joke. You should also work on cleanliness. The high prices are absolutely not justified.

We didn't like it. The fish platter wasn't particularly good and didn't really taste good either. Service is rather mediocre. Prices are grossly overpriced for what is on offer here. As a Berliner, I have to say, no recommendation.

I can only describe my experiences with the “Lebanon Express” snack bar next door and I really liked it. The best falafel in Düsseldorf! It's loud and maybe not that inviting but if you don't mind that, you'll be rewarded with rarely delicious oriental food! A lot of Lebanese eat there, which is always a good sign and I definitely wasn't disappointed. Thank you 🙏🏽

We went to the snack bar and the food was good. The tables were dirty. There is still room for improvement when it comes to cleanliness.

The starters are unbeatable. Main courses could somehow be a little more sophisticated. But the ambience is right and the service is ok. However, the snack bar next door, which is also part of "Lebanon", is definitely the better option for me. There you can get excellent, typical Lebanese snacks at a fair price (tabuleh, Tajren sauce, various filled dumplings, etc.) - simply delicious!

IMPOSSIBLE EXPENSIVE! Two plates of rice (I wasn't asked whether I wanted potatoes or rice as a side dish, the waiter brought what was still in the kitchen!) with meat (200 grams), 2 cokes and it cost us 79 EURO. Indifferent staff who demanded payment as quickly as possible even though it was 11.15pm and the restaurant is open until 12am ABSOLUTELY NEVER AGAIN! Don't come here if you respect yourself and want good food and service for a lot of money The staff speaks terrible German and they couldn't answer my questions about the dish I ordered BUT...😈If you are actively looking for Lebanese male attention from the staff, then you come to this "restaurant" and you will not get any service, just lustful looks from the side - yes! No matter whether you, women, are with a man in the Lebanon restaurant 😉

I just went to the fast food joint next to the restaurant. The gentlemen behind the counter are very friendly and quick. The selection is huge, all ingredients are fresh. We recommend. When the weather is good, you can sit outside at tables in the middle of the old town. Splendid!

The food is okay, but way too expensive!!! The cheapest thing on the menu is humus for 9 euros. Bottle of water: 8.90 euros. No dish under 20 euros. The dishes are very simple: mostly meat or fish with fries or rice. No sauce! We waited 1.5 hours for our food. Price-performance is simply not right here.

First time - last time! Leftover food is scraped together with your hands and filled into the food containers again! Completely overpriced, lousy service. Never ever again.

We were there for Japan Day, the city was very full, but we got a table there without any problems, there were still a few free tables. We chose a menu that was very good, but the kitchen was completely overwhelmed. Despite asking how long the next course would last, only people shrugged their shoulders. We spent over 3 hours sitting for the menu and unfortunately no further requests for drinks were asked. If a service person had told us right from the start that the Mrnues would take longer due to the number of guests, we would have chosen a different dish. We weren't the huge ones, other guests also waited ages and assembled this

Nice atmosphere, friendly service and excellent Lebanese cuisine. The baklava type desserts are below average.

The shawarma warps were filled with mostly lettuce than meat, he messed up our order for more than one wrap.. but what we hated the most was the customer service!!! They didn’t even look at us when we were ordering and treated us in the worst way possible. Atmosphere was okay Wouldn’t comeback again!!!
