The food was authentic and very good. The atmosphere is nice in itself, but when the restaurant is full, the rather cramped seating and acoustics make it quite noisy. The service could be friendlier and more personal, but also seems somewhat overwhelmed when the restaurant is full.

Hi guys, I always try to be honest. I can't understand how this place can be so hyped. The service was so unfriendly and uninviting. The food was okay. The only positive thing I found about this place was the cleanliness.

We visited this restaurant on October 20, 2025. The food was excellent, and the service by the young lady was first-class. We felt more at home than we've ever felt in a restaurant. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

We received a very warm welcome and were shown to a table. The service was very customer-oriented, friendly, and accommodating. We decided to have several smaller dishes instead of one large main course. The young waitress gave us excellent advice on our selection. The wine list was also very well-chosen and perfectly complemented the menu. We'd be happy to return!

Seriously... I paid €115 for bored service (except for the young lady) and subpar food. Most of the dishes were ready-made products from a bucket or can. Even the tabbouleh was tasteless—and that's actually a very simple salad. The meat dishes were better, but obviously prepared many hours in advance. I can find much better Lebanese food than this.

I ate there with my family today and although the starters were delicious, the portions were relatively small for the price and the wait was quite long even though the restaurant was maybe 30% full. When the main course arrived, we all unfortunately agreed that we didn't like it. The quality of the food was completely different from what we had experienced with the starters. The chicken was a bit unseasoned and tough, the rice looked and tasted like it had been prepared a few days ago and the vegetables weren't cooked properly and therefore a bit hard. The lamb my family had wasn't convincing either and the mixed grill platter with fries was unfortunately not there either; for example, the fries had been fried for too long and were hard and a bit burnt as a result. All in all, for the price, we probably won't be going back.

I went there for dinner with friends on a Friday evening. The service was extremely friendly and very accommodating. When asked, she gave excellent recommendations and switched to English when necessary. Both the starters and main courses were excellent; everything was fresh and incredibly delicious. They constantly cleared away empty dishes and asked if we wanted any more drinks. We also received a great recommendation for dessert, and when we couldn't decide, they gave everyone at the table a free piece of baklava. All the desserts, and especially the baklava ice cream, were absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant; I would go back anytime!

Very delicious food, service is average

The food was excellent – fresh, authentic, and full of flavor. I'd especially like to highlight the service: incredibly attentive, friendly, and courteous. Because the machine broke that morning, we couldn't pay by card. So we limited our order to drinks, as we didn't have enough cash with us. The waitress immediately bought us two beers on the house. She responded brilliantly!

The food was delicious. The lamb was excellent. The value for money for both the starters and main courses was good. The set menus, however, are the best. They are truly top-notch, with a great selection, very good food, and everything included. The service was impeccable, very friendly, and completely unobtrusive. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and the portion sizes were generous but it was still overpriced. The chicken was slightly over-seasoned for my taste.

Great choice for a Lebanese restaurant

I wasn’t really happy with the service. Yes it was full but I’ve been disregarded many times and been promised to come back for my request which never happened. The grill teller was not for me - too dry and missed the juiciness. The falafel was good! Hummus, Mutabal, the salads I’d skip. Eggplant with cauliflower was alright.

This place is a must visit for everyone who is coming to Düsseldorf. We have visited it with my colleagues and everyone was left with a huge impression. Everything is authentic, homemade and all the wines are coming from Lebanon. The food is one of the best we have ever tried! The location and ambience are perfect as well. We can’t wait to come back to Düsseldorf to try it again. Huge respect to the owners and the team! 🙏

I was here with my Palestinian business partner. The restaurant has a classical decor. The food is mostly excellent; you can taste the Orient. However, I wasn't impressed with number 134 on the menu; the dish had little connection to Middle Eastern cuisine. Unfortunately, I also have to say that the prices are very high for what's on offer; you can sometimes get better and cheaper food in Essen itself. In summary: Great atmosphere, friendly staff, food is reasonable, but not all of it is authentic, and the prices are definitely on the higher end.

The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't warm either. There was a hair in the starter, which we noticed in the kitchen and was simply removed. The same plate was served to us again without an apology. We waited a very long time for the food. The food wasn't warm and I got fries instead of sliced ​​potatoes. The staff weren't friendly and we unfortunately didn't feel comfortable. After the meal we were given a small sweet on the house, which was also delicious. The restaurant has a lot of potential and we would have happily returned if this potential had been fulfilled.

Dear Li Beirut Team, We visited you today for my wife's birthday and had a generally wonderful time. Aside from the fact that the food, especially the meat and vegetables, and the raw vegetables, weren't particularly fresh, one thing really bothered us and put a damper on what was otherwise a pleasant experience. We ordered the "platter for two people," which was labeled "€54 per person." It wasn't until we received the bill that we realized the total price was €108. We found the wording on the menu to be misleading, as it can quickly make it seem as if the dish costs a total of €54. Perhaps you could clarify the pricing a bit in the future – something like: "Plate for two people – €108 (€54 per person)" This would avoid potential misunderstandings and increase transparency. I (as a connoisseur) have never experienced some of the dishes quite like this before, and we were thrilled. The desserts are also fantastic, and the mastic ice cream with baklava crunch is a must-try. You can't eat your way through the entire menu, but I'm excited about the next dishes we'll try. Elie's Hugo with the homemade lemonade is a hit! Keep it up!
