Wir waren bezaubert von dem Ambiente, dem sehr persönlichen und kompetenten Service und dem sehr leckeren Essen. Dies ist ein Erlebnis, das wir uns sicherlich nicht oft leisten können, das aber gleichzeitig jeden Cent wert war. Sehr gerne wieder!

Leider ist das Restaurant in keiner guten Gegend. Wenn man auf der Terrasse isst riecht es stark nach Urin. Das Brot und Tatar war sehr gut, der Hautgang mittelmäßig. Service war sehr gut.

Our party of five ordered starters, wine, beer, and main courses. However, we encountered several issues. Firstly, we had to request our bottle of wine 3-4 times before it was finally served. Secondly, while the appetizers were delicious, our main courses did not arrive until approximately two hours after we had placed the order. During this time, we received no updates from the staff, despite repeatedly inquiring about the status of our meals and being assured that they would arrive shortly, which they did not. Ultimately, we had to cancel our main courses and leave around midnight to dine elsewhere. Although the manager offered us a round of free beer and some complimentary waters, this did not compensate for the overall disappointing experience. This level of service is not what we have come to expect from a restaurant of this standard. Overall, it was far from the best experience we have had.

Detailed Review We visited a restaurant located next to our hotel. Although the restaurant presents itself as French, the menu included a variety of dishes, not necessarily French. The interior was refined and romantic, with white tablecloths and flowers. However, some tables were placed too closely together. **Starters**: Burrata with tomatoes and asparagus salad with champagne sauce. The salad was enjoyed, but the burrata was disappointing: the tomatoes had a medicinal taste. **Bread**: We were given a small amount of bread, which was strange for a restaurant of this level. There were also no complimentary appetizers before the main courses. **Wine**: The menu had over 400 options. The first glass of German red wine was unsuccessful and we were not given a chance to taste it beforehand. The second wine was better, but the rosé champagne had a strong alcohol taste. **Main Courses**: - Mussels in white wine: Small, with no spicy sauce, they smelled of silt and were difficult to eat. No napkins or hand wash were provided. - Steak with mashed potatoes and salad: Tasty and cooked to the right degree. However, the "sauce" was actually a set of separate ingredients, like for sushi, which was not indicated on the menu. **Service**: Initially, we received a lot of attention, but later we were forgotten, and we waited 20 minutes for the bill. The waiters did not clean the dirty tablecloth or crumbs, which was unpleasant. Additionally, we were not offered any complimentary items at the end of the meal, such as a shot of digestivo or espresso, which is usually expected in restaurants of this level. **Dessert**: The chocolate fondant with vanilla ice cream and fresh strawberries was exquisite. The espresso was also very good. **Additional**: There were flies in the glass of water. And no reaction from the staff. In the end, the cost of the visit, over 200 euros, did not match the quality of the service and dishes.

We were celebrating our NY party in here and it was awesome!!! So lovely, soooo carrying stuff. But I think it’s better to eat before coming. As the restaurant, portions were also French 😂 Too small for this price. But it was tasty, I still wanna come back.

While the food was good and the recommended wines also went well with the meal, the service was unfortunately anything but satisfactory. When asked about the lack of service, excuses were sought rather than acting in a solution- and customer-oriented manner. Therefore, the restaurant will not be remembered fondly, even though the food was better than the service.

Enjoyed the breakfast here as part of hotel stay. Great quality food, wide selection, and appreciate the weekend special Belgium Waffles and Salmon.

Cosmo meets fine dining. Very nice restaurant. You don't feel cramped, just like you're in a large living room. The reception and the people are very friendly. It's a steak restaurant so it's clear what the focus is. There is a large selection of different cuts. Since the focus here is on serving for sharing, one of the large steaks is definitely worth considering. We decided on 2 individual ones. Roast beef and skirt cut. Both seem a bit small but are sufficient. We had 2 starters, 2 steaks, a side dish and sauce, a bottle of water and wine and 2 desserts with espresso. You quickly end up at 220 EUR. The service is a bit uncoordinated or not up to par. The wine list was only offered later when we had already had the starter. This again came very quickly. Plates were brought late. Everyone is very nice, you can tell that the majority are still new to the job and are clumsy. The two main waiters are good. It's not the end of the world, given the price and demands I have to say it's not enough. It's best not to take advantage of the service here and it should feel like it's all of a piece.

Tolles Ambiente. Essen war mehr oder weniger ok; teilweise nicht so gut. Vichy-Karotten waren viel zu fest und mit zu grober Petersilie; der Steinbutt war leider trocken gegrillt; die Pommes Frites waren kalt und nicht mehr knusprig. Der Service war durchwachsen: Unser Kellner war wirklich super und kümmerte sich ganz reizend um alles. Das war wirklich hervorragend. Die Dame, die immer abgetischt hatte, war nicht sehr freundlich und hatte riesige lange Fingernägel, mit denen sie total unbeholfen die Teller angefasst hatte. Das sah auch nicht sehr hygienisch aus. Ich weiß auch nicht, ob ein Kellner tatsächlich ein Crop-Top tragen muss.

I had dinner with two friends, the Luma steak and the beef fillet, the best thing was the prawns, great service from Eddy and Terence, very professional and friendly. Rarely found these days.

Great food, super tasty steaks, great service from Eddy and his team who are always there when you need them. Afterwards you can continue enjoy great house music in the bar French Bento next to the restaurant if you are feeling like it.

Bestellung teils vergessen, mehrere Speisen extrem versalzen und ungenießbar

Unfortunately, price and performance do not match. We dined with 6 people one evening just before Christmas. The atmosphere is very pleasant, nice lighting, very comfortable armchairs. To start we ordered oysters and a bottle of Bollinger Champagne. Nothing to complain about, however, after pouring the bottle into a cooler, it was placed well away from the table and then our waiter disappeared for at least 20 minutes, we were also completely ignored by others, so no refills were given. Gaffe. Starters ceviche, tartare very good, Cesar salad at best ok. For the main course we had the goose, which was completely tough, the skin wasn't crispy, we've never eaten such a bad goose at a very ambitious price, or only half eaten it. Three beef fillets from the Vogelsberg, very well fried, very tasty. First, the entrecôte from the USA, almost inedibly tough (64 euros without side dishes). The sole in nut butter was ok. Surprisingly there was salsify as a side dish, which was very good. Otherwise, the side dishes were problematic: completely over-salted spinach leaves, over-salted French fries and over-salted sweet potato fries. The mashed potatoes with Belper Knolle were good. With our meal we had a red wine for around 140 euros per bottle, which was opened and served straight away - it would certainly have had a lot more aroma if it had been decanted. Since the portions are really big, we skipped desserts. Conclusion: Ambience really nice, service good, a bit too friendly for us, food 2.5 stars. All in all: For around 1,000 euros for 6 people, there are many places in Frankfurt where you can eat much better.

We were guests on December 24th, 2023 in the evening and were extremely satisfied. The service staff, who came from Saarland, were particularly excellent and are a very good calling card for this restaurant. He knows how to pamper his guests and shows a lot of empathy and skills. Excellent and always happy.

We had a course menu on a Christmas lunch. Every dish was very fresh and delicious, especially salty salmon and mutton. The service was exceptional, I've been missing it in Germany! Food was ok, I had the wagyu a la chef and risotto. Service was not good. I had to ask for the drinks menu. Waiter didn’t make any recommendations on the food menu, I had to force him to do it. Waiter didn’t offer any dessert menu, so I did not order any. Waiter was ignoring my table, had to call his attention to get the check.

Tolles entschleunigtes Ambiente. Der Restaurant Manager eddy ist eine sehr freundliche, liebenswürdige und gesprächige Person und schafft es gekonnt mit dem ganzen Personal eine angenehme familiäre Atmosphäre zu schaffen. Das Essen und die Getränke waren sehr gut. Alles in allem: High cuisine Küche ohne schicki-micki Attitüde.

Eher hochpreisig, was aber durch die hohe Qualität gerechtfertigt ist. Die Weinkarte bietet nur wenig Auswahl deutlich unter € 100 pro Flasche und könnte ein erweitertes Angebot unterhalb dieser Preisschwelle gut vertragen.

Wir waren Freitagabend spätabends gegen 21:30 Uhr dort zu zweit zum Dinner und hatten daher noch einen guten und ruhigeren Platz bekommen, wobei manche Plätze nahe am Eingang sind und es dort etwas zieht, zudem ist da viel Umtrieb. Wir haben lange auf den Service warten müssen bis er unsere Bestellung annahm. Jedoch kam dann das Essen sehr schnell. Ich hatte eine Burrata bestellt und meine Begleitperson ein Rindertatar plus ein Rinderfilet. Uns hat das Essen beiden sehr gemundet, insbesondere war das Rinderfilet ausgezeichnet vom Geschmack und Aroma, einfach erstklassig! Ich habe schon lange kein so gutes Fleisch mehr gegessen wie eben an diesem Abend. Preislich sind die Gerichte gehoben, aber nicht überteuert. Am Ende zahlten wir ca. 40 EUR pro Person mit Getränken (eine Flasche Wasser, kein Alkohol oder sonstiges). Die Bedienung war freundlich. W-Lan gab es frei verfügbar mit Passwort. Parken konnte man in der Neckarstraße an der Seite. Neben an ist die Bento Bar, wo man danach noch hinkann. Jedoch ist es dort sehr laut und voll.

Das beste Steakhouse der Stadt. Kann man nicht anders sagen. Ich habe es mir vor einigen Jahren mit einer Gruppe Freunden zur Aufgabe gemacht, jedes Steakhouse in Frankfurt zu testen und das mehrfach, um fair zu bleiben. Hier stimmt einfach alles. Steaks, Vorspeisen und Nachspeisen sind ein Traum. Die Austern ohne Frage die besten in Frankfurt. Ich habe mich mit jedem Bissen an den Hafen Marseilles zurückversetzt gefühlt. Der Service ist ebenfalls unfassbar gut. Nett, zuvorkommend und sehr aufmerksam. Sollte mal etwas nicht ganz passen, wird sofort darauf reagiert. Auch wenn es mal etwas dauert, wird sich selbstverständlich entschuldigt. Die Kellner sind bereits top. Die Restaurantleiter heben alles aber nochmal auf ein ganz anderes Level. Auch das Ambiente ist stilvoll und sehr passend eingerichtet. Ich kann das Restaurant jedem empfehlen und werbe auch bei Bekannten sehr dafür.

Came for a quick business dinner during the week. The building is marvellous and the interior cosy chic. Freshness and quality of the ingredients is flawless but I haven’t been impressed from the overall taste of the ceviche as starter. The main course steak was exquisite and also the wine recommendations were good. The service was a bit disappointing. While the staff is friendly it wasn’t attentive. I would give it another try but more for a romantic or family dinner and then go for the nice Kaviar and oyster selection.

Verstehe nicht, warum im Petit Royale mittags nicht mehr los ist. Fantastisches Essen, freundliche und charmante Bedienung, es macht einfach Spaß.

Wunderbares Restaurant mit feiner aber gemütlicher Atmosphäre und super aufmerksamer Service. Wir hatten Steak und Wienerschnitzel und beides war gut. Das Restaurant ist auch perfekt geeignet für Geschäftsessen mittags, weil nicht ganz so laut. Die Preise sind auch absolut fair. Wir kommen ab jetzt öfters.

Eine durchwachsene Erfahrung im Le Petit Royal Frankfurt. Wir haben das Restaurant für einen Business-Lunch ausprobiert und waren von der leichten Besetzung des Restaurants überrascht - nur vier Tische waren besetzt. Man könnte annehmen, dass dies für einen aufmerksamen Service sorgen würde, aber leider wurden unsere Erwartungen nicht erfüllt. Die Speisekarte präsentierte sich als solide, wenn auch etwas fleischlastig. Wir wählten Ceviche als Vorspeise und Filet Mignon als Hauptgericht. Die Ceviche war geschmacklich etwas enttäuschend, da ihr die erwartete peruanische Schärfe fehlte. Das Filet Mignon hingegen war exquisit zubereitet und überzeugte geschmacklich. Das wirkliche Manko lag im Service. Für ein Restaurant im höheren Preissegment waren wir enttäuscht über den Mangel an Etikette und offensichtlicher Unkenntnis der eignen Karte. Die Hauptgerichte wurden serviert, bevor frische Teller bereitstanden. Es wurde nicht darauf geachtet, ob unsere Gläser leer waren, und das Anrichten der Speisen wirkte wenig professionell. Trotz dieser Schwächen war unser Besuch akzeptabel, jedoch reicht die Erfahrung nicht aus, um das Le Petit Royal Frankfurt zu einem Ort zu machen, den wir in Naher Zukunft erneut besuchen würden.

An sich ein schönes Lokal, das Essen war hervorragend (Steaks sind ein Genuss, und auch Desserts waren ein Traum) und die Bedienung nett und vorkommend, die hatten auch viel zu tun wg. der Buchmesse. Mankos: zu heiß, es hat etwas länger gedauert wenn man was angefragt hat (Karte, Wein, Rechnung), die Hostess war etwas verpeilt und hat unsere Bitten nicht weitergegeben:( an sich sehr hübsch, aber unklar was sie da genau gemacht hat. Also mussten wir alles erneut anfragen. An sich alles stimmig, und die Kellner waren sehr bemüht, drei Personen waren aber für den Abend zu wenig. In so einem Restaurant müssen alle an einem Strang ziehen, letztendlich ist es kein McDonald's wo jeder in seine Richtung läuft.

Sorry, das kann ich leider nicht empfehlen. Essen teils sehr gut, teils nicht gut, Tisch mit Bänken sehr eng, Tiefpunkt war eine Schlägerei in der zugehörigen Bar. Der uns gewährte Preisnachlass war angemessen.

Alles Top Super Speisen und guter freundlicher Service well done

Wir waren auf Empfehlung dort und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Das Petit Royal ist äußerlich fast schon unscheinbar, weniger pompös als andere gute Lokalitäten in Frankfurt, was mir durchaus zusagt, da sich hinter einem pompösen Erscheinungsbild häufig weniger guter Service versteckt. Der Empfang ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, innen sieht es sehr schön aus, die Atmosphäre ist ruhig, das Ambiente gehoben. Der Service ist ebenso dementsprechend top, man konnte und zwischenzeitlich sehr gut assistieren, auch was Weine anging hatte man einen top Sommelier an der Seite. Wir haben uns ein wenig durch die Vorspeise probiert und waren begeistert. Die Sylter Austern sind sehr zu empfehlen, ebenso die Wagyu Gyoza. Die Hauptgänge, standesgemäß Steaks, waren top und genauso gegart, wie gewünscht. Die Trüffelpommes waren ebenso sehr lecker. Auch die Nachspeisen wussten zu überzeugen. Die Preise sind dem Service angemessen, allerdings natürlich am oberen Ende, das sollte einem bewusst sein. Allerdings muss man bedenken, dass gutes Fleisch eben Geld kostet, ebenso hochwertiges Ambiente und fähiges Personal. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen und geschmeckt und wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Wenn man gutes Steak zu schätzen weiß, sollte man das Petit Royal auf jeden Fall besucht haben.

Ideal für Businesslunch. Menü war genau richtig “portioniert” und leicht (bei der Wärme ideal). Restaurant nicht überfüllt. Hervorragend für geschäftlichen Austausch. Service sehr schnell und aufmerksam.

Ein wirkliches tolles Restaurant in Frankfurt in dem Gastfreundlichkeit noch groß geschrieben wird!! Die Speisekarte offeriert hochwertige Speisen und die Erwartungen werden mehr als erfüllt! Die Fleischqualität und die Zubereitung (Gar-Punkt, Würzung, etc.) sind exzellent! Ich kenne kein vergleichbares Restaurant in dem alle Speisen so perfekt zubereitet sind - egal ob Jakobsmuscheln mit Kaviar oder ein Wagyu Steak! TOP! Wirklich perfekt macht den Aufenthalt aber das Team vor Ort! Der Service ist super freundlich, charmant und zugleich super professionell!! Wein Empfehlung Top!, zwischendurch ein spritziger Sake Limetten Shot aufs Haus und immer freundlich und gut gelaunt… sowas findet man nach Corona leider selten und genau dass macht für mich einen perfekten Restaurant-Aufenthalt wirklich aus. My family and I enjoyed an excellent dinner here. We made a reservation easily online and all the staff were incredibly courteous and professional. The interior atmosphere is lovely and the details from the utensils to the pacing of the courses were all appreciated. Out of all the things we tried, I'd highly recommend their wagyu steak, burrata with garlic pesto and hazelnuts, steak tartare, dirty martini, and crêpes suzette. The fennel salad and ceviche weren't worth reordering. A big thank you again to the lovely staff and manager for accomodating us so well! :)
