The Dönerdelphia is a real treat

We ordered today and the drinks weren't in the bag. When I mentioned it on the phone, the guy on the phone acted like it was my problem. He then said I'd get free drinks with my next order, which is why I asked how they were going to remember my name, whether it was written down somewhere or something. The man on the phone had no idea at all and said I would have to wait for the manager. If you decide to deliver, then there should be a plan B if the delivery doesn't arrive in full for the customer, after all, you paid for it. The food wasn't really any better. The meat from the Dönerdelphia was completely dry and in big cold lumps, as if it had just been warmed up from the day before. I wouldn't order again under any circumstances.

The Dönerdelphia was truly delicious, with fresh bread and juicy meat. The sauces were delicious, and the portions were generous. The service was very friendly, and the place was very clean. I'll be back!

Even then, it was clear: There's passion behind it – and today, on Berger Straße, that's only confirmed. The boss is as always: super friendly, personable, takes time for his guests, and makes you feel welcome every time. That's exactly what sets him apart from many other shops. And then the food: Here, you don't just get "a doner kebab," but several modern interpretations that reinvent the classic. Delphia – juicy meat, crunchy vegetables, perfectly nestled in a long, crispy-soft bun that wonderfully carries the flavor. Börga – the name says it all: a burger meets doner kebab, with a juicy patty, fresh ingredients, and this incredibly creamy cheese sauce that you have to try. Dilla – a quesadilla with a kebab flavor, slightly spicy, with melted cheese and perfectly balanced spices. Toast – hearty, crispy kebab toast, filled with meat, onions, and spicy sauce – perfect for a quick snack. Each variety has its own character, yet you can tell with all of them: The ingredients are fresh, high-quality, and lovingly prepared. The cheese sauce is my personal highlight – creamy, spicy, and simply perfect, whether in a Börga (a burger) or as a dip for the crispy potato wedges. Conclusion: For me, Dönaladn is not just a kebab shop, but a place that demonstrates how diverse and modern kebabs can be today. Anyone who has eaten here once understands why I have been loyal to the shop for over a decade – and will continue to be.

I find this disrespectful and unprofessional. I am disappointed with the way my complaint was handled. I simply pointed out that instead of the two Coke Zeros I ordered, only one Fritz Cola was delivered. Over the phone, I was initially confirmed that Coke Zero was unavailable – but later it was suggested that I had lied, and yet I received the two Cokes, but I can't prove it. I think it's a shame that honest feedback is reacted to with such little trust. Respectful customer service looks different. UNFORTUNATELY!!!!

I had a doner kebab on toast with chili cheese dipping sauce, which I can't complain about. It was a really good meal, and to wash it down, I had a delicious peach iced tea from Elephant Bay. It's good value for money; I'll be back.

I was very disappointed with my visit. I didn't like the kebab at all – the sauce was watery and tasteless, the meat was dry, and the ingredients didn't seem fresh. Overall, the food was unfortunately inedible. I had expected much more. I won't be eating here again.

We just ate there and are very pleased with our stay and the hospitality. A very friendly team who prepares the food with love. The long drive was definitely worth it, and this won't be the last time we've been here. Thanks to the gentleman at the cashier for the kind gesture on the house.

I was very surprised that it was so delicious. I thought it would be dry, but it wasn't at all. It was very juicy, fresh, and high quality. We had the Philadelphia, the Winna Winna Chicken Dinna, and once the Smash Burger. The Philadelphia was really delicious. The bread was very large and very filling. The sauces were very, very tasty, especially the cheese sauce, in my opinion (9.5/10). The Winna Winna Chicken Dinna is a bowl with fries, cheese sauce, and chicken. The bowl was also very tasty. The fries were perfect, crispy but also soft. With the crispy chicken and the cheese sauce, it was a dream. I give it a (9.2/10). And to finish off, there was a Smash Börga. I was also surprised that Dönaladn can really do almost anything. The Smash Börga was very well made; you can taste everything that was in it, so it gets a (9/10). I would go here again if I'm in the area. The price/performance ratio is very good, as is the food. Definitely worth recommending.

The special sauce from the owner himself was very tasty, but the logo that you can see in the photo disgusted me a bit.

The Dönadelphia was top-notch. Something different from the usual kebab. I've been there twice and eaten there. I can highly recommend it. Finding a parking space is like playing the lottery.

We were here today and it was delicious! The service was super friendly and we felt at home. I can recommend it to anyone looking for good food. Since I don't like spicy food, the gentleman even let us try the chili cheese sauce beforehand.

We discovered Dönaladn through social media and were not disappointed! The owner was incredibly friendly. He immediately noticed that we were there with a baby and found us a table despite the crowd. The food arrived very quickly and freshly. The taste of the doner is more like a delicious sandwich – something different, but really good! The portions are huge: We shared a meal between two people and were more than satisfied. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality!

Philly vibes in kebab style, really nice! This designer kebab is something completely different and brings real Philly cheese steak flavors to your hand. Far from the standard kebab, it delivers plenty of flavor and offers a huge change. The meat is laced with cheese, and topped with a generous portion of cheese sauce, it's a real hit! And the fluffy, sesame-packed bread rounds it all off perfectly. If you're tired of the typical kebab or steak kebab, you should definitely try this one. It's worth it!

We drove almost 300 km because we saw Holle21614's YouTube video and have wanted to go here for over 4 weeks. As he says in his video: you get what you expect. Good, but really nothing special. Had burgers, kebabs and toast... overall everything tasted like cheese. You can definitely try it.

We find the combination of crispy veal from a kebab skewer mixed with cheese on a citizen roll very tasty. There are many different variations, all very powerful and filling. The side salad is boring. Unfortunately there is no alcohol.

For me it's more of a sandwich, far away from kebab. Still tasty. The portions are generous.

The food at Dönaladn is really fresh – you can taste it straight away! Not only is the bread really good, the sauces, fries and meat are also particularly tasty and stand out from other shops. You can tell that a lot of emphasis is placed on quality and taste here. What I also really like: There are cartoon characters with interesting sayings painted on the walls. Every time I discover new characters and read through the sayings - that makes the visit even more special. Absolutely recommended!

The store has potential but a few things could be improved. The food was okay even if I wasn't entirely impressed. The service is rather reserved - you have to look after yourself a bit. Overall, a solid visit, but for me there is still room for improvement.

It was really great! We came from Munich and were in the city for a day. We thought it was just a trend, but the taste was really great! Great value for money. Can really recommend it. We were there for Iftar and thought it was really nice that the employees handed out dates and soup. Despite an extremely busy store, everyone was very polite. We're happy to support you.

The taste is truly excellent. Reminiscent of a Berlin doner kebab. The bread is a bit too dry.

I visited this kebab shop hoping to get a good meal, but was sorely disappointed. The kebab tasted disgusting, the meat seemed to be of poor quality, fatty and had an unpleasant aftertaste. The oil used here seems to be the cheapest of the cheap, which you can clearly taste. The staff is friendly and okay, but that doesn't change the fact that the store overall doesn't make a good impression. There are far too few seats, so you either have to squeeze in somewhere or eat the kebab while standing. In addition, the entire concept seems desperately designed to leave a good impression, which however fails completely. Overall a disappointing experience and I certainly won't eat here again.

OMG that was awesome!! Abdi introduced me to the Dönaladn world and what can I say - after the Döner Delphia as the big one and the Törke, Winna Winna Chicken Dinna as a side dish and the matching drinks, I was blown away 🤩 And of course completely full 😅 Really tasty, great portions and of course most importantly - really great sauces 👌🏼 Even the long waiting times in the evening are worth it!

Outrageous. According to the opening times stated, the store should actually be open until 10 p.m. After hours of driving there, I was told at 8:45 p.m. that they had already packed everything up and couldn't make any more kebabs.

Today I was here for the first time with my husband and our children. The food is really delicious and worth every penny. A big thank you to the friendly staff member who brought us ice cubes because our little daughter fell and injured herself. The service here is first class, there is nothing to complain about. We will definitely come back!

A really good kebab shop with special creations! We tried the Delpfia kebab and the toast kebab with cheese sauce. The meat was tasty and well seasoned. The currywurst was OK, but nothing special. The cheese sauce could have been a little thicker, but the taste was good. Overall a nice experience with friendly service.

Had menu no. 5 for 20€. Optics are great. Feel great. But the taste... The first bite of the sandwich and its aroma reminded me of cat food. Afterwards there was rum with flavor. This sandwich tastes as indefinable as the store smells when you walk in. Chilli cheese sandwich. But the cheese is liquid, brutally artificial. Reminded me of sandwich maker, but without taste, without aromas. The world is really ending. Something like this for sale for €20. The cheeseburger was worse than homemade. Ketchup mustard 2 petties and ciao. That's it. Without love. In short, I'll never go there again. The next time the place doesn't even smell like the food, you can't even define it, I'll walk right out.

Stopped by by chance and decided on the kebab. You can't say anything about the ambience. However, it starts with having to wait 30 minutes for a kebab. Which is definitely way too long for a kebab. In addition, there are not enough seats for the time you wait. Doner was very dry and the sauces were nothing special in themselves edible but not worth repeating.

It is the best kebab shop far and wide. I drive an extra 35 km here to eat here. The service is also indescribably nice, attentive and very polite.

Really a man of honor because all the people are hospitable, they gave us a lot for free because we had some disagreements as an apology, we felt like we were paid twice and they were so good at eating, you get full to no end, I come there every time, best shop ❤️❤️

Very big classc Döner, and quality was good. The variations of the classic were pretty good too. Only downside was that it too quite a long time for the food to come.

The shop was previously in Bockenheim. Then one day he disappeared. The cheese sauce was always very tasty and the doner toast.

Amazing place! It’s not a classic doner but even better. I had dona delphia and their fresh buns are to die for. Chili cheese sauce is a cherry on the top. The price is good, the team is friendly and we didn’t wait long. The interior is also really cool and everything is clean. Definitely would recommend, 5/5

Really liked this place, the food was very good and the stuff friendly. We didn't wait too long for the food and the quality-price ratio was really good. Not a classic doner but the chilli cheese sauce was amazing. We had the dona delphia.

Real trap food. A must for everyone who likes hip-hop and good food. The ambience is harmonious with graffiti and lots of old school hip-hop. The sellers operate on a brotherly basis and fulfill special requests with a smile. The Philly cheese steak sandwich is authentic and very large. The Currywurst sausage is high quality and has hardly any fat content (very meaty). Fries are extremely crispy but not salted. You can add more salt ;) All in all, baba.

The tastiest and juiciest kebab of my life. The portion was huge and the price was worth it. The kebab is topped with lots of juicy meat and tastes really good. The fries are also very tasty, well seasoned and crispy. The bread itself has a strong taste thanks to the sesame seeds. Personally, I would recommend the homemade kebab, the Delphia kebab, because, as already mentioned, it was super good! The store is definitely worth a visit!!

I ate two burgers. Both were fine, pretty dry in my opinion. There are much better ones in the surrounding area. I wouldn't come here again to eat a burger.

I've never had so little lettuce on a kebab before.

In general everything was ok, but i cannot say it was good or wow. I found meat in Delphia very fat in combination with cheese. I also missed something fresh inside like for example fresh onion, more salad, tomato or cucumber. Fries were very average. There is definitely room for improvement.

I've eaten the Smash Burger and dönadelphia and have never seen such bad bread on a burger. Hard and tasteless and strange smell. The kebab was something new but the burger didn't work at all. After I pointed this out to the staff, they told me it was normal and was fried until crispy... So let yourself be convinced and enjoy your meal.

A more modern way to enjoy the conventional Döner. Apart from the sauce that tends to overload, the Döner Delphia is s good option when you want an easy and quick grab around Berger Str.

You don't necessarily have to go there now. The food didn't really impress me. You can try it but won't visit it again.
