Good day, I would like to ask those responsible to pay attention to my concern - not in my own interest, but in the interest of the restaurant, because it really is a beautiful place. Here's what happened: A friend and I went there to have coffee. I ordered a decaf coffee. The waiter walked up to the barista at the coffee machine, talked to him, and I saw them whispering and laughing. After a long wait, the waiter brought us coffee. I asked him again if the coffee was really decaf and he smiled and said yes. However, I now discovered that the coffee was not decaffeinated. This could be an indication that there is not enough attention to the work and the customers. What has happened has happened, but I ask those responsible to take such things into account in the future, because it is a beautiful and upscale restaurant and such incidents simply do not fit with it.

We came here for good food with comfy atmosphere. However to me the distance between tables was too narrow, a loud neighbor could bring some noise. Indoor seats provided only limited city view. Food was made nicely but for the price there are better restaurants.

Francesco is very attentive. He gives excellent advice and always has a nice, funny word on his lips.

Stjepan was a huge part of our delightful experience! Fabulous wine pairing and 2 person tasting menu. Great views. Maybe get here only 15 mins before sunset in August to avoid the greenhouse effect of the views, a bit warm. We can’t wait to come back and visit Stjepan for another special occasion meal.:)

Excellent all round experience. We visited for the first time to celebrate my partners birthday and the waiters , especially Samin and the gentleman that seated us on arrival were exceptional. Samin took the time to get to know our preferences and proceeded to advise on the best items to order from the menu. The food quality , presentation and flavour pairings were impeccable. Thank you to the Occhio Team. You made my partners (who is Italian) birthday a night to remember. We will be back soon!

Sensational location above the roofs of the city, very tastefully decorated, invites you to delicious food or just a drink on the roof terrace, even without a reservation, at reasonable prices, with extremely friendly service; vs. the Helaba Tower is clearly the better choice.

Giuseppe is the best of waiters. Very good food, we took the 3-course menu with combined wine (tuna was not very "Tuscan" although it was delicious)! Clean bathroom and top service. Breathtaking view from the terrace.

The place is located in a very nice hotel and has a breathtaking cityscape. The food is very good and the price is consistent with the quality of the dishes. The service is very efficient and the staff very friendly and helpful. Among all, Francesco (see photo) stood out, a waiter who was not only professional but also very nice and who made our dinner very pleasant and fun. I chose the four-course menu and left the restaurant full and satisfied.

The food was sensational and the service from Giuseppe was absolutely outstanding and Samim was a great support.

Magnificent location, with a view of the skyscrapers and the breathtaking old city. The kitchen offers a 4-course menu for 79 euros, in my opinion an excellent quality-price ratio. Alternatively, you can also choose the 3-course one for 69 euros or à la carte. The best part of the dinner was not the excellent food or the spectacular view as one might imagine, but rather the professionalism of the employees, in particular of Mr. Francesco, who stood out for his friendliness among all the staff. To repeat!

Beautiful view, phenomenal service and such good food and wine. My thoughts on olive oil have been changed forever - especially with the vanilla ice-cream... blew my mind!

I am a writer from Barcelona who lives in Iceland. We are on vacation in Frankfurt and we went to this sophisticated Italian restaurant with spectacular views. It is elegant, clean and classy. The menu is short, the meats stand out, including the tartare. The burrata was too liquid for my taste. Wine prices are very high. However, they recommended an excellent Barbera d’Alba. Good service. We dined inside and had cocktails outside. I recommend it for a special night. It was my son's birthday and we had a great time, which is what counts.

Great atmosphere and amazing views to the city.

The food tasted really good, but the prices are high and the service at our place was poor: in contrast to the tables around us, we were treated significantly worse by the service. It's a shame, such a high-priced restaurant with such good food should work on it. It was my friend's birthday and he stated this when he made the reservation, but there was no mention of it in the restaurant, not even a congratulation when allocating a seat. The water was not poured for us, the guests at all other tables were given the water without being asked. Our bread wasn't refilled, but at the other tables it was refilled without being asked. At another table a guest received a small gift for his birthday, but we received nothing. The service wanted to take the uneaten meal away from my friend while she was still eating. I don't know why that was, but I hope it had nothing to do with nationality (my companions look Asian). The ambience is rather dated, the seats are very uncomfortable, the ventilation or air conditioning was only switched on very late despite the warm temperatures. We definitely expected something different from an establishment like this.

The food was scrumptious. My husband made the reservation for my birthday and the experience was memorable. The waitress was helpful and providing guidance for offering. A tip: just go for the unlimited water and bread with olives/ tomatoes. 😋😋😋 It was most delicious and cheap! Apart from that we ordered spaghetti and some cabbage with walnuts thing believe me it was yummy. All the dishes were prepared with great effort. Worth the money. The view at night was incredible 😍😍😍 Go around the end of office hours so that you can see some lights in the buildings as late night most would turn off. Worth a visit atleast once!!

Spaghetti vongole waren sandig und es befand sich ein draht in den Nudeln, wurde ausgetauscht, allerdings leidet die Person seit nach dem Essen unter übelkeit. Irgend etwas war nicht in Ordnung. alkoholfreier prosecco wurde bestellt, aber nicht serviert, ging vergessen. Wahrschein war er aber auf der Rechnung, das habe ich noch nicht gecheckt.

Ein rundum gelungener Abend mit einem abwechslungsreichen 4 Gänge Menü und dazu passenden Weinen. Der Keller war extrem aufmerksam und hat uns jeden Wunsch von den Lippen abgelesen. Die Auswahl der Weine war exzellent. Jederzeit wieder und der Besuch hat sich sehr gelohnt.

Die Lage und die dazugehörige Aussicht top. Pro Person werden 6 € Coperto berechnet. Dafür gibt es Brot, Olivenöl und Wasser. Die Preise sind schon sehr weit oben angesiedelt. Die Qualität der Speisen ist zwar top, ein wenig größer dürften die Portionen bei diesen Preisen jedoch schon sein. Zu unserem Besuch war die Terrasse sehr voll. Die Bedienung schien daher sehr im Streß und hätte aufmerksamer sein dürfen. Kurzum: Lage top. Qualität und Geschmack top. Preise für die Größe der Gerichte etwas zu hoch. Wer viel Geld ausgeben und nicht übersättigt nach Hause gehen möchte ist hier bestens aufgehoben.

We were here for Sunday brunch (The Iconic Brunch). First of all, the ambience and the view are very nice. Overall, however, the brunch didn't entirely convince us. At the beginning we were led to our table, which was already set with a small table buffet. However, nothing happened after that. The waitress who led us to the table did not explain the system or the food on the table to us, nor were we asked if we wanted drinks. It was only after about 10 minutes that another service worker came who explained the procedure, but the food was still not on the table. Regarding the drinks, the only thing that was noted was that we would receive a mimosa straight away and we could either get coffee ourselves from the coffee machine or, if the barista had time, order it. At a price of €70, I actually expected drink service at the table. We got our mimosa and soon saw a waiter at the next table serving cappuccino. We then ordered two cappuccinos and were told that we could also get coffee from the machine. We almost had to insist on getting a barista cafe. Unfortunately this service experience continued. For the main course, meat was served at the table in addition to the buffet. When asked what kind of meat it was, the service staff couldn't give a clear answer. The food overall was good, but the selection of main courses was very limited, while the selection of desserts was very large. Unfortunately, for the price, I find the selection, quality and especially the service unconvincing.

Service auf Deutsch in Ordnung, auf Englisch mangelhaft bis ungenügend, was sehr unangenehm auf Nachbartische abgestrahlt hat. Essen gut (Burratina exzellent, Osso Bucco und Wolfsbarsch gut), Cocktails sehr gut. unangenehm waren auch die sehr kurz angebunden Beratungsgespräche der Bedienung mit den Nachbartischen, als gefühlt die Hälfte des Menüs ab 20:30uhr nicht mehr verfügbar waren. Keine uneingeschränkte Empfehlung möglich

Horrible service. Complete velvet rope theory restaurant. We sat for 45 minutes with no acknowledgment of our presence after ordering our first drink. There is a fantastic rooftop view, but that's about all.

We had a wonderful evening. Everything is right here! A table on the terrace with a view of the skyline is of course argument enough. But the food is also at a star level. Tip: Even in Italy, I've never had such good tiramisu (!).

Es war ein genussvoller und sehr schöner Abend. Die Karte ist fein und die Speisen und Getränke sowie der Service hervorragend. Nur für Kinder ist es etwas schwierig, etwas ansprechendes zu finden. Gewählt wurde dann aus den Beilagen. Es wäre ansprechender gewesen, diese auf einem Teller anzurichten. Ansonsten perfekt und gerne kommen wir wieder.

Yesterday we wanted to celebrate a birthday in a fine restaurant. We started with a bad Prosecco. There were four of us. We ordered fish twice and chicken twice. After a long wait, the fish were served and instead of chicken we were served pork twice. We sent the pig back and received our undercooked, partially bloody chicken. This can be life-threatening. We also sent the chickens back. The second time the chicken was still bloody inside, to which the waiter said a little blood is normal. Chicken isn't beef! 3 of us had upset stomachs afterwards and the next day. To top off the evening, the coffees were cold and thin. But by then we were already tired of sending things back. The 3 roses at the expense of the house couldn't save the evening either. The price/performance ratio is definitely not right. It's a real shame for such a beautiful restaurant with a wonderful view.

War ein super schöner Abend. Die Bedingung war sehr freundlich und verfügbar ohne lästig zu sein. Das Restaurant ist sehr hübsch mit schöner Aussicht. Das Essen war sehr lecker und mithilfe der freundlichen Bedienung haben wir ein super leckeres 3-Gänge Menü genossen. Das Dessert war auch super lecker

The food was very average, overpriced and definitely not worth it. Far from the claimed italian cuisine. However, nice location and view to the city.

Fantastic view of the skyline, unfortunately the drinks are very expensive. Attentive service. The starter of veal carpaccio with bonito is exceptional and very tasty. We can also recommend the Iberico Carree.

Wir hatten ein geschäftliches, aber gleichzeitig auch leicht informelles Abendessen. Es war rund um ein sehr schöner Abend. Vier Sterne habe ich gegeben, da zum einen der Service sehr nett und zuvorkommend ist, freundlich, nicht arrogant. (was in Frankfurt nicht selbstverständlich ist). Das Essen ist sehr schön angerichtet und großteils, was unsere Auswahl anging, auch sehr gut. Hervorzuheben sind die Cocktails, auch die alkoholfreien, ganz besonders der mit roter Beete Anteil. Wirklich sehr gut und wunderschön fürs Auge. Warum der eine Stern zu fünf fehlte, war die Wahl meines Essens. Ich hatte den Pulpo ( knapp 40€), es waren zwei sehr kleine Tuben, die viel zu fest gegrillt oder gebraten waren, und daher für den Preis nicht angemessen. Des Weiteren hatten wir direkt den Tisch rechts neben dem Eingang, der Platz am KopfEnde ist eine glatte Zumutung, wenn die Tür offen ist, da ist permanent zieht und unglaublich kalt ist. Auch wenn man nicht besonders verfroren ist, ist dies leider nicht angenehm und mindert das Wohlgefühl. Hervorzuheben sind der Blick, die schöne, geschmackvolle Einrichtung, die Auswahl des Geschirrs. Ich würde auf jeden Fall wieder hingehen, mir einen anderen Tisch und ein anderes Gericht wählen.

Wir wurden sehr gut bedient. Der Service war super, sehr nette Bedienung. Wir haben das Menü genommen um uns überraschen zu lassen. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Große Portionen und die Gerichte hätten wir auch genommen. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Abend! Gerne wieder.

Was war dieser Abend eine schöne Überraschung!!! Spontan entschieden Essen zu gehen und glücklicherweise ich einen Slot bekommen. Fantastic combination of taste experiences in the four-course menu. Every single dish is explained in great detail when it is served. The manager of the house takes time for each individual guest and very charmingly gives the impression that you have been a regular customer for a long time. A top restaurant in a great location with a unique view of the skyline, not only for the “upper 10,000”, but also for the middle class if you want to treat yourself to something special.

Arrived on a Saturday evening without a reservation and still directly on the great terrace with an amazing view - great! Unfortunately, things only went downhill from there: Service? Can we even talk about something like that, we had to wait twenty minutes for our order to even be taken. The Aperol Sprizz that we had ordered arrived quickly, but was so bad in taste that we had to send it back, which again was hardly possible because... service? It was also impossible to order new drinks, so after 30 minutes with empty glasses on the table, we finally came to the terminal to pay in frustration. The waiter didn't care at all about our critical comment and our dissatisfaction was met with complete indifference. As a “thank you” we paid the almost outrageous price of 32(!!!) EURO for two (!) Aperol Sprizz. An evening to forget - probably our last at Occhio... :(

Der gebuchte Tisch war nicht bereit - inzwischen warteten wir auf der Terrasse (mit sehr schönem Ausblick) ziemlich lange auf unsere Getränke. Eine der Speisen war gar nicht so wie im Menü beschrieben. Das Essen war ansonsten sehr schmackhaft - der Service so-la-la - nicht sehr aufmerksam und etwas langsam. Die ganze Atmosphäre ist nicht das was die Webseite verspricht.
