Sehr leckeres Essen und insgesamt ein wirklich schöner Abend. Die Atmosphäre ist angenehm und unkompliziert, bei voller Auslastung wird es allerdings etwas lauter. Die eher schlicht gehaltene Einrichtung verleiht dem Restaurant einen besonderen Charme und passt gut zum Konzept. Der Service war freundlich, wirkte an manchen Stellen jedoch etwas überfordert. Das ist ausdrücklich konstruktiv gemeint, denn hier steckt noch Potenzial, das Gesamterlebnis weiter zu verbessern. Alles in allem ein tolles Restaurant mit sehr guter Küche, sympathischer Atmosphäre und definitiv eine Empfehlung für Frankfurt

Ich war mit einer Gruppe von Freunden, die Frankfurt besuchten, dort. Wir entschieden uns für das Menü des Küchenchefs, das eine Auswahl an kleineren und größeren Gerichten zum Teilen bietet. Das Essen war wirklich lecker und bot einige einzigartige Kombinationen – und die Teller waren sehr ansprechend angerichtet. Uns hat kein einziges Gericht nicht geschmeckt. Besonders gut gefielen uns die vielen vegetarischen (und veganen) Optionen, die es einfach machen, unterschiedliche Vorlieben zu berücksichtigen. Der Service war aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Auch die entspannte Atmosphäre hat uns gefallen.

Wir waren an einem lauen Freitagabend hier und hatten für 20 Uhr reserviert. Leider haben wir trotz Reservierung einen Tisch eher weiter hinten im Garten bekommen – nicht ideal, aber noch in Ordnung. Der Service war freundlich, wirkte jedoch etwas eingespannt, vermutlich durch zwei größere Tische. Dadurch blieb die Nachfrage nach weiteren Getränken etwas aus, und auch der Hauptgang kam mit etwa 22 Uhr recht spät und wurde schließlich innen serviert. Wir wissen aus früheren Besuchen, dass es auch anders gehen kann – daher vermutlich eher eine Ausnahme. Positiv hervorzuheben ist auf jeden Fall das Essen: optisch sehr schön angerichtet von Vorspeise mit Hauptgang, mit hochwertigen Zutaten und tollen Aromen – wirklich ein Highlight des Abends. Insgesamt ein schöner Abend mit kleinen Abstrichen beim Service, aber sehr überzeugender Küche.

Richtig tolles Restaurant in Frankfurt! Die Komplizen hat ein super kreatives Menü mit echt spannenden Kombinationen, die man so nicht überall bekommt. Besonders cool fand ich, dass viel mit saisonalen Produkten gearbeitet wird – alles frisch und total stimmig. Dazu kommt ein mega netter Service: aufmerksam, entspannt und einfach sympathisch. Man fühlt sich direkt wohl. Insgesamt echt ein besonderes Restaurant, das definitiv einen Besuch wert ist. Komme gerne wieder!

Das Brunch Konzept finde ich nicht sehr überzeugend. Vielleicht haben die Speisen zufällig nicht unseren Geschmack getroffen aber für 38€ pro Person als nicht variabler Festpreis haben uns leider die Gerichte nicht wirklich geschmeckt (wir fanden Alles etwas fade). Zudem sind 6,90€ für eine Flasche Wasser einfach zu viel, zumal dies nicht im Pauschalpreis inbegriffen ist und - soweit wir das erkennen konnten - so auch nicht auf der Karte gekennzeichnet war. Alles in Allem eher keine Empfehlung.

Sehr leckeres Essen und freundlicher Service

Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist wirklich grandios! Das Essen war total kreativ und insgesamt einfach nur lecker. Auch die veganen Optionen waren toll, wobei man sagen muss, dass dem Schnitzel (obwohl sehr crunchy!) etwas an Gewürz fehlte. Insgesamt eine super Erfahrung, wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen!

Wir waren neulich zu zweit zum ersten Mal da und liebten es! Absolute Empfehlung! Anders als andere "fine-dining" Läden war es hier extrem ungezwungen: ein lässiger, unaufdringlicher, aber trotzdem zuvorkommender Service. Das vegetarische Menü war deutlich günstiger als das mit Fleisch, was uns in anderen Restaurants oft negativ auffällt, wenn wir gebeten werden, gleich viel zu bezahlen. Die Gerichte waren sehr kreativ in der Zusammensetzung und es waren ein paar Dinge dabei, die wir so nicht gesehen hatten, obwohl wir weltweit viel kulinarisch unterwegs sind. Dazu ist der Hinterhof zum Draußensitzen ein Traum. Gerade im Sommer werden wir wiederkommen für die Ruhe, das Grüne und eine Abkühlung! Fantastisches Restaurant! Very out there, aber nicht pretentious :) Ständig wechselnde saisonale Menüs und eine tolle Getränkebegleitung. Einziger kleiner Punktabzug ist die einzuhaltende Nachtruhe im idyllischen Außenbereich.

Vorspeisen eine 10 von 10. Beratung und Bedienung ebenfalls eine 10 von 10. Sehr zu empfehlen. Danke für den schönen Abend.

Absolute Empfehlung! So ein wunderbares, besonderes und außergewöhnliches Lokal. Meine Frau uns ich saßen anlässlich ihres Geburtstages auf der Terrasse mit angenehmen Kiez-Hinterhof-Charme. Was da auf den Teller kam, was absolut der Hammer. Kleine, super feine Karte mit Gerichten, die so angenehm und ansprechend anders sind als in vielen sogenannten Szene-Läden. Total freundlicher, liebenswerter Service. Super sympathische Leute, vom Service bis zur Küche. Und ja - auch mit etwas "emotionalem Abstand" bleibe ich dabei: das war das beste Lammgericht, das ich je gegessen habe. Von uns: sechs von fünf Sternen!

Im berühmten Hinterhof des Nordends in der Egenolffstraße befindet sich das KOMPLIZEN, wo wir zu viert zum Abendessen verabredet waren. Uns wurde ein Tisch in einer Nische des ansonsten vollen Raumes angeboten, mit dem wir zunächst nicht einverstanden waren, da man von drei Seiten "eingemauert" ist. Aber ob des vollen Hauses haben wir dann natürlich doch akzeptiert. Man könnte natürlich aber auch für frühzeitige Reservierungen bessere Tische vormerken. Kleiner Tipp am Rande. Insgesamt stellte sich die Raum Situation nicht wirklich gemütlich und auch recht laut dar. Das Licht konnte mit einer Handy App vom Service heller gestellt werden, denn es war auch recht dunkel in unserer Nische. Licht auf dem Tisch gibt's keines. Die bestellten Getränke kamen und wir wunderten uns, dass der Andi Mann Müller-Thurgau Wein auf der Karte ein Naturwein war, obwohl dies dort nicht aufgeführt war. Gut, jetzt kann man natürlich sagen, wir waren selber Schuld, dass wir diesen Naturwein Spezialisten nicht kannten, aber na ja. Immerhin wurde der Wein ohne Probleme getauscht. Die Flasche Cremant vom Hilz und das schöne Bier vom Faust sind sehr zu empfehlen. Tatsächlich ist die Bierauswahl recht interessant. Das Brot der kleinen Bäckerei Ouwe von um die Ecke mit einer schönen Bärlauchbutter mit Salzflöckchen ist köstlich und eignet sich auch sehr um Soßen der Speisen aufzunehmen. Die Vorspeisen Knollensellerie und Forellentartar kamen geschmacklich sehr gut an. Aber auf die Hauptspeisen mussten wir mehr als 90 Minuten warten. In der Zeit machte sich der Service auch sehr rar, so dass wir ein wenig verloren in unserer Nische saßen. Als Hauptspeisen gab es dann die Ricotta Nocken, das Seafood Risotto und das Bürgermeistersteak, ein eher selten serviertes aber sehr schmackhaftes Stück aus der Rinderhüfte, welches gut tranchiert und üppig mit einer sehr schönen Bearnaise serviert wurde. Außer etwas Wasserspinat und dünn geschnittener Karotte gibt es keine Beilage, weshalb das Brot wieder eingesetzt wurde. Leider wurde das Fleisch relativ schnell kalt, vielleicht hätte man die Teller mehr vorwärmen können. Beim Risotto waren die Körner noch deutlich zu spüren, was manche nicht mögen, aber geschmacklich war es sehr gut. Da wir uns viel zu erzählen hatten und das Essen insgesamt sehr gut war, war es ein schöner Abend, aber der Service könnte präsenter und aufmerksamer sein.

Wunderschönes und köstliches Essen! Wir hatten das Sharing-Menü für zwei Personen, das eine tolle Portion für meinen Mann und mich war! Der Wein war auch köstlich und hatte einen angemessenen Preis für die Qualität. Die Qualität aller Produkte ist sehr hoch und wir haben hohe Ansprüche. Nur die Desserts haben uns nicht geschmeckt. Wir hätten uns etwas Süßeres gewünscht. Aber das ist Geschmackssache! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und probieren das Wintermenü! Und vielleicht könnte der Koch ja noch ein Schokoladendessert dazu bestellen ;)

Das Restaurant ist schön eingerichtet und der Service ist wirklich ausgesprochen gut. Leider waren wir vom Oster-Brunch (38€ pP) sehr enttäuscht, hier hat das Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis unserer Meinung nach nicht gepasst. Sehr viel Butter, Brot, Salz und Zucker, geschmacklich generell nicht überragend (bis auf den Carrot Cake 👌). Schade! Vielleicht versuchen wir es zu einem anderen Event mal.

Leider enttäuschend - wir hatten einen super dunklen Tisch in der hintersten Ecke den sogar der Service dauernd übersehen hat. Essen war gut aber nicht gerechtfertigt für den Preis (bei einem Brunch von 38€ pp erwarte ich top essen und top Service). Wir kommen leider nicht wieder zum Brunch, da gibt es für diesen Preispunkt und Konzept so viele bessere Alternativen (z.B. pankratiushof Wiesbaden).

Es war ein rundum gelungenes Erlebnis, vom lieben Empfang bis zum leckeren Brunch zum freundlich aufmerksamen Service. Wir empfehlen es gerne weiter und kommen auch gerne wieder. Vielen dank

Jedes Mal so gut, dass ich gleich wieder kommen möchte. Die Karte ist klein, was die Entscheidung aber nicht leichter macht, da alles verlockend klingt. Ich mag den Mix aus gehobenen Essen und casual Ambiente.

Bisschen wie im Wohnzimmer von Freunden in Berlin.. mag das Ambiente, nettes Personal. Sehr kreatives und vielfältiges Brunch Menü. Leider dauert es teilweise ewig, bis die Speisen kommen, das ist der einzige Minuspunkt.. mussten oft nachfragen. Kaffee war leider auch ständig leer. Alles kn allem trotzdem ein toller Laden. Kommen bestimmt irgendwann wieder!

Das essen war phantastisch. Endlich mal ein Brunch der weit weg von den Standardspeisen mal was anderes macht und sich auch bei der Zusammenstellung der Gerichte Gedanken macht. Das sharing Konzept ist super. Insgesamt 9,5 / 10. Am Anfang hat man die Gerichte schnell bekommen. Das nachbestellen hat sehr lange gedauert und die süßen Speisen haben eine Ewigkeit (30min) auf sich warten lassen. Das muss bei einem Brunch besser werden. Aber wir kommen definitv wieder.

Alternatives Restaurant mit überwiegend vegetarischen Speisen mit interessanten geschmacklichen Kombinationen. Das All-you-can-eat-Brunch im Sharing-Prinzip ist sehr empfehlenswert, da alle Speisen frisch zubereitet nacheinander zum Teilen serviert werden. Freundliches, aufmerksames Personal, gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Es war wie immer ein sehr schöner und gemütlicher Besuch. Der Brunch ist vielfältig und kreativ (Rote Beete Salat, Topinambur, veganer Brownie, etc.), es macht Spaß, wenn die Gerichte an den Tisch kommen. Das Sharingkonzept ist auch super. Toll ist auch, dass Kaffee und Tee inklusive sind.

Wir hatten einen sehr guten Service und wurden von einem extrem hilfsbereiten, aufmerksamen Team betreut. Da wir relativ spät zum Brunch gekommen sind, war eine Speise vom Brunch-Menü leider bereits ausverkauft – uns wurde aber sofort und unkompliziert eine tolle Alternative angeboten. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die Herzlichkeit des Personals: Obwohl bereits geschlossen war, durften wir ganz entspannt noch sitzen bleiben und unsere Gläser austrinken, ohne uns gehetzt zu fühlen. Zusätzlich wurde uns sogar noch das Abendmenü erklärt, was wir wirklich sehr aufmerksam fanden. Die Küche ist außergewöhnlich, kreativ und unglaublich frisch – so ausgefallen und gleichzeitig hochwertig habe ich in Frankfurt schon lange nicht mehr gegessen. Haben heut unsern Babyparty Brunch dort gemacht und es war echt Mega schön! Sau angenehmen Ambiente, Essen war top und auch das Personal freundlich und entspannt!

Wir waren zum ersten Mal zum Dinner hier. Geschmacklich hat es uns leider so gar nicht überzeugt, dafür auch noch extrem überteuert. Service war freundlich, Location halt hip aber alles in allem nichts wo wir wieder hin wollten.

Wer kreative, leckere Speisen mit hoher Qualität und super netten Service sucht ist hier absolut richtig. Ich war schon öfter hier essen und wurde noch nie enttäuscht. In Frankfurt gibt es nur wenige Restaurants, die meiner Meinung nach geschmacklich mithalten können.

Mit Freunden nach langer Zeit endlich mal besucht, obwohl die gute Empfehlung lange bekannt war. Das Essen war einfach unglaublich und lecker. Wir hatten alle Vorspeisen und ein Hauptgericht und haben alles geteilt. War eine super Idee. Kann einen Besuch nur empfehlen, auch wenn es teuer ist: Qualität hat einfach seinen Preis.

Der Service war ausgezeichnet und das Essen insgesamt gut. Allerdings empfand ich die Preise im Verhältnis zur Leistung als zu hoch. Zwei Maultaschen kosteten beispielsweise 30 € und waren qualitativ nicht besonders überzeugend. Insgesamt haben wir zu zweit 120 € bezahlt und wurden nur knapp satt.

Tolles Ambiente - Essen allerdings etwas überteuert für das was man am Ende bekommt. Service sehr nett.

UNFASSBAR GUT. Ich weiß nicht, wann ich zuletzt so gut gegessen habe, wie hier. Raffiniert, lecker und perfekt. Alle Gerichte die wir hatten, waren so ganz anders zu dem was man sonst aus Restaurants kennt. Gemüse wie Fleisch. Alles perfekt. Auch unsere alkoholfreien Cocktails waren der Hit. Extravagant anders und unglaublich gut. Würde am liebsten heute Abend wieder dort hin gehen. Einziger Kritikpunkt, der aber leider common sense in Frankfurt ist, Brot mit Butter wird übertrieben teuer abgerechnet.

Wir waren heute das erste Mal da, nachdem wir viele gute Videos auf Social Media gesehen haben. Die Qualität des Essens war tatsächlich sehr gut. Für 36€ kann man sich alles so oft bestellen, wie man möchte. Foodsharing: manche Portionen sind sehr klein, andere wiederum perfekt zum Teilen. Kaffee und Tee sind ebenfalls in dem All you can eat Konzept enthalten, weitere Getränke kann man gegen Aufpreis erhalten. Es war wirklich extrem gut besucht, und die beiden Mitarbeiterinnen hatten alle Hände voll zu tun. Dennoch alle sehr freundlich und wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Vielen Dank für diese coole Erfahrung.

Die Karte wird saisonal abgestimmt und das Essen ist sehr frisch und lecker. Eine echte Empfehlung.

Delicious seasonal food! I'd love to come back!

We’ve been loyal customers of Komplizen since its early days when it was still called "Wir Komplizen" and focused on craft beers. It's been interesting to see how the restaurant evolves, but our most recent experience was very mixed. We tried the 7-course sharing menu at 79 euros per person. The food was ok, and the ingredients were most probably of high quality, but we felt that the portions were quite small for the price. The concept of small plates can be great, but when comparing it to the spots with the similar price range in Frankfurt, like Bidlabu, Carte Blanche, or Funky Mr. Salvador, we noticed a stark difference in portion sizes and overall value. For instance, at these other places, you might receive a more substantial course, like a nicely cooked piece of Argentinian steak or a whole fish, whereas at Komplizen, one round might consist of a small tartlet with 10g piece of pork. It’s not necessarily a bad thing, but it left us wanting much more for the price. We also had a hiccup with the service – when we asked about a sauce, the waitress had to google what is inside. We appreciated her effort, but we did expect a basic familiarity with the dishes, especially given the above-average pricing. Overall, appreciate the creativity, but the prices do not align with the overall experience. We would love to understand the thinking behind the current direction because at the moment it’s not clear for us. Especially when the restaurant insists on „we’re not a fine dining“ and puts a high price tag.

A creative sharing plate concept at a friendly price.

My girlfriend surprised me with brunch for my birthday. The reservation was for two hours, which turned out to be the perfect amount of time to enjoy a leisurely weekend brunch. We arrived at 1 p.m. and were greeted warmly. The staff explained the concept of the brunch, and the barista, in particular, was very friendly and attentive, immediately creating a pleasant atmosphere. We started off slowly and ordered the first five items from the brunch menu. After a short coffee break, we continued sampling the menu. The concept was diverse, and the food was beautifully presented—a refreshing change from the typical brunch offerings. However, things gradually started to feel a bit rushed. At 1:45 p.m., we were reminded to order the last of the savory items—even though we hadn't even tried everything yet. This seemed a bit early, especially considering the two-hour brunch and the fact that the restaurant doesn't close until 3 p.m. I found it odd that we were rushed to finish so soon, especially since the food was really good and we would have liked to have had more time to enjoy it. Shortly after 2 p.m., we were asked to decide on dessert and also to specify how many we wanted, as seconds wouldn't be possible. We were paid at 2:30 p.m. Since we only had our dessert and coffee/tea (an excellent selection of loose-leaf tea, by the way) left to eat, there was no need to stay any longer. Overall, the experience itself was lovely and the food was truly good, but the tight time management and the early pressure to order unfortunately detracted from the overall impression. At a price of almost €37 per person and with this concept, I would have appreciated it if they had either made it clear from the beginning that it was best to decide within the first 45 minutes or if they had been a bit more generous with the time. ...] It's a shame, because the concept and atmosphere were really good, but these minor disruptions unfortunately marred the experience and I wouldn't recommend it for a leisurely late brunch.

I really liked the concept of the brunch, but I was a bit disappointed with the food. While I enjoyed most of it, I missed having French toast. (Unfortunately, the old menu was still online.) The alternative sweet dishes weren't entirely convincing. The staff was very attentive, but clearly overwhelmed. Towards the end, we also noticed that one of our dishes hadn't been brought to us (though it had been to the other guests). We would have loved to try the beetroot, but by the time we realized it was missing, we were already too full. The ambiance was pleasant, but the tables were a bit small and the music too loud. The filter coffee tasted okay, and the tea was delicious. Since this isn't a particularly inexpensive brunch, you expect everything to be perfect. Unfortunately, that wasn't our experience, so we're not sure if we would come again.

We had brunch here today, just the two of us. It's great that the courses are served one after the other, allowing you to try everything. We thoroughly enjoyed it: delicious food, friendly service, and a lovely atmosphere! You can order more of anything, and filter coffee and tea are available free of charge at the counter. We would definitely come back!

We made a reservation and went for brunch as a couple. The food was good, and the all-you-can-eat brunch had a wide selection. Coffee came from a thermos for you to pour yourself. We didn't like some of the brunch items, but that's purely a matter of taste. Others were very tasty—mostly vegetarian. The service was very friendly. We somehow felt like Berlin student vibes, right in the middle of Frankfurt. It was nice, but once is enough for us.

Really friendly staff, winding rooms, different seating options, bright.

Lured by the 4 plates for 40 euros offer, we went to Komplizen – and came back with some new insights. For example, that four plates are apparently really only four plates, even if you're dining with two people and paying double. The reception was polite, but somewhat reserved. The service seemed simply uninvolved – as if they had to leave their enthusiasm at the cloakroom. After waiting almost an hour, our courses arrived: beautifully presented, but in terms of taste, they were more or less searching for a common thread. All in all: casual dining with a fine-dining price tag (also called catfish) – and a quiet reminder that good food isn't just about what's on the plate, but also about the atmosphere.

This place is a complete scam. It took them hours to serve the food and the fish tasted like dog food. We were 3 people who shared the 2-people menu for 120€. In the end they charged us 60€ each (so 180€ in total), even though the food was only for 2 people.

Love the food, always something new and fantastic! Even on a Friday, you can still get a cute little table for two. Otherwise, be sure to reserve in advance or call ahead. I highly recommend it 😍

We were there for brunch on a Sunday. The food was truly delicious, but we sometimes had to wait a long time for our food, which can be a bit tight when you only have one slot. That was the case in the end, and we had to eat our dessert very quickly because new guests were already waiting at the door. That was a bit of a shame. We also felt that the service could have been more attentive and better informed – at times, they didn't know which drinks were on the menu, which I find a bit of a shame for the price. All in all, despite the criticisms, it was still a pleasant experience.

We were here for brunch. The food was very good, especially the platter of bread, hummus, cheese, and butter. Most of the dishes you could order were also very good. The ambiance was very negative. The room was incredibly stuffy and loud, very crowded. As soon as we sat down, we were sweating. It was difficult to have a conversation. We asked for a table in the other room or outside, but we were told that everything was full and they weren't opening the outdoor area today. I don't think the price is justified. Perhaps it's nicer in the courtyard here in the summer. Unfortunately, despite the good food, I wouldn't go here again.

We were privileged to spend a wonderful summer evening at Komplizen. We had the 6-course menu and were very pleased. Great drinks and a beautiful, casual ambiance in a very unassuming courtyard immersed us in a world of fresh, seasonal ingredients and breathtaking flavors. A culinary experience that wasn't achieved through a battle of meat and fish, but rather through refinement and bold combinations. Wow...I love it...sharing idea...eclectic...a culinary delight...fantastic product selection...even the drinks...casual, relaxed, attentive service...great concept...makes you want more!

We've been wanting to try the brunch here for a long time and had only heard good things about it! So perhaps our expectations were too high. Because we weren't really impressed by any of the individual dishes, which is a shame considering the price. Yes, you can theoretically reorder anything as often as you like, but we had to wait a very long time and in large batches for our order, even though other tables later received their entire orders straight away. That can happen on hectic days, of course, but especially at a sharing brunch with small portions, longer breaks aren't conducive to it. As a result, we were starting to get full from waiting. Since the food didn't really blow us away, it wasn't really worth reordering. We only received one of the dishes after asking twice and very late. We found the hummus, the cacio e pepe beans, and the zucchini fritters a bit underseasoned, while the braised tofu was too salty. We found the fried oyster mushrooms too sour due to the sauce, and the beets weren't that flavorful either. I had also requested outside seating when I made my reservation. It had rained that morning, but when we arrived, the sun was shining, and we still weren't allowed to sit outside. Later, I saw that other guests were sitting outside. By then, it was already very warm and stuffy inside. Our request for a nicer table of the same size was also denied, even though it remained empty for almost two hours. This may all sound a bit picky, but I had simply hoped for more and was truly disappointed with the food, as well as the ambiance and service, at a price of just over €36 per person. The staff were otherwise very friendly and relaxed. The filter coffee from Cafe No. 48 was included, however, and we really enjoyed it! We particularly liked the chocolate mousse at the end.

We recommend ordering à la carte rather than choosing the sharing menu. After sampling six courses from the new seasonal menu, we highly recommend the Grape Stracciatella.

The place and food are good, but unfortunately, this was one of the worst service experiences I’ve had in Frankfurt. The staff is in serious need of proper training. We waited over 20 minutes just to receive the menu (I eventually had to go to the bar to ask for it, otherwise it would have taken even longer). They first brought us bread and cheese, which was delicious, but then we waited more than 30 minutes for the rest of our food. Meanwhile, we noticed other guests who arrived after us being served before us. When we asked, the waitress admitted that they had accidentally thrown away our order. To make matters worse, some dishes were no longer available, and even then, not everything we ordered was brought to the table. Because of the mistake, we ended up being the last ones to get food. By the end, we were the only guests left in the garden, while the waitresses were smoking instead of checking on us. We even had to go and find someone just to pay the bill. Overall, it’s a shame: the food and setting are genuinely good, but the service was just disappointing.

In addition to the great food, we also discovered an exceptional Pinot Grigio. We'll be back!

It's a real surprise to find such a highly recommended restaurant in such a location, with a focus on vegetarian dishes. Incredible value for money. The only problem might be finding a parking space nearby. A short walk or public transport is definitely worth it.

We had the 6-course menu and were absolutely thrilled. The food is exquisitely prepared, and the portions are more than ample. The service is good, with explanations of the ingredients used for each dish. The ambiance in the courtyard is very cozy. The price is high, but it's worth it for special occasions.

Small portions, unusual combinations, but often poorly thought out. It took forever to finally be allowed to place a drink order. In over 30-degree heat, we sat there, waiting, and waiting... until relief finally arrived in the form of cold drinks. A full 20 minutes. Once, and never again. Thanks for wasting my time.

Delicious vegan dishes, great vermouth selection with expert advice!

We gave our nephew a sharing menu for his birthday, and it was a wonderful experience for us too. Great combinations and delicious surprises! The terrace is a lovely place to sit.

Went here for the brunch on a Sunday morning. Great atmosphere in a backyard, open kitchen, self service station for tea/coffee, friendly service. At the end of our brunch though it felt to me like we paid 100€ for bread and butter. From sitting down till first food we waited 45min since our order didn’t get through (happens, wasn’t on purpose). From that point on we received the basic brunch which was bread (many ends), butter, cheese and meat cuts. A bit of salad on the side got served too. If you zoom out, this is the most basic breakfast you’d do at home. We then waited another 15 min for 2 fried eggs (delicious) and zucchini fritters (bland). I had 2 of the fritters but the portion size was so large that I wasn’t willing to eat all 7 of them. I was under the impression that you order all the time to avoid food waste but this concept doesn’t function because there’s easily 20-30 min between order and delivery. French toast was great too but again, it takes so incredibly long to get food and you’re already full from eating bread and butter for 30min. I strongly believe that this is not true for anyone that comes in a group of 4 or more. The portion size for a group like this is great and you can order and share multiple meals. The self service station is great but spoons and glasses were empty when I went there twice. Pretty sure we’ll come back with a group but definitely not as a couple unless portion size gets smaller and delivery time increases.

A truly wonderful, unusual restaurant. The seating is lovely in the backyard. The dishes are seasonal and creatively prepared. You can also enjoy delicious vegetarian food here.

Über das Restaurant hatte ich in einem Fernsehbeitrag gehört und war sehr gespannt und mit großer Erwartung an gutes Essen und ein Geschmackserlebnis hergekommen. Leider hat sich das überhaupt nicht erfüllt. Auf der kleinen Karte stehen zwar interessante Gerichte, die jedoch nicht halten, was sie versprechen. Als Starter gab es Brot und Butter, die Brotscheiben waren viel zu dick geschnitten und die Butter war viel zu weich und geschmacklich undefinierbar. Der dicke Bohnen Salat mit weißer Schokolade, Erbsencreme und Buttermilch war auch nichts Besonderes. Die weiße Schokolade musste man wie die Erbsencreme suchen und das Ganze ging dann in der sauren Buttermilch unter, auch gar kein Geschmackserlebnis. Die Sauerteig Pizzetta war verbrannt und der Schweinenackenschaschlikspieß bestand aus zähem ungewürztem Fleisch. Die Portionen sind insgesamt für den aufgerufenen Preis sehr klein. Es war eine volle Enttäuschung. Wir können das nicht weiter empfehlen.

The concept itself is really great. I just don't understand why, when each of us paid full price for brunch, we only got one portion each instead of four of the basics. And only one portion of the extras. That surprised me, because we all paid for them. The small portions meant we had to reorder very frequently. Only the bread was immediately brought to us in a bowl with about nine slices, which was fine for four people. But the amount of food was really too little. In retrospect, we should have asked for a separate pot for our table. We were sitting in the courtyard at the very back, so it was always a long walk to get the coffee, which was only available in quite small cups. Perhaps it's intended that people don't go out to get coffee very often? But I can't imagine that. The atmosphere in the backyard was really nice! I imagine brunch in great weather would be perfect here. The service was super friendly, but unfortunately, they were at capacity due to the many reorders. It wasn't even that busy, so we were able to finish breakfast in peace, as there were a few free tables. But you only have a 2-hour time slot. There could be a bit more vegan options... The only "full" meal was actually the scrambled tofu. Otherwise, there was a dollop of hummus (very tasty), white beans, and cucumber. I was hoping for more. I think there was a vegan option on the online menu that was missing from the in-person menu. Ultimately, I probably wouldn't come back unless the food and the concept are reworked, because I think it's great!

We went for brunch and had a seat on the terrace outside in good weather. In terms of taste, the food was okay but not very special or of high culinary art. Everything always came in very, very small portions, which didn't fit with the sharing concept. You were not asked how many portions were brought and you had to clearly request each extra dish. For €36.50 per person This should be a given and table water should also be included or an orange juice for example. Value for money was definitely not good.

We will enjoy the service. The dishes were excellently designed and tasted great. The selection of wines is limited, but we found something.
