We’ve been loyal customers of Komplizen since its early days when it was still called "Wir Komplizen" and focused on craft beers. It's been interesting to see how the restaurant evolves, but our most recent experience was very mixed. We tried the 7-course sharing menu at 79 euros per person. The food was ok, and the ingredients were most probably of high quality, but we felt that the portions were quite small for the price. The concept of small plates can be great, but when comparing it to the spots with the similar price range in Frankfurt, like Bidlabu, Carte Blanche, or Funky Mr. Salvador, we noticed a stark difference in portion sizes and overall value. For instance, at these other places, you might receive a more substantial course, like a nicely cooked piece of Argentinian steak or a whole fish, whereas at Komplizen, one round might consist of a small tartlet with 10g piece of pork. It’s not necessarily a bad thing, but it left us wanting much more for the price. We also had a hiccup with the service – when we asked about a sauce, the waitress had to google what is inside. We appreciated her effort, but we did expect a basic familiarity with the dishes, especially given the above-average pricing. Overall, appreciate the creativity, but the prices do not align with the overall experience. We would love to understand the thinking behind the current direction because at the moment it’s not clear for us. Especially when the restaurant insists on „we’re not a fine dining“ and puts a high price tag.

My girlfriend surprised me with brunch for my birthday. The reservation was for two hours, which turned out to be the perfect amount of time to enjoy a leisurely weekend brunch. We arrived at 1 p.m. and were greeted warmly. The staff explained the concept of the brunch, and the barista, in particular, was very friendly and attentive, immediately creating a pleasant atmosphere. We started off slowly and ordered the first five items from the brunch menu. After a short coffee break, we continued sampling the menu. The concept was diverse, and the food was beautifully presented—a refreshing change from the typical brunch offerings. However, things gradually started to feel a bit rushed. At 1:45 p.m., we were reminded to order the last of the savory items—even though we hadn't even tried everything yet. This seemed a bit early, especially considering the two-hour brunch and the fact that the restaurant doesn't close until 3 p.m. I found it odd that we were rushed to finish so soon, especially since the food was really good and we would have liked to have had more time to enjoy it. Shortly after 2 p.m., we were asked to decide on dessert and also to specify how many we wanted, as seconds wouldn't be possible. We were paid at 2:30 p.m. Since we only had our dessert and coffee/tea (an excellent selection of loose-leaf tea, by the way) left to eat, there was no need to stay any longer. Overall, the experience itself was lovely and the food was truly good, but the tight time management and the early pressure to order unfortunately detracted from the overall impression. At a price of almost €37 per person and with this concept, I would have appreciated it if they had either made it clear from the beginning that it was best to decide within the first 45 minutes or if they had been a bit more generous with the time. ...] It's a shame, because the concept and atmosphere were really good, but these minor disruptions unfortunately marred the experience and I wouldn't recommend it for a leisurely late brunch.

I really liked the concept of the brunch, but I was a bit disappointed with the food. While I enjoyed most of it, I missed having French toast. (Unfortunately, the old menu was still online.) The alternative sweet dishes weren't entirely convincing. The staff was very attentive, but clearly overwhelmed. Towards the end, we also noticed that one of our dishes hadn't been brought to us (though it had been to the other guests). We would have loved to try the beetroot, but by the time we realized it was missing, we were already too full. The ambiance was pleasant, but the tables were a bit small and the music too loud. The filter coffee tasted okay, and the tea was delicious. Since this isn't a particularly inexpensive brunch, you expect everything to be perfect. Unfortunately, that wasn't our experience, so we're not sure if we would come again.

We had brunch here today, just the two of us. It's great that the courses are served one after the other, allowing you to try everything. We thoroughly enjoyed it: delicious food, friendly service, and a lovely atmosphere! You can order more of anything, and filter coffee and tea are available free of charge at the counter. We would definitely come back!

We made a reservation and went for brunch as a couple. The food was good, and the all-you-can-eat brunch had a wide selection. Coffee came from a thermos for you to pour yourself. We didn't like some of the brunch items, but that's purely a matter of taste. Others were very tasty—mostly vegetarian. The service was very friendly. We somehow felt like Berlin student vibes, right in the middle of Frankfurt. It was nice, but once is enough for us.

Lured by the 4 plates for 40 euros offer, we went to Komplizen – and came back with some new insights. For example, that four plates are apparently really only four plates, even if you're dining with two people and paying double. The reception was polite, but somewhat reserved. The service seemed simply uninvolved – as if they had to leave their enthusiasm at the cloakroom. After waiting almost an hour, our courses arrived: beautifully presented, but in terms of taste, they were more or less searching for a common thread. All in all: casual dining with a fine-dining price tag (also called catfish) – and a quiet reminder that good food isn't just about what's on the plate, but also about the atmosphere.

This place is a complete scam. It took them hours to serve the food and the fish tasted like dog food. We were 3 people who shared the 2-people menu for 120€. In the end they charged us 60€ each (so 180€ in total), even though the food was only for 2 people.

We were there for brunch on a Sunday. The food was truly delicious, but we sometimes had to wait a long time for our food, which can be a bit tight when you only have one slot. That was the case in the end, and we had to eat our dessert very quickly because new guests were already waiting at the door. That was a bit of a shame. We also felt that the service could have been more attentive and better informed – at times, they didn't know which drinks were on the menu, which I find a bit of a shame for the price. All in all, despite the criticisms, it was still a pleasant experience.

We were here for brunch. The food was very good, especially the platter of bread, hummus, cheese, and butter. Most of the dishes you could order were also very good. The ambiance was very negative. The room was incredibly stuffy and loud, very crowded. As soon as we sat down, we were sweating. It was difficult to have a conversation. We asked for a table in the other room or outside, but we were told that everything was full and they weren't opening the outdoor area today. I don't think the price is justified. Perhaps it's nicer in the courtyard here in the summer. Unfortunately, despite the good food, I wouldn't go here again.

We were privileged to spend a wonderful summer evening at Komplizen. We had the 6-course menu and were very pleased. Great drinks and a beautiful, casual ambiance in a very unassuming courtyard immersed us in a world of fresh, seasonal ingredients and breathtaking flavors. A culinary experience that wasn't achieved through a battle of meat and fish, but rather through refinement and bold combinations. Exceptionally friendly and open service and romantic fairy lights beautifully rounded off our evening.

We've been wanting to try the brunch here for a long time and had only heard good things about it! So perhaps our expectations were too high. Because we weren't really impressed by any of the individual dishes, which is a shame considering the price. Yes, you can theoretically reorder anything as often as you like, but we had to wait a very long time and in large batches for our order, even though other tables later received their entire orders straight away. That can happen on hectic days, of course, but especially at a sharing brunch with small portions, longer breaks aren't conducive to it. As a result, we were starting to get full from waiting. Since the food didn't really blow us away, it wasn't really worth reordering. We only received one of the dishes after asking twice and very late. We found the hummus, the cacio e pepe beans, and the zucchini fritters a bit underseasoned, while the braised tofu was too salty. We found the fried oyster mushrooms too sour due to the sauce, and the beets weren't that flavorful either. I had also requested outside seating when I made my reservation. It had rained that morning, but when we arrived, the sun was shining, and we still weren't allowed to sit outside. Later, I saw that other guests were sitting outside. By then, it was already very warm and stuffy inside. Our request for a nicer table of the same size was also denied, even though it remained empty for almost two hours. This may all sound a bit picky, but I had simply hoped for more and was truly disappointed with the food, as well as the ambiance and service, at a price of just over €36 per person. The staff were otherwise very friendly and relaxed. The filter coffee from Cafe No. 48 was included, however, and we really enjoyed it! We particularly liked the chocolate mousse at the end.

The place and food are good, but unfortunately, this was one of the worst service experiences I’ve had in Frankfurt. The staff is in serious need of proper training. We waited over 20 minutes just to receive the menu (I eventually had to go to the bar to ask for it, otherwise it would have taken even longer). They first brought us bread and cheese, which was delicious, but then we waited more than 30 minutes for the rest of our food. Meanwhile, we noticed other guests who arrived after us being served before us. When we asked, the waitress admitted that they had accidentally thrown away our order. To make matters worse, some dishes were no longer available, and even then, not everything we ordered was brought to the table. Because of the mistake, we ended up being the last ones to get food. By the end, we were the only guests left in the garden, while the waitresses were smoking instead of checking on us. We even had to go and find someone just to pay the bill. Overall, it’s a shame: the food and setting are genuinely good, but the service was just disappointing.

It's a real surprise to find such a highly recommended restaurant in such a location, with a focus on vegetarian dishes. Incredible value for money. The only problem might be finding a parking space nearby. A short walk or public transport is definitely worth it.

Went here for the brunch on a Sunday morning. Great atmosphere in a backyard, open kitchen, self service station for tea/coffee, friendly service. At the end of our brunch though it felt to me like we paid 100€ for bread and butter. From sitting down till first food we waited 45min since our order didn’t get through (happens, wasn’t on purpose). From that point on we received the basic brunch which was bread (many ends), butter, cheese and meat cuts. A bit of salad on the side got served too. If you zoom out, this is the most basic breakfast you’d do at home. We then waited another 15 min for 2 fried eggs (delicious) and zucchini fritters (bland). I had 2 of the fritters but the portion size was so large that I wasn’t willing to eat all 7 of them. I was under the impression that you order all the time to avoid food waste but this concept doesn’t function because there’s easily 20-30 min between order and delivery. French toast was great too but again, it takes so incredibly long to get food and you’re already full from eating bread and butter for 30min. I strongly believe that this is not true for anyone that comes in a group of 4 or more. The portion size for a group like this is great and you can order and share multiple meals. The self service station is great but spoons and glasses were empty when I went there twice. Pretty sure we’ll come back with a group but definitely not as a couple unless portion size gets smaller and delivery time increases.

Über das Restaurant hatte ich in einem Fernsehbeitrag gehört und war sehr gespannt und mit großer Erwartung an gutes Essen und ein Geschmackserlebnis hergekommen. Leider hat sich das überhaupt nicht erfüllt. Auf der kleinen Karte stehen zwar interessante Gerichte, die jedoch nicht halten, was sie versprechen. Als Starter gab es Brot und Butter, die Brotscheiben waren viel zu dick geschnitten und die Butter war viel zu weich und geschmacklich undefinierbar. Der dicke Bohnen Salat mit weißer Schokolade, Erbsencreme und Buttermilch war auch nichts Besonderes. Die weiße Schokolade musste man wie die Erbsencreme suchen und das Ganze ging dann in der sauren Buttermilch unter, auch gar kein Geschmackserlebnis. Die Sauerteig Pizzetta war verbrannt und der Schweinenackenschaschlikspieß bestand aus zähem ungewürztem Fleisch. Die Portionen sind insgesamt für den aufgerufenen Preis sehr klein. Es war eine volle Enttäuschung. Wir können das nicht weiter empfehlen.

The concept itself is really great. I just don't understand why, when each of us paid full price for brunch, we only got one portion each instead of four of the basics. And only one portion of the extras. That surprised me, because we all paid for them. The small portions meant we had to reorder very frequently. Only the bread was immediately brought to us in a bowl with about nine slices, which was fine for four people. But the amount of food was really too little. In retrospect, we should have asked for a separate pot for our table. We were sitting in the courtyard at the very back, so it was always a long walk to get the coffee, which was only available in quite small cups. Perhaps it's intended that people don't go out to get coffee very often? But I can't imagine that. The atmosphere in the backyard was really nice! I imagine brunch in great weather would be perfect here. The service was super friendly, but unfortunately, they were at capacity due to the many reorders. It wasn't even that busy, so we were able to finish breakfast in peace, as there were a few free tables. But you only have a 2-hour time slot. There could be a bit more vegan options... The only "full" meal was actually the scrambled tofu. Otherwise, there was a dollop of hummus (very tasty), white beans, and cucumber. I was hoping for more. I think there was a vegan option on the online menu that was missing from the in-person menu. Ultimately, I probably wouldn't come back unless the food and the concept are reworked, because I think it's great!

We went for brunch and had a seat on the terrace outside in good weather. In terms of taste, the food was okay but not very special or of high culinary art. Everything always came in very, very small portions, which didn't fit with the sharing concept. You were not asked how many portions were brought and you had to clearly request each extra dish. For €36.50 per person This should be a given and table water should also be included or an orange juice for example. Value for money was definitely not good.

For two months, my friend and I have been exploring numerous restaurants in Frankfurt, from upscale addresses like "Carmelo Greco" and "Bidlabu" to places with a similar ambience and price range like "Chairs". This restaurant had been on our list for a long time and we came with high expectations - unfortunately we were disappointed. The dishes seemed overloaded, with far too many flavors that didn't harmonize. The vote was unbalanced, sometimes even bitter, and the wine accompaniment didn't go well with the food at all. The service was equally unconvincing: the waiter was noticeably jittery, uncoordinated and, despite repeated requests, was unable to provide any information about allergens. In addition, the timing of the dishes was inappropriate - either the courses came too quickly or we had to wait a long time. When clearing away the cutlery was carelessly thrown onto the table, which further spoiled the experience. We expected much more, especially compared to similar restaurants in Frankfurt. For us the visit was an “experience”, but unfortunately not a positive one. We therefore cannot recommend it. For the money (just under €200) you should go to Chairs or Mon Ami Maxi. EDIT: I find the restaurant's response super rude. A serious restaurateur would never speak to their guests like that. The answer is just childish, especially the comment about the cookbook. Accusing us of not leaving a tip without checking the billing from the card reader or similar is gross. At least that's what I would have done before making such disrespectful accusations publicly. If you read through other negative reviews, you can see that any kind of criticism is treated very disrespectfully (on the part of the restaurant).

Wir waren mit unserer Familie Sonntags zum Brunch verabredet und reservierten einen Tisch via E-Mail, was sehr gut funktionierte. Die Kommunikation war wirklich gelungen und freundlich zu gleich. Als wir uns dann Sonntag im Restaurant getroffen haben, waren wir zunächst ein wenig verwundert, dass wir um ins Restaurant zu kommen erstmal durch den Hof an allen Mülltonnen vorbei müssen. Das wirkt natürlich erstmal nicht sehr einladend und im Sommer kann es sicherlich auch ein wenig riechen. Nungut, im Restaurant angekommen wurden wir freundlich empfangen. Dann wurde uns die richtung angegeben wo wir hinlaufen sollen, da der rest bereits da war. Im Nebenraum angekommen haben wir nach einem Babystuhl gefragt und eine Art Aufsatz bekommen welche man an dem normalen Stuhl befestigen kann. Grundlegend eine mega idee, aber dafür muss das Set auch komplett und funktionsfähig sein. Die Kellnerin konnte uns nicht helfen, da sie sich damit nicht auskennt. Ich konnte es dann irgendwie mit Knoten befestigen, so das es gehalten hat. Aber so gehörte es natürlich nicht, aber es hielt. Nur nebenbei erwähnt, sollte man generell ohne Kinderwagen kommen, da ohnehin die Tische schon recht eng gestellt sind. Wir haben unseren einfach im Auto gelassen. Endlich saßen wir alle und wasser stand bereits auf dem Tisch. Das Konzept klingt echt cool. Man kann beim Brunchen sitzen bleiben und alles immer wieder nachbestellen. Naja fast… für deinen Kaffee musst du dann doch aufstehen. An der Bar ist eine Station aufgebaut, an der man sich so viel Kaffee nehmen kann wie man benötigt. Der Kaffee kommt aus dem Cafe 48 welches um die Ecke ist und schmeckt sehr gut. Das nächste mal würden wir fragen ob wir eine Kanne mit an den Tisch nehmen dürfen. Am Anfang haben wir uns alles erklären lassen und haben dann begonnen zu bestellen. Dann mussten wir erstmal ziemlich lange warten. Dann kam erst ein crispy egg und wir hatten sonst noch nichts auf dem Tisch…. Dann kamen die basics und wir schauten ein wenig blöd, denn bei 4 Personen sind 4-5 scheiben gemischtes Brot ein bisschen wenig. Generell war alles eher für zwei Personen angerichtet was wir bei den Basics nicht verstanden haben, da wir ja vier Erwachsene waren. Da reichen eine Nocke aufgeschlagener Butter, zwei Scheiben Corned Beef mit einer Nocke Leberwurst, sowie 6 Stückchen Käse etc. einfach nicht und man fängt an als nachzubestellen und unterbricht dauernd sein Frühstück mit wartezeiten. Die Produkte welche man zusätzlich bestellen konnte waren natürlich nur auf eine Person ausgelegt, vielleicht auch teilbar für zwei und das war auch völlig in Ordnung so. Wir waren eigentlich die Ganze Zeit am nachbestellen von meistens brot und butter, aber auch anderen Dingen. Der Service war immer sehr freundlich und nett, aber auch sichtlich überfordert, waren wir natürlich nicht die einzigen welche viel bestellt haben, ist das Restaurant voll gewesen. Die Qualitäten an Speisen und Getränken muss man aber wirklich loben. Egal was wir gegessen haben, war alles sehr lecker und handwerklich gut umgesetzt. Auch die Auswahl der Lieferanten, sei es beim Käse oder dem Corned Beef etc. ist definitiv positiv zu erwähnen. Das ist wirklich top. Am Ende hat uns nicht mal die vorgegebene Zeit gereicht um vernünftig zu ende zu frühstücken. Wir wurden gebeten unsere letzten bestellungen aufzugeben damit wir dann bezahlen können, da nach uns natürlich der Tisch weitervergeben wurde. Die zwei Stunden hätten sicherlich reichen können, wenn man von vornherein mal genügend basics auf dem Tisch gehabt hätte. Am Ende war es ein relativ hektischer Brunch mit der Familie, weil wir dauernd nachbestellen mussten und nie genügend auf dem Tisch hatten um zu sagen: „so jetzt können wir in ruhe frühstücken/brunchen“. Fazit der Ganzen geschichte… Das Konzept finden wir generell nicht schlecht, aber man sollte es nochmal überdenken wie man es besser umsetzen kann. Für zwei Personen zum Frühstück sicherlich sehr schön, da auch genau darauf eigentlich alles abgestimmt ist. Bei vier Personen wirds dann scheinbar schon schwierig. Dazu kommt das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Am Ende haben wir ca. 150,00-160 € bezahlt, mussten gehen weil unsere Zeit abgelaufen war und hätten aber eigentlich noch gerne weiter gefrühstückt…Bei den Preisen so gerechtfertigt sie auch für die Produkte etc. sein mögen, ist es fast schon frech die Leute nach 1,5-2 Stunden bitten zu zahlen und zu gehen… Hier sollte man auch schauen, ob man bei grösseren Tischen evtl. auch einen grösseren Zeitrahmen schafft oder diesen gar abschafft, wird aber dann vermutlich wirtschaftlich für das kleine Unternehmen schwieriger. Zu zweit würden wir evtl. mal wieder vorbei schauen. Aber mit grösseren Gruppen würden wir uns was anderes suchen, am besten ohne Zeitrahmen.

We reserved our table via email. The communication was really very friendly. When we met in the restaurant on Sunday, we were initially a little surprised that to get to the restaurant we first had to go through the yard past all the garbage cans. Of course, that doesn't seem very inviting at first. Well, when we arrived at the restaurant we were warmly welcomed. When we arrived in the next room, we asked for a baby chair and were given a kind of attachment that can be attached to the normal chair. Basically a great idea, but the set also has to be complete and functional, which unfortunately it wasn't for us. The waitress couldn't help us. The concept sounds really cool. You can stay seated during brunch and order everything again and again. Well almost… you have to get up for your coffee. There is a station set up at the bar where you can grab as much coffee as you need. The coffee comes from Cafe 48 which is around the corner and tastes very good. Next time we would ask if we could take a pot to the table. At the beginning we had everything explained to us and then started ordering. Then we had to wait quite a long time. Then came a crispy egg and we didn't have anything else on the table... Then came the basics and we looked a little stupid, because with 4 people, 4-5 slices of mixed bread is a bit small. In general, everything was designed for two people, which we didn't understand the basics since we were four adults. A knob of whipped butter, two slices of corned beef with a knob of liver sausage, and 6 pieces of cheese, etc. are simply not enough and you start ordering more and constantly interrupting your breakfast with waiting times. The products that you could order additionally were of course only designed for one person, maybe even divisible for two and that was completely fine. We were actually reordering the whole time, mostly bread and butter, but also other things. The service was always very friendly and nice, but also visibly overwhelmed, of course we weren't the only ones who ordered a lot. But you really have to praise the quality of the food and drinks. No matter what we ate, everything was very tasty and well-crafted. The selection of suppliers, be it cheese or corned beef, etc., is also definitely worth mentioning. This is really great. In the end, we didn't even have enough time to finish brunch properly. We were asked to place our last orders so that we could then pay, as the table was of course given away after us. The two hours could certainly have been enough if we had had enough basics on the table from the start. In the end it was a relatively hectic brunch with the family because we constantly had to order more and never had enough on the table to say: “Now we can have brunch in peace”. Conclusion: We generally don't think the concept is bad, but we should reconsider how it can be implemented better. Certainly very nice for two people for breakfast, as everything is tailored exactly to that. With four people it seems to be difficult. Added to this is the price-performance ratio. In the end we paid around 150.00-160 €, had to leave because our time was up and would actually have liked to have continued brunch... Given the prices, no matter how justified they may be for the products etc., it's almost cheeky ask people to pay and leave after 1.5-2 hours... Here you should also see whether you can create a longer time frame for larger tables or even eliminate it. The two of us might stop by again. But with larger groups we would look for something else, ideally without a time frame.

Wir waren an einem Samstag da und hatten reserviert. Der Laden ist sehr hübsch eingerichtet und wirkt einladend. Wir haben erst Getränke bestellt- die waren in Ordnung. Als es dann ums essen bestellen ging - wollte jeder von uns vor und Nachspeise bestellen. Ich bestellte als erste- ich hatte noch nicht ausgesprochen da wurde ich von der Kellnerin angemacht ob ich das Konzept nicht verstanden hätte- ich so - welches Konzept? Hier würde man alles teilen - die Küche könnte weder die Vorspeisen noch die Hauptspeisen gleichzeitig bringen (wir waren 4 Personen) und somit sollte gefälligst einer für alle bestellen. Ich meinte dann- Entschuldigung - woher soll ich das wissen? Sie realisierte dann wohl das sie das hätte erklären müssen und meinte dann patzig - ich erklär es ihnen nochmal. Wir haben dann über eine Stunde gebraucht bis alle Vorspeisen da waren. Das gleiche war bei den hauptspeisen. Die Vorspeisen kosten im Schnitt 18 eur - hauptspeisen über 30. wäre auch ok gewesen zum teilen wenn die Portionen nicht mikoskoisch klein gewesen wären. Fazit ist unglaublich viel Geld für wenig mittelmäßiges Essen und die schlechteste Bedienung die ich seit langem hatte. Nie wieder

Favorite brunch spot in Frankfurt. For €35 you can get super unusual dishes that are absolutely delicious. You can reorder these as often as you like. It's a taste experience every time. Big recommendation :) Reserve in advance!

Nice restaurant, cozy vibe. Friendly staff and a good selection for vegetarians too. There is the typical concept of all new, modern restaurants here: sharing concept. Unfortunately, it's like everyone else: you have to choose 2-3 dishes per person. These are the size of appetizers but cost as much as regular main courses. The food was very tasty, but unfortunately the price-performance ratio wasn't right because I wasn't even remotely full.

Before the "new concept" there was a varied beer selection and food that stood out from the crowd. When you come home hungry but a lot poorer after the meager portions, you make yourself another decent sandwich. An experience we will not repeat.

Went here for brunch on a Sunday. Nice offering of the entire thing on a flatrate of 35€. The individual dishes were extraordinary compositions of tastes and flavors that are not standard for a breakfast restaurant. Overall a very relaxed atmosphere and a Sunday morning/early afternoon well spent.

There were 6 of us in “We Accomplices” because it was heavily advertised on Instagram and looked appealing. The atmosphere in the courtyard is really nice and the aperitifs and the bread with whipped butter were very good. Unfortunately that's where it ends, the food was unfortunately very disappointing for all of us for the price, the portions are very small, we ordered several dishes to do justice to the sharing menu (which we also know from other restaurants), this one They simply weren't convincing in terms of taste. Unfortunately, the pasta dish didn't taste like anything, seemed like a simple roux, the leg slice (for €26) was served cold (we had mentioned this and was explained by the fact that the roasted pepper underneath was served cold, which meant the meat was also cold) and Unfortunately it wasn't tender. The service seemed overwhelmed at times; we mentioned the requested salt three times. Overall we were very disappointed with our visit and cannot recommend the restaurant.

Great food, really delicious vegan food. There wasn't much choice, but what there was was great. Never had such a delicious beetroot before. Perhaps add more flavor to the margarine (mushrooms, herbs, garlic, etc.). The chairs were a bit uncomfortable in length and everything was very tight. However, the fairy lights and the awning brought out a lot visually and created a pleasant ambience. The staff was a bit stressed due to the full house. But still very friendly and accommodating. The drinks (non-alcoholic) were incredibly good and I had to pull myself together not to drink everything straight away 🤭 So all in all a great experience, we'll be back!

We became aware of you through friends and acquaintances who had talked a lot about 'We Accomplices'. We were positively impressed by the atmosphere and the terrace, and we also liked the concept. However, some dishes unfortunately didn't suit our taste. What I personally think is a shame is that there is no freshly squeezed orange juice. Orange juice with refined sugar doesn't fit with the overall concept - that's not possible. We didn't try the filter coffee because we prefer strong espresso. The waiters were polite but seemed very inexperienced. What struck me as particularly negative was that a waiter served in sweatpants, which was unfortunately the case that day. Overall it was okay, but the price-performance ratio is still not quite right. Some processes should be optimized here. Good luck for continued success! We may come back to try the evening menu.

Unfortunately, the kitchen was hopelessly overwhelmed on a Saturday evening in the summer. The main courses were brought to six people 45 minutes apart, so we couldn't actually eat together - except for three people who ordered the same dish. The waitress sold it as a concept beforehand - since the dishes were so spread out and the portions were small, sharing wouldn't have worked at all in the sequencing. In addition, most of the dishes were lukewarm at best and some orders were forgotten and only brought after we asked. It's a shame, we've been here several times and really enjoyed it before the new concept. There was no regret or interim information. Too bad! **EDIT 8/13/24: I find the restaurant's response unacceptable and disgraceful. The waitress' explanation of the concept on the evening in question was literally "our kitchen doesn't manage to bring out the food at the same time, so everything comes one after the other. But that's the case with everyone." Initially we were recommended to order the menu, but when we chose à la carte we were never told that we had not ordered enough. This could really be explained better, then there would be no misunderstandings/false expectations. Three drinks were waived, but one starter was overcharged - which we unfortunately only noticed afterwards. The dessert was a dessert we had ordered in advance and we didn't want to wait any longer and canceled it. Maybe it was not your evening - ok, but the communication just wasn't good. Otherwise, I wish you good luck with the further implementation of your concept.

We Accomplices comes with a very interesting concept, which I looked at with my girlfriend at the weekend. The menu for 2 promises a journey through various dishes, both “standard” and vegetarian. There is also wine, regional beer or other drinks. The plates were all really tasty. Since the selection changes monthly, it's good to find out about the options beforehand. The dishes this weekend were very interesting, and had a refreshing citrus note throughout, which went perfectly with the warm weather. We particularly liked the ricotta. As a side dish there is delicious farmer's bread, which is perfect for dipping. Overall, Wir Komplizen is a really great place for a cozy dinner (of course also brunch - which we still have to try out), with delicious, sometimes really surprising dishes, and very nice service. In addition, the ambience in the small courtyard is really unbeatable. Without question, you have to get involved in the concept and also be prepared to dig a little deeper into your wallet. It is a place for special evenings where you should just fully immerse yourself in what is coming. I would strongly recommend finding out more about the concept and the monthly selection and going a little further. Then it can without question be a really nice evening!

“we accomplices” was an outstanding experience! This restaurant literally invites you to fill the table and share the diverse delicacies. Regardless of whether it's fish and meat, vegetarian or vegan - everyone gets their money's worth here. The menu changes frequently and depends on the seasons, giving each visit a special touch. The cozy and casual pub atmosphere creates a relaxed environment where high quality, creative food is served. The carefully curated selection of drinks with seasonal cocktails, interesting non-alcoholic options, delicious beers and an impressive selection of natural wines from German-speaking countries perfectly rounds off the culinary experience. I was particularly impressed by the restaurant's own fermentation program. Thanks to this innovative approach, vegan and vegetarian dishes are prepared full of umami flavor. Classic dishes are given their own twist, often with unusual combinations or inspired by global cuisine, but always with local ingredients. The seasonal cuisine uses almost no spices and relies on home-made shoyus, miso pastes, garums and much more, all thanks to the koji mushroom that is grown here. Another plus point is the restaurant's sustainable approach. The collaboration with regional and small businesses, the zero-waste approach in the kitchen and the warm treatment in the team are exemplary. From vegetables grown in Frankfurt to great fish from the Wetterau to game, cheese and butter from the Odenwald - regional quality is very important here. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for innovative, sustainable and incredibly delicious cuisine. A big compliment to the entire team – I’ll definitely be back!

Super cute place and really lovely service! People are constantly asking if they can have something else and coffee/tea is included in the brunch, as well as tap water. The food was really amazing with lots of vegan and vegetarian options I'll definitely go there more often and I'm glad to have found such a great brunch spot in Frankfurt!

A culinary highlight that you can also afford. The prices are fair and balanced. Even more important, the food: for me, a restaurant is an experience when I eat there that I couldn't or wouldn't cook at home. This is definitely the case with We Accomplices. The combination of ingredients and menu sequence is unusual and surprising. Ambience in the backyard also excellent. Service might need a bit more experience ;) We had a lovely evening and would love to come back.

We had a great evening at Wir Komplizen last night and are absolutely thrilled! The location is great – stylish and informal. The shared menu offered an exciting selection of dishes that were impressive both in terms of taste and appearance. Every course was a real treat and was creatively presented. The portions in the menu were absolutely sufficient and the price-performance ratio is excellent. The service was attentive and friendly, which rounded off the experience perfectly. We had the share menu twice for 4 people. Vegetarian and normal. There are up to 7 courses in total. Including some sophisticated dishes, but for me with small weaknesses in the starters. But the main courses were very tasty. It could be a few more carbohydrates. You don't really get full. Despite many courses. The service is attentive and super pleasant. The ambience is quite simple.

I was very surprise by this amazing place. Very creative and delicious kebabs! They still keep the bases while offering a completely new experience. I will for sure come back to try the rest of their amazing menú. 10/10 :))

The homemade vegetarian poke bowl was delicious. It's a cute little place, with only ten seats and very little standing space. It's beautifully decorated and lit. I find the prices, especially for Frankfurt, to be very reasonable, actually low. The 'regular' portion size (poke bowl) was quite filling. There was even table service after ordering at the counter. I don't know if they cleared the table and you can pay at your seat. To my amusement, the entrance door opened a little several times, probably due to gusts of wind, and immediately slammed shut. Unfortunately, the table was a bit sticky; especially with the low customer base (just before 8 p.m., with only two takeaway customers during my meal), I just expected someone to wipe it down. The music was a bit too loud, which somewhat hindered communication at the counter.

Beautiful ambiance + point Great service + point The food itself was very tasty... BUT... There were four of us, and we pre-ordered a whole goose. Yes, we knew it would cost a hefty 200 euros. We received a bowl of Brussels sprouts, a bowl of red cabbage, gravy, and six dumplings. In addition, four small plates arrived, each containing two wings and two drumsticks. We assumed the breast, etc. (the rest of the goose) would be served later. Therefore, we didn't order any additional side dishes. The plates were cleared, and after we inquired, we were told that this was all. The breast was supposed to be attached to the drumsticks and wings. Sorry, absolutely not... we go out for goose every year... and are happy to spend a bit more. But that was a complete rip-off... Discussing it was pointless since the waitress made it clear to us that that was it... we noticed that other guests were also very surprised. I find it really sad that such an experience and the owner's greed drive away customers, even though the service and the atmosphere are very nice... A real shame...
