I regularly stay at the Hotel Eggers, so I often dine at the Laurent with Angelo and his wonderful crew. The food is simply wonderful. It's always nice to be here.

I highly recommend LAURENT. I had a wonderful evening, enjoyed high-quality food, and received extremely friendly, appreciative, and thoughtful service. The service is truly exceptional. I sat on the terrace and, after sunset, was asked if I was cold and needed a blanket. I would especially like to highlight the lighting concept and ambiance. There's an absolutely comfortable atmosphere. The food was magnificent—and yes, it was the best Caesar salad I've ever eaten. Before the main course, there was crispy baguette, olives, and tuna dip. I was very pleased with the excellent olive oil and balsamic vinegar that came with it.

Cozy interior and delicious food

From the appetizer to the dessert, everything was delicious. The tiramisu was touted as "amazing," and it certainly lived up to its promise.

The lunch menu is not only worth the price, but also of outstanding quality. While Rahlstedt is one of the lesser-known parts of Hamburg, Laurent certainly doesn't deserve this disadvantage.

Authentic, delicious, and always with excellent service, this restaurant impresses all around. The food is of high, healthy quality and served in a relaxed, stylish atmosphere, especially for this area. I eat here regularly and have always been completely satisfied. If you want to enjoy real, authentic Italian food instead of eating at a run-of-the-mill fast-food restaurant, this is the place to go.

What a place! We found this restaurant as a last resort heading to the airport, best choice I’ve made in a while. While being situated very centric near a busy road, the outside area is great to sit- if I didn’t have a flight to catch I would’ve stayed for another hour and drink an aperol. The food was amazing and the portions sizes were appropriate. I can definitely recommend the off menu specials! The service was super attentive, asking very often if anything else is needed and if everything was okay. Will go back here for sure!

Everything is just right in this restaurant. Delicious and beautifully presented food, attentive yet relaxed service, and a very nice interior. The prices are absolutely justified for what you get. I absolutely recommend it without reservation.

Food was pretty good! But, the service was abysmal. Took over an hour for the appetizer to come out. Then another hour for the entree. Then 30+ minutes to get the check. We just wanted to leave by the end. At this price point, we expected much more from the service.

We were only here briefly to eat a carbonara. We still really enjoyed it! Good service and very tasty food. The portion looked a bit small, but that's deceptive!

We were guests on May 1st, 2025 with 12 people. The personal greeting from Angelo already opened the mood for the evening. Starter, main course whether fish or meat and last but not least the dessert were of excellent quality. The hospitality had a personal touch and rounded off the restaurant experience. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed everything very much.

It's all the better that the Laurent not only meets our high standards, but regularly exceeds them. The cuisine is exclusive without being exaggerated - simply incredibly tasty, authentic and with great attention to detail. Every visit is a pleasure at the highest level and at the same time wonderfully comfortable. The atmosphere is warm, relaxed and invites you to feel completely at home. Conclusion: If you want to experience a real Italian lifestyle and excellent cuisine, Laurent is the right place for you. Yes, delicious food and great service

We celebrated my daughter's baptism with over 30 guests at Laurent du. Everything was great: the food was incredibly delicious - everyone was thrilled, the staff were, as always, very attentive and the atmosphere was inviting and cozy. Really all the guests only spoke positively about Laurent! We are very happy to come back and are already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you!

The Laurent is a great Italian restaurant in Rahlstedt, right in the Hotel Eggers. Parking spaces are in the hotel parking lot and are therefore in the immediate vicinity. The restaurant is stylishly furnished. The menu offers a few typical dishes, as well as daily specials. Everything was pretty tasty and beautifully presented. First of all: tomato soup/vitello tonnato Pasta: Arrabiata/Carbonara Everything was really tasty… great service and great ambience! The price is a bit “high”, but it fits! 👍 We'll be back... we really enjoyed it all around.

We love this place!! Every time we visit family in Hamburg, we go to Laurent. The food is outstanding, the staff amazing, and the restaurant has a wonderful, cosy atmosphere.

Mega Italian taste and service in the east of Hamburg: LAURENT remains on good track. After a very successful start phase, Angelo and his team have begun to gradually expand the food and wine offerings. The large amount of customer feedback has been gratefully received and, in many cases, lovingly implemented. The highlight last week was the new ice cream dessert, a taste fireworks display. A homemade ice cream specialty, rich in contrast, a delight for the palate and the eye, a great addition to the delicious dessert classics. Variety is fun :-) please keep it on the menu permanently!! We are already looking forward to our next visit to LAURENT.

I celebrated my birthday there on January 4, 2025 with 14 guests and both I and my guests were very impressed with everything: the birthday menu, which was recommended to me in a personal preliminary conversation with the restaurant manager, Mr. Götting, as well as the friendly and nice service and the beautiful ambience! There was a mixed antipasti platter (3 types) served separately for each guest, as the main course rump steak, cooked to perfection, separately for each guest's request! Or alternatively delicious cod with various side dishes and for dessert a top tiramisu, as it should be - creamy and not mushy. Everything is a pleasure! All of my guests found the portions to be adequate and very delicious! I've been here several times on different occasions and will definitely come back. Like my guests, who didn't know it before!! Thank you for a very nice, successful evening!

I booked a table for three people through Open table three days before New Year's Eve. On the night of New Year's Eve we received an email announcing what would happen for the evening. I read this email on New Year's Eve morning. It announced that there would be a fixed menu, which was not clear to us and we did not find any information about it on the homepage. This menu should cost 99 euros without drinks. We were given the feeling that there was a lot of demand for this event and that we should please RSVP by 12:00. If we don't do that, it will be considered a rejection. What a way to not welcome guests. This email was also sent to many other guests, visible to everyone. This is questionable in terms of data protection law. This experience with this restaurant is a real shame; there was no response to our answer. I don't think that's how you treat guests.

Yesterday we had dinner at LAURENT with the family and what can I say it was very, very good!!!! Service was great!!!! Our wishes were taken into account and even the extra 😜 wishes were fulfilled to our complete satisfaction. The quiet, full ambience and the cleanliness are exemplary. The service was very attentive and friendly. Keep it up ❣️ we’ll be happy to come back 😉!

What an all-round successful evening. The staff is very attentive, polite and friendly. The food was perfect!!! I had the daily special. Grilled tuna that was so tender it melted in your mouth. It's a little more expensive, but it's really worth it!!! A great high-class Italian. Grace!!!

Four of us went to the restaurant for dinner. Our two kiddies, ages 1 and 3, and we were warmly welcomed by the restaurant team. Overall, the service was impeccable: when the glass was empty, we immediately asked if we wanted another drink and the team was more than attentive in other ways too. The food was also very tasty and, despite some traditional dishes that you wouldn't expect from a fine Italian restaurant (lasagna, spaghetti carbonara), tasted refreshingly different. The cuisine here is quite creative and very good. The only drawback - and also the only reason why we "only" gave it four stars - is the price-performance ratio: 49€ for an Argentinian beef fillet and 29€ for a portion of pasta with truffles and parmesan - a real house number - too for Hamburg standards and the restaurant is not in the center…. If only the portions were big enough. Our picture sums it up well: well prepared food but unfortunately only in very small portions.

I was at the Laurent Restaurant with my wife on Wednesday, November 20th, 2024 around lunchtime. After we were enthusiastic about the Laurent Restaurant in Bad Oldesloe, we definitely had to try the culinary delicacies at Laurent Hamburg Rahlstedt. We parked to the left of the restaurant next to a hotel. You can park there for free and then go through the hotel entrance, past the reception and down a hallway to the beautiful restaurant. Just the walk to the restaurant invites you to do more. We were greeted by the staff smiling and helpful. The interior is very attractive, modern and high quality. Those who set up the Laurent restaurants know their craft. This is a warm rather than cool facility. We immediately felt very comfortable. These types of designed restaurants appeal to us. This is also reflected in the food. We were approached by an always nice and very personable employee named Nina. When I asked about the daily specials, she just blurted it out. She explained to us exactly which daily specials were offered in addition to the actual menu. It was a fish, meat and pasta dish for 19.90 euros each. A salad would also be offered for 19.90 euros. We chose 3 dishes. Meat (rump steak with rosemary potatoes) etc., zander fillet with saffron sauce with a kind of risotto and pasta Bolognese style with either minced meat or salmon. We decided on the minced meat version. Nina looked after us very carefully the entire time. She made our stay even more pleasant. A visit to a restaurant often depends on the staff. At Laurent Bad Oldesloe and Rahlstedt you will be pampered by first-class staff. Before the daily specials were served, we were given a small soup of the day. It was a carrot and ginger soup that was perfectly seasoned. We were served bread as a side dish. I felt transported back. My mother used to cook an old Schleswig-Holstein dish called “Rübenmalheur” in the fall/winter. The soup we were served was exceptional. The ordered daily specials came afterwards. I photographed the 3 wonderfully prepared dishes. Over the last 2 years I have been really lucky with my choice of restaurants. Laurent is simply one of the top addresses. Whether rump steak or zander. It was just perfect. We swap the 3 dishes several times. The flavors were overwhelming. The Bolognese is very tasty and fruity. We are happy to give full marks for all categories. The ambience, staff and food were top class. Thanks to Nina and her nice colleagues for their loving care. Keep it up. We'll be back. We have already been guests at the previous hotel, the Epura, and have always been very satisfied and have also invited the family there for Christmas dinner. Now we were at LAURENT for the first time and were pretty disillusioned. First of all: The service was TOP from A to Z👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻Sometimes it was a bit too much of a good thing 😉 The food, on the other hand, didn't really convince us. The bruschetta bread wasn't even warmed up and was partly rock hard (at least the edge). There were no spices on it at all, so I had to season it myself with oil, balsamic vinegar, salt & pepper. The spaghetti aglio e olio was not seasoned at all (except for the garlic). And I suspect that the garlic also contains dry granules. However, the carpaccio of my companion was said to be very good. The penne arrabiata with beef fillet was said to be quite okay. Conclusion: Christmas dinner will probably take place somewhere else this year... Addendum: Google wants to delete my review because of defamation. So much for freedom of expression and a well-intentioned review. I would be more happy to hear a statement from the restaurant. But here probably not so good reviews will simply be deleted.

Delicious food cooked to perfection. Friendly staff that let you sit and visit for as long as you wish. I had the pasta dish night one and spaghetti was cooked al dente as it should. Lots of flavor and an adequate portion to fill me up. Night two I had the fish special and it was delicious. It was served with a large fresh salad which was unexpected and very appreciated. Very reasonable prices for the food and wine.

It was another wonderful evening. The food was a dream and couldn't be beaten, the Lugano wine was fruity and light, the service was competent, reserved and very friendly. In October we will eat there with our friends, they will definitely like it!

When I ordered a table, I was assured that there would only be very quiet music in the restaurant. We came in the evening and discovered that the 'very quiet music' was 0-8-15 rumms thumps thumps thumps thumps thumps of the audience. A young lady from the service told me that she liked the sound. Now of course everyone can address the audience they like. He just needs to be honest when asked. Well, it wasn't 'rumms booms screech', but also 'rumms booms' Alone in there is no 'quiet music', just rumms thumps.

Zu unserem heutigen Hochzeitstag haben wir das Restaurant Laurent besucht. Wir reservierten einen Tisch 2 Wochen vorher. Ich bestellte Scaloppine Gorgonzola. Zarte Schweineschnitzel in würziger Gorgonzola Sauce. Das Gericht war hübsch angerichtet, dazu gab es Rosmarin Kartoffeln und gedünstetes Gemüse. Das war sehr lecker und ausreichend portioniert. Meine Frau hatte Penne al Gorgonzola und ihr schmeckte es auch gut. Als Dessert bestellte ich Tiramisu. Auch das war gut dekoriert und groß genug. Und natürlich lecker. Der Service war gut und unauffällig. Bei tollen Spätsommer Wetter saßen wir draußen im Vorgarten. Da die Begrünung hoch genug war, sieht man die Straße nicht. Ausreichend Sonnenschirme waren aufgestellt . Da wir mit dem Fahrrad unterwegs waren parkten wir direkt vor Tür. Alles im allem sind wir zufrieden und satt nach Hause gefahren.

Restaurant Laurent: When freshness isn't everything What's wrong with the price/performance ratio? Too good to be really bad, but too bad for 4.7 stars (as of 9/3/24). If the dishes were €7-10 cheaper, everything would be ok, because the quality is there! But: where is the taste? There was a lack of spice, there was a lack of courage. The dishes seemed as inspired as a Monday morning.
Example: The Italian appetizer platter. A parade of boredom! As if someone had randomly put together everything that a stereotypical Italian vacationer would think of when asked for an appetizer. A lot of uninspired mainstream on one plate. The Laurent is like a beautifully wrapped gift with gray socks inside - solid but without spark. Fresh, yes. But also somehow maximally uninspired.

Nice atmosphere and delicious food. But the portions are ridiculously small. My 13 year old son had a pasta dish for €18 and we had to buy him something to eat on the way home. Parents weren't nearly full either.

Wir waren anlässlich des Geburtstags meiner Frau dort und haben Zanderfilet gegessen. Das Essen war auf den Punkt gegart und schön heiß als es bei uns ankam. Die Zubereitung war super schnell. Der Service war erstklassig. Wir wurden bestimmt 3x von verschiedenen Servicekräften gefragt, ob es uns schmeckt. Die Servicekräfte waren im Allgemeinen sehr aufmerksam. Als wir ankamen wurden uns sogar die Jacken abgenommen und aufgehängt. Anlässlich des Geburtstags gab es dann auch noch ein super leckeres Tiramisu aufs Haus. Dieses wurde mit dem Song Happy Birthday und einer kleinen Fontäne zu unserem Tisch gebracht. Das Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich. Fur uns war es ein rundum tolles Erlebnis! Wir kommen gerne wieder! 😊

Our absolute favorite restaurant! The staff is super attentive and friendly, and the food is hard to beat in terms of taste and quality. We go there regularly and haven't had a single bad experience - the quality is consistently good. The only negative thing I can say is that we realize it will be difficult to eat anywhere else afterwards - this restaurant simply sets the bar extremely high. 🥰 We can only warmly recommend it to everyone!
