Einer meiner Lieblingsorte in Berlin!

Wir haben die äthiopische Küche entdeckt. Mit Lamm, Rind, Gemüse und besonderen Gewürzen. Dazu afrikanisches Bier. Alles sehr lecker. Schneller Service, faire Preise, sehr freundliches Personal.

Wir hatten so ein Glück, hier die Osterveranstaltung mitzuerleben! Wir haben das Buffet genossen, und jedes Gericht war unglaublich lecker! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Authentisch, lecker, freundlich.

Ich bin Äthiopierin und das ist der beste Ort für Injera in Berlin. Die Eintöpfe sind authentisch und geschmackvoll. Der Service ist immer top (10/10) und im Sommer kann man sogar draußen sitzen. Auch für Veganer gibt es eine große Auswahl.

Ich bin ein großer Fan der äthiopischen Küche und habe sie schon in vielen Ländern genossen. Meiner Meinung nach wurde das Essen im Langano zu sehr an den deutschen Geschmack angepasst und verliert dadurch viel von seinem Reiz für alle, die authentische äthiopische Küche suchen. Hinzu kommt, dass die Portionen klein und die Currys fad sind. Außerdem waren das Brot und einige der Currys kalt, was enttäuschend war.

Wirklich köstlich. Sehr freundliche Leute. Angenehme Atmosphäre. Wir kommen wieder!

Meine Freundin und ich hatten ein fantastisches Abendessen im Langano. Der Service war freundlich, das Essen hervorragend und die Atmosphäre sehr einladend. Von allen äthiopischen Restaurants, die ich in Nordeuropa besucht habe, ist dies mit Abstand das beste!

Die Leute waren sehr nett und mir hat besonders das Bananenbier geschmeckt. Allerdings dauert die Zubereitung des Essens sehr lange und es war uns etwas zu sauer.

Einfach überteuert und von schlechter Qualität. 7 € für eine winzige Suppe, die buchstäblich nur aus einer Tasse Brühe mit Tiefkühlgemüse besteht. Der Teller zum Teilen für 27 € ist nur halb voll.

I've eaten there several times, and the food has always been fantastic (nicely aromatic and not as Germanized as other Ethiopian restaurants in Berlin), and today we even got a free second helping of Misir Wot (my favorite dish). The owner is really nice and has a good mood. It's a pleasant place to sit on a side street. The prices are also very reasonable. We'd love to come back!

We were there with friends and I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical at first. But the warm welcome and the clear menu quickly convinced me. What's special: There is no cutlery - people traditionally eat with their hands. The food was beautifully prepared and tasted simply outstanding. Particularly impressive: many Ethiopian guests also come here, which speaks for the authenticity of the cuisine.

Langano is one of the best Ethiopian restaurants I know. The food is delicious and the staff is super friendly. I eat here regularly and I can only recommend it to everyone.

Amazing unique food that worth to try

First class Ethiopian food, delicious African beer from Ghana, South Africa and Ethiopia. Very friendly service and also very inexpensive. Absolute recommendation!!!

The food was not as expected or as it should have been, the quantity was very small compared to the price. In addition, the price in the menu did not match the price in the billing, as the taxes were only added afterwards to the amount (which was already excessively high in relation to the food that was offered).

Always a pleasure. The food is delicious, the atmosphere always very nice, the owner is a great host. Very tasty vegan options. Long opening hours are a big plus. Perfect place to dine with friends in a relaxed atmosphere.

In my opinion the bread would’ve been better if it was warm, but what do I know 😂. The vegetarian stews were ok, probably the meat ones are more flavorful. Takes a bit of getting used to. Friendly service.

Service was excellent. The owner of the restaurant was additionally taking care of the experience in there! I’m using the word experience since the interior has a room in a typical Ethiopian fashion and the atmosphere really does enable you to travel to another place. The waitress was also caring and well-mannered. Food was wonderful and what you get for the price is plenty.

Delicious Ethiopian food and cosy atmosphere! I recommend going with some friends and ordering their shared platters. That way, you'll get to taste a bit of everything, it's really worth it! For some extra fun, order coffee! ;-)

Really enjoyable meal and great relaxed atmosphere for a Sunday night. We got a veggie and a meat combi between two people, the green lentil, beef and lamb stews were stand out. The waitresse was delightful!

A bit unusual for a German location but adapted to eating habits. Friendly staff reasonable waiting time and food prtion and price realistic.

As restaurants around the neighbourhood were closing down, we found this spot that is open until late, and it was a great surprise! We shared the "Vegetarian Variation for 2 people", it was flavourful and a great portion. Since the price of the shared plate was so good, we were also able to also order drinks and I can recommend, both alcoholic and non alcoholic options. The staff was incredibly nice and polite and the atmosphere in the restaurant is great. On the way to the bathroom I kept stoping to look at details, decoration and displays.

Eines meiner Stamm-Restaurants in Berlin und eine große Empfehlung. Absolut tolles Essen in einem gemütlichen Ambiente. Dazu noch ein unglaublich netter und herzlicher Inhaber. Nach über 10 Besuchen in dem Restaurant ist es jedes Mal eine pure Freude, wieder dort zu sein. Meine Empfehlung: Sambusa als Vorspeise und anschließend die Platte für 2 oder 3 Personen zum teilen. Einen herzlichen Dank für eure Gastfreundschaft, die große Bereicherung, das leckere Essen und die gesamte Erfahrung bei euch einzukehren. Bis demnächst, bleibt wie ihr seid!

Wir waren mit den Kindern zu Abend essen und bestellten ein Menü für 4 Personen . Das Essen war super . Verschiedene Lammspezialitäten und Curry wurden auf Fladenbrot serviert. Gegessen wurde mit den Fingern , zur Freude meiner Kinder .

The garlic soup is delicious! There are definitely much better places for Ethiopian in Berlin though. It may be that I just had a couple of bad experiences but I was disappointed twice. The first time I got the "chickpea formed dumplings" and was served chickpeas stew. Never had this dish before so maybe I'm not sure what to expect but the menu clearly says they are formed not just stewed beans. The second time I got a meat platter. This was pretty gross actually. It tasted like it was not fresh and was just warmed-up older food. Yuck. The egg in the doro wat was pretty rubbery like it was microwaved or something. Really bad. Portion was also very small and there were no veggies like usually found on mixed platters. Sad really because the reviews are great and the pictures look awesome. I think mine was just yuck but it happened twice now. Very disappointed

Really nice and good Ethiopian restaurant. I went there due to a friend's recommendation and it was worth it. The staff there is super nice and even changed the dishes a bit because of an allergy. We had a vegetarian mixes platter and a roasted beef dish. This was amazingly good, full of flavour and very satisfying. I will definitely come back again.

An Ethiopian friend brought me here saying it's a trip to Ethiopia! And indeed it was. We got the 3 person platter to share between 4 and it was just perfect portion for us. The platter consists of variety of curries, stir fry, vegetables and meat dishes sitting on top of Injera, the famous Ethiopian flat bread. It was fantastic platter of complex dishes, one better than the other! The bread however I thought was a bit dry. The only other negative is the ambience during the day, it is just too dark inside. But if you're like me, this shouldn't bother you much. The food is fantastic, don't miss this place.

Il cibo etiope mi è sempre molto piaciuto, già a Padova lo mangiai e mi piacque. Il mio compagno, che è per metà somalo mi sembrava giusto mangiare un piatto che con il sapore e il cuore ci facesse ritornare nel cuore del corno d'Africa 💚. Il titolare è un buon uomo, solare e molto accattivante riesce a tenere banco e a servire con professionalità i suoi cari clienti, ci mette anima e si sente..ci ha trasmesso un senso di casa. Il cibo è incantevole, bisogna assolutamente provarlo, sia il piatto vegetariano che non, tutto delizioso e impeccabile poi il ristorante è situato in un bel posto della città. Evviva e grazie 👍❤️

Bei Langano gibt es super leckeres äthiopisches Essen und dazu passende Getränke. Absolute Empfehlung 👍 Das Essen hat echt spannend geschmeckt und war gut gewürzt. Es gibt noch ein paar Sachen, die ich hier gerne ausprobieren würde (hab die Kaffeezeremonie) Die Atmosphäre ist echt cool, die Bedienung freundlich. Hier kann man echt eine gute Zeit verbringen :)

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, Essen schmeckt fantastisch. Wenn ich nochmal äthiopisches essen verzehren möchte, werde ich wieder hier her kommen. 😀

This is a great Ethiopian restaurant that serves the authentic shared dishes. We had the vegetarian dish for 3 and the flavours were amazing! Quantity of food was good and the fruit bears tasty. I would recommend 10/10. 👌

Gute Atmosphäre, sehr netter Service. Das essen war für uns etwas neues, vor allem, da man es mit Händen isst. Genau diese Erfahrung wollte ich auch machen. Punkte Abzüge gibt es aber: - Essen mit Händen kenne ich bisher so, dass man eine Schlüssel mit Wasser bekommt oder zumindest ein Feuchtetuch. - es waren außer uns nur 1 weiteres paar im Restaurant und wir haben knapp 40min aufs Essen gewartet. - Preis Leistung stimmte für mich nicht. Satt wurden wir zum großen Teil nur durch das Brot. Die eigentlichen Gerichte wurden nur sparsam verteilt auch beim Fleisch war man mMn sparsam für den Preis. Nette Erfahrung Afrikanisch zu essen, aber nicht unbedingt einen 2ten Besuch wert.

Sehr feines Essen und leckeres Bier aus Ghana (Dju Dju, Mango, Banane, Ananas). Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und die Atmosphäre mit passender Musik macht den Besuch rund. Klare Empfehlung für jemand der gern Essen aus aller Welt probiert. Und für die anderen auch!

Das Essen schmeckt lecker, oben drauf sehr nettes Personal. Ich empfehle es jedem, der äthiopisches, kulinarisches Essen ausprobieren möchte.

I have to laugh about some of the reviews here that say "it's not that exotic" or "not that special". Not every cuisine from a country further south or east of europe has to be a firework of spices and heat. Instead of making assumptions on how ethiopean food "should" taste, be open about it, try it, ask questions, maybe even read up on other cultures and their produce once in a while? The prices are absolutely fair as well, especially if you bare in mind the cooking process. We had a shared vegetarian platters for three (€31,90) tried several of the dju dju beers and a honey wine. The meal is served on the ethiopean fermented sourdough "pancakes" injera. _The service was welcoming, quick & attentive but in a relaxed way. When I asked details about the food we had, he charmingly explained it to us. Even though we were quite full after the meal we got some extra sauce, which we savoured to the last bit. _the food itself was lovely too. One thing I didn't rave about was the red beet but the rest of the selection was delicious and rather filling. Were talking healthy legume proteins, savoury sauces and creamy cabbage that was balanced by the acidity of the injera. _the drinks were cold and good. I preferred the pineapple djudju over the mango one or the honey wine. Pro tip: Leave some of the injera that is not covered with sauce till the end, so you can scoop up the soggier parts with it to finish your plate and keep your finger clean. Thank you langano!

I wish I could say it was great. It’s a cute place with outside seating. The food is mediocre at best and not cheap. Service is very slow.
