Young team, vegetarian cuisine... very tasty! After all the meat-heavy dishes in Rothenburg... whoops, only vegetarian here, when I'd really prefer a pork knuckle... but no, it was very, very delicious! I didn't miss the meat at all! And a delicious cellar beer to go with it... it was great. The restaurant is quite busy, currently serving mulled wine in the garden. Overall, very nice!

It's actually a cool pub, with good beer and great service. But the music got so loud towards the end that any conversation degenerated into shouting at each other... Sorry, loud music is fine, but if you can't even have a conversation anymore, I might as well go for a walk in the woods alone... 👎

We spontaneously decided to stop in one evening and were lucky enough to get a table. The service was incredibly friendly, and even though the place was packed, our drinks and food arrived quickly. And the staff always had a friendly smile on their faces. What more could you ask for? The Käsespätzle (cheese spaetzle) were delicious and highly recommended.

Unfortunately, only vegetarian food was available, but it was still good.

We spent three days in Rothenburg and ended each evening at Landwehr Bräu am Turm. We felt very comfortable; the owner and staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. I would come back again and again! There were twelve of us (with a reservation) and we were completely satisfied! The food is absolutely delicious, and there's a weekly changing menu of three dishes (which still makes it hard to choose because everything sounds so good 🌝). They only offer vegetarian and vegan options, which is a very welcome change for us in Rothenburg. For vegans: oat and soy milk are also available for hot drinks. The prices are very reasonable. The team is incredibly friendly and attentive, and the concept and atmosphere are extremely inviting – a perfect blend of rustic, cozy, and modern, but not "too hipster."

Unfortunately, I can't recommend this "restaurant." Not only is it now a vegetarian restaurant, but there were only three dishes. We were greeted at the entrance with two rainbow flags. To make matters worse, we told the male waitress that their website wasn't up to date and that they should update it. THE REPLY WAS VERY, VERY RUDE. We just wanted to give future visitors the opportunity to prepare for the fact that there are no meat dishes here, as one might assume. All in all, I think my review will be deleted anyway. P.S. The only interesting thing is that the employees there seem to have a very hard time doing arithmetic in their heads. 🤣

The ambience is just as great as the tenth beer, always happy to come back!

No trace of Franconian cuisine, with three vegetarian dishes to choose from. Cheese spaetzle, where you can only just make out the cheese, comes with tomato sauce. This could only be sold to Asians as local cuisine.

Delicious food and you immediately feel welcome, even if you stay longer than planned.

This pub is truly fantastic, beautifully decorated inside and very cozy. There's also a beer garden with matching furnishings. The beers are delicious, the staff friendly and attentive, and the prices are absolutely reasonable. Anyone staying in this beautiful and historic city is well advised to stop by. It's definitely worth it.

Vegetarian and vegan restaurant. The food was very nice. It was only a small munu but everything was fresh and full of flavour. The service was excellent, the staff were very helpful.

It was so good to find a vegetarian restaurant here. My husband who is a meat lover even said his meal was nicer than the schnitzel he had the day before.

After dinner, we headed to the cozy Landwehr-Bräu pub for a drink. The pub was close to our hotel, just past the Siebersturm tower on the main street near the Plönlein. Inside, it was already quiet as the time approached 11 PM, but we wanted to enjoy the warm summer evening on its charming, small outdoor terrace right next to the castle wall. There were still quite a few people on the terrace, and only one waiter-bartender seemed to be managing the entire pub, so service took a little while. Despite being busy, he was friendly enough. We enjoyed our drinks in the pleasant atmosphere and then returned to our hotel. This pub is a lovely spot to visit for drinks!

The Kellerbier and the "Renner" were delicious. The menu changes weekly and is primarily vegetarian/vegan. The lemon spaetzle and the celery schnitzel were incredibly delicious👍🏼😋 We ate in the beer garden; the service was very friendly and on top of everything👍🏼 Keep up the good work!

A great place for an evening drink. You can sit comfortably on the steps, but you can also enjoy one of the delicious vegetarian/vegan dishes inside or in the outdoor seating area. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The food is absolutely delicious and prepared with love. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Highly recommended! Very delicious food and drinks. Tastes really good and healthy at the same time, as everything isn't too sweet, fatty, etc. For example, the lime-cherry lemonade tastes very fresh and has lots of berries instead of unnecessary sugar. We were all very impressed and wish we could come here more often 😊

Not only vegans and vegetarians should definitely visit this restaurant – the food is sure to be delicious for omnivores, too. A stop at the inn or beer garden is also recommended for the beer and the ambiance.

Cozy meeting place for young and old

Unreasonably priced and there is a fund for everything, including a beer glass for the beer we bought from here. Surprisingly, there is no additional funds for cutlery!

A truly friendly and young addition to this beautiful city. The food is simple and honest at good prices. The wine is delicious and the beer excellent. We came here three times in one week because it's simply uncomplicated and cool.

The tarte flambée was a pizza with mozzarella and tomato. Delicious, but not what a tarte flambée is. The Landwehrbräu is a matter of debate. As a Hessian, it wasn't to my taste.

On a overnight visit to Rothenburg ob der Tauber. We had stumbled across this lovely little place earlier in the day but the Biergarten was full. We came back when the majority of the town centre watering holes were closed. The small but very nice Biergarten can be found around the side of the building, to the rear. Our party enjoyed a Helles, Weißbier and a Radler. I must admit the Helles was one of the nicest I have tried on my visits to Bavaria & Franconia. We will be back next time we are in the area, for definite.

When we came to Rothenburg with my family, we didn't know that the restaurants closed their kitchens early. All the restaurants said they closed their kitchens. But the staff at this place opened their kitchens for us and did a very kind gesture to prevent us from going to bed hungry. Many thanks to the friendly and helpful staff.

A bit limited in selection, especially vegan dishes, but tasty.

Lekker vegetarisch gegeten (bowl met friet, flamkuche), goed alcoholvrij bier, sympathieke bediening en heerlijke (hard)rockmuziek. Ze zijn hier lekker zichzelf en dat is enorm te waarderen!

Great beer garden with great service

Unfortunately, our expectations of a delicious vegetarian meal were dashed this time. Fries with salad and a small piece of eggplant. The fries were standard fare from the freezer. We didn't need to make the trip for this meal; it could have been made at home in 15 minutes. The disappointment also stems from the fact that our previous visits have always offered a very tasty and unusual vegetarian meal. PS: If the drinks menu lists 0.5 liters of beer, but they serve 0.4 liters, then the menu should be changed 😉

The beer is very good, the service was very good. For dinner, I had a tarte flambée, which wasn't my cup of tea. It was pickled gherkins, radishes, arugula, and a sauce, so it was more of an unusual tarte flambée. But overall, I'd say everything was top-notch.

Delicious food, delicious beer. It's a shame that there are only 3 dishes.

Unfortunately that was nothing. Since the beer garden was full, we looked for a place inside. There was enough space. We waited 20 minutes for someone to come for the drinks. And yes, we announced at the counter beforehand that we would sit down. Then we waited another 40 minutes for the food. The dumplings were still unfinished and hard on the inside. And no, we couldn't complain because no one came to our table. The couple next to us wasn't doing any better. We hope it was May 1st and we were just unlucky that the service was subpar. It's a shame, because the team consisted entirely of young people!

Really chill gastropub / brewery. There aren't that many food options, but what they have is super tasty (and vegetarian if need/like)

Food delicious, not enough, rest bad! We were crammed into a table of 10 people that was much too small (previously reserved for 10 people). The tables pushed together have different heights; you eat on edges and no one has room. There is a lack of cutlery, the condition is uncoordinated. The food tastes good, but far too little! There is no option to order an appetizer or dessert. You leave hungry or probably order the same thing again for around €13. Had three mini dumplings after a long wait. Price/performance is also rather poor. There was nothing vegan that evening, even though the restaurant is described as vegetarian/vegan. With all the deductions, even the good taste of the micro dumplings can no longer do anything: bad restaurant!

Es ist einmal eine gute Kneipe für die Menschen in Rothenburg gewesen. Heute kann man nur einen Punkt positiver Natur benennen: die Bar- und Bedienmädels sind hübsch. PUNKT ! Ansonsten no Flair, kein Lächeln, einfach nur Bestellungen abarbeiten. Bereits ca. eine halbe Stunde vor der sog. „Letzten Bestellung“ wird hinter dem Tresen abgeräumt, geputzt, gemacht und getan.
