Es ist einmal eine gute Kneipe für die Menschen in Rothenburg gewesen. Heute kann man nur einen Punkt positiver Natur benennen: die Bar- und Bedienmädels sind hübsch. PUNKT ! Ansonsten no Flair, kein Lächeln, einfach nur Bestellungen abarbeiten. Bereits ca. eine halbe Stunde vor der sog. „Letzten Bestellung“ wird hinter dem Tresen abgeräumt, geputzt, gemacht und getan.

Very good beer but it had never happened to us to go to a pub in the evening and have only 3 vegetarian dishes on the menu! Friendly staff but very slow service. We would have gone out but we had already ordered the beers!!

Great drinks but a limited food menu

No options, small portions for the 4 set items on the "day menu". Called to reserve for lunch and they didn't even mention that there was basically no food. Food took forever to arrive. Place is ok for a beer, nice sitting area outside. Very disappointed experience overall.

Really nice and rustic location. Great selection of drinks for very fair prices, despite the location near Plönlein, which is very popular with tourists. Definitely worth a visit!

I was expecting more of a home-style inn - it's more of a nice place with a Yuppi atmosphere. Clear menu (during our visit: 3 main courses - that's it). Be sure to make a reservation (when it's warm, the outdoor dining area is full). Luckily the Gatsgarten is not on the “main tourist route” but towards the back - really positive.

Staff without structure, one doesn't know what the other is doing. Only vegetarian dishes and there are only three to choose from. Dishes are far too expensive and far too little, spaetzle is completely over salted. When you go to a brewery you expect hearty local dishes, but here you will only be disappointed

Great little beer garden in the yard. A reservation is mandatory otherwise you could be out of luck. Flammkuchen and Kellerbier are highly recommended and delicious. Service very good and accommodating. It was a nice stopover. Recommended.

Great atmosphere right in the old town, cozy and traditional interiors and a small beer garden behind the tower. The restaurant doesn't have much space, so reservations will probably have to be made in the evening. The service was perfect and vegan versions of the dishes were even prepared upon request. Here too there were only three dishes to choose from, but they were really tasty. The lemonades and iced tea are also highly recommended. A little more shade in the beer garden area would be great.

Excellent food. Waiting for the food was worth it. The pinsa and pasta were great!!!! The beer is also great and the atmosphere is very pleasant. It's worth trying. I thought it was great to have few food options, as they focus on making really good dishes! I loved the place and recommend it!

Great old house with a great team! We like the beer and the ginger shot, the food was wonderful. Very relaxing to find such great vegetarian/vegan alternatives between all the bratwursts. We'll definitely stop by again

Good atmosphere. Friendly staff. They have known how to adapt a traditional style establishment to current times without losing its essence and roots of the typical wine inns (winestub). They have achieved a relaxing atmosphere within a traditional style. They have managed to bring light into a typical dark place, achieving a pleasant light effect with soft tones. Congratulations to the young people who run this place. They have managed to create a unique atmosphere without losing the essence of Rothenburg's golden age.

Super cute, idyllic restaurant with a great selection of beers and drinks. Both the beer and the spaetzle were delicious. The price-performance ratio is definitely right here! The service seemed a bit disorganized here and there, but still very friendly. We would come again.

Nice beer garden with delicious cold beer. Very attentive waiter and quick service. Away from the main road and not flooded with tourists.

Good place for beer but the food choices were extremely limited

While Rothenburg ob der Tauber is incredibly nice, restaurants seem to be a bit more on the unreasonably pricier side. Landwehr Bräu am Turm is the absolute contrary. It's only a few minutes by foot from the main spots but food & drinks are very reasonably priced and the quality is sublime. Nothing over the top fancy but simply good and well thought out dishes. They have a great variety of beers from their own brewery (and other drinks) and a very small menu of vegetarian dishes. The beer garden is very relaxed and service was incredibly welcoming. Indoors you get the full experience of a traditional Franconian pub. Reservation is recommended due to limited amounts of tables. If you wanna escape the buzz of Rothenburg old town this place is a great spot to do so.

We have been there several times now, including a year apart. It's always the last place we go to on our way home to the RV park because it's open later. But you can also visit the beautiful beer garden during the day, today even with live music. The beer, and especially the "Bonzenschorle", is delicious, the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is cozy. If you like my comment then please give me a 👍 (thumbs up) like!!

We sat outside in the nice weather and unwinded there. We had very tasty Rennerbier, Pinsa and the Spätzle. The service was very friendly and quick. Very good price-performance ratio.

I came here by chance. I sat outside in the beer garden. The atmosphere there is very nice. Right in the old town, but still quietly located on a side street. There were three different vegetarian dishes to choose from. I took the bowl. Extremely delicious. It's great that you can get such delicious, varied vegetarian dishes in a pub. Price-performance is unbeatable. The young team is very nice and the service is excellent. I will gladly come again.

Extrem positiv überrascht. Tolle vegetarische Gerichte. Das Restaurant hat zum einen sehe leckeres Bier und eine kleine aber sehr gute Karte mit vegetarischen Gerichten. Und das ganze auch noch zu super Preisen. Hebt sehr deutlich und positiv von dem allgemeinen Touristenallerlei mit Haxe und Schnitzel zu Mondpreisen ab. Geschmacklich wirklich herausragend und mit viel Liebe zubereitet.

Best punk rock bar in Rothenburg! Competent and hospitable staff. Individual wishes are taken into account. Despite our intrusive behavior, we were not expelled from the house.

We found the so-called Renner beer really tasty. Everything in terms of ambience and music also fit together well. The bar staff were also friendly and helpful. We'd love to come back.

We were very impressed by the atmosphere because we really like something rustic. There are 3 vegetarian dishes to choose from on the weekend, but we don't know if this is the rule. I can recommend the draft beer, especially the cellar beer, it tastes a bit tasty. The restaurant is run and served by young people. The restaurant concept is very different from the established establishments and is open longer.

This is the bar to visit in Rothenburg late at night. Superb atmosphere and lots of tasty drinks to choose from at a reasonable price. Wonderful.

No menu. No options. Just one item: substandard pizza dressed up as "flambee". Terrible music playing. And the zoomer bartender couldn't care less.

Uriges Restaurant oder eher Kneipe mit sehr sehr leckerem Essen. Es gibt zwar nicht viel Auswahl aber braucht es ja auch nicht immer. Dafür können Sie das Angebotene richtig gut. Personal war auch sehr freundlich und auch preislich mehr als gut. Gerne wieder

Wir waren (angemeldet) mit einer 39köpfigen Gruppe im Landwehr. Dort war alles bestens vorbereitet, auch die kleine Küche wurde mit zeitgleich Bestellungen erstaunlich gut fertig. Das vegetarische Essen, welches auf einer Tafel angezeigt wurde, mundete allen vorzüglich. Vorspeise eine verfeinerte Kürbissuppe, Hauptspeise Spätzle "mit Zutaten" oder eine Art Pizta - alles sehr lecker. Die junge Bedienung war nie überfordert und erfüllte alle Wünsche schnellstmöglich. Insgesamt eine gute Emofehlung und eine ausgezeichnete Alterbative zur Schweinsbraten-Gastronomie.

Essen konnten wir leider nichts weil innen eine Geburtstagsfeier war und die Küche pausierte. Ansonsten war es super, die Bedienung sehr freundlich und wirklich sehr schnell. Das dunkle Bier schmeckt hervorragend.

Super nettes Team mit einem tollen gemütlichen, historischen Ambiente, komme gerne wieder. Auch der Biergarten draußen im Sommer ist sehr schön.

Gezellige Biergarten, verstopt achter de straat kun je heerlijk buiten zitten. De kaart qua eten is heel eenvoudig en goed. De flammkuchen was prima. Genietende van een lekker glas Helles en een Bacchus is het lekker vertoeven

Wir haben dort nicht gegessen, die kleine wechselnde Karte sah aber lecker aus. Unbedingt Mal besuchen, wenn man in Rothenburg ob der Tauber ist.

Superfreundliches, aufmerksames, junges Team! Schönes Kneipenambiente. Hat so viel Spaß gemacht, dass wir während unseres 7-tägigen Aufenthaltes jeden Abend, außer Montag=Ruhetag, hier waren. Haben auch einmal was gegessen (Spätzle mit Champignons, Cheddar, Tomate, Rucola und Zwiebeln) und ich kann kann nur sagen: „Leckeres Essen, süffiges Bier🍺(mein Favorit: Landwehr Helles), gut gelaunte Servicemanschaft. Absolut empfehlenswert! Top! 👍🏻

Landwehr-Bräu is a Very good hotel. Their resturant is very good. I ordered the weiner schnitzel which was delicious and the waitress who served us was very skilled at her work. Since one person in our company didnt want their salad that came with the schnitzel they deducted the corresponding price of the bill, something that I have rarely experienced before and therefore was greatly impressed by. Our room is was very clean and pleasant to stay in with good beds and a spotless bathroom. The overall feel and german/bayern styling of the hotel is a very nice experience. All the staff is very proffesional and friendly aswell. 10/10 experience, highly recommended.

Es war ein 30 Grad-Tag, deswegen haben wir (nachmittags) draußen im Biergarten gesessen. Zu drinnen können wir also nix sagen. Junges Team, sehr nett und natürlich äußerst leckere Biere. Nach einer Erfrischung am Nachmittag haben wir für 18.00 Uhr direkt einen Tisch bestellt. Klappte alles bestens. Abends gab es zwar "nur" drei Gerichte: Pinda, Spätzle und Salat! Aber die waren richtig gut. Pinda und Spätzle (die wir geteilt haben) waren einfach richtig lecker!!! Lieber nur drei klasse Gerichte, als 15 mittelmäßige! Wenn wir nochmals nach Rothenburg kommen, werden wir auf jeden Fall wieder kommen!!

Sehr teuer, sehr gemütliche, leider nur 1,5h aufhalt da dann die nächsten Gäste zum Essen kommen für mehr Umsatz, also gemütlich sitzen und 2 Bierchen trinken , fehl am Platz

Stayed three nights, ate every evening. Food was amazing and very good value for money. Great beer goes without saying. Good selection of wines. Room was very comfortable, here is the kicker, Ou r room 207 was on a VERY busy road, I mean heavy trucks throughout the first night. Ear plugs from there on in..Its a classy act staff food decor the whole thing g is a azung, but the road noise is an issue it really is.

Ein sehr zu empfehlendes Lokal für einen gemütlichen und lustigen Abend. Tolle Getränkekarte, nette Bedienung und zivile Preise. Überwiegend junges aber gemischtes Publikum.

Das Lokal war wegen Corona Lockdown geschlossen. Es wurde Glühwein durchs Fenster verkauft. Trotz grossen Andrangs kam man schnell zum Zuge. Es gab sogar richtige Tassen für Glühwein.

Haben heute die to go Masalabowl ausprobiert. Klasse Zutaten Klasse Geschmack Prei absolut in Ordnung und das alles ohne Abfall. Tolle Idee mit den Glas Weck Bowls !
