Since we've been regulars at Restaurant Landart for years now, it's about time for a review. The food is always delicious and freshly prepared. In autumn and winter, the restaurant also shines with exceptional schnitzel creations, which have pleasantly surprised me several times and, in my opinion, could easily become a permanent fixture on the menu. The service and the owner are always friendly, and families with children are always welcome. The various celebrations are also always a joyful experience. We will gladly continue to come. So, a strong recommendation from me.

We went to the Land Art Restaurant in Ransel for a wedding consultation and, frankly, are still speechless at the owner's behavior. When we politely asked if we could bring our own caterer – with compensation, of course – he reacted condescendingly, rudely, and with utter disrespect from the very beginning. Instead of having an open conversation, he made it clear that he "wants to cook himself" and wasn't interested in individual solutions. When we tried to calmly explain that good food was very important to us, all he said was: "If you don't celebrate here, the next couple will – I don't care." We've never experienced anything like it. Especially at a wedding venue, you expect openness, appreciation, and a bit of warmth – here, it was the complete opposite. We left speechless and disappointed. We absolutely cannot recommend this place.

Unfortunately, I have to give one star, and even that's too much. Completely unfriendly, arrogant, and can't even say goodbye if the deal falls through. Luckily, the owner is able to use GPT chat for his online replies; otherwise, you'd immediately recognize his arrogance in his own words and wouldn't even bother going there in the first place… What a shame.

Unfortunately, I can't confirm the positive reviews. In front of the restaurant today, during the museum festival, there was onion cake, goulash soup, sausages, and a cake counter. But since it was very windy outside, my wife asked if they could eat inside, to which the young lady replied "yes." My son preferred schnitzel. Unfortunately, I can't comment on the food, as my wife and son weren't served at first, even though they were told they could eat inside. Then, in a very unfriendly manner, the manager informed them that it was self-service and that they should order outside, even though there were three waiters at the bar and the manager himself was sitting at a table with a group, and the restaurant was otherwise empty. My wife asked for a menu and was simply told by the manager, "It's outside!" In an older review, I read that the manager rejects such behavior and always treats his guests kindly. Unfortunately, this isn't entirely true, at least not from our perspective. We try out a lot of restaurants, but neither my wife nor I have ever been turned away. We'd rather spend our money at another restaurant where we're treated like a guest. Hospitality seems to be in short supply here! Except for the girls at the bar.

We celebrated our wedding there in August, and everything was absolutely perfect. From the pre-wedding planning, during which Marcelo was always available and, in particular, calmed me down due to the inclement weather with the wonderful design of the indoor ceremony 😁, to the wedding reception itself, everything was perfect. The food was delicious and received praise from all the guests. The waiters were always on point and very friendly. We can 100% recommend it. For a wedding, but also for dining out. Thank you, Marcelo and team!

First of all: the service was very friendly and accommodating, and it's a nice place to sit after a hike. However, the table wasn't wiped down, even though someone was sitting at the table before us. Now for the food: We ordered schnitzel and a salad. The salad was very tasty. Unfortunately, the schnitzel wasn't of good quality; it seemed to have been deep-fried and was extremely fatty, with a strong pork flavor, and was also somewhat sinewy. I sent half of it back. In the car, I started to get severe stomach cramps. I had terrible stomach and intestinal cramps all evening and into the night from the food. Tip: It's better to raise the price and opt for high-quality, fresh meat.

Our wedding was unforgettable thanks to this venue and the ambiance. A very special thank you goes to Marcelo. We and our guests felt very comfortable with him and his team from the very first moment. We would choose them again anytime!

Nice restaurant to stop off before or after hiking. The food is a mix of German, Italian and American cuisine. Draft beer and food are delicious. The prices are reasonable. You're sitting in a parking lot at the front, but the museum and surroundings are nice.

Wonderful place to linger, enjoy and be amazed. Both for an enjoyable break on a trip, family or large celebration, as well as a hiking and rest stop place to linger. Many thanks to the landlord and his enthusiasm for even the unusual. We look forward to coming here again and again.

We were lucky enough to be able to celebrate our wedding here. Like every bride and groom, you look at different restaurants/locations. This is sometimes despairing. Here we received such warm, professional advice and decided on the Landart Lokal. The food was delicious (for us and all our guests), the service was professional, quick and friendly. The ambience and everything around is perfect. But not just for weddings, you can also go out for a regular meal here (which we did extensively before). Absolutely clear recommendation. Can it get any better? We don't find it. Stay like that!! We had a baby among our guests, we quickly got a high chair and the little one was later allowed to play on a blanket on the floor. Great!☺️

Ich habe eine ungenießbare Suppe zurückgegeben, worauf der Inhaber völlig kolerisch zu unserem Tisch kam und meiner Frau das Essen unter der Gabel wegriss. Wir sollten abhauen und nicht wieder kommen!!!!! Das absolut assozialste was ich je einem Restaurant erlebt habe.

Very cozy and rustic furnishings. Large outdoor terrace with a great view. Heating is via a fireplace with a large viewing window, very pleasant warmth. The waitresses are very nice and attentive, the prices are cheap to absolutely ok, the food was consistently good, well seasoned and the portion size was absolutely sufficient. The menu is not too overwhelming. The only small negative point is the lack of signage. Not so easy to find, even with a navigation system, as the restaurant is behind a large hall and you can't see any signs. We will definitely come back as guests. Thanks for the good food.

We really liked the food. Where exactly the line between “self-service” (ordering at the counter) and “table service” (ordering at the table) was unclear to us for two hours. Somehow it worked. Unfortunately the view from the terrace is what it is... the white wall. But again: the food was wonderful

Unfortunately I can't understand the good reviews, we were there on Sunday, it needs to be cleaned THOROUGHLY in the guest room and in the toilet room!! I was just horrified! Ambience, which??? The wallpaper is coming off in the toilet and the carpet doesn't work at all...😕..also in the restaurant, we sat on a torn, worn-out corner bench...🫢not even for a restaurant!! The owner wasn't exactly friendly either! On the internet it looked pretty nice and clean, I don't know what happened there... what a shame!!!

Always enjoy coming here. The food is cooked with love. The beer is home-brewed and tastes delicious. The landlord is the cook and the pub has been put together with a lot of love. I think this is an insider tip!!! There are delicious schnitzels here for when you're really hungry 👍

Had dinner there with friends on Saturday. Were welcomed very friendly by the owner and taken to the reserved place. Land Art has home-brewed beer. I'm not a beer drinker, I ordered a second one. Absolutely delicious. And first the food. We had 4 different dishes. The plates were beautifully presented, the portions were large and the food was very, very tasty. As a starter I had cream of potato soup. Excellent!!! In between the question: "Everything's fine," or, “Can you have something more to drink?” Our friends from Cologne were surprised to find such a restaurant and such high-quality dishes. The LandArt in Ransel is a first-class choice, highly recommended. We would also like to thank the owner for the nice, cozy evening. ANYTIME AGAIN

Sehr schönes Restaurant in ländlichem Flair. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und bewirtet. Das Essen war hervorragend und die Bewirtung sehr zuvorkommend. Der grönende Abschluss war dann das Eis zum Nachtisch, welches passend zum Geschmack in einer echten Orange oder Zitrone serviert wurde.

Wir haben hier sehr gut gegessen und eine schöne Zeit verbracht. Die Bruschetta sind sensationell lecker, genauso wie die Schnitzel. Der Inhaber ist locker und sehr freundlich. Wir kommen jederzeit gerne wieder.

Schönes rustikales Landrestaurant mit eigenem Bier vom angrenzenden Landmuseum. Gute Speisen und tolle Aussicht. Direkt nebenan ein grosses Modehaus mit guter Auswahl zu vernünftigen Preisen.

Durch den Lockdown drauf gekommen und für gut befunden. Wirklich sehr gut gemachtes frisches Essen. Das Schnitzel ist hammermäßig souffliert, sieht man wirklich nicht oft. Chapeau 👍! Auch der Salat nicht 0815. Salatsoße könnte etwas mehr "Pepp" vertragen, aber alles in allem wirklich wirklich gut. Man sieht, hier wird mit Liebe gekocht!

Trotz Einschränkungen durch Corona und relativ später Stunde gab's kurz vor Feierabend für uns noch etwas zu essen & zu trinken; und das bei netter Bedienung. Nur das Ambiente, der Arz-Parkplatz lassen etwas zu wünschen übrig.

Nach einer langen Wanderung über den Rheinsteig haben wir einen Umweg über Ransel genommen und sind im Land Art in Ransel eingekehrt. Nach der herzlichen Begrüßung durch den Wirt haben wir in der Ecke am Kamin Platz genommen und konnten die müden Knochen erstmal entspannen lassen. Auf Empfehlung unseres Gastgebers haben wir das hausgebraute Ranseler Landbier genossen. Die Speisekarte bietet genau die Spezialitäten, welche man in der Region erwartet und zu unserer Freude hatte der Wirt auch noch ein paar tagesakutelle Highlights anzubieten. Die Speisen waren frisch zubereitet und der Service war zu jeder Zeit zur Stelle. Fazit: Tolles Essen, sehr guter Service und ein sehr zu empfehlendes Landbier. Wir kommen wieder!
