Great place, we spontaneously went there with a group. Very friendly and flexible hosts. We'd love to go back.😊

Quaint inn, also frequented by locals, good atmosphere, everyone knows everyone... food is hearty and plentiful.

Unfortunately, we were not given a basis for a proper assessment of the place, as we were received by a man who was clearly not having his best day. When one of us (we are four adults) was not in the mood for either food or drink, he became downright rude. We chose to leave the place and we felt directly harassed, as the one who could not bear anything was accused of taking up space for others. We were looking forward to a pleasant evening, and the intention was to come back a couple of days later for dinner, but there will definitely be no return to this place. We have been many times by the Rhine and have never experienced anything like this before.

We chose this small restaurant based on the positive reviews. It wasn't a good decision for us. From the very first moment, we felt unwelcome. The proprietor was very unfriendly toward us. After "only" three of four people ordered something to eat and drink, the fourth person was rudely informed that this was a restaurant and that they shouldn't take anyone else's seat. We were very surprised by these comments and cannot condone such behavior toward guests. We canceled our meal, paid for our drinks, and left together. Therefore, we cannot rate the food, although it may have been good.

Extremely rude. There were four of us in the barn, including two friends from Norway. They dared to push two tables apart a little to make room for two more guests. A big mistake according to the waitress (presumably the owner). The tone was awful. Drinks arrived. When ordering food, one person didn't order anything. She did the same with the drinks. She had her reasons. Everyone else ordered. The waitress replied: "We're a restaurant, and we're eating here." She only took a direct quote: "Parking space." With that, the "Handkäs" was gone and the cup overflowed. We left. We'll never visit the place again.

Great little restaurant, whether for a meal with the most delicious gypsy schnitzel ever 😀 or just for a freshly tapped beer at the bar. Friendly owners – a lovely place to unwind and relax.

Quaint shop with charm and heart. But incredibly nice people behind the bar and in front with truly fantastic cuisine. The food is incredibly good. The draft beer is delicious. The wines are excellent. The digestifs are fantastic, and the owner even buys one for you. Plus, it's great to have a chat about mopeds and life with everyone. The music is great, too 🤗 The Furys were just playing 🤗

Very rustic, simple atmosphere, no chic. To be honest, I had other plans but unfortunately the one I wanted was closed. At first I thought it was just a bar. But far from it, the menu is manageable with slices and schnitzel dishes etc. But: The salad was super fresh and delicious. The schnitzel from the butcher, fried crispy, not deep fried. There were also a few daily specials on the menu and lots of Lorchers who started the weekend with a glass of wine or a beer with a delicious dinner. THAT speaks for quality. The service was super attentive, warm and I felt very warmly welcomed even as a single guest. Wine from the young winemaker and at the end a vineyard peach liqueur 😋 A nice, cozy, relaxed evening, definitely try it out if you get hungry in Lorch!

A family-style restaurant, it is a very familiar restaurant that nearby residents often visit with their families. Or a place to have a drink and hang out with friends in the evening. I ordered Vienna pork chop and fish steak, both tasted good. If you are near Lorch, you can try it

I actually just wanted to have a quick beer, but then I stopped and had a great chat with a few regulars. A successful evening.

Typical rustic pub with nice regulars and a great host. A small dog is part of the inventory and likes to be scratched. Portion is large and fills you up well. Everything very clean.

This is how gastronomy has to be! Delicious and plentiful food after a long hike. Super friendly owners, great service. This is how hiking on the Rheinsteig is fun!! Price performance top! We'll be back.

Eigentlich ganz geil hier, hab nur gesoffen nicht gegessen, aber dafür optimal. Kegelbahn-Feeling überall, fühl mich wie Zuhause. Gerne wieder.

Gutes Bier. Das was man erwartet. Essen leider nicht getestet, sah aber am Nachbartisch grundsolide aus. Toilette hat Gerucht (nicht im positiven Sinne). Jederzeit wieder

In Lorch das top Ziel für ein leckeres Abendessen mit netten Personal. Das Essen schmeckt äußerst lecker, vor allem der Burger ist zu empfehlen. Einen Besuch hier kann ich wirklich jedem empfehlen, Lohnen wird es sich sicherlich.

Ich bin auf dem Heimweg in meine Unterkunft auf ein Absackerbierchen eingekehrt und dann doch länger geblieben, weil es soooo nett war 🤩 Sehr nette Gespräche mit Chef und Gästen. Weil ich nicht wusste, dass es ein gutes vegetarisches/veganes Speiseangebot gibt, hab ich vorher woanders gegessen. Bedauerlich! Also auf jeden Fall nachfragen, es lohnt sich!

Wirkt optisch wie ein "normaler" Imbiss, dabei ist das Essen mit Liebe gemacht und von wirklich guter Qualität. Der Wein vom benachbarten Weingut ist gut ausgewählt und sehr lecker.

Kleine gemütliche Kneipe in Lorch / Rhein. Sehr familiär und kleine, aber durchaus feine Speisekarte .

Super nettes Peronal, tolles Essen und faire Preise. Kann man nur empfehlen. Tauffeier war super ausgerichtet worden. Alles sehr liebevoll dekoriert.

POMMESBUDE... UND DAFÜR SCHON Teuer... Service mässig... Suppe nicht heiß... vegetarischer Flamkuchen mit Ziegenkäse... beim Bezahlen sehr lange gewartet keine Quittung...

Wir haben einen Kurzurlaub in Lorch gemacht und das "lnsider" ist zu unserem abendlichen Lieblingslokal geworden. Das Essen war immer sehr gut zubereitet und echt Spitze. Die Chefin ist auch gerne auf besondere Wünsche eingegangen. Hinzu kommt die ausgezeichnete Weinauswahl mit Spitzenweinen aus dem Hause "Graf von Kanitz". Die Atmosphäre und die Freundlichkeit zu allen Gästen ist beispielgebend. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team inclusive dem Stammtisch. Wir kommen gerne wieder und empfehlen dieses nette Lokal gerne weiter. Danke.

3 Sterne für Speis und Trank, +1 Stern für die Hundefreundlichkeit! Hier waren wir jetzt innerhalb kurzer Zeit zum zweiten Mal eingekehrt. Die Wisper-Trails machen eben doch durstig und hungrig. Positiv hervorzuheben ist, dass die Besitzer selber einen süßen Terrier besitzen und es darum kein Problem gibt, dort mit Hund einzukehren. Ebenfalls befindet sich dort ein Stammtisch der "Eingeborenen" - es ist also kein reiner Touri-Schuppen. Das Essen ist gute Hausmannskost (Schnitzel &Co.), die Preise sind moderat. Der Handkäs soll richtig gut sein (wie jemand aus unserer Gruppe feststellte). Das Lokal ist ordentlich und sauber - jedoch weht einem von den Toiletten immer der Geruch von WC-Steinen entgegen. Das ist ein wenig unangenehm. Verbesserungswürdig ist auch das "Kassensystem", das sich uns als College-Block A4 präsentierte. Aber alles in allem: klare Empfehlung! Nette Betreiber, die mit Herz dabei sind. Gerne wieder!

Insider is a locals gathering spot for beer and wine, conversation with old friends and the dinners are tasty and arrive quickly. The staff are friendly and welcoming.

Die etwas andere "Kneipe"!! Gutes Essen, zu absolut fairen Preisen! Top zubereitet! Portionen richtige Größe! Auch wenn man nur Durst hat, ist man gerne gesehen und bestens bedient! Bedienung auf Zack und immer freundlich. Auch zu Zeiten von Corona nur zu empfehlen!!

Ein schmuckes kleines Lokal in Lorch. Gut bürgerliche, deutsche Küche. Qualität, Größe der Portion, Preis stimmig und absolut passend. Freundliche Atmosphäre, wird nicht der letzte Besuch gewesen sein. Muss noch eine Ergänzung machen. Bei der Beilage Bratkartoffeln empfehle ich den Tick Minze. Eine Geschmacksexplosion ( persönliche Meinung und Geschmacksempfinden ).

Extrem sympathisch wenn man mit den Worten "Hier gibt es guten Whiskys begrüßt wird. Sehr Familiär. Danke Simone... Hoffentlich ließt das Dein Mann nicht. Und wenn nächstes Mal die Soße heiß ist, lade ich Dich zum trinken ein ❤
