Unfortunately the food was below mediocre. The side salad for €4.20 was an outrage. A bit of unseasoned Loreley green (I don't know what that means...). The schnitzel, oh well! The mushroom sauce, without words! The service was always helpful! Sitting in the sun wasn't pleasant either, unfortunately the sun protection wasn't fully opened. We won't be coming back and we'll take back our recommendation to friends!

Great food, friendly, helpful folks (recognising & switching to good English for foreign guests), well kept clean place, positive atmosphere & adequate prices. Tour guiding Dutch colleagues on motorbikes around the area, they've positively confirmed having enjoyed their lunch break.

We received a really nice welcome, great atmosphere with a view of the water. All dishes were freshly prepared and had delicious cream schnitzel with fresh chanterelles. Many thanks to the entire team for the great stay on our convertible tour through the Rhine Valley.

Das Essen war dem Preis nicht entsprechend. Salat mit Mais aus der Dose, schlechter Geschmack. Bratkartoffeln waren nur frittierte Kartoffelstücke aus der Fritteuse. Schnitzel mehr Panade als Fleisch.

A pleasant place for a meal - a little close to a fairly busy road, but I suppose that means it's convenient for the traveller!! A good view of the Rhine. Service was efficient and pleasant - the waiter spoke excellent English, which was helpful! We had beer (a good alcohol free available), pork schnitzel and apple strudel - very traditional and enjoyable. Be aware " baked potato" means "roast potatoes". They were fine, just not what we expected!!

The wait for the food was a little longer, but the food was excellent. The portions were very generous and overall it's a good place to stop. We are very satisfied :)

Hello restaurant in the Rhine Valley. Today I ordered food from you through Lieferando for the first time and for the last time. When the food arrived, I couldn't believe my eyes. How you package it etc. Really bad! The food was cold and unfortunately I threw the side salad and cream sauce straight into the trash because I was afraid I would get sick. Then I tried the croquettes that you carelessly transported in a pizza box. They were ok, fried potatoes were not salted and tasted bad, schnitzel was ok. Shortly afterwards I had extreme stomach pain and diarrhea. So in my opinion, delivering something like that to someone's home who is looking forward to good, delicious food is fraud and borderline criminal. Very very bad and I'm very 😞 disappointed with what you did to me today. I demand my money back! Actually, you should be reported for something like that. Request a response from you

We came on a Thursday evening and there wasn't much going on. The very courteous service staff opened especially for. Price-performance was very good. Food was delicious. Completely satisfied.

We were spontaneously out and about on the Rhine and this was our second time in this restaurant. The food is good, there's nothing to complain about. The service was friendly and quick. The ambience is nice. If the weather is good there is some seating outside, but even if it rains there is enough space inside.

Excursion on May 1st. Rüdesheim, Niederwalddenkmal, then along the Rhine to Koblenz and something to eat in between. I've been here several times in the past and had nothing to complain about. The manageable menu, with actually delicious dishes at acceptable prices, was a reason for me to stop by there every now and then. However, yesterday a completely different picture. It was only moderately busy, with maybe 10 tables occupied, so it was anything but busy. In the past, we were always greeted nicely and shown to a table. None yesterday. We chose a table that seemed suitable for the five of us and discovered that the table had been cleared but not cleaned (sticky glass edges). Not a broken leg, but still unusual compared to the past. I was/am used to a table being prepared for the next guest after it has been cleared. Maybe I'm being a bit strict, but I was used to it differently, especially since it wasn't busy. Then we sat and waited for about 10-15 minutes and nothing happened (like I said, not busy). A waitress then joined us and everything went its way, food and drinks were ordered. We ordered three portions of fries, with mayo and two green sauces. The fries were brought first, which were limp and lukewarm. Then about 10 minutes later the green sauce came, with two eggs and instead of the fried potatoes according to the menu, with boiled potatoes, which I found much better, although almost raw. You couldn't cut them with a fork, you needed a knife. You could say they were 'mega aldente'. The green sauce was some convenience product that was too sweet and not particularly tasty. Now the memory card didn't say 'homemade' either, so everything was safe as far as the green sauce was concerned. Since my companion, like me, was really hungry, we overlooked the grievances and ate as much as our hunger allowed. When we were finished, we sat again for 15-20 minutes without anything happening. The number of guests hadn't really increased either. We also wanted to order dessert, which was mentioned when we placed the order. At another table, a guest even went into the restaurant to ask a waitress to come to the table to order. I finally got tired of it and went into the restaurant to pay. However, without tipping, as I am of the opinion that you should earn it, which was absolutely not the case here. I deliberately chose this restaurant based on my good experiences in the past, especially to show my foreign companions good German home-style cuisine. It didn't work across the board. I can't say whether I will come here again. In the past it had actually been good and because the conditions were bad only once, I don't want to give it a 'not recommended' rating.

Not a total failure, but unfortunately not recommended. The service was ok. But various dishes were out and some people only noticed it after ordering. With the asparagus with salmon, it was only noticed after it was served, or after the table had considered whether it was worth mentioning. Apart from the unavailable food, the meals that came were cold, partly raw or partly too well done, very fatty and all in all not enough. We were a registered group of 22 people, so we could have been prepared for this size. However, this was not the case. While one table got its food in about 30 minutes, the other table waited a whopping 1.5 hours until the first meal was served! So one table was finished long before the last one had even started. (Fun fact: we were the only guests of the evening!) If you like arugula salad with half a tomato, you've come to the right place. By the way, you should stay away from the salad plate if you want to be full (the difference to the starter salad is the size of the plate). Mistakes can happen, but the frequency of them had a significant impact on the mood.

The food was great and the staff explained the menu in English for us. Beautiful view and a pretty walk from the main city square.

Nice service but the food leaves much to be desired. The portions are small. Kleiner Schnitzel was probably a finished, warmed product. Salad was more of a decoration on the plate. The fried potatoes were okay but also not much. The cream sauce was totally watery, thin soup with a few mushrooms. My two companions got the non-carbonated cola. Since we are from the area we will eat somewhere else in the future.

It can be read on the restaurant's homepage, but unfortunately it doesn't reflect reality. When we arrived we were handed the "small menu" because there wasn't anything else available and we were told that four dishes were not available on this menu and no French fries. Anyone like us who has a two-year-old child with them knows how difficult it is to dine with children of this age in a restaurant where you obviously cannot make a few fries. That and the very limited selection meant that we left the restaurant immediately. The flexibility mentioned on the homepage is nothing but an empty phrase. We definitely won't come again.

The service was very polite and accommodating. However, the portions were all a bit small. My girlfriend's steak was very good. However, the champion cream sauce for my schnitzel was a mush with a few pieces of mushrooms... I doubt that the mushrooms were fresh... more like canned mushrooms. The sauce was lumpy. Unfortunately.

Very good food, friendly service and prices like 10 years ago.

I personally like this restaurant, it exudes a cosiness. The team works together like cogs and this is reflected on the guests. Is very well located with a view of the Rhine. With a large terrace that invites you to linger with a delicious cappuccino and a piece of cake.

The menu, although very manageable, made a good impression. Prices also seemed reasonable at first. So we went in and ordered. 1x game burger, 1x schnitzel, 2x meatloaf. Even though the shop was almost empty, we waited half an hour for food. When it was served, we initially believed it was a bad joke. The portions were all the size of children's plates. The side salad was limited to a leaf and a slice of tomato without any sauce. The two meatloaf were completely raw inside, and the fried potatoes were also not cooked through. The burger consisted of a slice of wild brawn that was fried. This was still partially frozen in the middle. The sauce was limited to a dollop of ketchup. The bacon was flaky. In response to our complaint, the three plates were brought back to the kitchen and heated through again, which noticeably affected the fries. The now slightly torn food was then served to us again. The meatloaf tasted good after the revision, but the burger didn't really taste good. 20 euros per meal for a children's portion with a 0.5 drink is more than steep. If the kitchen team is completely overwhelmed with the preparation, the price is outrageous. We left about as hungry as we came and despite the microscopic quantities, the food remained heavy and unpleasant in our stomachs for several hours.

If something was available, the food ordered was not good. Price performance not acceptable. Winzerweck, the worst I've ever eaten, goat cheese with a small salad (which salad? Two leaves). At the beginning the Rhine Valley was really great, but things have slowed down immensely. Why? Unfortunately. Conclusion: put: 6

Das Essen war perfekt und wurde sehr schnell serviert. Servicepersonal sehr aufmerksam. So sollte es sein und es gibt von meiner Seite auf jeden Fall ein "Daumen hoch".

Natalie macht einen tollen Job. Sie ist sehr aufmerksam, höflich, zuvorkommend und beherrscht den Service sehr sehr gut. Der Chef war super lieb, auch sehr aufmerksam, es gab sogar ein Geschenk für meine Eltern. Wir waren sehr gerne bei Euch heute Abend, es war lecker und sehr gemütlich. Idyllic riverside restaurant. Good food, good location and quite quiet during the day on a Saturday.

Das Gegenteil von Saftig. Burger furztrocken, Sosse Fehlanzeige, Patty mehr als durchgebraten, Bun kross und staubtrocken das es bröselt wie ein altes Brötchen. Schnitzel dünn, klein und totgebraten. Es ist so heiss da drin, nicht auszuhalten. Riesige, nicht zu öffnende Fenster (wer denkt sich so was aus???) für die gute Aussicht auf die B42, drin kein Lüftchen und 35 Grad. Leider hat es geregnet so das der eigentlich schöne Aussenbereich keine Option war. Bedienung war nett aber unprofessionell (hatte es auf das Wüstenproblem angesprochen aber das sei alles OK so). Am schlimmsten war jedoch die Wüste im Mund ob des trockenen Essens. Der Beilagen Salat war das Highlight und echt gut.

Herrliches Plätzchen am Rhein. Wir haben lecker von der Sonderkarte (Pfifferlinge) gegessen.

Nachdem der Radweg von Rüdesheim nach Lorch fertig gestellt ist, eine gute Möglichkeit für eonen Imbiss. Man hat einen schönen Blick auf den Rhein aber auch auf die B42.

Ein nettes Restaurant mit Terrasse zum Rhein, nur durch die Strasse getrennt. Freundlicher Service, ordentliche Hausmannskost. Gute Weinkarte, der Rotwein kam bei 30 Grad Aussentemperatur leicht angekühlt. Das gibt es nicht überall...

Das Essen war gut, jedoch gab es noch weniger Auswahl als auf der, eh schon kleinen Karte, war, weil die nächsten Tage Ruhetage sind. Die Schorlen hatten einen recht hohen Wasser Anteil. Der Blick auf den Rhein ist ganz schön, auch wenn die Straße stört. Durch eben diese, so vermute ich, hat sich die direkt daneben liebende Terrasse auch ziemlich aufgeheizt. Das Personal war hilfsbereit und freundlich.

Schöne Location, nur durch die B42 vom Rhein getrennt . Kleine, aber feine Karte zu, der Qualität und Quantität, angemessenen Preisen. Tolle Aussicht auf der Terasse, nette und freundliche Bedienung. Wir kommen wieder 😎

Super Aussicht, nette Bedienung, preislich ok

Fast direkt am Rhein schmeckt es hier richtig gut. Sehr nette und flotte Bedienung. Schnitzel waren gut , ebenso die Beilagen.

Das Lokal liegt einen kleinen Spaziergang außerhalb des hübschen Örtchens Lorch. Man hat nicht nur einen Blick auf den Rhein, sondern auch auf eine Burg gegenüber. Pluspunkt ist auch die Beschattung der ganzen Terrasse. An einem Samstag-Mittag war es noch relativ ruhig, der Service war nett und das Essen kam zügig. Man konnte mit Karte bezahlen, auch das gut. Ebenfalls angenehm fanden wir, dass man Wein auch im 0,1-Glas bekam, denn wir wollten regionale Weine probieren, aber nicht mittags große Gläser trinken 😉. Die probierten Weißweine waren sehr gut. Das Essen hatte ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Bei Ausflügen also alles zu empfehlen.

Leckeres Essen und freundlicher Service

Wir sind an einem sonnigen Sonntagmittag hier eingekehrt. Das Restaurant war dementsprechend gut besucht. Die Speisekarte ist überschaubar, die Gerichte waren aber sehr lecker. Mein Schnitzel Wiener Art mit Riesling­Champignon­Rahm war wohl frisch zubereitet und die Soße wirklich lecker. Das Rumpsteak meiner Partnerin war ebenfalls ein Genuss. Die Pommes waren gut und reichlich. Allerdings hätten wir dazu noch eine kleine Salatgarnitur erwartet. Das Restaurant ist neu eingerichtet und die Toiletten angenehm modern. Die Sonnenterasse ist mit Blick auf den Rhein. Nach diversen touristischen Reinfällen an Rhein und Mosel eine Offenbarung.

Ongeveer de meest bedroevende restaurantervaring die ik recent heb gehad. halve menukaart is niet beschikbaar (“maandag” was de reden, weet niet hoe oud het eten is dat je op zondag krijgt, maar dagvers is hier geen bekend fenomeen). Snel bediend is ongeveer het enige positieve dat te vermelden is. Hier terechtgekomen na aan beveling van een hotel in Lorch.

Restaurant direkt am Rhein mit toller Aussicht. Leckeres Essen und nette Bedienung, wir haben hier sehr genossen und können dieses Restaurant sicher weiter empfehlen!

Nettes Lokal mit sehr schöner Sonnenterrasse mit direkten Blick auf den Rhein. Sehr nette Bedienung. Hatten zwar nur einen bunten Gartensalat mit Putenstreifen, aber der war super lecker. Kehren da öfter ein, wenn wir eine Mopedtour durchs Wispertal oder entlang des Rheins machen. Können wir mit gutem Gewissen empfehlen.

Wir waren heute mit der Familie hier essen, es war sehr lecker! Das Essen hat Allen geschmeckt, der Service ist schnell, sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Für kleine Kinder gibt es Kinderstühle. Super ist Auch die Lage am Rhein, so dass die Kinder die Schiffe beobachten konnten. Mein Rumpsteak mit hausgemachter Kräuterbutter und Pommes war lecker, und die gewünschte Garstufe super getroffen! Es gibt eine überschaubare Nachtischauswahl (gemischtes Eis, Beeren mit Schokoladentörtchen) und eine frische Kuchen-Auswahl (Der Erdbeerkuchen, sehr lecker!!) Wir kamen zu Fuß, es gibt aber auch ausreichend Parkplätze direkt davor Wir kommen gerne wieder
