Trattoria Suleika in Lorch

Attention: Insider tip! A family runs this beautifully situated trattoria at the campsite of the same name. Honest, down-to-earth, traditional Italian cuisine. Dishes you won't find on every menu. The service is warm and attentive. The additional information on dishes you might not be familiar with is also nice. This restaurant is surprising; it's worth it!

It would have been nice, but the restaurant wasn't open. We walked an hour in that direction, waited there until 5:15 p.m., and no one was there.

Very good, authentic food. The menu features Italian and German dishes. The food was tasty, fresh, and refined with regional and Italian ingredients. Very friendly service, and once again, high praise for the kitchen. 👏🏽👏🏽

A very beautiful and pleasant place where you can enjoy the peace and quiet or the romantic atmosphere. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was very friendly. We had such a lovely evening with friends! La dolce vita! We will definitely come back!

We dined at Trattoria Suleika on Sunday with seven adults and two children. They serve authentic Italian cuisine, with vegetarian or meat options, and desserts are also available. There's something for everyone. If you don't want Italian food, you can also get a schnitzel with fries and salad. We had seven different dishes and two "Torta della Nonna" for dessert. Everything was simply delicious. The service was friendly. All in all, a visit is highly recommended.

We were back at the campsite last weekend, always happy to return! And now there's another highlight: the Trattoria Suleika! Highly recommended, authentic Italian cuisine, be sure to try the bean stew and the Ligurian cod appetizer. The family is extremely friendly and dedicated, and the Italian way of life brings a breath of fresh air and a wonderful atmosphere! We'll be back!

We had two wonderful (and delicious) evenings at Trattoria Suleika! They offer Italian cuisine with homemade specialties from Liguria! The owner was very friendly and went out of her way to make us feel welcome; the service and the food were excellent! We were guests at the campsite – if you're planning to eat there, you should call the restaurant beforehand to check their opening hours. We'll definitely be back! Richard + Joanna

Went there to eat today, everything was top original Italian cuisine, very friendly and delicious food. Many greetings from the Westerwald family Bäumer!

We went camping there for a weekend and were very impressed by the new operators and the food. A small and fine menu with dishes from the Italian homeland. The service was great! I was allowed to try the lasagne from the daily menu and my husband the pinsa. The selection of pinsa was very good. My lasagne was like Nonna's. The drinks menu includes wines from the region and Italy. So a recommendation for both hikers on the Rheinsteig and for guests at the nature campsite. We'd love to come back!

New operators with authentic Italian cuisine since the end of 2023. Small menu with great homemade pasta dishes and meat specialties from sheep and goat. Nice atmosphere inside and outside and warm service. A nice change from the standard Italian.

According to the host, the restaurant has been closed for 2 years. We were here and there today and had to take a 1km steep detour from the Rheinsteig for nothing. That was very disappointing.

Unbedingter Zwischenstopp bei einer Wanderung über den Rheinsteig. Hervorragendes Essen, super angenehme Atmosphäre. Perfekt.

Mitten in der Natur liegt dieser Naturcampingplatz mit der wundervollen Gaststube. Hier fühlt man sich rund um wohl. Ob nach einer Wanderung zum Kaffee und Kuchen einkehrt oder gleich die gute Küche genießt. Hier kommt man sicher auf seine Kosten. Und alles in Bio Qualität, Produkte soweit möglich aus der Region. Weinfreunde kommen hier ebenso voll auf ihre Kosten. Ich bin sehr verschnuppt im Essen und lege Wert auf gutes Essen und nicht die schnelle Küche. Hier bin ich genau richtig. Wir sind Camper und kommen daher meist gleich für ein paar Tage. Die Hausgemachten Kuchen sind ein Traum. Der Cappuccino mit dem leckeren Löffelschaum ist einfach nur lecker. Es gibt reichlich Platz auf der Terrasse. Hunde sind hier sehr willkommen. Dieses Restaurant eignet sehr gut für Familienfeiern. Für mich ist es ein großes Glück wenn ich hier ein paar Tage verbringen kann und genießen darf. Die Familie ist ganz besonders herzlich. Wir freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch. 😊

Ein sehr schöner und ruhiger Ort, um auszuspannen und die Natur zu genießen. Selbst als Rheingauer verschlägt es uns immer wieder dort hin, um mal ein paar Stunden oder Tage auszuspannen. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und freundlich.

Immer wieder ein schönes Ziel zur Einkehr nach einem kurzen oder langen Fußmarsch, Wanderung. Schöne Atmosphäre, familiengeführter Campingplatz mit Restaurant. Ich komme sehr gerne hierher und verschnaufe, trinke einen guten Wein, esse was leckeres.
