Laki in Düsseldorf

The food is always really good! The quality is good, has not decreased, and the waiting time is not long either. Unfortunately, the interior is a bit uncomfortable and cold. But the food is great! We went there regularly for a long time. Unfortunately the shop is currently closed (due to construction work)

Great experience: the service, the food, and the sake. Very Japanese in the middle of Dusseldorf.

Remember: If you want to enjoy good service here, you have to order a lot, preferably with friends. I heard lamb chops are delicious. I came to Düsseldorf specifically just to eat here. All I want to do was personally try the lamb chop. I ordered a lamb chop. The waitress asked me if I wanted to order anything else and was obviously unhappy with my order. I was alone and was only allowed to sit at a high table. A waiter forbade me to sit at a regular table. After I chose the high table, he placed a sign on a regular table that said “Reserved.” However, no such sign was seen there before. What annoyed me even more was that until I had eaten my food, no other guests came into the restaurant - there wasn't even anyone sitting at the normal tables. As you can see, I only got four very small lamb chops - very different from the photos on Google Maps. In the end I had to pay €20.60. I asked why the price wasn't €18.80 as I had seen on the bill. With a very impatient tone, the waiter said, “You had Sochinni with you.” Then he patted me on the back and said goodbye with a rude “Ciao!” Very rude! Such a bad experience.

It's all ok. Delicious apple strudel. Can be easily combined with a bike or rollerblading tour (although you have to climb stairs).

We had Pizza Margarita and Pastas, very nice made, one of the best Carbonara i have ever tried.Lovely atmosphere as well. I can strongly recommend it.
