Delicious food, good Georgian wines, and a nice, modern atmosphere. It would almost be a 4.5, if not a 5.0, but the service... Unfortunately, it was slow and not very attentive, and at times forgetful. Therefore, only a 4 or slightly less overall. A shame.

Georgian cuisine? Something different. SO RE is a nice restaurant in the heart of Flingern. If you want to go there, you should use public transport, as parking isn't easy. The atmosphere is very cozy and the service is attentive. Just be sure to allow some time, as the wait between courses was a bit long. The food itself is really great.

We took our Georgian friend out for a birthday surprise. It was absolutely wonderful and delicious. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming. Our friend was overjoyed and felt completely at home – besides speaking Georgian, she loved the food and even received a birthday candle at the end! Highly recommended!

We went there spontaneously without a reservation, but since the restaurant was quite busy, booking in advance is recommended. We tried several appetizers and were delighted. It was a refreshing change from the usual Italian or Greek restaurant experience.

We had a wonderful birthday party for my 65th birthday with a fantastic menu put together by So Re. The food was excellent, and the service was superb.

This was my first time at this restaurant, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. As we walked in, we stood for a moment before a staff member approached us—very rudely and without any greeting. She asked in a curt tone what we wanted. Then she simply told us we could sit "somewhere by the window," without showing us where. We sat down, took off our jackets, and then she came back and rudely explained that we were sitting "in the wrong place." It really wasn't a good start. The service was generally very unfriendly. We had to wait over an hour for our food. Finally, we received some khinkali and a steak that was tough as rubber and served cold. The quality of the food fell far short of expectations. Unfortunately, our visit was very disappointing. My rating: 2 out of 5.

It's quite noisy! I couldn't hear my companion. The service is very poor. We had to get the menus ourselves and put them back. Whenever we wanted to order, we had to go to the bar. The music is pleasant, but loud. The restrooms are great. Parking is limited, but we were lucky. The interior is very atmospheric and relaxing. The food is very good! But the downside is that the menu is very limited. The selection is catastrophically limited. No fish. No soups! Limited meat selection. This is more of a small vegan cafe than a restaurant. Limited drink selection. The prices are unacceptably high for an establishment of this caliber. I won't be coming back here again.

The food was delicious, the atmosphere was open and therefore a little noisy, but conversation was still easy. The staff was very attentive and friendly, and the order arrived quickly and piping hot. A definite recommendation to eat here, but reservations are recommended. The restaurant is very popular, and rightly so.

We saw a report about So Re on television and decided to visit the restaurant. Our expectations were fully met. The food was excellent, the staff very friendly and helpful. The value for money was perfect. You couldn't ask for more. You should plan several visits to try all the dishes. Definitely order the Georgian wines with your meal. We will be visiting So Re again and have already recommended it to our friends.

Delicious food and incredibly kind, friendly, and dedicated staff. It tastes like home cooking – but at the same time, you feel like you're in a lovely restaurant. All in all, a very pleasant experience.

A delightful and unique experience. A spacious terrace perfect for enjoying a sunny day, and the interior is also very cozy for winter. As for the food, I was pleasantly surprised; everything was homemade and delicious.

A nice Georgian Restaurant with a great terrace outside. Unfortunately it was full, so we sat inside. It has a good selection of Georgian dishes and also wine. We got the very tasty eggplant appetizer. I took the big appetizer plate only for me as my main and it was a nice choice if you are not looking for a hot option. But also their meat options are big and tasty. We also took the famous hachapuri with the egg, which is always a highlight.

We had a truly delicious, cozy, and unique dinner. We particularly enjoyed the amphora wine, although it might not suit everyone's taste. The appetizer platter, the cheese-filled pastries, and the blackberry sauce chicken were divine; the spices evoked a longing for travel. We discovered this restaurant through a Taste travel guide recommendation and would gladly return. The only things that would have been perfect were some soft background music and a lit candle or a small flower on our table (these were already present on the other tables).

My husband and I ordered various dishes – everything looked delicious and fresh. But even while eating, I had a strange feeling in my stomach. I thought it was just my imagination. Unfortunately, I felt increasingly worse at home. I was vomiting all night and had a high fever. I'm really sad because we really like Georgian cuisine and were looking forward to this evening. But after this experience, I unfortunately can't recommend the restaurant. My husband felt the same way I did.

I've never eaten such delicious cheese khinkali! I love this restaurant – the food and wine are excellent, the atmosphere is beautiful, and the service is warm and friendly.

We got a table right away, with plenty of seating to choose from, including outside seating. Very delicious food, friendly staff, fast service, we'd definitely go back.

I went out to eat with my mother, two people, for €76.50. Not particularly expensive, but not cheap either. The problem is: we weren't full. We had an appetizer, two main courses, and three glasses of wine. The appetizer consisted of three pieces of eggplant plus bread – €14.50. I don't know if it was the bread or the eggplant that was so expensive. The main course included lamb for €24.50, no more than eight small pieces in total. Far too salty – unfortunately, water was so overpriced that we didn't dare order any. On the way home, I bought myself a durum wheat beer – finally full and satisfied. I could've spent the money more wisely. My bad

Two of us had dinner here on a weekday evening. The service was fast, but not particularly friendly. The appetizer plate was good, but the fried bread didn't taste fresh; it was very hard. The main courses (one vegetarian stew and one homemade sausage) seemed to have been reheated and didn't have any "special" or unusual flavor for a first-time Georgian experience. Overall, the prices were high and, in our opinion, not entirely justified. We wouldn't come back.

Super delicious! It was my first time eating Georgian food, and it certainly won't be my last. The khinkali dumplings were even more delicious than expected! I'll have to try the chicken with blackberry sauce; it reminded me a bit of a Persian pomegranate chicken. In the summer, you can sit outside in a quiet spot under the trees. This is a light version of Georgian cuisine, there is a real lack of spices, there are practically none in the dishes. No cilantro, no greens. My husband and I ordered different appetizers, khinkali and chicken fillet with berry sauce. The presentation is beautiful, but the dishes are bland. The wine is excellent.

The food is good, but the lack of "Georgian" staff to suggest and explain the local dishes makes it seem like an "ethnic" restaurant among many. We dined outside in a very quiet, green corner.

The food was delicious, the portions were large, but there were not enough herbs (cilantro, dill). The khachapuri was amazing, lots of cheese. I was very surprised by the reviews that the food was bland.🤔 For me, on the contrary, it was too spicy. (This is not indicated on the menu, but there are a lot of vegan icons🤪) The kupaty were especially over-peppered. The portions were large, so we asked to pack some to go. Unfortunately, when we got home, we did not find any salads, which we almost did not eat... it was a shame, given that my husband left a good tip☹️ The rating was lowered for this.

The food had a homecooking feel to it and was tasty. I cannot comment on its originaliry, as I do not know food from Georgia. However, it was full/ busy that evening and that showed in serving times. We celebrated my birthday at So Re Restaurant yesterday – and it was simply wonderful! 🥳 The food was consistently delicious, fresh, and authentic – the Georgian specialties were a huge hit with all our guests. It was especially great that we were able to share different dishes – perfect for a larger group. A big compliment to the friendly and attentive staff – and especially to the chef Natia, who served us personally. You could tell that they put heart and passion into the food. 💛 The highlight was a Napoleon cake with candles and small fountains of fireworks – not only delicious, but also beautifully presented and big enough for everyone. Many thanks to the entire team – we felt completely at home and will definitely be back! Highly recommended for celebrations, good food, and Georgian hospitality!

The khinkali were delicious, but a bit disappointing for the price as a main course: one portion isn't filling. Unfortunately, the service was a major weakness. We weren't greeted, and there were long waits for the first appetizer. This significantly dampened the overall impression. Overall, it was a pleasant summer evening thanks to the atmosphere, but we won't be returning.

We ate inside, and the tables are nicely arranged, making for a very comfortable seating experience. The tables for two are quite small and don't encourage sharing. A bottle of water (plus two glasses) and two wines, and the table is full by the time the food arrives. That's a bit too crowded for me personally. The staff is friendly and leaves you alone for the most part, meaning they don't automatically ask if you'd like anything else, even if your glasses are empty. (But you just need to know in advance.) The food is great. Good quality, fair prices for the dishes. The drinks are relatively expensive, especially the wines and aperitifs. Contrary to the menu, payment by debit card is accepted. Parking is a bit of a challenge. 5 minutes from the bus stops.

Hello! I don’t normally leave reviews, especially negative ones. Let me say - food was 10/10 amazing, feels like home! However, service was hostile and it was so negative we asked even if they were open because from the second we walked in, it felt like the place was closed and it was as if we walked through a door which was closed “like what do you want” attitude. Waitress bless her tried to pick up her mood but overall the atmosphere was very tense and unwelcoming. We drove from Amsterdam to come over to have Georgian food, and to have such tension and unwelcoming kind of left a mark on our date night we drove out for. Yes it was hot weather and everything and it was a really frustrating day, but my brother runs a restaurant and I thought “what if this was his place, wouldn’t he want to know that the customer will not return not because of the food but because of the hosting?”. So here I am. Apologies for being a sour person, but this kind of explains the attitude. I’m sorry to the waitress I’m seemingly throwing under the bus, but just a sour experience due to the hostility of the staff. Otherwise food was amazing seriously good. And location is really sweet. We were really looking forward to visiting this restaurant because we love and know the taste of real Georgian cuisine. Unfortunately, the place didn't live up to our expectations at all. The dishes we tried didn't convey the richness of flavors, aromas, and spices that Georgian cuisine is famous for. The beetroot, carrot, and spinach pkhali were absolutely tasteless. The main thing they lacked was nuts, which are the main ingredient in this dish. There simply weren't any, or there were so few that the taste wasn't felt at all. The mchadi were nothing special at all - dense, tasteless, more like unsuccessful pancakes. Nothing in common with real corn cakes. Khachapuri - a C. The dough was normal, but there was very little cheese. I wanted more juiciness and richness. Khinkali - the only thing that was more or less acceptable. But here too the taste of the meat was interrupted by herbs, which also spoiled the impression. The grilled pork was absolutely bland, without the slightest taste. No spices, no salt, no character. A complete disappointment. The atmosphere was also a let down. The interior does not resemble Georgian at all - books with Indian images, strange decor, the feeling that you are in a random eatery, and not in a national restaurant. There is no coziness at all. The service was cold and indifferent. No one came up to ask if everything was okay, if you liked the food, if you needed anything. The feeling that you are left to your own devices and no one is interested in you as a guest. It seems that this place lacks soul, taste, or a professional approach. The chef should seriously work on the dishes, and the owners - on the atmosphere and service. So far, this place is unlikely to give a real Georgian gastronomic pleasure. It may suit those who have never tried real Georgian cuisine. But for those who know and love it, this is not the place.
