Super delicious traditional Georgian food. I'd love to come back.

A real pearl in lively Düsseldorf. It's no wonder that the SoRe is so busy (better make a reservation), as it is a beautiful location, with great service and delicious food. Gladly again at any time!

The amphora wine is very good. Cold food, very good. The cheese bread was more like a pizza.

What's going on at So Re? I've really enjoyed eating with you so far. I always appreciated the quality of the dishes - even if you had to be patient and think about cash. The restaurant is located in one of the few corners with beautiful trees and quiet streets, which made the stay particularly pleasant. But my last visit was a real disappointment. I came to pick up a TooGoodToGo meal, as I had done many times before. So far I have been amazed by the generosity and quality of the packages. This time, however, the bag only consisted of a portion of soup, a small salad, four dry pieces of meat and a loaf of bread - all carelessly packaged. The soup had run out and the bread was only covered with aluminum foil. This is far from what I was used to from you. Since I don't know whether this is just a slip-up or a reflection of a general decline in quality, I don't want to invite my friends to So Re for the time being. I also canceled my reservation for May as a precaution. It's a shame - because I really liked your restaurant. But dealing with TooGoodToGo customers unfortunately also sheds light on how we deal with guests in general.

I want to leave a review, the staff doesn’t care about you, we only sat and waited for about 15 minutes until they gave us a menu, it takes a very long time, there is no service, the waiters just sit on the bar counter drinking cocktails and eating, further on the menu for the meat it was not written what kind of frying, the meat was brought almost raw, there was blood in the middle, the khinkali were not khinkali, like regular store-bought ones) 👍

Alles super: freundlicher Empfang, Malsachen für die Kinder, Essen super lecker, toller Wein, nicht zu teuer. Wir kommen wieder!

Very tasty food, reasonable portions and friendly service. It's always full on Friday/Saturday - make sure you make a reservation! The only small point of criticism: the tables are very narrow or are cramped for 2 people.

Great Georgian restaurant with authentic food and great atmosphere! We were there as part of Taste Twelve and will definitely be back. The service was a bit careless at times, but it also suddenly became quite crowded, so sometimes you lose sight of things 🫰

Unfortunately I didn't like it. I also didn't think it was okay that we were almost sent away again because supposedly everything was full but in the 1.5 hours we were there only half of the tables were occupied.

Good atmosphere and very tasty, we are not the first time here. On the downside, there is a problem with parking and service. Unfortunately, we always wait a long time and have to call the waiters ourselves, even when it is not fully seated. We have to ask when the dish will be ready, when we are waiting for the bill, when we want to order more. We noticed that for several tables, people with empty glasses sit for a long time and no one longer comes to check it. If the staff is more attentive to the guests, the reviews will be the highest. And it is good that it’s now possible to pay bills by card.

An dem Tag wurde SO RE in Düsseldorf so sehr gelobt – „dies und das“, „beste Khinkali – so etwas findet man nicht mal in Georgien“. Die Realität: Das Fleisch war übersalzen, die Menge an Brühe – minimal, der Geschmack von Fleisch und Brühe zusammen: gerade mal eine 3+, nicht mehr. Der Preis ist in Ordnung, aber die Qualität? Komm schon… Eine Portion Tschakapuli: 24,50 €, gute 2, und man hatte uns vorher gesagt: „Ganz okay, aber erwarte nichts Großes.“ Danke für die ehrlichen Worte, das schätze ich sehr! Lobiani, Imeretisches Chatschapuri, Pchali – solides Niveau. Mtschadi – „Ich glaube es nicht“, wie Stanislawski sagte. Tschachochbili – undefinierbare Konsistenz und Geschmack… mmmh… Sazivi – gut (naja, für diejenigen, die das im April essen können, natürlich). Tschatscha – am Ende kostenlos. Die beste mit Feijoa und auch die normale. (Vielen Dank!) Sehr gemischte Eindrücke, also eine gute 3!

Everything is perfect here: ambience, service and food. Everything was harmonious and vegetarians also have a large selection of dishes here. Four of us had the large starter plate and then a main course each. The classic dumplings with minced meat, the lamb stew and the chicken in walnut sauce were very tasty. The service was attentive and very friendly. Only the tables are very narrow. We felt really comfortable and would love to come back! Be sure to reserve on the weekend!

The food was good. We ordered three dishes in total, but the third didn't arrive for an hour. Unfortunately, there was no apology or compensation for this.

A first class restaurant. Fresh food is cooked here with love. I would love to eat the menu "up and down together" if it weren't for my favorite dishes. SoRe is addictive.

Very tasty food, large portions, reasonable prices, super nice service and a cozy atmosphere. It was our first time eating Georgian food and it won't be the last time. It was really very good. The mixed starter platter is highly recommended. It's so full that it's enough to serve as a main course.

Delicious food here. The khinkali were delicious and a must have. And all that for a more than excellent price. Service was a bit chaotic.

The two of us ate there. The food is really tasty and good. Likewise the ambience. Everything was nice and clean and well furnished. The service can be improved a little. Empty glasses and cards are left at the table and drinks are only brought upon request. The water was forgotten and I had to order the wine myself. If the glasses are empty you can ask politely. I think that was a snapshot. Would definitely recommend it

Wanted to try something completely different, There were four people and they trusted a recommendation from the TV and were not disappointed 😀👍 very accommodating and friendly! Despite the wait, we had a very nice evening.

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Unfortunately, the service lacks attention because it is completely overwhelmed. You wait quite a long time until you can order something or then receive it. Unfortunately, during the meal you often found yourself sitting in front of an empty glass or waiting for a repeat order. The food is very tasty, just a different cuisine. However, we found the price/performance ratio for food and drinks to be very ambitious.

A very nice restaurant with an exciting cuisine that was new to me. We had a starter plate and then some main courses and of course dessert. The dishes were super tasty and really well seasoned. I will definitely come again. Oh yes, the restaurant is easy to reach by public transport, so you don't have to worry about finding a parking space

Unfortunately the food was very bland. I missed the taste “wow” effect. Everything on the menu sounds very tasty. Otherwise everything was very good. The service was nice and the ambience was nice too.

We came across this great Georgian restaurant through the program “Everything but Potatoes”, which can be found in the ARD media library. Our mouths were already watering in front of the television. Yesterday we were able to experience So Re live. Delicious Georgian cuisine, nice ambience and the boss is as personable as she is on the TV show. We will definitely be back and thank you for the lovely evening!

Delicious food, but relatively lightly seasoned and a bit too expensive for it. We also had to wait a relatively long time for food. Very nice service and great ambience.

Home cooking for the Georgian taste. We had the starter plate, the chicken in the cold blueberry sauce and the lamb. We enjoyed it.

We didn't like it. My food tasted good, home cooking, but was far too expensive. My companion's food didn't taste good at all and was too expensive. Staff friendly, but not enough staff for the size of the restaurant. Sometimes long waiting times. It was worth a try, but won't be repeated.

Absolutely wonderful food and atmosphere. Super charming and helpful owner. We ordered way more than we could eat and took some Chinkalis home, warmed them up the next day - and they tasted just perfect! Way to go! 🇬🇪🤩

Sore is a super nice restaurant with a great large terrace. The food is amazing, it's freshly prepared and it tastes very authentically Georgian. The Georgian wines are also highly recommended. The owner and the service are great.

Food really absolutely delicious. Attractively served. Service a bit slow. Your own cell phone and conversations with colleagues take priority over operating. Benches worn out and run down. Water glass as a flower vase. There's more to go.

Eine kulinarische Reise nach Tiflis. Sehr angenehme Atmosphäre, sehr sehr gutes Essen und ein Lächeln der Restaurantbesitzerin, was einem noch lange nicht aus dem Gedächtnis geht. Tipp: Chinkali unbedingt mit den Händen essen und den leckeren Saft aus den Teigtaschen ausschlürfen.

A great first introduction to Georgian food. We especially enjoyed the Megruli and aubergine rolls. Would be happy to return to try other dishes on the menu.

As a Georgian, I can say that it’s the tastiest Georgian food in Düsseldorf, same as in Georgia! Me and my family loved it!

Unfortunately I have to give 1 star because the restaurant at the Khinkalis does not offer any beef substitute and only sells pork as a meat option. As a Georgian restaurant, I would have liked a beef substitute for Muslim customers

Ate Georgian for the first time and was immediately impressed. Very hospitable and exciting cuisine.

We liked the restaurant. The service was friendly and good, but a little overloaded. Too many guests and too few staff. The food was good. The white amphora wine surprised me positively. The starter plate, the khinkali and ajapsandali were very tasty. In our opinion, the only thing that wasn't right was the price/quantity ratio for the main courses. The tarragon lemonade is original and delicious.

What can I say, I think the store is great. Freshly cooked and to a higher standard, plus a solid selection of good meat. More expensive in price, but in a fair proportion. Always my pleasure!

I've eaten a lot of Georgian food, but this restaurant is simply special! We were there with my wife and daughter and loved it. The atmosphere is very nice and inviting, the food was incredibly delicious. I can particularly recommend the “Adjara-style Khachapuri” and of course the “Khinkali” – a real taste experience! Everything was prepared perfectly. And the Georgian wines? Simply the best in the world! Georgia gave humanity wine, and it shows. I recommend everyone to definitely try the wines - a treat not to be missed. The staff deserves high praise. Polite, nice, humorous and always in a good mood – simply wonderful! If you haven't been there, you've really missed something in your life. Many thanks to the SO RE team and to Georgia for this unique cuisine! I always enjoy coming back.

We visited this restaurant and were very pleased, real Georgian cuisine, which can only be tasted in Georgia and in this restaurant! The wines deserve special attention. I recommend!

There were two of us there and we were unfortunately disappointed. The food was nothing more than mediocre. Some of the Kinkhali were not through at all. Salad not very fresh. Nothing special and extremely overpriced for what is on offer. The store wasn't very busy either. Interesting: As with the other Düsseldorf Georgian restaurant with Georgian dishes, "Pepella", the boss is Mr. Rati Tsakadze (also owner of "SO RE UG", "Almatovari GmbH"). However, Natia Torchinava appears to be the managing director here. I don't understand why the real owner is being concealed; one can only speculate. Another point of criticism: At "So Re" you can only pay in cash (despite using the cash register system from DISH Digital Solutions / Metro Group). The imprint of the two websites ("Pepella" and "So Re") is incorrect and only contains cell phone numbers and quickly created email addresses, some of which differ in the spelling of the names. No address, no business form, no tax number (!). Consumer protection and customs should take a closer look here. The only really positive thing about the restaurant "So Re" is the interior design, which comes from the previous owner and was simply taken over.

Authentic Georgian cuisine, served in a stylish manner. We had pickled vegetables, khachapuri adjaruli, khinkali and kupati and were very satisfied. The service was very friendly.

We saw the report on television. We ate at So-Re today full of anticipation. Our expectations were even exceeded. The boss herself served us. Really very nice and friendly service. The recommended wine was very tasty. The food was just GREAT. The restaurant is absolutely recommended. We'll definitely be back.

We visited there for the first time yesterday and were very impressed! Very nice service (maybe not attentive enough at the beginning), very nice rooms, very pleasant, subtle music. Wines were good, the selection of non-alcoholic drinks was also good - exciting tarragon lemonade! The food was almost entirely convincing: for starters we had dumplings and bread boats, which were very, very tasty. The stews (lots of meat) for the main course were also very tasty, very intense and well seasoned, and the bread was fresh and homemade. Unfortunately, the mixed appetizer platter wasn't really tasty, the colors were great, and nicely presented, but unfortunately the taste was rather poor. The menu read much more exciting and tasty than it actually was in the end. Therefore a star deduction for the food. But otherwise it was a success - we'll definitely be back, but then the main course will definitely only be stew!😉

For me as a Georgian, Khinkali was simply inedible. And selling it for 3.6 euros per piece is a disgrace. To oversalt Lobiani. Asking 18 euros for it is a huge price. Disappointing :(((

10/10 extremely cozy, nice atmosphere and service. Very authentic family business. The mixed appetizer platter was extremely tasty. You can feel the authentic cuisine in every bite. The chicken was solid, the grilled eggplant was the tastiest vegetable I've ever eaten. The two sauces were interesting and rounded off the taste wonderfully. I would come back any time! But be careful if you don't like coriander, it is used extensively.

I went to this cafe with friends who I recently visited Georgia with. So we were able to compare the original dishes with the dishes from this restaurant. Everything we ordered was tasty, but it hardly resembled the original Georgian dishes. The spices were missing. I can only highlight the Khinkali: the meat in it was excellently prepared and had the right spices. But the dough was very sticky. Saperavi wine was reminiscent of Pinot Noir and had an almost transparent hue, rather than the dense, almost black color of the original Saperavi.

Great experience overall, with a relaxed and also intimate atmosphere, perfect for couples but also groups. Service was nice, with friendly waiters and short waiting times. Food was delicious, some of the best I had so far, with great presentation. I highly recommend it!

We decided to visit So Re as a group of five. When we entered the store we were led to an uncovered table, while the table next to us was not cleared until the end. The food, which was sometimes tasteless, especially the starter plate, is mediocre to sometimes unsatisfactory. The only good thing in the shop was the khinkali, although we had to wait 40+ minutes for the first course. The shop was empty, why we had to wait so long is a mystery to us. The restaurant didn't have a special atmosphere because it was almost empty. We were promised that the second portion of khinkali would be ready within 15 minutes. When we asked the waiter (who stood outside smoking most of the time) if we were still getting our food, he said that we had already had our portion and now we had to wait. The waiter's tone and manner were anything but polite and we paid 140 euros for 15 khinkali and 2 starters. Absolutely unacceptable for the quality of the food and the service. We won't be visiting the restaurant again

Everything was delicious, everyone was very friendly!

The food was okay and the ambience was also appealing. Unfortunately, there are deductions in the rating because I was there with a friend of Russian origin and the waitress spoke to her in Russian almost the entire time while I sat next to her and didn't understand anything. I find that rude and not in line with the service standard of a restaurant.

The food is unspectacular, expected more for this price. Also extremely unprofessional cuisine, it takes over half an hour to serve a cold starter. And the other dishes are even worse. The “three more minutes” was a whole 10. There is someone in the kitchen who is either completely alone or unable to delegate. The fact that later tables were served earlier is the crowning glory. Ambiance is below average and boring. A few candles or nicer lighting would work wonders. The waiters are also extremely slow and inattentive, no one came past our table unless you desperately called for the service. The service doesn't want to hear any criticism, but that fits with the overall picture that emerges in the other comments. The equipment is also below average, poorly sheared knives, hardly any and irregular decoration, no heart and no love for your own restaurant. I really wonder how this restaurant stays afloat since we won't be coming back and the restaurant was sparsely filled on a Saturday evening. So you are not successful. Which makes the lack of critical ability even sadder. The restaurant is now part of our blacklist, and like the others that were there, may be just as broke as the others. Very unfortunate.

Everything was sooo delicious. Old, torn furniture spoils the overall impression. There is also a lack of Georgian attributes that are expected in such an establishment.

We visited So Re in July 2024. Our family loves Georgian restaurants, and we have visited in the past great places in other locations, like Vienna, Bratislava, Kyiv. However, the food in So Re was absolutely not great, Khinkali were too salty and not juicy as they should be. Gemischte vorspeusenplatte was too spicy and salty. The only good experience was with Khachapuri and the wine, which were as good as it should be. Another point which was missing is some atmosphere, interior is quite poor, service is quite slow and could be improved. Prices are really high. We have paid 120 EUR for 2 adults and 2 small kids, which is overpriced for such a quality of the restaurant. Despite having great references, we are really disappointed in this place and probably won't come Bach here again unless food quality and service level will be improved.

We were there on July 22, around 8 pm, since it was a Monday, there were quite a lot of free tables on the street and we didn’t have to wait for seating. The service is pleasant and quite fast, I was especially pleased with the system where you can add an addition to your order using a QR code or ask for an invoice. Another plus, the waiter was very friendly and spoke Russian, and also honestly advised not to order too much, since the dishes were quite filling. 2 glasses of wine, Adjarian khachapuri + a plate of snacks and lemonade cost us 57 €. The only thing that upset me is that there is no lamb or lula kebab on the menu.
