La Vida in München

Viel zu teure Tapas und kleine Portionen ohne Brot (ich glaube, der Klecks Aioli soll einfach so runtergeschlürft werden), unfreundliches Personal; es ist unmöglich, etwas nachzubestellen oder die Rechnung zu verlangen. Geschweige denn, dass nachgefragt wird, ob alles in Ordnung ist. Eine große Enttäuschung, denn das Ambiente ist eigentlich schön.

Das Personal ist wirklich unhöflich und unfreundlich, die Wartezeit allein für Getränke ist sehr lang und als wir fragten, wollten sie uns nicht mehr als zwei Gläser Wasser geben, sie sagten einfach nein.

Es ist windig und die Atmosphäre ist angenehm.

Ein schönes spanisches Café La Vida mit leckerem Essen und einer angenehmen Atmosphäre. Ein großes Dankeschön an Herrn Döring für den freundlichen und professionellen Service. Ich komme sehr gerne wieder!

Das Essen lässt sehr zu wünschen übrig; zwar hübsch angerichtet, aber die Portionen sind winzig. All diese entzückenden kleinen Terrassen scheinen zum selben Konzept zu gehören: Es sind verschiedene Restaurants, aber mit einer einzigen Küche und nur einer Bedienung. Es dauerte ewig, bis wir Salat, Brot mit Aioli und eine klassische Tapas-Platte bekamen. Das Brot mit Aioli bestand nur aus einer Schüssel mit fertiger Aioli aus dem Glas und drei winzigen Brötchen (ich habe ein Foto hochgeladen). Da wir zu viert waren, baten wir um mehr Brot, woraufhin uns ein kleiner Korb mit vier Scheiben gebracht wurde, die wie Baguette aussahen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und das Lokal ist wunderschön, aber kommen Sie nicht hungrig.

Schönes Restaurant, aber leider eine unangenehme Erfahrung. Ein Mitarbeiter, der wie ein Vorgesetzter wirkte, betrachtete mich auf eine Weise, die ich als unangemessen empfand. Dadurch fühlte ich mich unwohl. Schade, denn der erste Eindruck des Lokals war eigentlich sehr positiv.

Wir waren an einem schönen milden Sommerabend in diesem tollen Restaurant!😃 super nettes Personal (vor allem Dorian der uns bedient hat) ! Das Essen war super und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Eine wahre Herzens Empfehlung von uns! Der Besuch ist es wert!

Sehr lecker, tolles Essen! Es ist unglaublich schön dort zu sitzen, alles ist stilvoll gestaltet, die Stühle sind bequem und im Sommer sitzt man draußen ruhig und im Schatten. Das Ambiente ist außergewöhnlich schön, dafür dass man im Stadtzentrum ist. Service ist nett und nicht aufdringlich.

Spontan entschieden wir, mein Sohn und ich, uns, in der Stadt Tapas essen zu gehen. Wir entdeckten den wunderschön gestalteten kleinen Hinterhof, der uns mit seinen liebevollen Details und gepflegten Grünpflanzen sofort in Urlaubsstimmung versetzte. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und herzlich und das Essen war richtig lecker! Auch der Innenraum ist sehr ansprechend gestaltet. Wir kommen ganz bald wieder 😊👌

Wir sind das erste mal in München und haben nach einem gemütlichen Plätzchen gesucht wo wir was leckeres Essen können. Zufällig haben wir das La Vida entdeckt. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr gemütlich und angenehm. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Bedienung ist auch mega freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen war lecker, frisch und typisch spanisch. Alles in allem ein Geheimtipp für Liebhaber der spanischen Küche.

Wir haben den Laden zufällig entdeckt, er ist in jeder Hinsicht originell! Der Service war super freundlich, die Kellnerinnen und der Besitzer waren großartig, das Essen war ein Traum (10/10), wir bestellten Salat, Fleischbällchen, leckere Kartoffeln, Pasta mit Spinat, Knoblauchbrot, alles war so lecker, dass wir gleich am nächsten Abend wieder hingegangen sind.

Wir haben eine Meeresfrüchte-Paella für zwei Personen bestellt. Sie war sehr lecker und enthielt reichlich Meeresfrüchte (Tintenfisch, Oktopus, Muscheln, Garnelen). Wir haben sie sehr genossen und können sie weiterempfehlen! 👍

Sehr enttäuschender Besuch Ich habe ein Gericht mit Ziegenkäse bestellt. Serviert wurde mir ohne Rücksprache ein anderes Gericht mit Camembert. Über die Änderung wurde ich vorab nicht informiert. Die Präsentation war mangelhaft und die Portion für einen Preis von 18,50 € nicht angemessen. Die Käsemenge war verschwindend gering. Ich habe darauf verzichtet, das Gericht zurückgehen zu lassen, um keine Szene zu verursachen. Angesichts der falschen Lieferung und der kleinen Portion hätte ich jedoch zumindest eine Kulanzlösung oder einen Preisnachlass erwartet. Dies erfolgte nicht. Der Service war in dieser Situation nicht professionell. Aufgrund dieser Erfahrung werde ich das Restaurant nicht mehr besuchen.

Wir haben einen sehr gemütlichen Abend hier verbracht. Wir haben sogar spontan einen Platz bekommen ohne Reservierung - und das an einem Freitag Abend. Die gemischten Tapas und die Suppe waren gut, aber was uns vor allem gefallen hat war die angenehme, entspannte Atmosphäre. Das Lokal ist wirklich sehr schön und gemütlich eingerichtet, da schmeckt der Wein gleich noch besser. Der Service war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Ein toller Ort, direkt neben einem ebenso exzellenten Restaurant (Briceltà) an einem kleinen, etwas versteckten Platz in München. Hier lässt es sich wunderbar ein Glas Wein und Tapas in einer wunderschön eingerichteten Bar mit gemütlicher Atmosphäre genießen. Der Service war überaus freundlich. Alles war hervorragend.

Ich war dort zum Abendessen und hatte eine gemischte Tapas-Platte. Die Auswahl war gut, aber da alles kalt war, verstehe ich nicht, warum wir fast 30 Minuten warten mussten. Nichts war besonders, das Essen einfach nur fad und den Preis definitiv nicht wert. Die Lage im Stadtzentrum ist allerdings gut. Unser Kellner war auch ziemlich langsam, wir mussten ewig warten, bis wir überhaupt bestellen konnten. Ich würde nicht wiederkommen.

Haben in dem kleinen gemütlichen Lokal gleich einen Platz bekommen ohne reserviert zu haben. Der Service war flott und absolut zuvorkommend. Für Tapas würden wir hier nicht wieder kommen. Alles in allem geschmacklich kein Hochgenuss und etwas wenig… es fehlte auch an Salz.

Ein perfekter Ort für ein Treffen mit Freunden.

Die Atmosphäre war in Ordnung. Leider bestand die heiße Schokolade nur aus Milch mit etwas Kakao, mehr Milch als Kakao... 5,50 Euro. Der männliche Angestellte war unfreundlich.

Leider waren sowohl der spanische Schinken als auch die Gambas und Datteln im Speckmantel aus. Somit fehlten die wichtigsten Bestandteile der Platte La Vida, stattdessen mit Käse und Aglioli aufgefüllt, was natürlich nicht dasselbe ist. Trotzdem wurde der hohe Preis verlangt. Service recht langsam, meine Reservierung wurde erst nicht gefunden. Eher portugiesische und italienische als spanische Spezialitäten. Wir werden nicht mehr hingehen und bevorzugen andere Spanier in München. Das Essen war soweit okay.

The best resturant in Munich! Dorian was such a gracious host. The food was absolutely amazing and the atmosphere was lovely. We will definitely visit again the next time we are there!!

We ordered two cappuccinos and were asked if we wanted a water (we thought it was a small glass of water, as is customary in many cafes). The waiter brought a 1-liter bottle of still water for €7 alongside the coffees. When we tried to cancel the unopened bottle, he insisted it was already on our bill and opened it without asking. So, a total of €17 for two coffees and a water, which we never wanted. A brazen scam and absolutely avoidable.

Yes, I highly recommend "La Vida." The salad with shrimp and vegetables was very good. So were the toasted bread and the cappuccino. We sat outside, and it was wonderful, even with today's rainy weather. A very nice place!

A very nice evening with a Spanish feel. We received the evening as a Christmas present and stopped by for a "Tapas del Mare" meal. The service was excellent and the food was very, very good. The food was cold, the service was rude, the owner treated the guests very badly. We ordered a paella, the smell was unbearable and we wanted to eat something else, no exchange and we still have to pay and according to the owner we will never go again 👎 we are 5 people and treated badly 👎

Cheapest food not particularly well prepared and overly expensive. Steak 1cm thick for 27 euros without side dishes. Just a cheap piece of meat without anything with a few herbs served as a chimmichurri. Sangria made with cheap tasteless and mushy frozen fruit. It's a shame, the atmosphere is really nice, but the food is a disgrace.

Outrageous price for what they call tapas.

The place is nice to be, but in terms of food and service, there is a lot to improve. We spent €60 for three people, and only my wife and I ate. In total, 4 glasses of beer, two tapas, a glass of water and a glass of Ginger Ale, totaling €60. And I was honestly disappointed with the tapas: a bowl with a few olives, four slices of cheese (very good, by the way), two slices of morando, two slices of pear, some grapes and a basket of dry bread. Munich seems to me to be a city lacking in gastronomy and this establishment once again confirmed this.

What a nice, uncomfortable insider tip! Away from the hustle and bustle of the big city, a beautiful courtyard and this small, beautifully decorated restaurant. If you are looking for something typical and absolutely familiar, you have come to the right place. Very friendly, familiar service and the owners are also on site. You realize that it is a business with heart and body and soul.

The location is really beautiful and we really enjoyed our visit. We went there for a few drinks. Unfortunately, card payments are only available from €20, and even if you round up to this amount with a tip, paying by card is not possible. Since we couldn't order anything else to reach the €20, we first had to run to the bank. That was a bit awkward. Perhaps it would be possible to offer more flexible payment options in the future. Otherwise a great place with a pleasant atmosphere!

Wir wurden super herzlich empfangen. Das Ambiente war genau so wie man es sich in einer Tapas Bar vorstellt, gemütlich mit Liebe zum Detail. Das Essen war definitiv 5 Sterne wert, wir hatten verschiedene Tapas und wirklich alles war super lecker. Abgesehen davon war der Service super freundlich und schnell, man hat sich einfach wohl gefühlt.

Great ambience, simply cozy. An important recommendation is to make a reservation, especially on weekends. Although a little out of the way in the Asamhof, La Vida is probably very popular. The tapas platter for two and a Vinho Verde, so you can endure it and indulge in holiday memories for a bit. Surely everyone has had better tapas in Spain, but the restaurant is in Munich and the food is good.

Please never, but never order paella for two. We had a paella mista. It is a pseudo paella with 2 chicken legs, 4 shrimps and 5-6 mussels, not well seasoned rice... and cold.

We were served very friendly and courteously. Thank you for that. We ordered a paella mista for 2 people, which unfortunately wasn't even close to a good paella. More like boiled rice with a few 4 shrimps, 4 mussels and two chicken legs.. Unfortunately not what you expect a paella to be and how it should be. Maybe it's better to stick to tapas. It's a shame, I expected a lot more from a Portuguese-Soan restaurant.

I highly recommend this place!! My server Fabio was absolutely fantastic, he had a very wholesome and genuine energy. He made top notch cocktails, he is a true mixologist, even making me drinks of his own creation that were extremely delicious. This place has the best patio I’ve been to yet!! the vibe is great, there are lots of plants and colours and nice benches with tons of cushions. I tried one of their pastas and it too was very delicious, well priced and a good portion, including a lot of protein (chicken) in the dish. I very highly recommend this place!! It has gone on my list of ‘must go backs’, next time I’m in München I will certainly be back!! Thank you Fabian 🤙

The food was great, but the waiter didn't let us pay by card and when we paid by cash (70 euros), we didn't get the change back which was supposed to be about 9 euros. The waiter completely ignored the fact that we were still waiting for a change and just went to another table.

Very good food and the service was great. Restaurant was quite full at the moment and waiting time was long, but service and the tast of the food made it worth of waiting.

Really good experience ! Nice cosy street, a quiet interlude away from the hustle and bustle of Munich, yet only 2 minutes from the main square. Very pretty tables and decorations. Excellent food. Problem: the wasps, but obviously the restaurant has nothing to do with that.

Bought take away lasagna and pasta. Very small portions and very expensive. Food was a 2/10, lasagne only consisted of pasta sheets, almost no minced meat. Pasta is very simple, actually tastes better at home with ready-made sauce. Condition not professional, but arrogant and not serious about the matter.

The food was very good the other day. It went a little “too fast” for me and it always seems a lot like I was thawing. But it tasted good. The location was nice, the staff friendly. It has nothing in common with fine Munich gastronomy, but the price-performance ratio is very good. All in all, there is room for improvement but it is a good restaurant for Munich - which is known to be often overpriced. I'd love to come back. Thanks.

Food was fine, but very disorganized. Drinks took forever to order then arrive. I booked for 9 people for my bday and the waitress was confused lmao. Didn’t have a spot reserved for us, so we had to look around and put tables/chairs by ourselves to sit. It was completely embarrassing for me, having booked a week in advance. Just bad.

Service staff was very friendly! The food was a disappointment knowing what it could taste like! The paella in particular was more of a risotto with mussels that were either overfilled, empty or contained shredded mussel meat. The shrimp were good, the chicken legs dried out.
